Hospitality was great, they made sure I had everything I needed without delay. Room was very clean and spacious. I had a great 10 days. Located right next to golden souq which was so convenient. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed at this hotel for about 4 days and the service was amazing. Their goal was to serve their customers and did just that. I was able to enjoy my stay in Dubai while being able to have full access to tourist spots such as shops, restaurants and places in Dubai such as the mall of Dubai. The owner was amazing and kind wonderful lady and definitely satisfied her customers. I will definitely be going back to this hotel when visiting Dubai.

The manager there was kind caring understanding whenever im in need shes always there to help there is also a cafe on the first floor that server great foods and juices i would 100% recommend for you to go and try out golden star hotel im sure it wouldnt let you down

And loved the management too everyone was above and beyond helping out and giving answer for every questions I had. Poor service safety not good as there where electric wire laying everywhere rooms not clean no curtains on the windows fridge was dirty n not working the owner was rude there was dirty towels no soap overall not recommended worst hotel in the area

Golden hotel very clean and good location,the reception staff very very pleasant cleaners very polite good location mosque ( masjid) around the corner 2 minutes walk gold souq metro train 5 minute walk I recommend thank you so much team golden star.somaliyeey ku soo yaaca.

One of the great things about the hotel is its location at the heart of the Gold Souk. I felt very comfortable staying at the hotel. The customer service were also good. Overall I was satisfied with my stay at Golden Star Hotel.

Me and my family had to find a last minute hotel and decided to stay here - what a huge mistake. As soon as we entered through the doors, it felt like a half way house. People were congregated around the reception and I wasn’t sure if they worked there or if they were just hanging out. The rooms were horrendous; damp/mouldy smell; dirty bathroom; filth sheets and floors were literally sweating from condensation because the ac was not on, the list just goes on. The staff were rude and quite frankly: inappropriate at times. Please do not stay here!!!!

Last week I visited Dubai and I was looking Somali hotel near Gold Souk.So I decided to choose Golden Star hotel.I have been there for six days.The hospitality was so good,am so happy with the hotel services.Am going to convince my all friends from UK to come in this hotel.

The hotel was a star but Im wondering how they got this star. The room smelled,the sheets were dirty and also the floor the windows were filthy.Impolite staff and worked extremely slow. The bathroom was so grows that i felt cleaner without a shower.I would definitely recommend you to book another hotel , even if you have to pay a bit more.

This hotel Golden star is the worst hotel in Dubia please dont go very dirty old the pictures they but was 12 years ago. Check the water before you used is dark. Is shocking. So bad so expensive and the manger women so bad she only care about the money. Even is not worth one star satay away.

Worst Hotel Ever! What a nightmare! We planned a long trip in Dubai and wanted to stay in the gold souk area, our taxi driver took us to this hotel. We spent a total of two nights there (mind you we landed in Dubai about 9pm went to the hotel and knocked out) and those two night were the worst two nights of my time in Dubai! Only good thing about the place was how cold the AC got! The beds were old and hard as a rock! It’s a wooden box with a mattress over it! Very uncomfortable. The bathroom was small and dirty. Shower was very small and dirty! They give you slippe to use in the bathroom but I was sooo disgusted with how dirty the slippers were I used my own shoes and slippers in the bathroom are a must because of the dirt!! Room was small. Very tight space! No comforter or blank they give you a sheet! We called several times for a blank but nothing! It was impossible to shower water was way way way to hot! I do not recommend this hotel period! RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!! & Don’t get me started on the women who owns the place she wanted to cheat us when we told her that we no longer wanted to stay there! She wanted to charge us all these extra “taxes”after an hour or so of agreeing all these taxes and charges and we threatened to call the authorities and then and only then did we actually gives th correct price for the two nights! It was a couple hundred dollars in difference! We left before 9am the same day and never ever will we return!!! Horrible!!
