Great hotel right at the beachfront. It features multiple restaurants and bars as well as a pool, which is quite small though. The breakfast buffet is extensive, yet average for a 5-star hotel. The rooms are spacious and have all amenities you need (minibar, free coffee, tea and water, ironing , safe as well as sockets which are are also usable with EU-plugs). The cleanliness in the bathroom could be improved, though. I would recommend paying for the Luxury Room as you get an amazing view from the balcony.All in all a solid hotel.

Amazing! This was my husband and I second stay here. First was in 2018, only thing we didn’t like was they closed the Asian restaurant they had. Love the lounge on the beach with hookah. I thought I booked the same room from previous visit but didn’t. Once I informed the staff and showed them pics from our previous visit they automatically upgraded our room. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Enjoyed our entire week! Will definitely see us again.

Everything about this hotel says Five Star. Located right on JBR, this has good access to hotspots of Dubai Marina and The Walk. In addition it also is walking distance to the Tram and the Metro. The views from most of the rooms are gorgeous too. But the most compelling reason to choose this property over many others in the area is the service. Everybody from the team at the entrance to the reception to breakfast to room service will go an extra mile to make your stay comfortable and luxurious.

Positive: Luxury room was well decorated and clean. Modern design with balcony. Separate bath and shower was nice. Good worldly news channels. View was kind of OK. Could have been better for seaview room. Pool was nice addition. Location was right on seafront Negative: Room cleaner turned up at 3pm to say he clocked off at 5pm. We¿d been up and out since 7am. He quickly made the bed and changed towels. Bath products were cheap and the pool area was busy. Everyone was smoking at the pool area.

Visited with my Mom. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Dubai! Service was excellent. Room was a little dark and small but still nice.The food was spot on and the waitress remembered us from day 1. Loved how this hotel is in the middle of everything and you can get a lift from the pool down to the beach. Loved it and will definitely return in my next visit to Dubai!!

One of my favorite hotels so far. The rooms are clean and the service was good, the only thing I can say is that the check in was painfully slow. Beautiful and very comfortable place for all types of tourists, singles, families, couples.....Stuff is very helpful, attentive, trying to make your stay comfortable, classy, clean and nice.They are always here to help you.They give special equipment for the beach for free.I had an amazing room with a sea view, bathtub and shower.Friday Mediterranean branch is a special event with all the best of Cote d’Azur delicious frogs, snails, oysters, mussels of all kinds.

I’ve stayed at many hotels but this one right here, Sofitel JBR was the absolute best! I don’t know where to start but the bellmen John went above and beyond, he helped with and assisted with any of needs and made everything much easier even with getting my PCR testing and results done quickly. I definitely do recommend to all and will definitely be back my next to Dubai!

I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff at Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach. Our stay at this hotel was absolutely brilliant. I am very glad that I chose this hotel for my vacation. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to the sea, less than 5 minutes to the beach. City beach, very clean. From the hotel we were given clean towels, water and a handy bag every day for it all. The hotel also provides umbrellas and mini sun loungers on request. The quality of beach towels is excellent, I think not everyone at bathroom have such😊From the very beginning of our arrival, our luggage was immediately taken care of. The polite manager Muhammad was very friendly and attentive, arranged for us to check into room 1802. The room was clean and new. I have nothing to fight. Great room design, super clean. We had everything we needed in the room.I really thank the person who cleaned our room 1802 every day. We had fresh bed and towels every day, clean and tidy. At the same time, we were very politely asked when it would be convenient to come and clean all. Very polite and non-intrusive staff - everywhere.Very nice people: at the reception, in the restaurant, in the gym, people who are responsible for luggage and room cleaning.Separately, I would like to mention the restaurant - it was just great. All dishes are delicious, lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. A lot of juices and other drink options. Delicious pastries, main courses, breakfasts and dinners. A varied menu every day, seafood every evening for dinner. Just amazing sweets. We had a little complaint at the beginning. After addressing it at the reception, the whole team, from the manager to the concierge, really did their best until the checkout to make sure that we could leave with a good impression. And they definitely succeeded. Theres no unfulfilled wish. Well definitely come back to Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach.

They are being unhelpful. first of all they have give me the wrong room with the wrong view, Second of all it has been an exhausting experience. They are doing some kind of remodeling, and there has been a constant banging and machinery noises all day long in the floors above me. It has been the worst hotel experience for me in Dubai so far.

We were having Thursday BBQ by the pool and it was amazing. It’s a buffet BBQ and there were wide range of selections as well. Ranging from Shrimp to beef and chicken. The desert selection was also fantastic! The pastry Chef Rama was personally taking care of us! It’s a plus for this amazing BBQ night! Great work, keep it up

Decent property. Would not pay more than €130 during January. Very slow service except technician, which I guess is normal in Dubai, reading from other reviews. This does not occur for the Millesime Lounge, where the staff is quick, discrete and professional, also when the room fills up. Food and wine quality above average.Confusion about pricing which is significantly lower on 3rd party booking websites. In my case I paid €260 for a room direct which is sold for €190 via 3rd party.Construction work every day from 11-16 which was not made clear when checking in. During the night there is some street noise, which can be a challenge for light sleepers. Expect this to continue until 3am on Friday nights /Saturday mornings.While I was visiting, the hotel was fully booked. However the restaurants and bars on site were almost empty during evenings. Food and beverage selection is very good though.Rooms are well laid out with modern bathrooms and electronics. I had technical service which was very quick as mentioned earlier. Interior however is dated with chips and marks.Minibar has no snacks = I find myself wandering around at 1:41am looking for chocolate.

Beautiful room with balcony. The stuff is friendly. There is a beautiful infini pool. The buffet is large and various. There is a small shop in the hotel, the possibility to do some spa treatments and on Friday a huge brunch. This is a place is not „intimate“, it is an international place where there are many people moving around.

Bad experience.there was some construction happening in some floor so it was loud and the smells are bad.also the service was not good. we had a late check out and they didnt honor it because we didnt confirm it so they kicked us out.really the only good thing about my stay was that it is in JBR nothing more.

The hotel is excellent amd in a great position on JBR. The rooms are clean spacious and.we had a newly refurbished one on the 23rd floor which had the most comfortable bed.There.was a lack of any full length mirror and no plugs near the mirrors by the door. Clearly a designed by a man who has no need to dry his hair or look in the mirror whilst getting ready. This design needs to be looked at from a womans perspective as it is lacking the basic needs of a dressing room. A poor hairdryer and no mirrors.We opted for half board. Tempted by the website and choice of restaurants. This was very disappointing. None of the restaurants.staff knew what was going on or what was included and when.We visited the buffet on one day and was told it was chargeable due to a Brunch day so we were directed to the plantation restaurant. The food here was good, not excellent just good for a 5*.The next day we were told only the buffet was available and we were not allowed at another restaurant. The buffet was limited and not that great. Due to.covid you could not help yourself and it made it difficult to choose or see.what you desired. I like to have a few things from a buffet and this was not an option.After paying for half board we decided it was nicer to eat out and choose what we wanted. The staff in the plantation restaurant were grumpy and serving you seemed like a pain to them, even when you were paying full price.Dont opt for half board its not worth it.I booked and hour massage in the spa. This was again good but very expensive.Overall an OK experience but only.due to the low price. If we had paid full price I would not be happy.

Highly recommended and definitely will visit again .

Valet staff called named Akhtar from Pakistan has horrible attitude and worst way of personal approach. Did not expect that I’ll remember this place with negativity.

It is an amazing hotel every time I stay at sofitel my expectations are always succeed with all the amazing people from front desk who was very understanding and very helpful Shakib and Muhammad Mirza indeed very professional and they he is the back bone of the front desk. food and beverage was also attentive I would specially like to to give a massive thanks to housekeeping guy Mr Shahjan who made my room very cleaned and perfectly arranged and his supervisor Mr Thami and Mr Dinesh who was very concerned about my stay.

Very good service! The Sofitel is in a prime location and gives access to the beach. The pool is also sunny and the offer shisha at the pool. Ask for renovated room.

I choose this hotel to celebrate my partners birthday and it never disappoints me, except for the one male staff (Marokoz) in the reception who promise to send complimentary cake in our room but unfortunately he forgot to do so, so i ended up disappointed for keeping me waiting for nothing, I have to call and follow up in the reception. But overall experience was exceptional from the view inside our room to fantastic dinner and breakfast buffet. Definitely worth a penny!

The fondant was very good although a bit tiny! The duck was not bad but the middle eastern food didnt taste Middle Eastern with more Indian than Lebanese spices.

It was excellent because of the staff.Yana at reception for the warm welcome. Arif in housekeeping kept the room as if I was home. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Room service is horrible with not enough options, you have to lay down on a public beach with the towel the hotel gives you or your own. I have been to the best hotels with a lot of stars and to very simple hotels in my life, but this one has by far been the worst I have ever been. The only positive thing about this place is the staff that has been very polite and kind. But I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially to families with children’s. Hoping for emprovents.

I had to cancel a prepaid room on time. It took me almost 3 weeks to get my money back.The bill for my room was also wrong. Things from the minibar that I havent taken.Otherwise the hotel has a nice pool. But overall not 5 stars.

The hotel was Ok.However, I made 2x other bookings on Sofitel dubai Jumeriah website and cancelled the reservation with the free cancellation period. Since then, the hotel is NOT refunding me for no reason. They are refusing to communicate on why and when actually they will process the refund. They claimed the refund will take 14 business days and we are already over 20 business days.Avoid booking through their website. use other agents. unless you want to waste your money.

Good sized room with club access. Great breakfast, delicious afternoon tea and wine and canapés between 5 and 6.30. The hotel is in good location on The Walk at JBR. All the staff were helpful and professional especially Ali who smoothed the check in problems.Highly recommended. Excellent covid precautions, we felt very safe

I have stayed at this hotel for four years in a row now for my birthday. The things that brings me back here every year is the location, the staff and the cleanliness. The staff here are amazing and so polite and go way above their call of duty. This time, I lost my phone in my uber from the airport. Tilak (security supervisor) went out of his way to find the license plate and actually contact traffic control to find it. I ended up getting it back and I’m so grateful for his hard work. Above this, Annabel left me a lovely surprise in my room for my birthday, and a hand written note. Thank you to everyone at Sofitel and I can’t wait to return next hear again.
