Nice place and nice location, rooms are clean and sanitised , clean linen , clean bed sheets . On the outside , nice pool area and beach 🏖 club is also nice , beach area is a bit far from hotel and a long walk but they provide polo cart to drop you near , breakfast and lunch are served in Al Diyafah , good food , professional staff , small selection and not much of variety and need improvement … few restaurants and bars available in hotel.

Summary: Generally not up to the level I expected for an Autograph collection right across the board.The longer explanation:Breakfast quality food was poor - especially for Dubai. Felt like there was an extreme case of cost cutting being applied. Staff overworked at breakfast (did the best they could)The rooms inadequately equipped for modern hotel guests with plugs far from the bedside tables. For an autograph collection, the in room tea/coffee was basic and theres a general vibe of cost cutting clearly in place down to little things like minimal toiletries available (replenished on calling housekeeping but shouldnt have had to). Even the Shower door very weirdly configured such that theres no handle to open it from inside. Balcony promised was there but barely a foot deep so not really useful other than decorative.Adult pool has absolutely no shaded areas ... which in Dubai might as well be a health hazard and completely unacceptable. The regular pool needs a lot of maintenance work with many chipped areas.The beach is quite a fair walk away which is fair enough and the staff manning the beach side bar struggled with only 1 person usually there (only saw two people there at most). So service required a trek back and forth from the seaside to the bar hut to get any order done.The staff were pretty much the saving grace of the whole operation (other than at breakfast where they were clearly overloaded) but the hotel itself needs an uplift in the pool areas and a review of the obvious cost cutting in place because as it stands right now, I would not have signed it as an Autograph property in Dubai.

It was our second stay in this hotel and everything was amazing. The staff here is the absolute best. I am going to be honest and say that this is not the most perfect hotel in Dubai, there are others that are even better, but here the staff really makes a diference. It is not the most luxurious hotel in Dubai or the absolute best, but if you search for great service you will find it from the emplyees who treat guests like their family and they always do it with a smile on their face!! Not because of the place but the reception team. We book in advance, however they didnt print our names out. After 20 min of waiting, the guy found manager Mariya who was responsible in the evening. She found out that issue and... offered us to pay 200 instead of 100 per person, acting that we, three ladies, didnt mention that we would have been coming for the ladies day in the booking. How could she even know that if she was not the one whom we spoke with.In general, the place is very good! The rest if the staff is caring, attentive and really trying to create your mood.

We loved this hotel! We live in Abu Dhabi and because we were returning from a trip to a non-green list country, we decided we would rather spend our quarantine time in Dubai rather than be stuck at home. We stayed in this hotel and it was lovely. The adjoining rooms were absolutely perfect for our family of five.

During this long Eid holidays we stayed in Habtoor Grand Resort for 2 nights and 3 days. The hotel is dated and needs a makeover. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The view from our room was amazing. The bathroom was big and the toiletries were of excellent quality. I loved their gym and swimming pool. Lots of options for dining.

The staff is very professional and provides a high standard service that one can expect from a 5 stars hotel. This is something i enjoyed very much during my 3 nights stay.

Though the weather is too hot when we went we still had fun. They have friendly staff and they are keen on keeping everyones safety.

The atmosphere was great. The staff was amazing. They make sure we have everything to our comfort. It was my birthday and I wasnt expecting anything because I never have my birthday celebrated by a hotel before. They decorate my bed and the staff Akpey sing birthday song. They send birthday cake to my room. The breakfast area was amazing. I can go and on about this place . I am already recommending it to my friends and familyThe staff Akpey is amazing, she is very serious at her work. We leave room messy and we return every time, she have our stuff in order. She make sure we have everything we need to our comfort and so do the hotel staff. If Im going back and this hotel is sold out I will wait till its available. I cant say enough about my stay. Like I said before it was amazing.

During our weekend staycation here seems like its our day. Started from the very nice and friendly receptionist Ms. Mara, ask her for a room with a lovely view and she gave it to me exactly what was on my mind, what I see as well from post. We waited for the room to be ready at least had complimentary drink in the lobby with another nice staff Ms. Ei Mon.The room was great with a beautiful view of Ain Dubai, it was big enough for extra bed.The beach was little bit far from the hotel, but they had a golf cart free any time at the hotel entrance to take you to the beach, my kids had fun with the ride.We had amazing stay really all the staff are so kind, I wanted to mention another staff from the Al Diyafah too Ms. Rutendo.You can also check out on my YouTube channel LOISMAV Dubai Vlogs.

This was my best holidays. The service was amazing. On first call, within a few min, room service came. My room was always carefully cleaned (elephants and birds with hearts made from towels always were on my bad))) In Habtoor grand resort food was great, especially my favorite seafood. I was on vacation with my family and everyone was delighted. Gorgeous beach, clean, perfect location. Very polite staff are always smiling and happy to help any time. Highly recommend !

Lovely hotel, but the pool is surrounded with smokers. There is NO smoke free area for families with children. As soon as you sit down they bring ashtrays and matches, promoting this disgusting habit and forcing everyone around the pool the inhale second hand smoke. I wish they update their policies soon.

The breakfast mentioned Hash brown, and served a very low quality patato crocket. Desapointing. Rest was ok.

We were at the underground. I kinda disappointed of the guests at the same time staff here. Just coz the other guests was white and were asian we will experience discrimination from them! Those white people were very rude to us! And staff was in favor of those white people! And they staff just ignore our complain. This is so unacceptable!

Excellent, safe and good deal. We found this resort very good. Management and all staff is very helpful, kind and in times of covid wear masks and sanitize hotel. We got also room upgrade which we truly appreciated. Short distance to beach, pool is nice and warm.

Great swimming pool, and next to it Italian restorant. Excelent for kids, as there is water slide for them. Swimming pool is 1.5 m. Everywhere, which is great for kids also as eell as for adults, it is big enough for proper swim. Beach is not that great.

I stayed in Habtoor for 7 nights. Since day one staff were amazing. There are so much to do in the hotel that you could spend your whole day in the resort. Tennis court volleyball, soccer, Two pools + beach, nightclubs + bars + Italian, Japanese, middle eastern restaurants, spa and more. Also, hotel is 5 mins away form JBR and 30 mins to Dubai Mall.

Amazing resort, super soft and white natural sands on the beach. The swimming pool is huge plus lots of restaurants to choose from.

The incharge of the reception was freindlyShe gave me tge room type i want even i got it late at 19:40 however watch out left the kids clothes in the pool never found them again so watch out your belonging while u are here i felt in safe and unsecure and they couldnt do much

Its a good hotel as my family enjoyed staying in this property. But the Grand Grill Restaurant was a disaster. The service was very bad. The stake my family ordered was not good at all.We also ordered the whole Chicken which was totally uncooked inside and was blank with no spice in it. I dont think we will ever go to this Restaurant again. The staff was very unfriendly and uncordial.

I would like to complain about my experience today. I checked in at the hotelMentioned above. I can’t find words to describe my disappointment and frustration. I booked this hotel, category 6 and checked in into a category 3.As a gold member, instead of receiving an early check in and an upgrade I received a disgraceful room with mild on the ceiling no elevator and a motel look. And the check in was finally completed at 5.45 pm, so one hour and 45 minutes later than the normal check in time.After that I waited 57 minutes for my luggage to be brought to the room.But my biggest concern is that I had to wait at the pool of the hotel for my room from 2.00 pm to 5.45 pm. The deck was packed with people, zero social distancing, and very low level of hygiene which is more than concerning considering the current situation. I had to use ripped towels and when I was finally offered a chair toSit the attendant didn’t want to sanitize the chair that had been used by someone else. No one was there to enforce face covering and it is needless to say that this is unacceptable. I can’t describe my frustration, thinking I am putting my kids and myself at high risk of contamination while I should be relaxing in my vacation.I spent hours of my so called “vacation day” speaking with the Marriott Binvoy customer service who was totally useless, offering me a compensation of 2,000 points instead of helping me finding an alternative accommodation among the 5 different options Marriott has to offer in a radius of 2 km.I am deeply disappointed and also very upset that I had to pay an additional $920 to find an alternative accommodation in the area having to book a last minute stay instead of enjoying a preferred rate I could have got should I had booked a different hotel well in advance as I had booked this disaster hotel.In conclusion if you want to pay for a 5 stars and stay at a motel this is your place. I would strongly recommend not to book this hotel.

It was a very nice family friendly resort. I wish the food was better for the full/half board options. Its like you get better options just paying full price out of pocket. Other than that, its a great option for a family getaway.

Friendly staff. Clean resort. Booked a suite for a family of 4 but was set up for 2. Took a couple of phone calls to get it handled but they did solve it after few hoursAll and all great experience. No hassle for the rest of the stay

The resort stands out with excellent customer service and tons of amenities. There is play area for kids within the facility like other public parks. The pool area (there are multiple pools) are amazing with good vibes all around. The best part of the main pool is the water slides.The beach area has the best views of JBR. The landscaping is beautiful and maintained quite well.We had a quality time in the resort and surely will visit again.All the staffs very friendly and cooperative. The parking management team and security are very motivated and does their job professionally.

Older hotel, but very well maintained, very clean and a great staff. Location is very good in the Dubai Marina Area. The hotel has several restaurants, bars, pools and a private beach area.

Very luxurious hotel located in JBR but I would say this is not located in the center of JBR but it is like a hideaway in a good meaning. You can find high quality restaurants inside and I highly recommend Japanese cuisine Kimuraya situated next to the pool, as being Japanese, I cannot help but being loyal to Japanese food!

Update:- the manager on site (Ahmed) took the time to come and explain / apologise following our review. He was responsive and appreciated the feedback we left.Previous review - which I still think is relevant:- 5 star status is extremely misleading- disappointing service ( especially during check-in and check out). Had one staff during checkout at the desk for a resort this size. We also had to wait for 2+ hours to get our room, even when we arrived during check-in hours- sub par food at restaurants- breakfast experience was appalling - extremely busy and no real focus on maintaining social distancing etc.

Visited with family, nice hotel with good facilities including several restaurants, large pool, kids pool with water slides, tennis courts and private beach. Went during holiday season and the staff was great.Very nice views of JBR and Palm, bonus is to watch the sky divers land

Please avoid... Probably the worst hotel I have stayed in Dubai.. Dated rooms... Not user friendly.. Mattresses are old and have inundationa..... Not value for money... Breakfast choices are limited and taste is > to say nicely > way below average.. Not many veg options... Lucianos has probably the worst Italian food in the world.. My 8 year old son can make better pizzas... Only silver lining is that the staff is courteous... In one of the best cities in the world its very disappointing to choose this hotel...

We were a family of 4, with 2 small kids (2.5y and 10 months). We were welcomed and pleased to get an early check-in. The room was spacious and overall clean. Most of the staff were friendly and gladly entertained our kids so we can enjoy breakfast or dinner. The restaurant had great food and nice atmosphere. The pools and beach were very nice, clean and inviting. The kids area was a blast, the staff there were so friendly and warm. We also got a late checkout and we are happy they could easily accommodate that. We only had one bad experience when trying to get help with the luggages upon checkout and nobody showed up. This would definitely not be a reason not to go back, we would go back for sure. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for families with babies and children . Thank you!

Nice Resort Hotel, nice wide beach! Booked Tower rooms, but I would suggest to book Club rooms, so that you will have some privileges such as access to Club Lounge and Infinity pool. Food was very nice in Lucianos restaurant near main pool. There are few restaurants, such as Japanese Kimura and Olival with mixed Lebanese cuisine!

Great hotel, great pool facilities. Extremely disappointed with the club lounge being closed during my stay, the replacement was not good. No hot snacks, food etc offered. However gym, beach, pool facilities definitely great. Breakfast could be improved compared to other Marriott Bonvoy facilities in Dubai. Room very clean and spacious. Staff service great during COVID. The let down was no pre notice about club lounge closure and average breakfast.

I just completed a 3 day stay at Habtoor. I was so fortunate to have an ocean view room with a small balcony with a perfect view at the 14th. floor. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. The hotel is really classy, and especially the club lounge was fantastic with very attentative staff who always asked if we needed anything. Every evening from 6-8 pm there is comlplementary alcoholic beverages, and quite the variety. Great deal to have lounge access, I must say.My kids enjoyed the wonderfull pool, and the 2 waterslides. Great hotel overall.

We were at the resort for about ten days.Daisy, the concierge and Raneem, the guest relations officer were both incredibly nice and helpful.While its a weird time to travel with the Covid pandemic, we were impressed with how serious the hotel took Covid precautions, including deep cleaning, requiring mask wearing and social distancing.Everyone entering the hotel and swimming pool area had their temperature checked. Guests staying at the hotel were from all over the world, and there was pretty much universal compliance regarding wearing masks and social distancing, including specifically in the elevators.The photos were taken from our hotel balcony.

EDITED (5th Jan 2021): I am editing this review after the Manager (Mr. Ahmed) reached out to us while checking-out and personally apologised for the poor experience, which appears to be largely driven by inefficiencies due to COVID and the hotel running at 100% occupancy.Although this isnt a valid enough reason for poor food quality in Lucianos and Dhiyafa + the general tardiness throughout the resort, its pleasing to see that the front-desk management cares and are keen to promptly act on the feedback theyve received from guests similar to us.--------------2nd Jan 2021Most pathetic experience, by a mile. The lobby during check-in hours is a royal mess with unresponsive staff who appear to have no understanding of what hospitality is all about. Hard to believe this is classed as a 5 star property within the Marriot Bonvoy programme - amenities, food, and overall experience are shouting for a 3 or 4 star rating.Do not get fooled by the Google ratings. Stick with Booking.com ratings.

The hotel and facilities were nice. However, we were conned by their sales team. Wasted our time and told us they would give us a dinner cruise. Sadly it was all a scam and we were refused as we didnt listen to them for long enough. Its a pretentious place and after my experience today, I will steer clear of all associated companies. Never again.

We were disappointed when we entered the hotel. The receptionist was quite blunt when o denied that I dont want to upgrade. He said to is it because it is expensive for you. He exact sentence was is it because you dont want to pay.The lid of the vent fell over me while I was having a shower. I complained so they upgraded me and then experienced changed predominantly due to the roomThe lobby is not Grand at all. It is very normal. They could really do with some work and add G to it.The room on 17th floor is stunning, infact I could easily live here for few days.Olivial restaurant does very nice Lebanese food.Al Dhihaya grand kitchen does amazing breakfastGym is very big, clean and the equipment is great.

Its a nice hotel, has very nice pool better than any other hotel in Dubai. Maintenance is better than before but I think new hires at the reception need more training. Generous in service but dont depend on their shampoo it makes hair very dry. Windows are not clean at all although the view is amazing.

The resort is well located next to the Busy Marina and JBR but has a secluded atmosphere, which is quite nice.However, the amenities felt quite old and tired, especially around the pool (the beach towel had holes in it...) and weren’t on or with the other 5-star hotels around.

The beach isnt that great as it is sandwiched between two clubs competing for who can be louder. The pool is fantastic for kids with their two water slides. Plenty of seating and swimming space around the pool. F&B menu at the pool is ok, but nothing that youll be impressed by

If you love beach and pools in a hot day under nice sunshine, eating international Italian, Japanese and a lot more others, its a nice place for you!

Beautiful resort it was A lot bigger than i thought it would be. And the staff was Amazing, i travel a lot and this is the first time i ever left a review for any hotel or Resort. Everyone was very kind, polite and willing to help. I would definitely stay here again.

Doesnt feel like a proper Marriott. The rooms are average, not as good as a normal Autograph Collection hotel. Service is good but they seem under equipped. We asked for mattress protection for our little one and they failed to provide this - seems a basic thing most hotels would be able to do. The food on site is massively over priced. Lunch for a family of 4 is easily £120. Definitely eat off site if you can. The saving grace is the pool complex and the beach, everything else is disappointing. Oh and dont expect any special service if you have Marriott status.

Huge selection of fruit and pastries etc at breakfast. Everything about this was ok highly recommendable. The hotel is more like an office building with slight narrow and winding corridors. Close to marina mall and Jumeirah Beach residence can be reached by walk, taxi and close to the beach by taxi. Not walking distance. Room are contemporary with most amenities in the room

Very nice hotel in a nice environment!The Hotel has it‘s own beachsection and is close to the Marina. Big rooms, clean. The Breakfast was not excellent but still good. The employees are very friendly especially at the reception hall. The hotel is highly recommended for families.Book and enjoy!
