Warm welcome! I arrived at 4am and found Danny the owner his wife and Hussain waiting for me.My bed was ready and clean and a lovely small basket of bathroom anameties.the hostel is Budget friendly as you can freely use the kitchen to cook. and is in a convenient location I truly enjoyed my stay here as everyone is super helpful Hussain was very informative efficient and willing to show guest around when hes available.Thank you all

Budget accommodation for singles

Its a long review. So, please read till the end for your betterment. You have every detail thats wanted.I stayed at 301 & 302 flats during my stay. Each of these flats (301 & 302) have 3 to 4 bedrooms. And each bedroom have 3-4 bunkbeds. (1 bunkbed has 2 beds, 1 lower & 1 upper). So, in total, there were 6 to 8 beds, which they call it bedspaces here. Its a SHARING ACCOMMODATION. Certain rooms have washroom attached, while certain have a balcony attached.For pictures, you can visit hostelworld.com or booking.com. You can also pre-book a bedspace there (although i havent tried it). I directly visited there to check for the rooms & choose my bed. So, u have an option to do that. Room prices are also negotiable on a direct visit.Pros: My overall experience was just ok. Once in 2 days, the housekeeping person used to come & clean the washrooms, bedrooms.Towel, blanket, bedsheet & pillow are provided. Beds are comfortable.The locality of this hotel is good. You have a supermarket called new era beside the apartment entrance, where u get your daily needs. Metro station is at a walkable distance (Al Rigga metro station). Food restaurants like Tharavad, landmark & other shopping outlets like Al Madina, Gift shop 1-20 dirham, etc. are few yards away.Cons: Use of kitchen & washing machine are not included in the rent. But, you may have a chance to convince the owner.Since, its a sharing accommodation, you never know the type of your roommates till the time you arrive. Sometimes, the room atmosphere may be noisy. Sometimes, it may be quite. At times, there may be a group of people from a single country who choose a room & may chit-chat for the whole night causing disturbance. If youre a solo traveler & one among them in the same room, you may feel lonely & quite disturbing. Youve to be wise in choosing your room.Since its said that you can choose your own bed, you can go for a room which has less people. If youre a very sociable person, then you shouldnt have a problem. !!ALERT:Earlier i had said that, we can choose our bedspace. But then, we dont get to use the same bedspace till the last day we stay there. I stayed there for about a month & my bedspace was changed too frequently owing different reasons (mainly for upcoming tourists who come in groups).Secondly, the room-boy (who is a Bangladeshi) is a bit lethargic to do his own work. Do not develop friendship with him, even-though he seems to behave well at the time of booking.But, later on, he does not help you when needed & he himself complains about the amount of work given to him by the owner (He just exaggerates a lot as he often forgets that hes a ROOMBOY & hes meant to do the work!).Its not only for this, but, under various circumstances, ive noticed some annoying behaviors of him. So, BEWARE!Thirdly, the wife of owner seems to rip your peace at times (although shes never directly involved in collecting rent, but rigid in person).

Con: Photos on the website are not what is saw in reality. The apartment was dirty, dust and filth everywhere , lots of insects were walking around everywhere. The furniture was not good en dirty. Pro: The personel was friendly, the hotel is nearby metro ,store just around the corner.

Its location is excellent in a lively and active neighborhood, next to the hotel, all services, a grocery, a laundry, restaurants, various distinctive shops, a large mall named Al-Ghurair, and a metro station very very close to the hotel.The hotel internally is large, and each apartment has two bedrooms, a hall, and a kitchen

I booked for a week and when I arrived I was surprised by the inconvenience to the families. The sounds of the rooms are annoying and the pictures are 100% unrealistic and the rooms are very small, smelly and clean, and the furniture is very neglected and smells unpleasant.
