Excellent courteous professional and helping staff. Very clean and maintained room. Very nice location for we Indians as a number of restaurants serving Indian food are nearby. Close to gold and spice souks. Breakfast was very good and the personnel serving in the restaurant were wonderful. I was surprised with extreme pleasure when they celebrated my birthday at the restaurant.Finally the person who used to clean my room no 270 everyday was just excellent and I am really sorry that I could not meet him on my check out date. God bless him.I strongly recommend all Indian and it’s neighbouring countries visitors to Dubai to stay at Gateway hitel.

It was good. Clean room. Customer service was good. We had a great breakfast from there. But the only problem was that, the hot water was not coming from the tap. in the morning we need to take bath with that cold water.... But i think now they have made everything well.....

Decent place at decent cost. The breakfast spread was broad but just functional in taste. We had to skip it even after having already paid for it during booking.

It is a great place to stay if you want comfort and save some money! Probably like any other place, here you get the Arabic hospitality. The room was spacious enough and clean, with a large bed. The every day water bottle was a nice gesture. The room is well equipped with a minibar, AC, and a tea maker. We only had breakfast there which was very diverse. I really appreciated the mixture of European, Arabic, Indian and Chinese flavors, except for the coffee which was only nesscafe.The hotel is a good choice if you plan on taking the bus around Dubai as it is only 7 minutes from the main bus station.

Perfect, comfortable place to stay. parking and other facilities available in price - swimming pool, gym, waking up. taxi and transfer to buy. helpful and kind personel. Tasty, fresh breakfast with big choice. guests from all over the world (books on swimming pool in all possible languages). good location near market and old town. good metro connection.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Very clean. In your room you have a mini fridge which is ideal to keep you drinks cool. Breakfast included in the price. Its in a busy part of Bur Dubai.

The Staff are very friendly and helpful, the house keeping is good. The food is okay, overall I had a very nice stay. They have a gym and that for me is just Awesome.

The hotel itself was clean but the surranding enviroment was not building confident.I do not offer a half-board service because the choices was poorly and so as the taste. Every restaurant or kebab in the vicinity are chape and tastefull. The roofpool is ok. The public transport is relable distance.

My daughters 30 today and we got a surprise knock on the door and the lovely staff had balloons and a card. This hotel is fantastic. I urge anyone to book your vacation here.

Great experience there, price is good and their breakfast is also kind of good except the coffee part. I dont know why they put that cheap quality coffee there. Also they force you to check out by 12:00. Other places you can check out till 14:00. Thats what I didnt like there. Also the room arent sound proof. You can hear all the walking sounds from the corridor, even smallest sounds are not getting blocked. I hope they take care of it.

Located in prime location of Bur Dubai. Good for those who wish to buy electronic devices because the hotel building itself has so many computer shops. They have swimming pool, Gym and good customer service. They also have business centers and conference halls which are good for business meetings. Recommend it.

I love that its in a more local district. Going out and walking makes you feel like youre back home and takes away from any home sickness. Theres also a mall near by, walking distance actually and plenty of local food shops to get something to eat.I recommend walking around in the evening and checking out the neighbourhood to get an idea of spots youd want to try out. Especially on your first night so you have a feel of where you are.The rooms are beautiful and air conditioned, staff is very warm, friendly and international. Met several Kenyans which was nice. Rooftop pool- very very relaxing at sunset especially.Added activity: Check out BOUNCE DUBAI.

So the staff is very nice and cooperative. Interior of hotel itself is great. Breakfast is nice as well. The only downside is that it is located in bur dubai. People keep on starring at you. Some even try to sell mobile phones and other things

Hotel is the best choice for price. Location is not too good as it is at Computer city but not to bad as it is not far from metro and in middle of city center and airport.Staffs at reception are not nice but bell man are super nice. They are helpful for showing you the roads and calling taxi for you.Housekeeping is nice too

Awesome hotel. location is good but hotel staff and Underground parking staff has not coordination they are fighting each other. if you are vising your friend or relatives in this hotel you must have to keep this in mind that they are not giving free parking to visitors. and this things they will tell you rudely. not good impression. hotel is good . only this is minus point.

The hotel is located in a very busy part of the city. Difficult for collection by car in middle of the day. Hotel is nice. Very Indian feel. Staff on reception super helpful and congratulate. Rooms adequate. Breakfast adequate. From a value you point of view is good. Considering the prices anywhere in Dubai are plus 20% taxes this hotel is good value. Surrounded by many small shops and restaurants. You could be in Delhi and not Dubai. Recommend if price budget trip.

Good place to have a pleasant stay in low cost with family.Distance from hotel to nearest metro is around 10 mins of walk which might be difficulty for the old age people. Bur Dubai market is near by so that you can buy electronics cheaply. Room service is good. Hotel is easy access to anyone at anytime.

Budget wise is excellant if you want to go all over dubi .Not a fancy breakfast just basic. The rooms are super clean and staff are helpful. Good parking place. Near shops and restaurants.Not very relaxing unless you enjoy the pool on the roof.It was a good experience.

Lovely hotel to stay at. Large room with excellent service. Friendly staff who were always accommodating and willing to help. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a large selection of food. Room service was very good and reasonable. Taxi just outside hotel with the dhow just a few minutes walk from hotel to get to the spice and gold souk. Only one dhiram. Very convenient. Altogether a memorable experience. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was lovely to stay in. It was clean, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included in our stay which was a great idea not having to worry about where we are going to eat in the mornings. Its a excellent hotel the triple rooms are a very good size. I stayed five nights with my husband in the hotel, our 25th wedding anniversary.We were greeted by two glasses of juice when we arrived before checking in, love it, great customer service by all, especially house keeping, 👍There are many shopping and restaurants in the neighborhood.The food at breakfast was great, lots of choices and chief omelet was delicious.Very clean rooms, hotel complement water, tea, coffee, fridge, shampoo, soap, blown dryer, mirror for make up, great I love it. It was an excellent experience to stay here. From reception to sign out every body was very cooperative and well mannered. Break fast was excellent. if they reduce the price of lunch and dinner people will like to enjoy here also.

As it was hot outside it was really tempting to stay inside in a well-cooled room but Dubai is great, you can pull out of the sleeve your bargauning skills at the Bur Dubai market (and it is a real fun), have a lovely dinner on the boat sailing the Dubai creek (not so expensive even), local Dubai creek transport by small boats loaded with 20 other people (i would never say it is possible to reach the other coast) :D well, always smiling and welcoming people... You just need to have an open mind and accept the culture in order to blend and enjoy in the full depth. ”

Food is ok. We had only breakfast included. Price/quality rapport very good. Rooms are clean spacious enough, cleaning services are good. Staff is nice and very polite. Overall a good place for hollidays accomodation.

I have been there many times. Location is good. Hotel is neat & clean having all type of facilities. I like breakfast some more items should be include in menu. Sometimes there are too many people at breakfast so need more furniture. Rooms are good wide and well equiped. Gym is small but good. Staff is very co-operative. Escalators are fine too. i will recommend this hotel.

Staff was friendly, food was good, location was great however the downside of our ten day stay at the hotel has got to be the hot water and the fact this was never resolved. We spoke to hotel staff numerous times about the fact we had boiling water through our shower which was making it impossible for us to have a shower however this issue was never resolved, spoke to over guests who were staying at the hotel and did not have the same problem however we were fobbed off by the hotel staff by them saying its because of the weather the water is that hot. This was the downside to our stay as we were unable to shower in our rooms which shouldnt be the case when your there for ten days.

Rooms are ok, there is enough space. Bath and furnitures are good. Breakfast is good, you can find something you can eat. I recommend it based on price/performance.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is located close to 2 metro stations and a bus station barely 10 minutes walk either way depending on your pace. The staff at the desks downstairs are very friendly and ready to answer all questions and help as needed. Housekeeping staff especially M Zubair did a great job keeping my room clean and supplying fresh towels and sheets when needed. Breakfast and dinner had a variety to cater for people from different parts of the world. Staff at the restaurant are always smiling and helpful. I recommend Gateway Hotel if youre looking for the ideal place to stay in Bur Dubai.

Simple no frills place in Bur Dubai. Rooms are reasonably spacious but a bit dark and the hot water in the shower is only mildly hot but liveable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Note that you do not have an ironing board and iron in the rooms. You have to call for it. They quickly deliver it though.. The breakfast buffet is ok.. They appear to have dispensed with their egg counter which in my opinion was the best part of the breakfast. The location of the hotel is great for Indian food. Lots of options...South Indian, North Indian etc...This hotel is value for money off season times

Nice , peaceful. And very central. Went the coz of my uncle (Rifat Abbas Mirza )working there but find it nice and now I am staying there when ever in Dubai.

Located in old Dubai, its far from most Dubai activity, you need a car in most cases, hotel lobby is clean however it needs lots of improvement, breakfast is ok, it has some good food selection however it also needs improvement special at the omelette counter where I have waited close to 45 min to get my eggs, our room 136 is very big and clean most important, also it needs improvement in carpet as they where dirty and needs replacing, lights needs improvement also, bed is comfortable, sheets and pillows are clean, friendly stuff, free parking, it can get noisy on the weekend, price wise !! Expensive for its location you can find a better deal for what you would pay here. Well, I would recommend it and not in the same time.

1st time I have ever experienced a hotel serve breakfast and dinner as complimentary. Cleaning of the room is relatively late, but the staffs can b very accommodating.

Although very basic but still enjoyable. Being in city means very noisy but great facilities.

Just got back from a 2 weeks stay at gateway hotel with hubby and our 21 month old. Absolutely loved it. Rooms are clean and the food at the restaurant is good. What we most appreciated though is how kind and friendly the staff is. Front of the house and back of the house. This was our first trip abroad with our little one and every request we made concerning her was met with a smile. The kitchen staff even pureed her food on the days she just didnt feel like chewing lol and made it as tasty as anything we wouldve prepared at home. Well never be able to say thank you enough for making our stay so enjoyable and for all the efforts put into making our daughter feel so comfortable that it was truly our home away from home. Thank you to all!

The rooms are good. But be careful when u book online. You dont get what you see online. Theyll upgrade your booking to a lower room! If you have a broken AC or any other service issues, you can be sure that itll not be addressed during your stay at the place. We had a broken AC and missing floor towel, which were never serviced. However, their breakfast is very good! Youll have something to suit your taste for sure.

Great place to stay. The rooms are really nice. Pool gym good breakfast with all the bells and whistles. Just that smell in the lobby is a bit on the nose.

The service is decent compared to the prices. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious. There is also underground parking available for the hotel residents.

Room was good enough for 3 people. Breakfast had variety as compared to others. Services really have to be worked upon. I lost medicines after room service and on checking with hotel, they said they dont know. I asked for help in arranging the medicine for me as I didnt know the area much, they denied. So services, Nah. Room, good. Food, just fine.

Could use a spruce up but the staff are top notch.

The hotel is located in the heart of Bur Dubai and its good and bad both. Good as its easily accessible by public transport by Metro and bus. Bad for not being on Main Street and in a narrow lane making it look little downgraded hotel. Inside its good but I wish they had a better entrance. The rooms are fine for the price they offer but again none of the rooms offer good outside view. Its surrounded by other buildings and what you can see outside is windows and walls of other neighbouring building. The rooms are ok but in photos they look much better than actual so sometimes you feel little disappointed after you actually enter hotel.
