The stay was really good , from reception till check in on to the room, after booking only Ive seen all the negative reviews, and was little worried, how things would go. Though Ive booked via make my trip and there were no refunds. But I was so relaxed and enjoyed the stay, even their room service was good, neat and clear rooms. Review is based on my one night stay.

Customer service is non-existence, professionalism = 0. called over 20 times on and none is picking up from booking/Sales department.. and the personnel who pick up the phone are beyond rude when you call twice asking to be transferred to the people who never pick up (Booking/reservation) room cleanliness is questionable. TOTALLY recommend staying in any other hotel around it... I really do not understand how they got to be a 5 star hotel!!

We stayed for 4 days at end of August 2021. Staff was very friendly. Food was good. Non-smoking room still smells of cigarettes. Otherwise overall pleasant experience.

I have very bad experience I believe that is 5stars hotel but the service only for 1 star you need to call 3 or 4 times to get the answer and they will not serve. you room is empty only one tower I ask to give me more iget answer from the resection that I pay cheep price .I ask them 3 times to bring me the hot water to make food for my small baby no any response even the refrigerator it was not working 😕so this my first time and last time I will been here.

I loved this place ♥️ everything and everyone was good and nice. Loved the atmosphere. We spent 9 nights there and I fell in love with the whole place. The thing I miss the most is their Linguini Pasta ♥️😋 (must eat). Celebrated our Wedding Anniversary there and everything was amazing, food, decor and environment at the pool 🥰 . Going to stay there only during next visit ♥️

A very nice, cozy place, u feel home. Staff are so friendly. What I liked most, its outside of the crowed area, but so close to reach the main street a 5 mins walk, where u can find anything u need.

I have been coming to Carlton Palace Hotel for over 10 years now, and the service here has always been impeccable. The staff working from the management level across to the cleaning staff has always been top of the line, they carry a very high standard and will stop at nothing to ensure your comfort. I highly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Dubai.

A very decent place to stay with great ambience and friendly staff. Rooms are well maintain. Hotel belongs to reputed chain Carlton. So the standards are maintained well. The atrium design requires special mention. Of 14 or so floors, every third floor is made an atrium, which makes it an interesting site to see. Room facilities are good and parking is available. Make a visit even if youre a solo or family visitor.

Ambiance and fragrance of lobby very good. Many restaurants nearby. Rooftop swimming pool and Gym also good. Room size was smaller and it was cold even after switching off the AC in winter and less lights..No bath robes just towels..

The hotel and room is good, specious room and neat and clean , but the attitude the reception especially the Arab lady so rude .. I ask her for water and coffee sachets she refuse to give and then she said if want stay u can stay here or vacat the room, next morning I ask her dental kit and iron box she said she will send to my room and I waited more than an hour to get ..Then I go and buy myself from the shop and do my ironing from outside laundry ..when the time of checkout I ask her why they couldnt provide me she said thats not her mistake and its ok for us if u dont come back to the hotel again

The bath was not ready and iI have to call reception 3 times in 4 hours to bring me towels and tissues. The management ignored my demands which I stated in the form of booking, one week before arrival

This hotel service just so so , this duty manager mohsad shiyan couldn’t answer our Agoda booking questions and tell us wait whole night until Agoda replied us. Agoda show 4 person could live on 2 king bad , he said not his mistake , answer rudely let me wait whole night. FYI U GUYS

I booked this hotel from agoda and was there from may 15 to may 27 room 821, and long story short it was fabulous. One of the best hotel staying experiences of me and my spouse.All of my comments in the booking order were fulfilled.Every day room cleaningAffordable priceQuiet and really big roomsThe hotel design is classic and wooden.Near to the metro, boat and bus stations and city center.For passengers like me the pcr testing center is just beside the hotel and it is time-saving.Just loved the life guard boy at the roof pool he was so cute and friendly!Just one suggestion: Please put slippers at bathrooms!One negative point: One heiniken beer bottle costed 37 AEDs at pool bar which is really expensive.Overall loved it and asking me would I stay there again? Sure!

Nice Ambiance considering the hotel was built few decades ago. UNBEATABLE price we got for a 5 star hotel. Clean rooms, non smoking, no Noise. Good location for business people who wish to shop from the old souks of Deira Dubai. Many restaurants nearby with Multi cuisine for all people around the globe. Hotel parking for guests, RTA paid parking right outside the hotel for visitors. Deira City Center, Clock Tower, Ghurair mall, Baniyas Square, Naif maket, Corniche, Gold market, Airport terminals 1, 2, 3...etc all in close vicinity. Nice swimming pool on the rooftop.

The recommendations and ratings are quite misleading.This could be a nice hotel if you’re talking about a 3-star. Not up to 5-stars hotel standard. Very damp and smelling moldy.Not even talking about the weird wiring situation...

We didnt receive the best service, we had to wait for half an hour for the check in to be done i think the hotel lacked staff at the Reception. The washroom sink used to get clogged after one use and the hotel seemed a bit old.

The review is based on stay during my Eid Holidays. The infrastructure and ambiance of the hotel was very nice, however it lacks periodic maintanence eg: carpets.A little politeness from the reception lady is expected which may be lacked due to the ignorance created on a long term.After we checked in it was found that the toilet door was not closing and requested for a room change within 5 mins of room entry. However, the receptionist wants us to stay in the same room and send the maintenance team which resulted in some hinges removal and hammering. We were forced to call the cleartrip booking agency to get a room change.It was very evident that the quality is not up to the mark considering the Covid 19 precautions. I never recommend this hotel to anybody.

Am writing to tell about a wonderful experience that my family and I had while staying at Carlton Palace Hotel.Such a relaxed and clean hotel, we stay here for almost a week with my family. The room was both spacious and well maintained.We particularly liked the marble staircase, glass lifts were stunning And also the roof top bar and pool the best thing. The hotel is well situated for the Metro stations nearby.There is a good vibe to this place with a really good and friendly service, we are extremely grateful to all your Staffs especially Duty Manager Mr. Shiyam who really courteous and attentive to all our needs and the guest relation Fatima, bellman Sendrick.Also The Food and Beverage team Vincent and Eshwar who really took good care of our food especially sons meal.Also thankful to Housekeeping staffs who are very attentive on every single request. Marwin, Madu and Erna.And engineer Ranjit who visit us to fix the TV channelswe have received a truly special treatment that went way beyond our expectations.Though hotel was following covid-19 guidelines, it was not a trouble for us and we enjoyed our stay to best.We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the futureThank you and I really recommend this place.RegardsLuxminath Suriyakumaran

I barely give it 3 stars, rooms are not as good and clean as I thought, and bathroom is small and fixer upper.

Dont go there. It is a trap. I left without sleeping there. Everything is old. The mattress has smelling so bad. I could never sleep there. No towels. Check in needs 30min. Swimming pool is old. Sunbeds are also very old and smeelling bad. Swimming pool is also closed after 2pm. Just the entrance is nice.

The staff response was very slow, towels were not available in washroom, only one torned towel was provided after about an hour, even asked several time. Washroom fittings were not cleaned and way too old

We visited this place for my cousins first holy communion party.Loved the place, they adhered to the Norms of COVID.Minimum people, sanitizer at every table, well distanced tables, mask at all times near buffet just 5 members at a time.It’s an amazing place to host parties.Only disadvantage there is no valet parking and finding a parking getting difficult during rush hours.I’ll give 5 stars since this place is well managed and beautifully designed.

Bad room service experience and gym experience. I asked for Plates and called thrice and received it in 40 minutes. Asked for a whole day for towels and mats. Terrible.

The Sheikh should be disappointed with this place. He opened it after all, but it is no longer at a high standard. My experience:- ordering anything takes at least 30 minutes to reach the room. Water bottles, cups, towels, you name it. They must fill the bottles themselves from the sea.- when we got to our room, there were no towels or other necessities.- there’s a piano in the lobby, but it is locked and they lost the key years ago.- no pool- “5 stars” actually means 2.9 stars- Quiba arrows that point different directions- a mysteriously stained or moldy tv stand- a tv stolen from a dumpster in the 80’s- carpet that looks like it is from a smoky casino floor- next door to 4 “spa” places (all in a row) that charge like $100usd for a simple “massage”... a normal ”massage”...?- closest food place is at least 2 blocks away. And the Iranian restaurant is really rude, so actually go 4 blocks.- the bathroom floor floods worse than India in the monsoon season

Had an amazing stay there. They helped us getting situated in our rooms a bit sooner. We were soo tired when we came into the Hotel and they helped us with everything.Covid standard were being maintained everyone was wearing a mask and sanitizers were everywhere.The room was well maintained. They did clean our room on the 3rd day of the stay. Really thankful for that.The staff was polite and professional. Person at the gate helped us with our lugguage and made us feel welcome when ever we came back.The lobby looked really beautiful and the glass lift views were great as well. They have made lobbies between floors just to sit and relax near a fountain and plants.Will definately consider them again for sure!.

Worst hotel if youre looking for a nice relaxing stay. The walls in the rooms are made of paper, you hear EVERYTHING happening in the room next door (theres literally a door inside the room leading to other peoples rooms, so no security, anybody can open that door and fin themselves intruding into others).I had the misfortune of being next to a family who spent the whole time shouting and screaming from early in the day until 2 am. I would only rest or sleep when they sleep. I told security and the hotel team, they did nothing and offered no room change. I hated my stay.

The hotel was pretty good. Its old they had few eminent personalities as their visitors in 80-90sThey upgraded my room from deluxe to executive.

Accomodating staffs

Very short drive from the airport. Not more than 15 minutes. First thing that will catch your eye is the beautiful foyer. Rooms are not the most modern but quite good. The breakfast service and staff are excellent. Would definitely come back for another stay.

This hotel cant be 5 stars, the rooms smells very very bad, the AC is very noisy, the toilet is very very old style, non even towels there, you have to call the service to get towels!!Not recommended at all, non even for free.

Wonderful stay for three nights. A buffet breakfast every bit as good as the Marriott hotels. Nothing is ever too much for the staff...always helpful. I dont like the behavior of the lady in the reception Im aware that its not free whats on the mini bar. She says it not free whats on mini bar and she add that is expensive even though am not asking. I asked if there is any bar she says drinks are expensive. I feel its kinda racist. She should have to say we are having a mini bar in the room not what inside the mini bar is not free and its expensive!. She probably think I cannot afford. Everything is nice in your hotel expect for her.

Good hotel. A bit old, but the rooms are nice and the staff are kind fast and helpful.I was disappointed in terms of the toilets as water was leaking everywhere.Beds are comfy and the TV doesn’t have many channels unfortunately.I enjoyed my stay but this place will never be my first choice and I wouldn’t recommend it as a first choice to anyone neither.

We arrived about 10AM and the hotel managed to give us the room immediately. We were exhausted after a long flight, so we were very happy to get the room early with no extra cost.The staff was nice and very helpful and room was clean.The location is good, just a few minutes ride from the airport. There are many restaurants around the hotel as well.

Lived the horrible 3 days experience with multiple abusive receptionists. Staying there completely ruined my holiday.After a long flight from Australia heading to UK, I was expecting to have some comfort for three days, it turned out a nightmare.Firstly they gave me a very dirty room with very poor facilities, I had to fight for changing my room to a slightly different room with different issues .Never trust their receptionist, why? Accidentally I realized that the hotel double charged me with Payments. Despite my efforts to go down to make sure they cancelled it. Another abusive & horrible attitude was , in spite of my explanation, their receptionist, he said it is Ok but still charged me when I left the hotel.Facilities out of date, examples: carpets old, dirty and sticky smells, really annoying that I was not able to communicate with hotel & had to go down to reception as the phone in my room was broken.Lack of professionalism: Poor ethic and communication skills of receptionist,While I needed sleep kept waking up by load staff chat.It was an unpleasant experience. I never go there again.
