I dont normally post reviews online but i was feeling under the weather due to the long travel and long layovers going to Dubai and all I needed is a relaxing time in a hotel. Thankfully, Valerie was there to assist me with the things i need during my stay. It was a very pleasant experience.

The hotel is modern and clean. Its situated beside the Ibn Battuta Mall and right across the Metro which makes shopping and traveling very convenient.The female receptionists were very nice and friendly. We had a room with a nice view of the pool. Our room was well-kept and spotless. Thank you to some of the wonderful and hard-working members of the Housekeeping team like Naveen, Samba, and Padam, who always did a good job with the rooms. Kudos also to Peter and Valerie who were very accommodating to our requests. Overall, a great stay at Avani.

I rated great because I like the place its fantastic. Their staff are kind and so accommodating, the room are so comfortable and very clean. I feel like I wanna live here, I feel like a queen. I would gladly recommend it to all my friends. Thank you and good job.

Great hotel location, right next to the mall. Hotel has an excellent size pool, weekend was busy with brunch and DJ music. Thursday night had this Latino music which was just fantastic. They have restrictions on pool timings for children, but mostly restricted late evening - which is understandable once you see the pool parties! Staff are helpful and and kids meals where cheap compared to other hotels.

Worth visiting, nice ambiance, swimming pool is awesome and the Latino night. Neat and clean room and last but not least their staff, very helpful. Mr. Sushil made sure our weekend spent well.

We stayed 9 days at the Avani IBN Battuta Hotel in Dubai. Including HALF BOARD.Positive:The staff are all very nice, courteous and friendly. The free shuttle bus to Riva Beach that you can use every day is really great. Downtown Dubai can be reached within 30 minutes either by metro or Careem taxi for little money.Negative:Breakfast and dinner are very disappointing. Little choice, little variation every day. Sometimes a 3-course menu which was relatively tasty and then suddenly there was a buffet again which was really out of proportion to the menu. Unfortunately everything is cold too. Dessert was always fruit. No choice as with the menu. We didnt understand at all why there was a full menu twice with a delicious starter, main course, dessert to choose from and on the other days suddenly the disappointingly small buffet.Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it.Conclusion: Nice hotel, friendly staff but unfortunately a bit too far away from Dubai City and unfortunately no satisfactory food.

This hotel is new, modern, clean and comfortable and has a very casual laid back feel to it.Friendly staff everywhere always willing to help.The room was what we expected with a comfy bed and sofa, good size TV and a mini fridge. Toilet was comfortable and not cramped. The shower area had a small tub which was perfect

Stayed in Avani in 2020.Late post but really one of the most memorable experiences of a resort.Breakfast buffet was among the best I have ever had.

Friendly and helpful staff, easy walking distance from the metro station. The room was nice and clean and bed was comfortable. Shoutout to Samiula who keeps our room tidy and to the lady behind the phone Val for being so accommodating on all our needs. Would recommend 10/10

Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful many thanks to Mr.drown and santosh. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The food was good. I, especially, enjoyed the view of the sunset

I stayed in this hotel for a whole week, and I rate it 2 stars. I will happily go into details as to why I rated this hotel.1- ROOM: Was ok, not spacious enough but clean and house keeping was constantly there to provide complimentary water. However, the room was not very living-friendly, (you can’t turn on/off the lights for bathroom or changing room except from the main entrance). I had problems with the AC though out my stay and it was fixed only the night of my check-out.2- Food/Menu/Breakfast Buffet: Less than average, same menu for the buffet everyday and not many options, the taste was not that good to be honest. I stuck to coffee and a few options the whole week.3- Location: OK, but definitely far from all the touristy places in dubai, so if you stay here you’ll be spending at least 150/200 AED on transportation.4- Accessibility: HORRIBLE! The cards for the room stopped working at least twice a day and I had to go to front desk to reprogram them AT LEAST twice a day (not exaggerating).5- Staff: The staff were friendly overall throughout my stay so thanks to them for their efforts.6- Overall: No complaints, but definitely will not be staying here again just because of my personal experience with other hotels in the area.

Noisy too noisy..The sound from the bar is heard throughout the hotel. Till 3 AM u cant sleep. Worst ever hotel iv stayed. It should be named Avaani bar rather than Avaani hotel.

This is only for the BAR:Overall the bar if fine to hangout with friends! In the pool or outside. But the service is very slow also during summer, it is hard to sit outside to enjoy the music as no Fan/shade available.

Separate bathroom with rain-shower and separate toilet room.Nice, thick, heavy curtains, so, daylight doesnt disturb a a guest.

To someone who consider hotel for empathy during tough times- this is not the right choice.My background- I am Property Manager and a travelling butler, stay in 3-5 star hotel for almost 200 days in a yearI stayed in this hotel from 03rd August to 20th August 2021. Everything was fine I won’t go into details of everything. However on 10th August, 2021 while working out on the hotel Gym I used the fresh towel and got an allergy which spread into my body within minutes to this situation the hotel responded so poorly (one of the worst hotel experiences of mine), I called the front desk and explained the situation instead of extending help they were trying to justify that nothing is wrong with the hotel towels rather it might a food allergy (my mind-in the gym 😂 while working out), I called my Chauffeur asked him to take me the doc and I got a shot of antiallergic and a steroid. When I was back I told hotel duty manager at-least take care of the hospital bill because this is something you should be doing without asking but they were like he will convey to the management. Next morning other duty manager turns up and says management says they won’t be able to take care of the bill.So here is the what I think- Hotels prefers the guest who create nuisance in the property but the guest who lives peacefully and if something happens to be wrong they even handle themselves but expects hotel at-least to accept their mistake and reimburse the money which is because of hotel negligence, hotel management will shush 🤫 them …. Trust me there are better hotels in Dubai. Pick your hotel wisely

We were looking for an affordable yet modern hotel to spend a night in Dubai and happened upon Avani ibn Battuta.The price included one night with breakfast included.This hotel is new, modern, clean and comfortable and has a very casual laid back feel to it.Friendly staff everywhere always willing to help.The room was what we expected with a comfy bed and sofa, good size TV and a mini fridge. Toilet was comfortable and not cramped. The shower area had a small tub which was perfect for bathing the kids. The shower could do with some more water pressure but thats just being nit picky.Breakfast was a smaller selection than what we found at other hotels but everything was super fresh and tasty. The breakfast area was beautiful, it overlooks the pool and lounging area with artificial grass in the outdoor seating section.Its location is not perfect because Ibn Battuta is a bit far out from everything in Dubai but its not a problem as there is a metro station right outside.To summarise, we had a lovely stay at Avani and will definitely be back! Well done to the management and staff 👌👌👌👌👌

Surprisingly, this is a really nice hotel. It’s small but clean and the rooms are decent. The rooms have unique design especially how they come up with the washroom/shower inside the bedroom. It’s so cool. The people /staff are also friendly and the cost of staying per night is affordable.This is also right next to IBN Battuta Mall, so you won’t get bored as you can easily go out and explore the mall. If your want to go to other places in Dubai, the IBN Battuta metro station is just across the road. Travelling is so easy.The only disadvantage I guess is it’s location as it is far from the Centre if Dubai. It is the exact opposite of the airport. Almost near the last station of the Red line. Nevertheless, the place is so good, and there are other tourist attractions nearby. (Marina, Bluewaters, Dubai Parks, IKEA, JBR, etc)

The first issue was that we arrived early because we wanted to be there before 2 p.m., and there was a long queue at reception. For my daughters birthday, we booked one regular room and one suite, and we specifically requested adjoining rooms. We had to wait nearly two hours to enter the rooms because they were not yet tidy. For our long wait, the Manager apologized and offered us free breakfast. We decided to let it go.The second issue was When we are swimming in the pool, the guards rudely inform us that we are not permitted to wear a T-shirt while swimming. We let it pass again because it is a policy that we are familiar with.The third issue was the most serious; once again, the guards obnoxiously approached us, telling us that my daughter should not be at the grown-ups pool and should instead go to the childrens pool. We are extremely dissatisfied with the guards treatment of us. Because of how they behaved toward us, my daughter was terrified and crying. I protested why we are the only ones being told to stay away from the adult pool considering there was another baby and Daddy who enjoyed bathing as much as we do are not being instructed to settle out just because they are not Asian or Filipino like we are. So unjust and racist. Its traumatic for my 8-year-old daughter, who just wanted to enjoy her special day.The staffs are all excellent; it was only the Guards who were so ruthless!Kudos to Missipis Filipino Receptionist for her graciousness, as well as the Manager for her professional handling of the situation. Still, we are traumatised by the confrontation.

Overall, I had a great experience with the Avani Ibn Batutta; staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a birthday weekend. I have stayed almost one year in this amazing hotel and would highly recommend it. Although it’s a 4-star hotel, the service and amenities are definitely on a 5-star level. Since I have stayed for such a long time in this hotel, I would like to give my detailed feedback on several services and amenities in the hotel.Reception:The reception is very welcoming and friendly. I remember the first time I have entered the hotel and the receptionist Hunain has shown and introduced me to all the hotel amenities as well as the rooms and suites. It really shows that the hotel don’t just see you as a customer but rather as a real guest whom they are welcoming. The staff really takes time for their guests and are there for any additional requests and needs. Besides that and actually taken for granted, they greet and welcome each and every guest entering the hotel.Restaurant/ Missippi Bar:The restaurant offers a huge breakfast. Besides the fruits, cereals and various kinds of breads, they also have a live-cooking service in which you get your eggs in your personal preferred style (Omelet, scrambled eggs, sunny side up, etc.). During Covid-times, they also made sure that social distance is maintained and only a limited number of guests are entering the buffet.Their food menu offers several cuisines and dishes such as Pizza, Burgers, Salads, Sushi or Sandwiches. You will also have daily offers such as ladynights/days, brunches or special offers on beverages. Daniel and Marry from the bar were always very kind and made us aware of the current offers and deals besides making sure to take our orders and deliver our drinks and food on time.Room Service:The room service is really excellent. Every room has a display in which you can set your status either to DND (Do-Not-Disturb) or cleaning-service. This gives you the possibility to request for the cleaning service whenever it is most convenient for you (And you can sleep in as late as you wish).Every room gets complimentary shampoo and moisturizing crème which is always filled up by the room service. Besides that, 2 bottles of complimentary water are given as well. If you kindly ask for one or two bottles more, these will also be given by the room service which is very nice. Tea, coffe and milk are also supplied on complimentary base. Moreover, two bathrobes are given to every room which are exchanged every day. Within my 11 months stays, the room service hardly never forget even one of the elements such as complimentary water, towels, shampoo, or the like. This shows how attentive the staff is. Some employees even take the extra mile and actually tidied up my room (arrange shoes which are all over the room or sorting out utensils in the bathroom). Big thanks to Ghanashyam who was really attentive when it came to the cleanliness of my room!GymThe gym is maybe a bit small but definitely sufficient to do your daily workouts. Here the hotel pays attention on quality rather than quantity: Even though the gym could be bigger, the equipment is in brandnew condition and well maintained. There is a water dispenser available which assures you to keep hydrated during workout.They also offered some Yoga-sessions during some months (Maybe they still do it, I am not too sure about this), which is very nice.LocationThe location of the hotel itself is very convenient. The metro is just opposite and next to the hotel is the Ibn Battuta mall. With the Expo happening from October 2021 onwards, the Expo site is just a 10min drive away.All in all I can really say that this hotel is amazing. I initially planned to stay only one or two weeks but due to the superb and excellent service I decided to further extend my stays which summed up now to almost one year. A big thanks to each and every employee of this hotel, please keep up this brilliant service and customer experience!

I was in the pool bar, Nd its just amazing.

Nice pool to chill with friends, you can enjoy the music and smoke shisha. we had trouble with menu’s as some new some old. For salad Cesar you should pay additional if you like to add chicken, for coffee they don’t have almond or coconut even no soya milk if you need it’s strange for hotel service. For O,5 bottle water will cost 15 AED. We had lunch and dinner there and we been waiting our bill around 20 min two times as they had some mistakes. But It’s great location and beautiful view.

Having a long stay at Avani Iban Batuta was really a great experience. The staff was helpful and did there best to make my stay comfortable.
