All of the staff was great honestly, very friendly, especially the room attendants and waiters. The food was also very good in all the restaurants in the resort.My main issues with the resort were that towards the end of our stay it started to get pretty crowded, so it was getting increasingly hard to get a deckchair in the shade, which I think is pretty bad at 40+°C. Also some of the guests were pretty rowdy, which makes it harder for couples to enjoy a romantic stay.Another small quarrel with the resort was that it is not maintained perfectly, so you can find quite some small imperfections like some tiles missing in the lagoon and similar.Thanks to the super friendly staff I only dock 1 star.

Very nice ambiance. Happy and friendly people around. When you are in the resort and walk around and you will feel that you are in Maldives or any island property. Nice gardens and pathways and well maintained. Keep the good work and maintain the standard.

Literally had the best relaxing time in this hotel. The customer service is just second to none, Hafiz and Kabeer went out of their way to ensure our stay was of 5* quality. Amazing rooms with super cool views. A 24hour pool, with a fantastic spa, with thanks to Dion for taking care of us. Sam was fantastic and ensured we were well looked after. I cannot wait to return!

The best hotel in Dubai by far. The lagoon access room is so amazing and makes it so much easier to just relax, especially for families. Breakfast buffet is delicious, rooms are good, as is room service food and drinks. Can’t wait to visit again, it’s such an incredible hotel with a lot of greenery and is also an eco-friendly and sustainable hotel. I highly reccomend!

Very nice hotel, loved the swim up balcony. Room staff very friendly and quick to any request, ie…ice, extra towels, water. Restaurants on location were above average and all of them had a happy hour at some point and time of the day. Hotel had free valet parking. Amazing views from the hotel. Close to tourists activities

Everything on the Palm Island is definitely worth a five star for me and more. Scenery is awesome.try visiting the Palm Islam via the monorail. You will get a beautiful view of Dubai and guess what? Its silent because it crosses the residential areas. One would think you could actually jump out of the monorail 🤣

Beautiful resort. Great service. My husband and I spent our anniversary here and had the best steaks at Bushmans. Even after the infinity pool was shut abruptly thanks to a kid taking a dump in it, we were able to move to one of the many lagoons to continue our time in the water.

We stayed in the lagoon access villas for our anniversary getaway and they were truly stunning! On arrival we were given a shaded villa, which once we expressed we would prefer sunlight, we were moved immediately to another.The breakfast was busy but had fantastic options, and the room service was quick. If anyone is considering if the lagoon access is worth the extra money... it totally is. It’s like having a little Maldives retreat in Dubai.Stayed for a long weekend but desperately wanted to extend and never leave! Anantara hospitality is truly incredible!

We had a wonderful week at anantara Dubai. It was quite quiet within the hotel, the room towards lagoon view offered plenty of space and was extremely clean and tidied up every day! I wanna thank Sakhti for his great service, warm-heartedness and friendliness. That was amazing and incomparable to European services,I wanna point out the great quality of the sand beach as well the unique restaurants offering extremely high quality, super delicious food. The only things, that should be improved were the miserable service outside in the morning for breakfast and the not-state-of the Art gym room, with a cool and heartless atmosphere ( who wants to look at a wall when running), no kettlebells, no yoga mats, defect cable tower (whole week)…We would definitely recommend the hotel and consider to return sometime! Keep up the hard work!Yours sincerely

The service was nice. Lem at the front desk was amazing. However, the property is very old and definitely wasnt worth the price. Rooms were small/ had old furniture. The bedding quality was very poor. The resort needs to be renovated for sure. The lagoon and pool were fun but needs to be cleaned.

Excellent hotel! We came here for the day to use the facilities and we had a very good time! The pool was incredible, very innovative, very warm and not too busy.There are lots of sun loungers, water villas and places to sit. It is on the palm and so it overlooks the beach which is very nice too.It is definitely one of the nicer hotels on the palm. I would highly recommend staying here, whether that is just for the day or for a lengthier period of time. Five stars!

Terrible car noise.... Very nice hotel, excellent service, unfortunately during the night supercars are racing in front of the building.... Neither management nor Dubai Police doing anything..... Crazy.... I agree road car noise is beyond control of management, however it is still a fact that it is making a very bad experience for travellers, and they should know about it before reservation. Other, similar issue: imagine if a nice hotel is next to a sewage plant, obviously it is beyond management control, but still the terrible smell would make a bad stay for visitors. This example is a little bad, as in the case of car noise the hotel management would be able to act.... stand outside a man, then call the police, make video of offenders, etc. just to name a few possibilities to take care of sleep of guests.

It was a wonderful experience, we stayed in the Premier lagoon villa we have amazing view we enjoy our 3days staycation here, its clean the staff are very helpful and friendly especially to Ms.Diane excellent service, food is great as well. Highly recommended we will definitely visit the place again😉😉

It was amazing experience.. I love the fact that lagoon entry was right from our room.Fun place for kids.. Good services for in-dining..good facility to have a staycation.

Overall was a good experience, we stayed in the lagoon access rooms. All the days we stayed there we felt no need of leaving the resort, very good restaurants around us and the lagoon access is amazing so you dont need to go for a main pool. Staff were nice except one single person. Some issues were there too, when you order food from out you need to go for the security entrance at the hotel, no one warned us and the inside transportation take some time to arrive ( i went take the food and come to the room by foot, and the transportation arrive at my room when we already finished the meal ), so if you order food from out, for example pizza like we did schedule very good the time. Other issue was we had torn sheets, for a 5 star resort its kind bad to see it. Another issue we saw was the slippery steps for the lagoon, you need to be carefully, now the mais issue was for the breakfast, you have to wait a lot in a line to enter for breakfast, even with the 2, 3 places you can go inside the resort is not enough, this was a big issue for us, you spend quite some time just waiting to enter, time that you want to spend doing other stuff. At the end i still recommend the place and hope they improve this issues, they are not big issues just need to be managed.

I was here this week, and I wanted to convey my experience to you in all honesty and clarity.. Since I am a citizen, the interaction is different and I do not know why, I booked through booking.com in the premier lagoon access room. But surprisingly, the hotel reservations employee assured me that there are no empty rooms and that the room is not available and my reservation did not reach the hotel, the signs of arrogance on me were clear and I do not know why there might be an agreement to raise prices or exploit the customer in terms of payment, i saw many rooms are available .. After my insistence, they informed me that they might get a room but it needs cleaning even though I am around the evening at 10pm, is it possible that the room has not been cleaned until this time knowing that the check out is at 12pm. Also, the car transportation service and transportation via the hotel cart is very weak and there is no coordination or even excellent management in this service.. On the other hand, I think that the place is very beautiful and makes you feel psychologically comfortable, especially the atmosphere of the swimming pool and the geometric shape of the product as it suggests that you are on the island of Bali, Indonesia. .. I hope the hotel management pay more attention to the customers as well as the vehicle transportation services.

The lagoon rooms at the Anantara are possibly one of the best experiences you can have at any hotel in Dubai. Service has always been great, the facilities are excellent, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately we booked the villa over the water but the receptionist gave us the one with the limited view although there was another with better view and more privacy available. We had to refuse for her to give us the other unit. And after wasting more than one hour of our time she promised of late check out but it was the worst option every 30 minutes there was someone knocking the door. We had even to leave before our time.The place is lovely and nice but they need to respect their customers.!

Most amazing resort, the cleanliness was unbelievable regardless of the covid situation. All staff were majorly friendly and helpful whenever and wherever. The lagoons were incredible, our lagoon access villa was unreal. The Valet parking was a bit of a nightmare little staff & you could be waiting for 20 minutes to get your car and in 40 degree heat it wasn’t ideal.

Firstly and mostly i would like to thank Mr.Karim on the front desk for his great customer service skills, however everything is really great, interior design , house keeping service was great i ordered many things received within eye blinking. Will be trying the transport service (club car) today evening if its great i would give this hotel 5 stars. I only believe hotel management should work little bit harder on pest control out near pool areas. Islands in uae have this issue but can be solved with good pest control easily.Thank you Anantara management

We went to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary on a 3-days stay, the staffs were lovely and helpful, the service was wonderful including the cleanliness of the facilities. The tuktuk kiddie clubs staffs were great with our LO, the cleaner was up to point to disinfect the equipment as soon as I finished using it at the gym, the lagoons were always clean and they observed social distancing at all places in the resort. Went for anniversary...the room was covered in rose petals and balloons.Later on came back to the room and had a cake.In the Beach House lounge had another cake arranged.Wasnt impressed with breakfast at Revo..which Reception were already nice to give 50% upfront...but after my feedback.. they gave me in-room dining credit...that I exceeded.. but they didnt charge for!Pool is amazing...Restaurants are not up to the level of the hotel... but Customer Service really makes up for it.. they go above and beyond.A much needed short break in the amazing overwater Villa....felt I was in Thailand!Absolutely recommended

Its not the time of year to come here the weather wasnt what youd expect it can be lonely… the residential rooms were less than what I expects. I would advise the lagoon for all couples just make sure you pic a good time.

If I could give the anatara more stars I would. I felt so welcomed and everyone who works here are friendly. Everyone makes sure your ok. The kids enjoyed the lagoon access room. Before we left the kids got a special gift from anatara. We are just so glad we chose to stay here.

A wonderful resort with a unique setup, vibe and location. The only place in the city with over water villas, like the ones found in the Maldives.The resort also has 3 swimming lagoons with direct access from the rooms so you walk right or off your room into a pool.The team working here is amazing and super friendly... always a pleasure staying here - a true gem!

We celebrated our anniversary and my bday by booking a two day stay at Anantara the palm! We had a wonderful experience right from the time we checked in all thanks to Ms Madiha who ensured our stay was all sorted! She was just am absolute delight to interact with and provided excellent customer service! She went out of the way to make our stay memorable and really makes us want to go back for another staycation! Malik who drove us around the resort and was very prompt whenever we requested for a buggy to move around deserves a mention here! The only thing i can think of that annoyed us a bit was when we approached the main reception of the resort and were made to drive around the parking area before being sent to another reception of the south residences to check in. Otherwise overall was a fantastic experience..loved our stay as the resort really makes you feel like you have travelled elsewhere for a vacation!

Very chilled, nice lagoon pool but definitely not 5*, more like 3 or 4. The rooms are very basic, no extra touches like cushions or bed throw. We had to request bath robes. We would expect more in Dubai.

I’ll be very honest the stay was quite lovely, the room was great and the services were lovely. except for one, in-room dining; now this happened on multiple occasions during my stay. First incident was during our first night at the hotel where we’ve ordered dinner and not only did most of the order turn out wrong, they didnt even bring everything we’ve ordered, I let it go thinking there was a mistake and since it was only once I didn’t, second time, the same thing happened. On my final night I decided to have a family dinner, forgetting about the whole misordering fiasco, (keep in mind they repeated the order to me before confirming it on every single incident), we ordered a rather large meal I must admit, but even then I expected that such a high quality hotel with such good reputation would be able to atleast meet up with the in room dining, and if not they’d be willing to call and let us know what they can and cannot bring from our order. But they didn’t, completely side blinded everyone and brought only the appetizer and two main meals. I mentioned it to the person who brought over the food and they only seemed perplexed and then I decided to check the bill to see the food listed down and it seemed that over half what we ordered wasn’t even there in the first place. The person was polite enough to ask if we’d like to order again even though he seemed just as confused and hesitant as us and declined, it’s just rather disappointing to see such a great hotel lack in one of their services.

Good ambience to stay away from the city located on the crescent of the Palm. Come with your swim suit...water water everywhere.....

I wish I didn’t need to post this, but I think it’s good to inform future travelers of what we experienced.During the second and third day of our trip, there were cockroaches in our suite. Having never experienced these expect during a trip to hawaii, it was very offputting. By the last day of our trip the ceiling was leaking and started falling down (photos attached). These issues did not ruin our trip, but it really ruined the comfort we felt while in our suite. The manager apologized during our checkout process. All in all, our stay did not feel five star, perhaps more three star.Pros:-Lovely staff-Well manicured grounds-The restaurants (we visited the Mai Bar, Bushmans, the Beach House, and Mekong) were incredible. The food and service were unmatched in Dubai.Cons:-There is only one main pool, so it was often crowded. There are small lagoons you can go to as well, but most people surrounded the pool.-The pool vibe really lacked. There was no enjoyable music and the overall atmosphere was a bit bleak.-The room (lagoon view) smelled moldy and stagnant, even with the AC on.-The room lacked an element of comfort or “coziness”Even putting the water damage and cockroaches aside, sadly we would not stay again.

Birthday weekend trip. So relaxing! Service is amazing. Vegan cake delivered to the room the first evening. Drinks at the Beach House with live music. Good selection of drinks and food. At breakfast the chef cooked something up for me due to my dietary restrictions. That was above and beyond! Pool/beach facilities and service was great. Dinner at Mekong was deliciously spicy and again the service was top shelf. Cocktails there are also pretty damn amazing. Loved every minute.

I booked for 4 adults in 2 Bedroom with balcony and I was overwhelmed & amazed how big the room was, how beautiful the interior, good smell, hi-tech, very clean, all that you need is there and its just Wow and awesome, including those floating villas in the beach area and villas near the river pool, Im speechless how good, relaxing and spectacular the place was. And Im very thankful to Anantara Resort because they gave me the best view of Burj Al Arab as a complimentary for my birthday and also dont forget the sweet surprise birthday cake they gave me. Staffs are very kind and accommodating as well. Me and my friends made a best decision ever for booking in Anantara The Palm Dubai. I will verily, highly recommend this place to my family, friends, colleauges & to those people reading this review. Promise, all you need is there & youll love it.

Good resort. Some of the rooms are dated and not at the standard you would expect from Anantara. Some refurbishment activities will be started in June 2021 on some of the rooms. On the plus side, the staff is wonderful.

Real beauty staying in one of the water villas. Staff were warm and friendly. Requested a farther villa with and opposite view however was not given - was told it was reserved for later checking in guests with longer stay which is disappointing instead of first come first serve basis. Otherwise love the luxury of the room

We stayed in Anantara the palm and had a wonderful time through out the stay, from check in LILY to guest relation lady and foremost Farah Halima who is best who helped us in our booking.Lastly higher management should look for better place for lady who was standing in open air hell hot and managing valets or co concierge

Its a nice vibrant resort defiantly for family and couples, but considering the other resorts its not quite large in space and a bit compacted. the pool between the suits is a nice feature specially that its 24 hours open. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I do Suggest anybody who loves Indian food to try at least once here. U will enjoy for sure.The taste of Cheese Naan is fresh and very delicious. Butter chicken is very original. But not that much hot for non Indian people. The price is acceptable. The place is nice and calm. Staffs are super polite,helpful and warm. U can enjoy the time there.

Anantara is my go to because of so many factors. I’m this is my 3rd/4th review but I can’t help myself coz every time I stay.. there’s smthg better..first of all, staff remember us.. they know our name, they remember things from the previous stay.. it’s great.. there’s a personal touch to it..They tried their absolute best to make my sons birthday special.. personalised banner and decoration in the room for him..A free upgrade with a stunning view for his birthday.. honestly.. they’re like family!Jamie is ever so polite! He is super considerate about nap times and calls the mobile instead of the room to check that all’s ok..Staff in the restaurant at breakfast tried everything to ensure my son eats.. they all saw how much of a fussy eater he is.. we were struggling to get him to eat anything.. they didn’t give up, they suggested pancakes, crepe, sausages, yogurt, strawberries.. they made sure he ate!The more I come to this hotel, the more I wanna move here permanently! The whole atmosphere is soooooooo soothing and peaceful!The pool is so well maintained!Covid rules are respected by all and they’re not scared to tell guests to wear their mask which I applaud them for!!!!!I wish I could set up an alert for when they have the best deals so I dont miss out coz every excuse/reason is good to enough to visit Anantara!Keep up the good work! Guests truly feel valued here and I have to add.. I’m a super difficult and complicated person.. I am soooooo hard to please and every hotel I go to(highly reputed) , there’s something I need to complain about.. rusty bathroom, smelly curtains or bedsheets, water not hot enough, room not big enough, staff doing nothing about guests not wearing masks.. but at Anantara.. even if I look for flaws.. I can’t find any!
