The infraestruture is beautiful and well kept, and the stay is fairly priced. The service does need improvement though.I booked the room online, and there were no available rooms, so I was directed to the duty manager. I said Id like to check in to freshen up, since I had just came from my trip, I was sweating, and I was heading for the city centre, it was around 1 pm, and I was told check in is at 3 pm. Im an avid traveller, already did early check ins a few times without problems (even in China, with their rule-adhering culture that usually is not accommodating) , and this was the first time I got such a blunt and unkind answer, but ok, I have to understand those are the rules, I didnt complain. I also asked for a room in the upper floors, and I got a room on the top floor.I had just come from the mall, where I bought a charger from my phone, I asked where I could keep the bag while I headed to town, reception sent me to the concierge. He looked to my bag as if it was a bag of trash. Later that day, when I collected it, 2 other staff were smirking when they handed over the bag to me. I honestly dont need staff judging me, they just have to do their job.Once I reached the bedroom, the window was locked (photo attached), I have asthma and allergies, I wish I was able to open it.Also, during breakfast, the tables were not sanitised between guests, the gentleman that brought me a cloth napkin did it with his back turned to me the whole time (even while I thanked him for bringing the napkin). I understand, hes busy, but still some courtesy would have been nice.Furthermore, the bread toaster wasnt working properly, and the staff responsible for the bread was very kind and polite, but he didnt know how to operate it. An Irish gentleman put his bread on the toaster 9 times, the bread was still white as snow. It would have been good if someone could teach that staff how to work with the machine.Finally, I poured myself some lemon and mint juice and it turned out to be syrup with water. Lemon and mint are affordable and widely available here, and quite quick to do it too, it would be much healthier if you could have real lemon and mint instead of syrup with water.Back to my bedroom and ready to take a shower, I heard the cleaning staff going from room to room. I wanted to put up the do not disturb sign not to be disturbed nor surprised naked in the shower, and the sign was nowhere to be found. Those signs are useful and should be available in bedrooms.Overall, the stay was OK, its just some improvements that need to be made if this hotel wants to brand itself as a 5 star hotel.

Very affordable hotel next to Ibn Battuta Mall. You can book a comfortable room at a very good price. Rooms are cool, clean with comfortable beds and nice toilets. Definitely recommend for an enjoyable stay and easy access to the mall. Please press like if you found my review helpful. Thanks.

Last night i was invited to their Ladies Night Out event, announced with an offer for 3 complimentary drinks. Both me & my friend who invited me do not drink alcohol, it was just an idea to get out a bit and see a new place. Well, guess what : they informed us and the other clients on the next table ,that this offer was valid before, when the place was owned by another company and now the offer is buy 2 drinks & get the 3rd for free......As clients on the other table stated that they live in the facility & will raise the problem to the top management, the Manager of the bar started negotiating with them offering something in order to calm them down turning his back on us. For sure, i will make sure to inform all my friends . Its a very dishonest way to attract clients. Wish i could give them no start at all

Oaks hotel ibn batuuta is a old luxurious hotel located just few steps beside ibn batuuta mall which is big mall and have everything you will need .The hotel have a very good swimming pool on the 8th floor and the service their is very good also .The check in was smooth and @Quinny helped and explained every thing to us, she did her best ,, also the check out process was smooth .The rooms are ok but old , hotel reception is very good , room service was very good also , when we requested extra bed sheet we received within 5 minutes.The breakfast was normal ordinary european style , don’t expect much , the service in the restaurant need to be improved.

Corner suite on the eighth floor. Nice balcony with a lot of air flow. You get the strong sea breeze during the day and the nice calm land breeze at night.The suite layout is well thought out. The bathroom and rainfall shower are amazing. The dresser behind the bed is unbelievably functional. I like it.The service is right on. Quick and professional. Will visit again.

We just returned from an amazing vacation in Dubai. We chose the Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate without knowing too much about it apart from the usual review check on different websites. Long story short, we were blown away! The star of the hotel is its interior and the staff. Coming from someone who has spent a lot of time in hotels across the globe, let me tell you that the staff at Oaks Ibn Battuta has been proper trained and definitely doesnt shy away from going the extra mile to ensure the guests satisfaction. The breakfast buffet has a nice variety and includes a local touch, which I find very important. The usual continental breakfast items are also included, though. The location of the hotel is perfectly situated right across the road from the impressive Ibn Battuta Mall. It is quite a distance to downtown Dubai, but the Marina and Palm are a short taxi ride away, so nothing to complain about location-wise. Went to their party hall Damascus. The place looks good but it is gradually decaying. There is no attention to detail. It used to look great when it was owned by Movenpick.

A well hidden but really beautiful hotel inside, very close to all the shops and straight onto Sheikh Zayed Road, just a few minutes away from Dubai Marina. Room toiletries were pretty poor quality, so if they improve that and had softer bath towels, it would be a much nicer experience. I would stay here again.

Luxurious yet so affordable hotel, the staff are very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast has a wide variety of selection. We were given a swift tour around the hotel by ANN Mendiola 🙋🏻‍♀️ (very friendly 😍 and good photographer 🤩📸, thank you so much!), and we even tasted some arabic coffee ☕️ with the help of Mostafa, who taught us how to combine coffee with dates. The ambience was great. Lots of places to hang out. The staff was friendly. Especially loved Mustafa who offered Arabic qahwa and dates throughout the day at reception. Great experience.

Very nice hotel...5 stars I believe and has very good location next to the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai. I super love the pool area with the infinity design. So relaxing and quite away from the traffic noise. So convenient with access to the Metro and Bus stops.

Today 11th May 2021. We ordered food at 1:30 pm and most food started to arrived an hour and 45 minutes after. This is unacceptable for F&B service point of view.I tried Phad Thai, it is not to what i expected. No flavour at all. I also tried Mac and Cheese, same thing, flavour less food.Service is not good. They could do better

It was amazing. Everyone of the staff was frindly. The cocktails of Raffaele has been great. He suprised us with very good tasting new cocktails, always having an ear to the needs/allergies of the clients. He was always kind and we never had to wait to long for our order.

I cannot believe it is a 5 * hotel1) the reservation team made a mistake in my arrival date and said it would cost extra fee. After accusing me for 10min, they told me it would cost 9usd extra. So they prefer accusing a customer rather than loosing 9usd...2)the room was so dirty. They claim the hotel is sanitized and virus free, I doubt it. The only way that it would be true is that if the virus was less brave than us and fled after seeing how dirty the room was.I dont feel this hotel deserves 5 stars. There are so many hotels in Dubai, just skip this one.

Yummy food, spacious rooms and good in room entertainment.

Very accomodating, staffs are so friendly.The only cons is that the safety of the viditors in the ballroom hall. The wires were tied up in black tape which is so invisible specially if you seat behind. All wires should be tied up beside the wall, to avoid accidents like what happen to a liitle boy last 09.05.2021. And the wire should be visible, like black and yellow as a warning sign.

One of the best five star hotels i have visited. The interior design of the hotel and the rooms are fabulous. It is a good combination of contemporary and classic Meditteranean. I love the pool site and the people there are very kind and accomodating. I felt i am at my own place whilst i was there.

Ill start my review at the very beginning. We pulled up to the hotel with no staff on the outside to assist with bags so I had to do that by myself and upon entering the hotel with my bags the first reaction of the staff was to tell me that I need to park the car myself. Now I know its covid pandemic and everything so I am well aware that I need to park the car myself but firstly, Ive had to carry my bags into the hotel myself because there was no1 to greet me at the entrance and when I came inside still no one offered me help with my bags.I left my wife and kids to check in while I went to park the car in the basement. When I came up my wife looked equally as irritated as me and she told me she was asked to have a seat and wait to be helped as the staff were busy with other clients... This is understandable but they did not call my wife when they were done with their clients and just assisted other people who walked straight up to them. We have a 6 year old and 1 year old daughter who are tired and crabby as well at this point as we drove all the way from Al Ain. Finally we get some assistance after now standing in line waiting to be assisted. So why tell my wife to have a seat if you not going to assist her when youre done with your client.Anyways... On to the room.The room is fairly decent for the price we paid I would think I think it is a deluxe room that we booked.There is a king size bed, and all the usual amenities you would find in a normal hotel room. The bathroom is 2 seperate rooms. One containing the toilet and bathtub and across the hallway is the shower.The toilet bathroom had a smell like a drain which was there for the entirety of our stay. The toilet also felt rather cramped and there is a sliding panel which revealed a window into the bathroom from the bedroom side which u can see the person on the toilet. This sliding panel is located on the bedroom side and anyone outside the toilet can open this which is a silly design in my opinion.One last gripe is that we found a bag of trash in our room by the curtain that was left by a previous guest.While.the price is good for this hotel, I dont think it deserves its 5 star rating.Will not be back anytime soon.

The spa staff are so welcoming, and helpful. They respect their customers. The masseur was also helpful, and professional. I recommend their spa for those look for professional massage.

Iam a hotelier, and I have been in so many hotels, this is the first time I experiance such a poor services, the moment I entered the two bedrooms it was really disappointing to see the room is old, tvs not working, and upon calling the receptionist he keep putting the phone down. And above all bad experience is the pool as hundreds of guests was there for long time not giving the chance to other guests and I believe the hotel should have pool policy to control it, but they didnt. It will be a lesson for me not to come again at all

Worst hotel ever. If you are looking to have a time peaceful enough with your family , this is not the place that you are looking for. The least they care about u as a customer and just want to fill their ledger. Whatever they commit on their package is least fulfilled and you will made to argue for each and every thing promised. No senior management involved and feels do not care for their customers. Complimentary lunch mentioned, free massage session for family felt like a fake advertisement and u will definitely cheated for the money paid. Highly non recommended if you want value god money

I stayed in this hotel back in 2016 and what an amazing experience. clean and friendly staff who all spoke English and the breakfast was amazing in fact got better and better. The rooftop had an amazing swimming pool with an awesome view of the buildings surrounding the hotel. The metro is also a walking distance and the shopping mall called IBN Battuta Mall. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Dear OKAS. I am totally disagree and un-satisfied. Example. Lift 11 no sanitizer available. Lift 13 sanitized dispenser broken last 2 days. Today while checkout. Informed reception. Food quantity not enough. May its contract base. But quality of food so poor and able to eat. Today morning i purchased breakfast from our side. Many thing observed and its below 3 star hotel. Before Okas. I stay 9 days in ibis and 13 days in Novotel hotel. Both are good but Novotel is best. Staff very cooperative. Service of room without any request. I talk to food manager Singh by phone. He said only 3 pieces in your contract and can you 4th piece. I dont have any words to say. My checkout was on 18 but I make checkout today. Because I can not stay more days. Thanks

I was inclined to review this hotel after many reviews in Google said about cold food and turns out to be it is true. The food is cold and the places tends out to be crowded.

Do not pay all inclusive or book for a leisure holiday.X - the pool is too small for the size of the hotel and is mostly is shade. Its full by 11.00am.X - it took an hour to order a coke we didnt even bother to attempt food!X - the shuttle bus get fully booked and after 11.am cove beach is also full.X - you need a voucher to enter cove beach which staff failed to tell us about leaving us in am arkward position asking cove beach staff to let us in.X - staff offer to book you in shuttle bus and dont leaving you stuck to either stay at pool or pay to use another hotels beach.X - you have to have the free buffet breakfast  you cant order a la carte.X - they tell you all inclusive starts at 10.30 yet wont serve you anything until 12.pm.X - what is the point in a breakfast menu from 7.30-11.30 that no one can order from?!X - dinner is a buffet or the cafe and rev bar with limited choice. No restaurant to order a nice dinner from.

Loved every bit of our stay! We stayed as a young family of four for 5 days, hotel provides bus services to Dubai attractions which was wonderful. Food was excellent, excellent pool and beach facilities provided, hotel staff were present and trained in giving 5 star experience. Normally we do not like themed hotel and always in favour of modern but this hotel is perfect combination of old and new without being dated or claustrophobic. We felt our money was well spent.
