Restaurant is good but not too good, hotel environment is full of unhygienic so smelly

I had a night stay with my husband. The next day I got a call from the number i dont know. I picked the call and mentioned my name, and he said he is from melody hotel. Then I asked him if is there any problem (meaninh during our stay) he said no. So im wondering why he is calling me with his personal number. I told to that person straightaway that this is not professional if u call the guest with your personal number. So please receptionist, guests personal data should not be shared or even contacted for your personal reason or whatever it is and by using the personal number to call the guests. Talk also in the manner ways. Not calling by used guests name only. Be aware and be careful. I dont even complaine about the room or the service. But this is the only I regret about. I stayed in many 3 stars hotels with my husband and never had such as experience after. Hope they can train the staffs more professional.

Disgusting rooms. When you open the door of the room the smell of the cigarette will embrace you, and the cockroaches will welcome you. Not a good hotel to stay at all!

Not at all satisfied...even though we had done the online booking they disagreed to that and askd us to book again. Would never recommend.

Sorry my experience here was terrible! The rooms are old, floor carpet worn out, cockroaches crawling in my room and the bed far from comfortable. Bad value for the $50 per night I paid. I checked out in a hurry the next morning. Appalling experience!

The cleanliness of the room is bad because of the many small cockroaches and I was a checkpoint online, and the first thing I went to the employee was telling me that he didn’t have a reservation. Cockroaches in the bathroom, broken shower. The advantage is cheap. Hotel for Afrikaners. I do not recommend unless someone has to.

Not clean, not welcoming, and the people at the reception make fun of black-skinned strangers, treat us as if we were not paying the hotel, showers and toilets are cleaned according to their availability.And even the change of sheets and towels is not done regularly. To the point where when a person leaves, they just set up their bed to wait for the next customer.And when we draw their attention to it, they complain about it.For rooms with two (2) beds, three (3) beds and four (4) beds, we pay different prices despite sharing the same room. Isnt that amazing? You can not find? A four (4) bed room, in which there is one person who pays sixty-five (65) Dirhams, another seventy (70) Dirhams, and two others who pay up to one hundred and twenty (120 ) Dirhams ... Isnt that the last straw?No breakfast served, we say that it exists, only a minority is informed, and it seems that we have to take a ticket every morning at the reception to be entitled to it, and this at 8 am precisely ... Otherwise, timeout!Are we coming for a military training to have a specific time to have a compulsory breakfast together, otherwise no breakfast!Everyone, unless Im wrong, whatever their origin, does not have the same schedule to have breakfast as far as I know ...In short, business in the business of the Boss and behind his back. As no one complains ... So the majority think it is legal!It was just a small review on Melody Queen Hotel, on Al Nasser Square, Deïra, in Dubai, where I have been for almost a month, since December 19, 2018.
