Very old hotel .The first impression at the sight of the hotel was defaulting, the photo on the website and in reality are two different things. You go inside and it smells of mold. Our room was on the first floor, I attached the view . Well .The best view of Dubai. Construction goes on all day, day off on Friday. We didnt manage to check in earlier, were waiting at the cafe.The room is large, it smells of humidity. There are no dishes for tea or coffee, you will see paper cups instead, it looks cheap (covid measures) BUT! if you go down to the breakfast buffet, you will drink the same tea from the glassware . On the photo of the “classic room” you will see bathrobes, unfortunately it is ONLY pictures. Slippers were not found in the room either. The cabinets are very old, cheap little kettle and iron. All very poor quality. The pipes need to be cleaned in the bathroom.At check-in, we did not receive any information about the hotel facilities . The Lady took our documents to scan, payment for the tourist tax 120 drh, (I thought we paid all taxes, but no.) Then they offered to sit on the sofas and wait. Information about where our breakfasts would be held, we were not told, I had to go down and find out with me WHERE and WHAT TIME .It also turns out that they have a bus to the beach? Thank you for letting us know. We specially rented a car to go to the beach .(you can find a sign near the elevators with the bus schedule, but we didn’t pay attention to it.)One evening ,we decided to sit in a pub and celebrate my dads birthday (in advance, he has it in October, but I wont see him, since he lives in Russia, and me in the UAE) We sat until late until 2:00 am. We asked for the bill (700drh- $ 190) And I ask the waiter to put the bill on my room. The waiter did not immediately bring the bill, went to the reception and came to me and said that I HAD to pay the bill on the spot. Since the amount is VERY large, 700 dh. I remind you that we are HOTEL GUESTS . When I went to the reception, the manager is Mohisin said either you pay the bill or set up 1500 drh as a deposit.. AT FIRST . Things like a deposit need to be warned in advance when guests check into the hotel (plus give all the information about the hotel) I have never experienced such humiliation. I did not plan to pay for my fathers birthday that evening, but to fall off at the end of our vacation. When asked why I was not warned about the deposit, Mohsin told me Im sorry, but we have such rules. Excuse me? Sorry for the irresponsible staff ruining my vacation and overall hotel experience? they talked to me as if I had come from the street and not a guest standing in a hotel and spending money there. Mr.Mohsin said that he would write a complaint about his staff? You have a guest at 2:00 am and instead of ,give the over options and solution,you promising to punish your staff? disgusting attitude. If honestly want to move out of here.I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A BAD REVIEW IN MY ALL LIFE. And I would not have written if the night manager had solved the situation in a different way. But I could not forgive such humiliation “SORRY”

We had a great time in the hotel. Room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were polite and very accommodating.

Today in the morning I was unhappy, I have limited time in the morning, I asked about room service, after 35-40 min I call again and asked the room service again and they just forget about it, so it will be good if it is not repeated and do not tell customer some excuse …….. when customer feel like I am the one who are not correct….. ,Before I added different comment about my experience, I add photo

Disgusting. The reception lady was too rude, she talk to guest as if she is doing some favor talking to you. The room service guys are not too bad but this filpino lady on 16th september morning shift was tooooo bad. Rooms were not clean, sofa have big stains. Bads looks too old. Cabinets are quite old. Window have no view or say blocked view. There is building next to windows which is dirty from outside so looks really awkward. I will add fotos later. But firslt this receptionist must be replaced immediately.

If you are coming for leisure its not the place...if you just want to stay at affordable prices and you are not getting any option then you can consider it...also the map location and detail shows its a beach side which is not true...its in mid of the crowded places...

Their entrance was under construction which was hard to get into and they stopped their valet service which under covid, is understandable.However whats not, even after calling ahead to confirm we could dine at the Boston bar with negative PCRs, they changed their tune when some of our non vaccinated party with negative results werent allowed to enter. This was not applicable to other people there that walked in without question.The bar staff was curt as well, looking like they were doing us a favor to serve us when we were putting our appetizer orders in before the whole party got there.They offered to put us up in the restaurant at the other side but there was no urgency in getting it setup where we had to ask for the lights and AC to be turned on.After we decided to leave they insisted we had to pay for any food items that were ready.We had to wait around till they said we didnt have to pay for it after checking on it.Please train your floor managers and have accurate information available to them which they should apply fairly to all people unless you want to lose more patronage.My family have been patrons for years. This ended that night where we were trying to celebrate our mothers birthday.

One of the best places to stay in the heart of Dubai, I must applaud their efforts for following the Covid safety protocols. I Felt safe, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. And Would like to Thank the Rotana Jumeirah team for giving me a free upgrade.

It was good experience in the hotel. Staff is very humble and helpful. I stayed with my family for 10 days and enjoyed a lot. Due to covid breakfast buffet was not available we have to order on table. My suggestion is that some more variety should be added in breakfast. Overall it was good experience. Keep it up 👍

Amazing Resturant in this hotel named Olive Oil restaurant, I visited with me kids and family, hats off to Mr Jeewan who served us with a great smile on his face, the most welcoming guy I have ever seen in any Resturant in Dubai. He individually deserves 5 stars for his personality, customer service and the way he deals with the customers and guests, which made them to visit again and again. Food itself was amazing delicious fresh and mouth watering. Thanks Mr Jeewan again to you I will definitely recommend my friends and family and I would love to visit again only because of you beside the delicious food. 👌🙌👍

We visited the restaurant Olive Oil for eid lunch buffet today . When I called for reservations yesterday the F & B manager informed me that buffet is AED 75/- for food and soft drinks and AED 120/- with unlimited alcohol , however today after the buffet he informed that AED 120/- separate only for alcohol this was never mentioned over the phone conversation yesterday .. why to mislead customers . He could have mentioned if alcohol is to be included extra AED 120/- to be paid.It was so embarrassing for me with my closest friends to go through something like this .. very unprofessional and unethical

“The breakfast was really good and varied (full english breakfast, fruits, sweets, cooked food etc.), the staff are very helpful, and friendly. The cleanliness was good, we didnn wait a lot for the elevators. The nearest beach is the La Mer beach (2 km about), but you need taxi for all programs. The hotel has transfer to La mer and Dubai Mall every workdays once a day (we didnt use this). Very nice beach is the Al Mamzaar beach park, not too far by taxi (if it is not traffic jam- about 20 min. by taxi. Several kilometers you can find a Dubai Gardenglow, 5 km. is a Burj Khalifa, Deira Gold souk...etc.. The rooftop pool was great, it was heated is wintertime, good!- The pool get enough sunlight. The hotel is corresponding to a 4 star hotel. The gym was perfect. Within 100 meter you can find a lot of restaurants.”

Let me start with the check in and the courtesy the staff has. Everything is perfect. It is beautiful and the ambience of this hotel is perfection. Whenever you are there, try and meet Mr Fairoos. He is too good at his job and helps you with everything. The guy at the pool who helps you there, is very good. This hotel was the best thing that happened to me in Dubai. The hygienic affirmation of rooms and the very well equipped bathrooms.Youll not regret the stay. I am going to stay at this hotel whenever Im in Dubai. 🖤

Very old room, weak AC, old room fridge. Construction happening next door and windows not sound proof. Everything happening in the corridors can be heard in the room especially rooms ending by number 14 facing the elevators.Very attentive staff, professional and spacious rooms.

I Checked in last Friday for over night I was happy with the room ,except the staff especially the reception, no one greets you on arrival, I find the receptionist a bit rude tone voice and you will not feel welcome at all. Lack of information that may mislead customers. Staff is the restaurant as well dont entertain guest the way its expected. Overall the service was very poor .

We dined at the OLIVE OIL Restaurant and were delighted at the buffet spread. This was no 5 STAR Spread, but it was VALUE FOR MONEY. The dishes were tasty especially the Beef. Dessert and cheese board were also enticing.The staff was friendly and eager to make our dining experience enjoyable. I asked for pickled onions and they brought it from the kitchen in a jiffy. Definitely worth a visit.

The staff really made the hotel. Jana at the pool was so hard working and attentive. He delivered towels, drinks, food and was always polite. The waitress staff were helpful and friendly. The Boston bar had lots of atmosphere and busy all week. Great value for money as all inclusive. Even the guests of all nationalities were friendly and welcoming to everyone

The staffs are not mannered and very rude, can’t believe a 5 star jumeirah Rotana hotel is charging for cutleries haha .. I’ve been staying in Rotana for 5 years now and never experienced these kind of insult. Very nice, clean and quiet hotel. The hotel in almost attach to big boulevard but at the same time is out of the noise. The staff is looking after the customers with a lot of attention. The rooms are big with wide single beds. There is pool on the roof of the hotel.The breakfast is large.Recamended A+++++

Went there for a dinner in their Olive Oil restaurant. It was a really good experience staff were friendly and food was awesome. Loved their salad bar.

I am a member in Rotana, so I am regular in most of its hotels, this one is lovely indeed, it is in the middle of Dubai, very close to everything, few steps and you are in a very busy street, while you cannot feel that inside your room. Rooms are spacious, food is lovely, staff are great, Parking is available out of the hotel with shaded parkings. The hotel itself is a bit old, but it is worthy to have the reservation in especially when the prices are not that high due to season.

Went after so many years to Boston bar, good food and drinks at great prices , they even have offer going for all you can drink hours with free stayover

Reception staff very rude and not really caring, breakfast wasnt great nor what youd expect for the price. Door staff and bell boys friendly.Standard room are nice spacious and clean, however half the hotel room face a run down apartment building with a awful view. Unable to open curtain as it looks on to local residents balconies and windows. Room was cleaned late in the day. And even then only bed was made, bins emptied and towels replaced.We then moved to the Presidential suite for the last night and this was MUCH better. Lovely nice open space, bright, better views (on some sides).Pool area VERY small and limited seating area that seats around 40. Even out of season (June) this area was full. Overall not a bad hotel the only let down was mainly the staff.

Nice hotel. Kinda out of the way. Larger rooms well stocked mini bar. The bar, Bostons was great. The head hostess from Bulgaria, was super nice.

Stayed for four days at the property. Rooms are nice and clean. Same for the bathrooms. House keeping is very helpful and prompt. Breakfast spread is good ,delicious, and plentiful.We checked in early and one room was provided instantly and other shortly.Check in was fast and easy.Special thanks to a very friendly staff.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Worst hotel experience ever!First night no internet till the next day and guess what their stuff said “ it’s not our problem “. The second day the elevator went down. The last day no electricity.Seriously, Dubai has hundreds of other hotels much cheaper and well managed.

A very clean hotel with modern interior. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Our room offered a stunning view of Dubais skyline. For us it was perfectly located between Dubai Creek, Downtown and Jumeirah Beach with the metro station close by.

I’ve had a wonderful stay here the place is great and it surrounded by almost everything . The staff here was very friendly especially “Ahmed” the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very quiet place . They have a swimming pool and offer a spa and other services . They have a 24 hour room service and it’s great but a little expensive. There’s as well a bar at the ground floor if I come to Dubai again this will definitely be my place .

Decent hotel around a nice proximity. Challenge is if you are taking metro as there is no nearby station.

Stayed at the hotel for 9 nights. The staff working in the hotel were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough. Would highly recommend this hotel and looking to go back next year! Special mention to Mofizul , always helpful and friendly and gave great service! There is plenty to do nearby with easy access to fast food restaurants, pharmacies, small supermarkets all nearby.The staff at the hotel are so helpful and polite and will bend over backwards to help you. A massive thanks to the concierge desk, who were very helpful during a crises. The bedrooms are really nice and the beds are so comfortable. Breakfast was definitely a highlight and most enjoyable and facilities and services really good, breakfast staff very attentive. Also a big thank you to the door staff, for being friendly and welcoming and always opening taxi doors and helping with getting things out from taxi.

The hotel rooms are wide and comfy it is located in the middle of the shopping area. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they helped me take my skeepy kids up to rhe room and provided us with stroller and wheel chair so I wont carry the kids. I have to mention the very gentle Fairuz who solved a tiny issue and was great help. Actulay the whole staff are very friendly and helpful they even extended our check out time.

It was not I was expecting1. It doesnt meet basic Rotana standard intermes of furniture and room standard2. Has no windows to refresh room environment and get fresh air although they have Windows but the are locked.3. Breakfast doesnt look good.4. Room and Bathroom light is very poor.5. However the Best reception staff are amazing. I would give them 10 out of 5.

Really nice hotel and staff. Big thanks to the guy on reception who sorted our room out and the security guard called faagher (not sure about the spelling) getting our cabs and being really nice with us. Rooms are big with great bathrooms some English tv channels and bottles of water every day. Didnt spend time in the pool as I was working in Dubai.At Breakfast there is a lot of chance and eggs made to choice.

Best customer service I have ever experienced. Housekeeping went above and beyond, and were always available right away If I ever needed any assistance. The front desk was extremely helpful, and always made sure our stay was pleasant.

Decent rooms. Never got mine cleaned, but had 4 knocks on my door at random hours to “check the minibar” and other absurdities in the 48 hours that I stayed.It’s substandard for a Rotana.
