I use the Club Lounge for my guests and meetings. A very convenient hotel. Easily accessible and conveniently located between the Old and New parts of the city

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and will hopefully get the chance in the future as well. It is a great location not far from the airport and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown dubai although you can still get to the busier parts of dubai in a cab in 25-30mins. This is a family friendly hotel but also caters for business and leisure travellers. I would always encourage fellow travellers to get Club Intercontinental access as the extra service and amenities is worth it. It was evident to me (someone who pays alot of attention to the detail) that the hotel does have less personnel on the ground and hence some very small standards have slipped (due to the covid pandemic) but still I would also always recommended this hotel to family and friends.

We went to Anise restaurant because it was my birthday. The food selection in the buffet was good but it was not as many as we were expecting, considering it was a five star hotel. All the hotel staffs in the restaurant were all polite and were accommodating. Nevertheless we still enjoyed and was treated with a bday wish and a cake. Appreciate the gesture. Keep up the good work.

There is not that much to say: everything was nearly perfect. We relaxed in the pool, dine at lobby restaurant Anisee and appreciated the large buffet, we slept well in the large and confortable room. Thanks to the abra service its easy to reach Creek station of metro green line and from there to go to almost anty place in Dubai.

Ive always had a pleasant experience at this hotel.The location is superb; it connects directly to the Dubai Festival City mall, which is a huge bonus should you wish to shop/grab a bite-to-eat during a quick layover.I have always found the staff to be very friendly and they are always willing to help and assist me - kudos to them.The rooms are modern and the bathroom is very luxurious, making the stay almost heavenly - brownie points if you get a room with a view of the waterfront.Whenever Im in Dubai, I will choose this hotel and I have no regrets whatsoever.

I was here to pick up a hire car from the Hertz desk. The decor made you instantly remember why the Intercontinental is still such a 5 star brand.

I have been staying at the intercontinental residence for 6 months and everything was going good until i got a call one day from the sales manager saying that “her team” told her that i have a pet in my room considering its a pet friendly hotel and that there were charges for each pet when before even moving in i mentioned i had pets. But at that time the charges did not matter to them up until 6 months that i have been living there! On top of that i told them i wasnt accepting the payment because its been told after months of me living there, so i told the sales manager i wont be living there if this is the case and then i was told that i wont be able to find another hotel that will accept pets on call when that even is not her job to mention this, i found it to be rude and very unprofessional, definitely will not recommend this place. Specially with a very rude manager!

Great place! Staff are friendly and happy, the options for food is great. Its also near the festival city mall, which is a nice one. The facilities are clean and the room was modern with new furniture. Is recommend this place.

I love this venue... the Intercontinental Festival City is very convenient with the friendly vallet parking, the hotel being attached to the Dubai Festival City Mall is a great convenience for shopping, extra food outlets and cinema... I used my points to have an extended weekend getaway... worked in the mornings... very reliable WiFi.. and had a little fun at night.

Every time I run into an issue with IHG, staff make all the difference in the world by responding immediately and promptly to my needs. There is no better way to make you feel special in your stay, and this hotel was no different. I would say food was slightly better in the past, but I’m sure as we ease out of Corona, the hotel will snap back to better food offerings

We like this hotel because it’s reasonably priced for a family friendly location and helpful staff. This time the view we had was not as good as last time, however it was still good enough for a comfortable stay. Breakfast options are amazing. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I arrived a quarter of an hour before breakfast ended, but the place was still full of families, there was no service. The place was full of leftovers,, The staff did not bother about the presence of visitors at the last minutes and they were removing the menu, we did not even get service at the table 😞😞 I was surprised by the presence of this Service and low. This level is in a five-star hotel 😕😕🤔🤔 Food was not available and the waiter did not offer us an alternative such as ordering from the menu, for example!! I do not recommend visiting it, the service is slow and bad, it does not reflect the training of employees to face the intensity of work,,

This is the third Intercontinental property Ive stayed at. The lobby and pool area is beautiful here. The room I had was ok compared to the other properties, though I loved my view.I went to the pool and enjoyed it immensely. The gentleman at the pool bar and the staff passing out towels were 5-star and the view was amazing!!I might have given the hotel overall a 5- star, but the ok room and the lack of customer service as I checked out knocked it down 1-star. I needed help with something during checking out, and the gentleman came off unwilling to help and unsympathetic about my frustration.But its a beautiful property, so dont let my one bad experience with one person during check-out deter you.

The location has both pros and cons. Its next to the large mall and promenade, which barely had any people on it, which is a nice, but further away from public transport, meaning getting around town requires a taxi. I stayed at both IC Festival City and IC Dubai Marina, and this property has larger rooms, larger bathrooms, better restaurant choices and generally more space.What it lacks (compared to IC Dubai Marina) is a mouthwash in bathroom amenity kit, and tea pot (or French press) for some in-room coffee and tea. The first one is not really a problem, considering theres a giant Carrefour at Festival Mall next door, the latter was provided when requested from housekeeping.The check-in took longer than expected - there was just one person working the front desk, and someone in front of me took forever. But from then on the experience was great. Anise is a must-try. I wish we could also try the seafood restaurant downstairs, but alas, the night I went there was my last night in Dubai, and it was closed for a private event. Next time for sure.

It’s always been my favorite place in Dubai but I haven’t been there for a while my visit this time was as good as I remember it still a place I won’t hesitate to chose everyone am in Dubai

The restaurant was light And easy on the eye. The woodhedge theme was nice. The food was good, the chef was very welcoming and offered details on my specific requirements. The staff were super helpful ,although scarce to find as it was a bit late in the day. The views of the creek are very good. Overall a very good experience. Do suggest a more indicative/visible signage will not necessitate support request for a firsttimer.

We received wow service immediately upon checking in. Anna received us pleasantly and before sending us to our booked room, said we were upgraded and this was so lovely as it was my sons birthday. What a way to make customer experience extra special.In every restaurant, the staff were so pleasant and knowledgeable, it made our experience smooth and relaxing to not think so much of what to order best.The hotel was so clean and the room so cozy, I am very particular with hygiene and checked the surfaces and was pleased with the standards of IHG. I had a wonderful experience at the InterContinental Dubai - Festival (IHG). The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing.  Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!

The room service vary slow, dont answer the phone, and if they answer it takes time at least 10 min When u ask room service for food for example, they said 20 min , but it takes at least 45 to 60 min!!!!! The room was was vary small , and I ask when I book to have a room in higher floor but they gave me a room in the lower floor, I called them , and they said they will calll back after speaking with the manager, and this didn’t happened. I kept calling every 30 min for 1 and half hours to change a room !!!! Vary bad room and customer service, not respecting even being a member !

I enjoyed my stay very much. I came for a conference in a nearby hotel and the location was perfect for me. I used the Intercontinental as a base for many of my meetings, and as my place of rest.The restaurant bouffe is very rich and all the food was high quality so I invited business partners for breakfast or dinner almost every day..The staff was friendly and service oriented, yet strict regarding Covid 19 masks in the public area, and I was glad they did.

Everything was great, but the spa was exceptionally great. The spa has a 30 min massage special and Elon was my masseuse. Elon found several knots in my back and brought me relief prior to my next flight

First of all I would like to thank Suzana from the front desk, she was really a great help and she changed my room to a great one. The location is great not far from everything. It has a great mall ( Dubai Festival City. the view from the room is fantastic. the off site parking is good easy access for self parking. Im ambassador for many years but this was my first time to know and use the benefits of the program. The only minor thing is that if you dont have a car then u have to use taxis because there is no metro station around.

Weve been here several times for pool days and every time has been a pleasure. The staff are really helpful and personable - they now remember us and go above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our time. Jony is amazing!

Best hotel experience. Foods are great and room is clean. We are located on the seaside overlooking the Burj Khalifa even too small from afar. 😅 . The staff are attentive and polite. In case I will visit Dubai againc, I will stay again here for sure. They have car service as well to tour you around the festival city.

I haven’t stayed at the hotel but I have swam in the swimming pool, which although isn’t a rooftop swimming pool (it’s on the 4th floor) offers a view really spectacular (Dubai Creek, Festival City mall, Mohammed bin Rashid public library, Intercontinental & Crown Plaza hotels etc.).The fee to use for non-guests is 99 AED, fully redeemable on food or the WiFi connection.It contains also a jacuzzi.

Not many warm places where to escape freeze and snow at these times. We have visited Dubai twice this Winter and both times Intercontinental Festival city has welcomed us very warm. It´s like go to home. Especially club lounge with lovely Maya and swimming pool area are our favorites in this hotel. Breakfast in club lounge and Anise restaurant is also very delicious. Good location near airport.

Not that good, TV had problem with the picture. Front desk who checked me in not experienced. Room had partial view different what he described. I understand he upgraded my room after I had to explain to him usually they upgrade based on my status if it is available.

Staying for a short visit I found the hotel quite good in most areas. The hotel was slow with my check-in but apart from that standards were good. I enjoyed the restaurant and staff were very polite. Overall I found the hotel functioned well and I enjoyed my stay.

When I arrived, a bellman snagged my luggage and gave me a tag so it could be delivered to my room. I reserved a Club Intercontinental King room. Being a Platinum Ambassador, I received an upgrade to a Club Intercontinental 1 bedroom suite. Sophia checked me in at the Club International desk. My assigned room was being sanitized when I arrived, so I waited in the club for their afternoon tea. About 30 minutes later my room was ready and was issued my keys.The room is quite large for a middle eastern hotel. I did a quick walk around when I walked into the room. My luggage arrived a short time later. I did a little bit of unpacking and got dressed to do a short run on the fitness trail behind the IC and Crown Plaza hotels. That is when I noticed the bed was a box spring with a 4 inch mattress topper on it. Really Intercontinental, a 5 star hotel that uses a mattress topper for it’s main mattress in it’s upscale rooms? The proper use of a mattress topper is for use on top of a complete mattress set (box spring and top mattress), not a stand alone mattress. I brought this to the attention of the check in desk and I was told that this is the standard bed for the club rooms. I tried to explain that I wanted a “normal” bed mattress in my room. The floor staff didn’t really understand and brought a sheet of plywood to put under the mattress topper. After this debacle, I requested a room change. After 45 minutes, I was notified there was another room on a different floor with a normal bed. They let me look at the room and I found it acceptable. The new room had a smaller bedroom and closet, but a much larger bathroom. The suite does have a powder room next to the front door.Club Intercontinental has breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. For breakfast you can order from the menu or eat a continental style breakfast from the breakfast bar. The menu is multicultural. Afternoon tea has tea, coffee or juice with the chef’s choice of the day canopies. Evening cocktails is a decent selection of liquor and wine with chef’s choice of the day finger food. There are several restaurants in the hotel. The IC Festival City is connected to the Festival City Mall via a walkway through what used to be Robinsons in the mall. The mall has multiple shops, restaurants and a large food court.IC Festival City is a bit off of the beaten path, so if you want to do any touristy things, you’ll have to take a taxi or Uber to get anywhere.I would like to recognize the following for their exceptional service during my stay:Club Intercontinental Desk: Sophia, SuzanneClub Intercontinental: Mya, GodshelpThe 24th floor cleaning staff

My first choice of hotels in Dubai and overseas. Best rooms, bathrooms and customer service. Staff are very friendly.

Comfortable beds. Mattress toppers seem to have been added which is a bonus when needing a restful sleep. Unfortunately, service wise the hotel have a lot to learn. We have bought this to their attention many times and yet mistakes are continuing to be made Simple service points are not being met. Cleanliness is not at a high standard (bins not being emptied, room service trays not being collected- despite many requests) Response times for the guests requests is unacceptable and staffing at the buffet is at an all time low. We waited over 1hour and 20 minutes for a kids beef burger which never arrived. We waited 25 minutes for our car (on 3 occasions) to arrive from valet. We waited 20 minutes at breakfast most days for simple items. There is no way near enough staff handling the buffet. You can wait anything from 1 to 15 minutes at each buffet area before being served.

We decided to stay for 2 nights at this property as we have not been traveling lately. From check inn to check out, our overall experience was very memorable. Breakfast at Anise Restaurent along with Afternoon Tea at Club Lounge followed by dinner at Anise Restaurent along with an upgrade to One Bedroom Suite, All these parameters accounted our stay to a memorable one. Not to forget, Ms. Nicole from the front desk was definitely very helpful

It was my first stay at this hotel of the entire chain of Intercon . I was very pleased with stay although I was there only for one day. The room are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. You feel like don’t want to leave them in morning. It is a great getaway for the local residence who are looking for a break of the daily routine specially for the ones who are still working remotely. The staff were great , we had an issue with the toilet and it got solved with in 30 minutes of my call. The operator asked the right question to figure out what did we face in order to send the right person to solve it in a short time, she didn’t just say I will send someone to look what is wrong. I really liked her approach. I can’t wait to have another staycation hopefully for more than a day to enjoy breakfast, in room dining and the spa

This is now my favourite hotel in Dubai.The service was amazing. The room was clean and the bed felt like you were sleeping on soft fluffy pillows. Tea time at the club lounge was my favourite and I looked forward to it ever day while I was here. The greeting at the club lounge with watermelon juice was a great start to a great stay. Highly recommend to stay here while visiting Dubai.

Thanks to all the staff in Anise’s restaurant they were helpful, finally the SPA team, it was an amazing experience.Being in the Club Signature Suite is a great experience and it is enjoyable and unforgettable for couple and family, I really recommended.In our holiday in the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City, we have an amazing experience, and unforgettable moments in the SPA, we had a warm welcome by Anjilyn she finished our registration very quickly, then two female therapists Nikky and Patty take us to the dedicated therapist room for couples and it was nicely designed, which was equipped with nice furniture and slow relaxing music, we enjoyed me and my wife in our wedding anniversary for 90 minutes Signature massage from a professional female therapist Nikky and Patty.In the end, Anjilyn brings us the Ginger warm Tea, and to ensure that everything was met as our expectations, and yes indeed it exceeded our expectations.The next day we made a nice Feet Message and Pedicure done by professional females Myrna and Intan it was a nice experience were we spent almost an hour and the result was amazing :)Thanks to all the SPA team for making our holiday great with joy and happiness.

My cousin and I spent one night for leisure and to get away from work, and I must say that everything was excellent. Starting with its location the hotel was close for me and other landmarks such as Burj Khalifa and the festival city which is connected to the hotel. The rooms were spacious and surprisingly very comfortable. InterContinental Hotel offers lots of facilities such as free wifi, pool, gym and many more. In my opinion, I would recommend this hotel to everyone as its prices are reasonable and is suitable for everyone.

Intercontinental isn’t as good as it was before. We went to intercontinental before; local and during travels. It lost its touch.The food isn’t as good as it was before. Please review and update the services and the policies. The difficulties and the management issues are understandable of course.

My first afternoon tea experience was great!The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The food was tasty and we were presented with a variety of items to choose from.

First i wait one hout to book second the room were not ready third the service is bad 4th buffet was not as i expected the guy told me that we closed and another guy came and order and he made his order 5th bed was smaller than i expected 6th the couch cause me a back pain i didnt lije the stay at all i hope you see this point and fix itv

Excellent style and service at this hotel thats a short ride from the airport. Rooms are well laid out with excellent bathrooms. The Festival City Mall next door means shopping, dining and entertainment is within walking distance. Ive been here twice this year, and will be coming back again.

We had a memorable NYE as were able to watch fireworks display from our room.Added pleasure was the Club Lounge offer as well as the service by the lounge staff especially to Abner, Karim, Kim and Mariateresa who were very accommodating and provided excellent service.Just a suggestion to improve the bell service, room service and housekeeping to be more attentive to details and treat all guests better like how the Club Lounge personnel dealt with us. The above mentioned lounge staff made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.Kudos and Happy New Year!

From the arrival to the check out excellent service at the hotel. Covid measures been in place. The rooms been big and well maintained. Hotel offer good facility with gym, pool with kids pool. The restaurants are having good options for family with kids. Huge breakfast and dinner buffet. The Club lounge is excellent, giving some quite and nice breakfast alternative options with very friendly staff. Would recommend for business as for leisure traveler. Certainly also for families.

This is definitely the best Hotel in town!It is perfect from all aspects.Extremely helpful and friendly staff and very accommodating.Our go to guy is Mr Ahmed Rida from the front desk. He is a genius and knows how to make the best out of your stay.You have to buy the ambassador membership which grants you automatic room upgrades every stay and give you guaranteed late check out every time.Hotel is attached to the Festival City Mall so you don’t need to worry about the Dubai traffic jam.If you book a club room you get upgraded to a club suite (if you have bought the membership $200 totally worth it!) which comes with Club Lounge access and you get a dedicated check in area as well as afternoon tea and dinner snacks in the lounge.All staff are really very helpful and super friendly.A definite recommendation for families

I was really pleased with the excellent overall experience made. All of the staff been very friendly and always happy to help. A special thanks to all staff of the club. I shall return.

Very friendly staff and helpful and the most important thing is the COVID-19 precautions as the sanitize all your bags before checking in with perfect hygiene processes and cleaning.I felt kind of secured with the amazing precautions.The hotel connected with festival city mall .... so no need for taxi.Amazing view.

This is my to-go place. I cant get enough of this place. Been to all restaurant and coffee places. There is Choix, amazing afternoon tea with a deal for two. Then there is Anees; international cusine buffet and Karam Al Bahr; Lebanese sea food place!!!

As a Royal Ambassador I was very disappointed ted not to get my minibar allowance as per my benefit. I understand you leave the minibar empty due covid regulation and I understand my allowance was 180 local money per day, however once I requested from the drink menu 2 glass of prosecco valued 120 local money, I got told I could not get it, despite were below the allowance. I came to this same hotel 2 weeks before for 2 nights, nobody mentioned about my allowance at all, therefore over 3 nights I got nothing. I think is not point give some benefits if then you cant fulfil your best customers requests.

I have been visiting this hotel for the last few years and still have a sort of special connections with it .I do highly recommend it . very professional l staff , good service , all aspects related to Covid-19 protection protocols were applied .I thank the management for such excellent service .
