The receptionists arent so friendly or helpful and dont expect any free WiFi unless you are a checked in guest.The food and beverages department is amazing,served on time and mouth watering.The recreation has a lot to offer from the pools and pool bars,to open water sports and slides.

Amazing child friendly hotel. All inclusive (buffet: breakfast, lunch and dinner). Snacks, drinks throughout the day. My family and I had a blast! Amazing child activities and sports activities for all ages. Thank you Riu hotel dubai for a lovely stay! Friendly easy going staff. Water slides and splash pad, several pools and a lovely beach where the water is not deep for a while so kids can feel comfortable swimming.

It was a great stay. Let me start from check in around 4pm 29/07/2021.( Room# 5012) We have booked for 2 nights. Myself, my wife & daughter. We had wonderful time at Riu hotel . water sports, pedal boating, food all were superb. Will come again. I request all to book this hotel for 2 nights if you want to enjoy whole facilities of the hotel & resort.

The all inclusive deal is great although the menu can include more vegetarian options as there are almost just handful of items for a vegetarian. The drinks were superb especially the wines served along with the food. The splash pool was fun for everyone but the timings are really odd from 10 am to 6pm considering the heat in the current season. I think the management can consider looking at extending the evening time of closing more closer to 8pm. That way guests who check in at 4pm(hotels check in time) can use the facility completely.It was a good experience for us but hope to see some changes the next time we return😊

Super family friendly. Quite many kids entertainment facilities & all day activities and animations.Food quality is very decent. Your kids will be happy as there’s always Pizza and nuggets 😃.Pools are not temperature controlled, fine for early swim but not quite pleasant when swimming afternoon.

I stayed Two days with my family, the hotel was good choice to stay with kids, they have amazing kids water play area and many swimming pools, Also the beach is clean. After checking in every thing you eat or drink in included with the room. In addition I tried to reserve a table in the Lebanese restaurant they rejected without any mentioned reason, also the room was little dusty and in the bathroom there were two used toothbrushes in the dental kit. those two things disappointed me.Overall, me and my family enjoyed our stay.

Very calm and silent place from routine fast life. Kids enjoy the beach and pool. Excellent staff and room service. Food is good. Beach keeps your kids busy. No shops around.

Went to the hotel with my family, and we were all surprised how amazing the hotel is. The hotel has everything you want from food to play area. There is all inclusive regarding food and beverages. In addition, there are water park, swimming pool, and sea for adults and kids to enjoy. In addition, the team from top to bottom were very helpful. To summarise, you will be paying less than the experience you will get.

It is a nice hotel considering it is a four star, brand new, food is amazing, friendly and wonderful stuff. And nice swimming pools with small water park.Kids definitely will enjoy and not to mention the all inclusive.However, i didnt like what there is no slots available for parking! But hotel with limited parking slots !And u need to go through the reception if u want to go to the beach or pools from ur room.And there is no bathrobes!.But well recommend

The hotel facilities are very good, the buffet in restaurant was good as well. But we got bad experience in their splash park. My daughter was sliding in the water slide, and the staff allowed to slide in the same water slide another man while my daughter was still sliding down, and he hit my daughter on her backbones, she got back pain whole afternoon. My child got a shock from pain and from that situation. My husband complained to the manager of splash Park. The only thing what he said its just sorry. No offer to check my daughter backbones by nurse, no offer to help find doctor, nothing was offered. We got very very bad experience.The staff of water park doesnt do their job properly. We felt very bad. We paid money to stay in hotel to enjoy with my kids by what we got its just disappointment from staying in Riu hotel. And when we asked in reception to do late checkout the receptionist was rude, pointing on the police of check out. When my husband asked to speak to manager, receptionist asked- why do you want to speak to manager? The answer will be same. We cannot do later that 1pm checkout. Next day we was ready to checkout at 12:45 as the receptionist said. But we sat in the room 1 hour more waiting when they will send some one to help with luggage. Almost at 2pm we was happily leving hotel.

1st day! Hotel is absolutely perfect and all services around...extra-ordinaire:-) They just cannot manage the wheather outside,but I think,one day they will...

The service was really bad, when we fist arrived a guy came and took our bags and when we reached the room he wouldn’t go out without a tip, and then even if the check in time was at 4, we arrived at 5 and they said they were still cleaning the room, and when we went to eat dinner, there was a bald waitress always staring which was so uncomfortable in my opinion and when we left that same guy that took our bags to the car would follow us till the car asking for tip, in my experience in many other hotels I’ve never experienced such rude behavior.I do not recommend this hotel !

Enjoyed our staycation there. The package provided was amazing. Value for money. Plus the quality of service was above expectations. Friendly staffs and nice spread of food. We took the ocean view and full board. Will recommend this place.

It was NOT 24 hour as advertised. The bar and snacks were not available after a certain time at night. 2 of the pools were not cooled and were too warm. The food was nice though and the drinks were acceptable - Amstel on tap. Red wine was very decent for a house red and the cocktails were good. Just felt cheated because it was heavily advertised as having 24 hour F&B and it was not. Rooms were good. Beds super comfortable. All very clean. Social distancing appropriately catered for. Animation guy didnt have enough noodles so my daughter couldnt join in the pool activity. Room Mini bar was dry. TV did not have access to the football (euros) we wanted to watch. Service was good.

The hotel is brand new, the rooms are nice, at least no carpets! Which is amazing because it doesnt cause allergy and its cleaner. The stuff are very welcoming. Food is acceptable. HOWEVER, the pools are NOT CHILLED! The showers are HOT like boiling water! We honestly felt very disappointed with the pools and showers .. first time in our lives we go to a hotel with not chilled pools! We were barbecuing.

The hotel is brand new, big resort all inclusive; amazing facilities and big enough to avoid crowds, the service was very good apart from the coffee in the restaurant, long queues.The quality of the food is better than other places that have buffets too, but less options. The portions were small but better, there is no waste of food which is really good. 3 pools and a water park for the little ones, very accessible and easy for the children to enjoy, the rides are good too, dark from the inside with neon lights and an unexpected twist at the end.

The food was great and all the staff were really lovely and helpful! But during summer in Dubai where it is boiling we were surprised that 2 out of 3 pools were hot!! It was like getting into a bath which was not ideal,This meant everyone at the hotel had to use one pool and it was waaay over crowded and far to many people in one pool. The entertainment was great on the Thursday night and during the day but the Friday quiz was a real let down as it just didn’t have the same energy at all as the karaoke night maybe it would be fun to do the karaoke night Thursday and Friday as everyone seemed to love that and had a brilliant night and weekends you want to have fun and giggle with your friends. The food in the Italian restaurant was delicious but let down by the super bright lights which ruined the atmosphere. The deal is very good for all inclusive especially with the water sports being included and the food was great but the water sports don’t open until 9am and by that time is was already so hot so you couldn’t enjoy it! definitely some things to improve.

Better variety of food is needed. The same menu daily gets really boring very quickly.Also needed are out door cooling units, to compensate for the constant heat.

Disappointing services, inefficient staff under-informing us with resort facilities and requirements to use them. In particular the manager of the Italian restaurant was extremely rude, did not know.how to speak to resort guests to the point where in he threatened of calling security and referred to us by our nationality. It was very upsetting. Resort states we need to make restaurant reservations and let me remind you we are in a beach resort but they expect you to wear trousers or jeans with shoes and walk through the beach to get to their restaurant. ( P.s. we werent informed about this but were refused entry to a restaurant at the resort) overall I will not and do not recommend visiting Riu in Dubai

What they don’t tell you:- Pools temperature is not controlled, its like having a jacuzzi dip in a 43 degrees weather, aside from these ones I don’t think there is still a pool in Dubai that isn’t temperature controlled.- It’s not all inclusive 24 hours as promoted, all activities and restaurants operate in certain hours, and once you arrived they give you the booking instructions printed on a paper.- Restaurants require prior booking, and they’re fully booked most of the times, I paid for a meal in a restaurant that I couldn’t get because it was simply fully booked, although I tried to book my dinner ahead of time during the check-in but no spaces were available, not sure if I should’ve made the booking before arriving at the hotel!!- Reception don’t answer your calls. They even reject the call some times.- The beach isn’t the best in Dubai, it is rocky and not tranquil as promoted- I don’t think it’s a good value for money, for the same amount you can get an offer at a nice 5 starts hotel where you can at least enjoy a chilled pool.

Waste of money, I booked a junior suite and upon checking in it turned to be 1 and half rooms with one shared TV and one shared bathroom, upon complaining they said in our terminology a junior suite is two connected rooms SERIOUSLY!!!!!!My advise to everyone dont get fooled by the wow prices they offer.... All are fake.Food quality is very poor 2/10Staff are friendly 8/10Poor management 1/10After getting a reply from Riu on my first review which was very disappointing, I will never use RIU again either in UAE or any other country.

Most of the staff members are friendly and indeed felt like family. I would love to mention a super staff member , her name is Rebecca! - she was super friendly and welcoming , you could almost see her smile through the mask!She definitely had me smiling and happy staff always makes a happy stay. Not many parking places for a hotel that has so many rooms. Water in the pools is not cooled and during summer days it feels like a pond. Food is average. Water slides are cool for kids.

I like the location of the hotel as it is located in a quiet area of the city. Excellent location within the city at Diera Palm Island, and at the same time close to many attractions where you need a taxi to go around as the artificial island is still under construction. Staff of the hotel are very friendly and the hotel is all inclusive.

Really a great stay for a special Easter!We spent 4 days in this hotel last week....all inclusive!That was what we needed...enjoyed the hotel with our kids. Pools, drinks, entertainment, slide and baby water parc, rooms amenities...everything was perfect! Saturday night we booked at the Italian restaurant, we are Italians, and I can sincerely give a positive review to this restaurant and bravo lo chef!The quality was excellent!We checked out in the morning but we enjoyed the hotel til late afternoon...kids didnt like the idea to live the place thats why well come back soon :) thanks for everything

It was alright, food was nice i wished you would change the food everyday rather than the same food... I wasnt allowed on the waterpark because of my swim suit, I dont see how a small zipper can scratch the slides, The pools arent deep at all. Its clean ill give you that

Beautiful hotel amazing staff but all the pools have no chiller which come June are just like sitting in a bath...13 years in dubai and have never known a hotel who doesnt have a chiller for the pool where daily temps in the summer reach 50 degrees actually after a couple of hours in sun and sitting in a hot pool felt sick thank god for air con in room because thats where we will spend our vacation...all that money spent on a hotel then chill your pools because you will loose customers 😒

It was actually a last minute decision, when we googled and saw this all inclusive hotel lying in the heart of deira Island, When we checked into this hotel , we love the way by which we were welcomed , although the checkin was delayed , but we got a bangle to relaxe in the bar ,that we would be called shortly , the menu is not the best ,but you will surely see something you crave for waiting for you .The note been given to us was not actually needed because we scouted the whole hotel in just a day . 6 bars,4 restaurant ,kids play area bundled with water front, gym,sauna and spa.The restaurant booked for the dinner was amazing and the staff were beyond service .I noticed a gent by the name Micheal, who we saw his name in the google/tripadvisor twice came towards us and offered a greeting ,after a little conversation he assured us that he will be taking very good care of us.we enjoyed both the service by him and the entertainment. Best experience for staycation. We booked it for one night but later regretted that we should have spend more time on this lovely new property.This is all inclusive hotel where all 3 meals rather everything is free once u check in.The have a nice water park for kids and adults but dont book it on Sunday as this is usually close on that date due to maintenance.Kayaking and pedal boats are also available and included in your stay.They have indoor sports area and various lounges with snacks and drinks available till late in the night.Hotel staff is courteous and always willing to help and guide.The highlight is the variety in buffet available with kids menu as well. Rooms are spacious with balconies overseeing the lovely Sea ⛵⛵⛵.All in all a different concept of staycation and must visit

The hotel is nice, may be better for a family with kids, specially with the small water park and the all-inclusive deals.However, for couples it may not be the best option. It is busy with many children playing around in the hotel, swimming pools and restaurants.The food is average, compared to other 4 and 5 stars hotels. Very lean in terms of cleanliness, but I hope they improve the quality and taste.2 of the 3 Swimming pools have warm water (which is strange, keeping in mind that it was August and people seek an escape from hot weather), and the cooled one is busy. However, there were enough spaces in terms of COVID measures.No Valet parking. Keep that in mind.You feel that The hotel is kind of understaffed.But, more importantly, all the staff are soo polite, smiling, doing their best to make you comfortable and trying their best to keep you pleased. Thanks to all of them from the receptionists, to the restaurant manager and staff, to the life-guards at the swimming pools, as well as the gentlemen of the cleaning staff.As it was my birthday, we got a complementary cute small cake (without me asking, it was due to the sharp observation of the nice lady at the reception, unfortunately I forgot her name).The stay was nice overall.. I believe the previous period of low business due to COVID affected the hotel. I hope when business picks up, the management considers further improvements and adding more staff. The hotel has a huge potential to be among the best.Edit: forgot to mention that the rooms were simple but very clean, sea view was lovely, and the design of the hotel is really nice.

All staff was very nice. Food was good. Only jellyfish in the sea were very unpleasent. Can you get some net to the sea for safety. Some jellyfish were big.

Draw Backs - kids need to have seperate activites and areas. Should have 1 pool strictly for adults. Better choices for Alcohol (Blender needed). Finally more irons and ironing boards.

Location - staff - specially Mr Sandeep ,the duty manager , are excellent .Food is super and variableNice Aqua park for the kids , variable swimming pools of different sizes with open bars.Sea activities.You can nearly eat all the day and can utilise all the facilities once you get the braceletNice family placeThe only defect may be the room space which is optimum for a family of four members . More than that is a little bit hardly convenient.

Worst. Experience. Ever. The room had a leak and wasn’t resolved for 4 hours (until I checked out the puddle was still there). Zero social distancing. Pool not temperature controlled. The staff have ZERO customer service. One security guard caused a scene only for a manager to do the same!!! Checked out 3 hours after demanding a refund.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was the all inclusive package and honestly soooooo worth it. The main restaurant was great with a huge variety - as a vegetarian I always get stuck with only one or two options but here there was so many so I was extremely happy. Staff were all so friendly and helpful! The beach is beautiful and the splash park is great for toddlers and adults. I now wish we booked longer than one night. Will definitely return 🌸🌸

The hotel and main restaurant is nice but the night club Shamal is the worst I have ever experienced. They let children enter at 11pm and midnight but they did not let us in saying the club is full. I have never in my life experienced anything like this. This should be illegal as it is in most European countries.

Riu is nice hotel and resort but it need more cleaning in their common washroom and iron facility should be there else everything is just perfect

Very basic hotel, not at all 4* standard. So crowded. not at all social distance is maintained. Room quality is very poor. it is basic tilled flooring. Food quality is very poor. They have few restaurants other than main restaurant, but always informed by reception booking is full. When we go there not even 40% occupied. Purely promoting liquor. No Dubai rules are followed. They says it is RIU rules.Staffs are not at all cooperative. We received our room at 4.30PM and wants us to vacate the room by 11am??. Even there was no water in the room. only two pillows for couple room. Very flat pillows. no room service at all. Reception does not answer to calls. you will not get anything supplied to room.Very disappointing stay.....

Very good resort it is all inclusive everything everywhere is free of charge you only pay once in the reception overall everything was good and staffs were very friendly and kind helpful. Thanks to the Chef Khalil in the Lebanese restaurant. I will surely come again here next time and stay for 2 or 3 days it even has splash water park which is available for adults and kids and as well as infants . I recommend this resort for families and couples.

I am struggling to understand how this hotel got a rating of 4?!Where do I start?Rooms were okLunch was shockingly bad. Food was terrible. Buffet was like feeding time at the zoo. Such a frenzy of people trying to eat bad food?!Pool was warmNo service - had to get your own drinks from the bar. Pre mixed cocktails. AWFUL.NO MUSIC by the pool, perhaps they don’t want to attract a party kind of vibe but come on!All 3 pools packed with kids screaming and shouting - maybe the hotel is more catered towards families?Sports bar - again ZERO atmosphereWe booked dinner at the ‘The Moon’ thinking it would be better than lunch. But no it was also a very very poor buffet. Quality of the food was just so so bad. It may seem that it’s worth it as it’s an all inclusive but the food and drinks is so bad that it really isn’t. Please avoid guys.

An amazing experience , at first we thought it was too pricey but then we were amazed by the hotel’s amenities.The three swimming pools , splash water park and white sand beach kept you entertained no matter what.The staff were very kind at all times.It was worth it to upgrade to sea view rooms too.We had a karaoke , sports bar,poolside bars , boating and many more.We had a buffet that had every food and dessert one could imagine.We had four meals(breakfast,lunch,snack,dinner).It was an amazing experience and we miss it a lot , and it is sure worth the money

I came with my husband during EID holidays. We had a really good time. Amazing aqua fit and pool facilities. Food is diverse! I want to give a special thanks to PEM. This lady gave us the best service, she was attentive, polite and took care of everyone she served.I used to be a flight attendant and visited more than 500 hotels for business and also private and I must say I never experienced this high class service like we received from PEM. She caught my attention while she was serving others and she wasn’t only with us that way but with everyone! She really deserves to be in a higher position. I would come back to this hotel only for staff like her. She makes the stay of everyone special. I saw many people going to her and saying bye.We will def come back!

It was a bad experience. Reception staff is Rude and dont want to co-operate. Internet is a big problem there....1 room 2 devices allowed to access wifi. Food is a big big issue .....they dont let you try other cusines.....you need to make a reservation for other restaurants in Hotel.....we requested a table for next day and the reply was same ....Sorry restaurant is fully booked for tomorrow and also day after tomorrow .Big no no for RIU Dubai

We were very surprised to see the size of the hotel - Very big and spacious.We saw the ads of the hotel in Jan and was also informed by a relative of the affordable rates. Due to the COVID travel restrictions, we decided to do a couple of staycations. We opted for the Double Room with partial sea view with All Inclusive Alcohol package. Our room was not all that spacious. It had one king bed and the 2 seater sofa bed. But although not spacious it was quaint and comfortable. The bathroom was clean with double sink and bath tub.The Hotel has its own mini water park called Splash Water World. Additionally it has 3 swimming pools as well. All the pools were a few steps away from the 2 bars that served up wonderful mocktails and cocktails.The for dinner it is important to make reservations which we were already informed at check in that the reservation were full and the only place available was the buffet restaurant. The spread for dinner, breakfast and lunch were a good variety.Overall we were very happy enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We will definitely come again.

All inclusive.very clean.staff so easy going and friendly.Kids play all day.Water sport available for free too.The buffet needs more variation but still was good.Now my only issue was that the kids water park closed to early 5pm!.Then the regular pools at 7pm.Dubai it’s too hot in the day so pools should close a bit later.And I wish they have an outdoor playground for the kids for the night time instead of staying inside where the pooltable is .We will come back inshala

There were many issues with the All inclusive Package . Not what was expected when compared to other properties offering the same service.Certain experiences is what a Hotel has to offer. Alot to learn and change for RIU . The only good thing was that the staff being courteous/friendly. The rooms were very clean and the most important the air conditioning worked well especially during Summer. Thnx

I loved staying there , it was very good but not excellentthe staff were very welcomingThe food the lunch and dinner were fine but the breakfast was averageThe facilities were very good 3 swimming pools and the splash area was perfect for the kidsWhat i didn’t like at all1-was the water in the pool and splash area it was very very annoyingly hot as they aren’t cooling it at all2-The splash area is closing at 5 which is weird cause the pool is closing at 7But as overall it was a good experience

Lovely hotel in terms of swimming pool and beach but I have never tasted food as bad and poor quality as this before.Although it is all inclusive, please do not expect to eat much. Our first meal left us feeling unwell and we tried a different restaurant for dinner and although it was a little better the quality was still shocking. We ended up leaving early in the morning to eat a nice breakfast somewhere else.On the plus side, drinks were flowing all day in plastic cups albeit a limited menu and the entertainment was enjoyable (karaoke night if you’re into that).Will not be rushing back anytime soon as I am sure there are much better options available in Dubai!

A marvelous veiw of sea on a man made island will take to another world.

1- There are no waiters that circulate around the pools2- youll have to always walk to the bar to grab your drink - they say its because of covid, but we all know whats happening here!3- they dont allow you to enjoy any drink by the pool, alcoholic or non-alcoholic4- there are three pools. But in reality, theres only 1. The othet two are not temperature regulated, which means theyre more of a jacuzzi than a swimming pool5- the servers at the buffets have zero knowledge of what theyre serving.6- the AC in the rooms is very loud7- the crowd consists of families8- no adults only pool9- no music by the pool10- RIU arts never happened

Wonderful property to spend time with family . Childrens have splash to engage with well maintained swimming pool and open beach with activities. Food was excellent n unlimited beverage for adults. Worth a spend..

*Amazing Hospitality, keep up the good work’*We were so much thrilled to visit the Amazing concept by RIU HOTEL Dubai overlooking Beach.Cleanliness-A++Service-A+++++Food-A++Presentation-A++Restaurants were amazing equally the service provided by the staff. Though its crowded and sometimes misled. It wasnt the only individual but took their responsibility solely. I would mention ‘Sumitra’s ‘help that was very polite and helpful all the time her tremendous effort made us happy while enjoying our meals very helpful remarkable and also at the sushi counter chefs were funny and helpfull and we enjoyed . I would recommend RIU HOTELS DUBAI to the world.amazing hospitality keep up the good work.

Nice 4 stars hotel with All Inclusive meal plan in Dubai

Booked and stayed 7 nights. August 1st - AugustOverall rating: 8/10.Positives Points:1- All resort staff are very friendly (reception, restaurants, bars and pools…)2- Checked in early (12:30), and room was ready.3- Rooms are clean and spacious. Very nice view to the pools and beach. Relaxing beds.4- Room service guys are very nice and they clean well.5- All inclusive formula is nice. Great value.6- Resort is new and clean.7- Water park for kids is great. The kids enjoyed it a lot. Even tue slide for Adults and crown ups.8- Every day there is a show for kids in the theater 20:00 to 21:00, kids enjoying it a lot.9- There are three restaurants, Asian, Lebanese and Italian, which requires booking ahead of time, in addition to the main restaurant. All buffet restaurants.10- Food quality is good and there is a variety of it.11- Restaurants are clean.12- The big swimming pool next to the water park is cooled. So you will not feel the heat of the weather, pool depth from 0.6 meter to 1.5 meter. Reaming 2 swimming pools depth from 0.5 to 1.2 meter.13- Kids club; nice for activities. Limited to 6 kids for COVID protocols.14- Aqua Gym every day 11:45-12:30 in day in the main pool with mr Akona- Matchacha 🙂, great and fun. There is as well daily sport-yoga class.15- Water activities, pedaling boats, Kayak…, all for free in the beach.16- there is covered parking for cars, but not enough when resort is full especially on weekends.….. and some more.Recommended for families especially.Need improvement / suggestions / negative points:1- Two of the swimming pools water is hot, so you will not enjoy really.2- No covered pool, as the weather is very hot, it will be great to have at least one of the pools with cover/shelter.3- Have shelter for car parking outside.4- Pools closes at 19:00, water park at 17:00.5- Better cleaning for the cups at the pool bars is needed.6- The drinking water served in the restaurants not really good, has some taste. But there are bottled water in the rooms.Definitely will return again.

Front desk is totally unprofessional, we had a booking conflict for my child as they decided to charge for his stay although it’s not mentioned in our booking terms so the front desk manger stated “We will not let you check in unless you pay for the kid”knowing that our booking is fully paid for the premium package and finally they forced us to pay or to leave so we paid for the kid extra overcharge .Hotel amenities are very compromised, rules are not clear so get ready for lots of extra charges , internet is too slow , during weekends it’s almost a jammed shopping hypermarket!! Avoid .No safe guard in kids area as mentioned in announcement boards , you need to queue everywhere starting from check in till pool bars and restaurants.Speciality Restaurants are always fully booked so you’ve got only the main restaurant available.We requested for a repair for the room safe and it took them more than an hour to fix it after calling many times and finally going personally to hotel lobby to get someone.If you call their landline they tell you that’s reservation Centre in Mexico, try to call again !!Overall very dull experience.. don’t get excited for the all inclusive package as most of the offered stuff are poor quality.August 2021

Riu hotel in the heart of Deira Palm .. All inclusive type of Hotel ..Great for #family and couples .. 3 swimming pools with outstanding beach .. 3 bars on the pools and 5 Restaurants (I advice to try the Lebanese and the Italian Resturant as they get booked fast so try to book early);There is 2 areas water parks (one for adults and one for kids)Nice experience 👌
