If you are traveling on a business trip and all you are doing is shopping for your goods to be shipped back to your country this is the place to stay. So close to the awesome wholesale shopping areas this is the place to stay. It’s cheap and definitely the best in the budget area. I would recommend anyone to stay here if they are looking for a budget option while doing business.

It is very cheap, they have lot of pubs (South Indian, Nepali, Malayali,Pancho villas) the pblm is you don’t have peace of mind as the crowd which comes here are very unhygienic and don’t behave properly. Done ever go with ladies from your gang,

Had the most uncomfortable feeling as bengali men harassed me and my family asking weather we want woman,it is their job but like plz also look at whom they are asking, second time i came this boy started hitting me,thank god he had people with him or else he would have not lived

Astoria charged me extra, with no explanation, Initially I made booking for 2 adults for 1 day through booking.com, but I had no companion with me, I was alone, later on on 10th June evening a guest joined me and left the hotel on 11th morning, till there it was all ok, further to that, I had to extend my stay for another day, and the staff at reception advised me he will make booking for me directly, no need to go through booking.com, later on another guest joined me on the day which I extended, the night shift staff at the reception didn’t allow my guest to enter the room UnTill I paid an extra charge of 50aed, which was not at all a valid charge. That’s why I would rate the management as 1 star. Very dissatisfied and I would not recommend Astoria hotel to anyone even for a half day stay.

I was stayed in this hotel for 1 day . That experience was horrible . Wifi not working I was complain many times but no body come . Cleaniness was too bad that blanket was dirty .Im not recommend.

The hotel is pretty old like 50 years old it’s seems and furniture is dead almost the room where I was staying was absolutely bad.. had to manage it over all it’s bad I ll never recommend.. and it’s surrounded with pimps. Respected person can’t stay with family here

The bar which went on the ground floor. On your right was good but not the the serviceOrder for henikien beer but got it in the budwiizer glass .Came out to check out for something. New on my left side of the main enterance . The guard there african was very rude .Frist he wasnt in his place .Then with a very rude tone spoke to us. As if we dont have money which we arready spent so much at two bars on the ground floor and the top floor .Thought we are poor and have no money to afford it .Well we , I come from a hospitality service industry as well and from a very high hospitality service companymy colleague and myself was treat in a very rude accent and very bad behaviour. Which is not acceptable. And the guy said thats me. To be more .he said thats my attitude .it the way I see customers .What may come. A customer walks into you hotel, your restraints must be give equal to every one that walks in. They pay for their service. Which is our right. To be served the same way .Nothing comes free right .I have been there several times my friends said its a nice relaxing and friendly atmostfere place to be .I did in form the receptionist as well. Will speak to your duty manager as well.Please look into this and action this .Or else ,it will just rouvin this place .which has had a good name .RegardsRichard wilson .

Old building but good in budget

There is no individual ironing board,hair dryer and cup board hangers and bathroom chappals and service is also not satisfactory even I saw before 2011.

The shower was completely broken. No pressure in the water. Always hot water no cold water. Did not feel like im taking a shower in Hotel. Bad experience.

Rooms are old , too much noise coming from outside.Not recommend for family trip.

This Hotel is 3 Star & the service is Good with neat & clean rooms but having an issue of bed bugs which is irritating and WiFi connection is also available (but its little bit slow) along with Laundry, Meals etc.. Giving 3 star because the is nice.

Worst hotel experience ever.! Its an old building with no proper ventilation. Its a pick up point. Avoid staying here with families. The staff is not courteous except the one at reception. The rooms are smelly and AC is not functioning properly. Its old. You will feel like you are living in 1980s. The shower also dont have proper pressures. Avoid staying here. I had bed bugs biting all over me. I requested them to change the room, they refused. One star extra given only for location.

Very old hotel established over 40 years ago now owned by Sindhis of Mumbai, reasonable facilities considering the years that have by gone, no opulence or class fixtures, but a decent middle end hotel. Has dance bars, live shows, billiard table, hookah, pub with quality drinks, belly dance for a 50 AED entrance fee which fetches you a drink free as well. African bouncers are watching!!😎

Location OK. But seen like this hotel 99% service Indian only. Breakfast only Indian food. And the night club very lound. We cant sleep until 3am in the morning. Hotel old, size of the room OK. But can hear xx sound from your neighbours. Hehe
