How this hotel is 4 stars is beyond me! Most hotels in Dubai offer the basics and there is some level of expectation. This place struggles on both accounts. Mosque outside that blares hymns on a megaphone at 5am each morning. Not the hotels fault but something to consider if you stay for work. Rooms are antiquated and are missing some key features. No kettle, hairdryer, minimal hygiene essentials etc. Room service and house keeping never answer the phone. I ordered takeaway food so needed cutlery and a plate but was told they cant provide because I didnt order from the hotels restaurant. When making any request, youre lucky if someone ever gets back to you. Charging port my bathroom didnt work so I couldnt charge toothbrush or shaver. This place is a kip compared to anywhere else in Dubai so youd be foolish to stay here... 100s of better options. I could go on, just dont bother.

They didnt provide basic amenities like kettle and tea/coffee, cleanliness is poor e.g. telephone handle not cleaned , no sanitizer available, hotel feels old, curtains dirty,, etc Not suitable for solo lady traveller.

I booked a room and the room number 420 but there was no remote contorted the tv. Since I checked in I kept called the reception to send the remote control and an extra towel. And the receptionist was so busy I guess cos they couldn’t pick the calls or I guess hotel staff are not enough. I wanted to speak the the manager but they didn’t allow me. Thanks for the hospitality but NEVER AGAIN…..

Since the checkin 2pm, toiletries are not complete. Only ONE TOWEL was given and upon calling they informed that ALL towels are still in the Laundry and we have to wait till evening. At 7pm we need to call many times and even come to reception to give us 2SET of towels, after an hour they sent 1TOWEL(not set) only. Even repeating this request to the housekeeping, no one came after.No even dental kit provided with the toiletries and reception even confirmed it’s not included.Mentioned amenities are not complete as stated in Booking.comNo kettleNO COMPLIMENTARY coffee evenNo hairdryerFully disappointed during my stay and will not totally recommend to anyone.

Great hotel and excellent service. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Good breakfast with local food. Everything is perfectly clean. The pool is great for sunbathing and chilling. I would definitely come again! Thank you for a great stay!

I have stayed in this hotel 3 years ago and again another time 2 years ago when it was called Ramada Chelsea, it was a great and affordable option. My most recent stay was a disaster however, and I was not surprised to know that the management had changed, which figures why the experience is different now. I booked a King Deluxe room for a higher rate than the Deluxe room, but Essam at the reception told me that they are the same thing, and that this was an error on Trip.coms end, and did not either compensate or try to mend the issue, he told me to call them and resolve it myself. Add to that the fire alarm going off at 5 AM three times this week which the management said was because of smoking, but come on, it is obvious its a technical issue. The room needs maintenance and the iron is not functional plus the bathtub is slightly chipped. Brilliant stay to say the least, and I will obviously be recommending this spot to people I do not like in the future! :D

The worst experience ever!!!! The hotel not clean overall, the bed, the sheet and the pillows super dirty!!! They have the worst customer service ever!! They dont provide even the small and the basics items which is should be provided in any hotel like brush, tooth paste and even the waters I got thirsty middle of the night and called them to provide me water! They refused and said only u allowed to have 2 bottles of waters per day! Otherwise its rechargeable!!!!!!!!! We asked to talk with the supervisor as we said he will help ! He was worst!! As he refused to send the water!! Even the shampoo we are hundred 💯 sure that its mixed with water before they put it in the bottle!! You cant feel its a real shampoo!!! Honestly its the worst hotel ever in the uae and we worn everyone not to book in it..

I had the worst holiday of my life. I went to Carlton Al Barsha with my family, for a two-night stay. Although we paid for 3 people, they gave us a room for 2. The cleaning staff said there were bigger rooms, and we should request at the reception. The receptionist denied having bigger rooms, so the 3 of us had to cramp up in the same room.A couple of guests were not wearing masks, even in the elevator!! When I asked the hotel staff to do something about it, they said they’ll try to request, but it clearly wasn’t working.Breakfast wasn’t really appetising. Overall, a very shady hotel with no safety regulations in place. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF STAYING HERE!!

Had to wait 30min to get it.Room had no towels and took another 30min to get some.Bathroom tube is disgusting and broken.04h45AM fire alarm sounded like crazy for 15min. Half asleep tried to find the stairs but couldnt. One guest called reception who said it is a technical issue....

Was upset, we requested little amenities like another set of shampoo, soap and toothbrush but they brushed us off saying they only have one housekeeping on duty or they dont give those kind of privilege to people staying on deluxe rooms. Seriously under serviced!On Friday morning my friend and I were supposed to check - in to Carlton Al Barsha. There was a misunderstanding with our booking at 4am, we just needed accommodation to sleep! The proof of payment was presented all was in order BUT Essam the manager on duty was rude and and had a horrible attitude and could not care less to assist us. Furthermore The room was smelly. Bathroom had a urine smell. Room service took forever to deliver. Overall experience was horrible. We will not return!

Seriously it was a horrible staycationStarted with room not ready by the time I checked in and when I went in it had zero preparationNo slippers no shampoos no enough pillows and the remote control was missing the batteries and when I went and bought my own found out the TV is disconnected anyway and upon asking for the least for a spoon fork and a knife I was denied under the same reason (corona sir)The staff was Soo unprofessional and provocativeThey give you that smirk while repeating sorry sirIt was a nightmare if you ask me.I wouldnt recommend it for anyone not even my worst enemies

Very bad service! No one in reception, the only one guy in reception always go to inside and disappears. People waiting in lobby for 1,5 hours. All the staff don’t care about your problems, cut the line in front of your face and say “we don’t know. Call the manager” Egyptian guy is very bad, rude. Security doesn’t keep social distance. All guests are fighting in reception! Their intention only to take your money!

I am having the worst experience at the hotel, which gives bad image about the hotel in Dubai. I really hope that @DTC see my comments and take serious actions, I tried to call the hotel several time and they lady she was answering her voice very far away, then she told me clearly I have your number and I will call you back, she never call back! I tryed my luck again after 30 min to call her again she mentioned the same.Then I reached the hotel after 3 hours, It was receptionist Mancy at the front desk, she gives me super hight rate then I made the booking, I came back to hear she said that will be your booking after 30 min and the room was not ready that time unless I met the FOM,.It is really very bad experience I will not recommend it again, pay extra money and get service. Once I reach the room was smelly, I said I will not call the reception again to change then I stay, I asked for water catlle which Mancy answered me again(Seems I was not lucky) she told me we dont have now because we take the water catlle to replace them and this decision by the managmen, then I told her the mangment they didnt not have a solution, she told me no, simply some people require hot water in the morning to drink which you can offer one glass of hot water as alternative solution and this clear for the mangment.Poor staff however it very good location with nice space

The room was so bad, the curtains were torn & wrinkled, the floor drain was full and water was coming out of floor drain, there was no water kettle & tea and even they served the thermopore glass. Im hugely and extremely disappointed. Ive to call 5 times & waited for almost 1 hour for extra towels

So poor service and feel bad for the guy ESSAM don’t know hospitalityNeed to give him proper training at the earliestMost important thingNot following COVID protocols1. No social distance between the staff in reception almost 5 people in small space2. No mask has been seen for the guests who was going in and coming out of hotel3. No sanitizer was in the reception nor in the lift and the sanitizers placed was full empty4. No gloves for the staff at reception5. Same pens used for the signature for all the guest6. Same key card was used for the check in customers suddenly after one checkout7. All the chairs was occupied by the customers as sticker was placed as not meant to usePlease do look into the COVID protocol to save everyone and all of us are responsibleThankyouSB

Poor. Carpet not clean. No Milk powder for tea.only yellow tea available no green tea. One of the lights at bed not working and one on the ceiling not working. Kettle not working properly. One of the rooms did not have iron. No towels were there when we arrived, we had to ask for towels and then we were provided with one towel for two persons. We had to ask for another towel. We waited for almost an hour at the time of check in as only one active staff was available and a lot of guest for check in.

Worst Check-in experience!!We arrived a little bit after 2PM, the guards asked us to wait in line before checking in. We’ve got a 4month old with us. The line was too long and reception was too slow.. it takes 10-15mins for 1 person.. I’ve asked one of the guards if they can give us a priority since we have already booked online and we also have a 4month old baby who is starting be antsy!!! To my surprise he said no, we still have to wait in line.. it’s been 45mins so we decided to walk away and checked in to another hotel nearby! We told ourselves we will never go to any Carlton hotel ever! Worst and Slow services!!!

This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. Hardly a 3 star hotel. The food was disgusting - canned tomato soup, frozen chicken burgers. Room service never came, you had to call them and they would always forget something ( towels, soap, vacuuming). When I asked for the room to be vaccumed ( was staying for 10 days) the floors smelled like urine. had a package delivered and they never informed me it arrived. Huge line to check out and one of the receptionists leaves???? Never coming back

To be honest hotel interior is good location is out area, mainly customers service was totally worst and bad experience, contacted 4th time then get what I asked,Room is good decent interiors, cleanless was also good, mainly customer service and room service and guests service was totally worst and very bad experience and unexpected, I will recommend to the management to keep complaints sheets at reception, whatever complaints and requests will come it should be logged and action taken and endorse to whom, and for feedback of customers happiness should be a note book in hotel room as well,So it can be helpful to improve their services and hotel reputation, mainly one more thing is most important for reception desk the person who will be available on duty it should be polite and humble with customers,I think my this comment and suggestions will help full.

I stayed here from 19/03/2021 till 06/04/2021. I tried the deluxe room, the junior suite and the executive suite. All rooms were very generously spacious and great value for money. Very, very high speed internet available all across the hotel. Room service was great; daily cleaning, changing of toiletries, towels, sheets, and coffee, tea, sugar, creamer and water bottles were added.Special thanks to mr. Mina Azer, who was extremely courtesy, friendly, attentive, always available and happily obliged to any special requests I had. He definitely smoothed my stay through and through. This place was a great and comfortable base to explore the whole city of Dubai. Location is perfect and the staff ensured a phenomenal experience by checking in, constantly cleaning and making sure we were accommodated daily. They provided fruitful suggestions and fantastic recommendation to make our trip and stay extremely enjoyable. I had booked the hotel twice in two weeks, to give a benefit of doubt that first time the service as pathetic and considering every person has their bad days. My guest was asked to get up after food being served, when it was included in the booking because their system was not updated. This is the quite disgusting that we had to wait for twenty minutes for confirmation of the booking. Meanwhile management is quite happy go lucky about this attitude. No toiletries or no water provided inspite of reauesting them quite a number of times.

I was one of the old customer of this hotel but my last experience is horrible, i did online reservations on Agoda for Carlton Al Barsha with reservations number272986351477700301Once i reach there was almost 10:45 and in Dubai lock down start at 11:00,once reach there security told me its temporarily closed you can go other branch that is 20km away from here and cant reach before lock down start.And once i call reservation desk they speak to me in rude not guide me how to refunds. Even i called in morning the guy in reservation attend my call told me you have to cancel in night its not possible now .My question is why you advertise online if its closed and if i cant refund now why you didnt told me in night time even i sent email before mid night 12:00 AmAnyway dont book this hotel online i cant trust online booking on this hotel specially.ThanksStay safe

The ugliest service ever..Here we go:- Only 1 person on the reception and there is more than 11 customer angry waiting.- seems they have a problem with the online booking whatever where the book comes from you need to call your agent yourself!!- there is a free parking- wifi free in the lobby- no spot to stop your car in the front door- I didnt see the rooms yet, because after I wait 35 min in the line the reception told me that my online reservation has problem and Ive been waiting for 1 hour now
