The room was spacious but the shower head is attached to the ceiling and cannot be moved which I found to be very inconvenient. The staff, compared to nearby hotels were not as friendly as expected. They seemed to be concerned about what time we will arrive and would not allow us a late check out even though we checked in at 10:30 pm. They seemed to be more concerned with “other guests” as if we are not also guests here.

Good 5 star hotel with good customer service. Room was spacious with great sea view and balcony. Pool is huge, morning aqua aerobics is great idea for guests. Sea beach is a bit small and water is not really clean due to ships. In general was good impression:) Thank you

Overall, I had a great experience with the hotel the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate our anniversary.The available area for swimming in the beach was small and there was aloooootttt of jet skis around us...The only thing that I didnt appreciate was during breakfast when a staff member ignored me when I went to talk to him and directed two men to the table which we were supposed to take and the area for breakfast was small and we were seated in the lobby 😒. We refused of course and after 10-15 mim we sat insideOverall service compared to price was very good

We booked for one night stay on 3rd of July and the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful that I had to write a review before we check out.The check in process was very quick and they upgraded our room to a sea view.I had an issue with the fridge as it wasn’t cooling enough and was worried that my baby milk will be ruined so they got me a fridge with a freezer and I was so amazed by their help.The hotel itself is amazing and the pool area is huge and my daughter really enjoyed it.Thank you so much for the amazing stay, we will definitely come back here in the future.

One of the loveliest and the relaxing destinations. The facilities feel like home. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. What I liked the most is the calm and the privacy . The safety measures are respected and are applied properly . For sure I ll go back in the future.

Nice location, we stayed in room 1816. Nice view, buffet breakfast could have been better, same choices on both days. Biggest pool in AD I think. We had issues with humidity in the room, tech came to fix however problem continues. The surprise cake and room decoration was very nice. Thank you to the team.

This is my last day here, i have been in the hotel for 5 nights. They deserve 10 stars. Everything here is close to perfect. From food to the swimming pool to the jaccuzi. Room always super clean and smeels fresh. All staff we met are very friendly, professional and trained very well to serve with a big smile. They always willing to jump an extra mile to make your stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. Definitely, i will come back and book in this hotel again.

I did not stay there, however was inquiring about their GYM facilities.Very poor wellness team, 0 regard for customer service. I reside in the neighbouring towers and wanted to try a workout, was informed that they need approval from their new Director of wellness.Called them multiple times and still no answer. Around 6 hours later I call them back and they are asking for $ just to try out before a membership.Any GYM in UAE and am guessing in ost places will atleast let the customer try a workout for free then decide whether to join or not. Its not a matter of the fee but more the hassle I had to go through just to get an annoying answer.Tip: if you want people to join your GYM kindly offer more friendly prices and atleast let said person try the GYM for a session before they decide to join or not.50 aed to workout for 1 day... hope its worth losing a month or year membership.

We had a lovely stay at the Khalidiya Palace. The hotel is really family friendly with a host of facilities to enjoy including the huge swimming pool, a sandy beach, kids playing area, Sauna, Jacuzzi, gym, spa...etc. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The only downside is the limited dining options now that Kamoon is temporarily closed for renovation nevertheless they have a decent room service menu and the staff at Horizon are doing their best to accommodate all guest requests.

Everything is excellent. From the reception to the food. Love the breakfast. Theres a lot of choices and their delicious also. Were upgraded for free. The room is absolutely clean. My kids love the swimming pool. Highly recommending for everyone. 10 stars 🌟

Nice 5* hotel with a private beach and a great pool for families with kids. Staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. We had a deluxe room with a king bed for 2 adults and 2 kids (4y and 0.5y) for 2 nights.

My family and I been staying here for approximately 3 months. I would like to give a shout out and 10/10 to Mr Michael D., the front desk manager for excellent customer skills, for the way he treats guests. He is the one to talk to if things gets frustrating when it comes to issues related to front desk but not only.We had a twin beds* room. pretty spacious with balcony and lovely view.Housekeeping - 8/10 they do a good job. We had a lovely lady who always did an amazing job.Concierge guys- probably the best! My son loved them. They’re always polite, with a smile on their face and very helpful.Food - is ok. We preferred Tuesday’s dinner buffet, Italian. Breakfast is good and ideally to book when booking the hotel via the app as it’s much more affordable.Beach - 5/10 we’ve been doing a lot of swimming the past 3 months. The beach is not clean. The seats aren’t cleaned on a daily basis and people aren’t encouraged to put their rubbish in the bins provided; therefore plastic bottles, cigarette buds you name it you can find it there. Shame really.The pools and playing areas are always well looked after though so ideally to stick to that part of the facility. The safeguards are always on their toes. They never miss a thing. I’d say impressive.Parking is free. Hotel is Very family friendly. Excellent location. Laundery service very good as well.Very good for short or long stays.Rooms do need a refit. The furniture is quite old and what was trendy and awesome 10 years ago can come across ancient nowadays for a 5* hotel. The key system for parking and rooms is very dated as well. However if you don’t mind the points listed above then you’ll have an amazing time.

Actually, I came on Eid Vacation. The hotel was nicer before, but it seems that they were not fully ready for this number of people who checked in during this event. It took long time to check in (till 3 pm), and they were very strict for checking out to be at 12.30 pm maximum on next day even I have Rotana membership and I asked only for 30 minutes more, but they refused even I spoke kindly to manager, so suddenly I was in rush and my plan for my family had been broken, because I did not expect that!Regarding breakfast, it was poor with limited sorts of food which were available. I think that I will not come back again to this hotel. Actually, in Saadiyat Rotana and Beach Rotana hotels, are better so for service, fast check in, flexibility in check out and the team is more kind.

Lovely afternoon tea. We asked for extra savoury treats and were nicely surprised. Service was a tad slow, but the beautiful view and the choice sweet treats made up for it.

The hotel is clean and nice , but the reception staff did not appreciate our condition me and my friends were in hurry, but did did not allow us to go to the room unless we finished the registration

We had spent a wonderful time at this hotel, I stayed here with my family. I had celebrated my Marriage Anniversary . Hotel staff had well organized my room and made my day special.They had provided a special , attractive cake , which was very delicious.The hotel was spacious, had its own pool and private beach including water sports activity. Room was clean and cleaning staff was very friendly, always willing to help and clean. Location was nice and quiet, away from the main noise. Walking distance to the beach, presidential Palace etc. Food, Room Service, Room Quality, Management, Staff... Everything is at its best.Thank you again for everything.

Amazing view of the room on the Palace, very nice staff but the one and only problem is that there is no sprinkler hose in the toilet.. there is only the bidet

Edit:Service quality increased through out my stay.Currently in quarantine and it’s a nice hotel with nice staff. However I have had problems with their room service (which I’m quite dependant on as I cannot leave my room) they have yet to get a single order right in five days other than pizza. Which was so under cooked I had to throw it away because it just tastes like raw dough. They seem to just throw together breakfast and put what ever they want in regardless of what was ordered. I have ordered the same thing every day for breakfast and it hasn’t been even close to the same twice. I would recommend going else where if you have to quarantine or to order food and completely bypass the kitchen.Update: director of food and beverage got in contact after I posted the review and was very pleasant and said he was going to look into it. The next meal was fine then I tried to order a pizza. The third time I have done so. It was undercooked to the point I just threw it away. Also I don’t want to seem like a “Karen” I paid for all this food and never asked for a refund of any kind. All I want is some edible food.

I had been in that hotel few days ago.. Check in was late at 3.00 pm and check out was very early at 12.00pm even that i asked kindly for 1 hour more of check out but they were not flexible. When i went to get into my room i was surprised that house keeping was still there even that it was 3.15 pm . the breakfast was poor and the service was moderate.

Missing you!Front Desk staff were very nice too, calling me by name most of the time. That really impressed me a lot!Rooms are spacious and clean. Palace views are awesome! In case I have to stay again in a hotel here in Abu Dhabi, I would seriously plan to book there again!

Actually, I dont advice this hotel and for sure Ill not come back there again.I was so late for checking in till 3.15 pm, even we spoke to the manager asking him kindly to be little bit earlier for check in, because my Mom was tired, but unfortunately he refused telling that no way. Also for check out, they insisted to be at 12 pm even we have Rotana membership. Actually we had booked in beach club at 12.30 pm thinking that they will allow us to stay for one hour more, but they insisted to check out from both rooms with no cosidering to our situation breaking our plans.Rooms AC is making the floor too much wet and slippery and really my sister was about to fall down on tiles, and even one of our two rooms was for 4 person as a family room, but it was their only 2 pairs of slippers and few of coffee or tea only.Regarding their breakfast was poor with few sorts of food.The beach was too much noise from those jet skies of some person who were driving it for hours in crazy way with high noise and risk in addition to diezel smell coming from these jets which was so strong and really bothering

Nice, spacious rooms, great service from the staff, private beach access a vast pool area and outside dining with Shisha. What else can you ask for?If your room view shows the pool or the Emirates Palace and Presidential Palace side, both have beautiful views and are quiet.

Everything is perfect, great value of money, amazing pool and friendly staff🙏However the Jacuzzi is very small for such a hotel like this.

For the price this is a lovey hotel. It is clean, the staff are courteous and willing to assist at every opportunity. When a small problem arose the general manager was quick to resolve the situation to my satisfaction. I would certainly return here when in the area.

We went there for a family vacation. Tremendous pool, with beach access. In the beach there is a board where you can jump from it to the water, in case you like diving. Room service was amazing, friendly staff, COVID-19 precautions measures were restrictedly applied. Prices were extremely affordable as a staycation, specially for families . Location is fantastic, near by Emirates Palace, so you can pay a visit to it if you are a tourist, explore the real Abu Dhabi. Few minutes walk from Cornish Abu Dhabi where you can go for a breathtaking coffee or jogging with beach view.

Was over all okaish. Not the best I have been and definitely not the worst. They are however very slow at the reception.

The hotel is nice and family friendly ,, the only thing that I did not like is that there is no valet parking service,, and there is no enough parkings at the basement.

Stayed at the hotel for one night, the view was amazing. Clean hotel, we had a nice bathroom with shower and bathtub. We stayed in a room with a balcony and view, the scenery was beautiful. The bed sheets smelt abit damp. Had breakfast the next morning, it was served well, social distancing was taking place inside the hotel and during breakfast. You couldn’t put your own food/drink it, it was all done for you. Breakfast was a buffet, nice range of food. Got to the pool around 8am, was nice and quiet. Around 11pm all the families with kids were out in the pool so it was pretty full, felt a little uncomfortable then because everyone was in the pool swimming etc.Overall, pretty decent hotel. Would recommend.

We went to the swimming pool n kids play area...it is clean, n well equipped with all the facilities...my kids love to stay there for longer hours, so do I...I also enjoyed the sauna, jacuzzi....it is nice ambience too...love to go there all the time

For visitor and tourist that place is amazing enjoyable and relaxing.

This is my most favorite hotel in Abu Dhabi because of its location and facilities.Most of the rooms look at the Emirates Palace or the Presidential Palace or the Sea or all three if you get a nice corner room.They have one of the best beaches in the corniche area with a wide pool surrounded by trees that create shade during the daytime. I also love the squash court, tennis court and the gym which help us stay active during our holiday.Staying here, you can have beautiful sunrise and sunset walks along the corniche which has many trendy cafes and restaurants.Definitely check it out and feel like you are in a resort in the middle of the busy city.

The location is absolutely perfect. In the evening you can catch the sunset from one of the restaurants. Note: they do not serve alcohol. They are in the shadow of the Etihad Towers and adjacent to the Palace, so very convenient. My only complaint is the parking. Very little parking and currently valet service is not available. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I really appreciate Rotana chain for their great standards. They really care about their guest and they habe a great employees. The precautions they implement in the hotel is amazing and the cleanliness of their rooms are outstanding

I liked this hotel, the pool especially, its huge and just perfect for kids who are learning how to swim. Hotel lobby, capsule lifts, view from window just midblowing. Also the staff is well trained, it is very much shown, the way they speak, the way they do the service. For example they called me prior to arrival to confirm the time of arrival, no hotel ever did that, also the receptionist who was fast in everything and very informative about hotel rules and procedures. The covid measures are very strongly followed. For me, personally, it created some inconvenience, but I understand that they must do it. The complimentary cake, as a birthday treat, was amazing.There are few things which I did not like though... One of that, is absence of valet parking...It can be due to covid or maybe due to the size of hotel (its huge), but anyways, other hotels have valet parking even now, so it was much expected... And self parking appeared to be very inconvenient for me and I had difficulty navigating there, plus one time the key did not work and I was stuck at the gate until somebody (another guest) opened it for me because I was blocking his way. Another thing which I did not like - absence of carpets. Some people find it more hygienic, but I like coziness more, and with tiles on the floor and a bit cheap looking furniture the room looked like an average cheap apartment... only balcony view was saving the thing. Also I was a bit disappointed with the beds - not comfy for me, a bit hard...and the beach - does not look nice at all. But since all those negative things are just my own preferences, this hotel still deserves 5 star.

Beautiful location... Rooms are very clean and safe. Reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. The staff who guide you during breakfast are very nice and smiling.I was also helped by one other staff as i did not know how to use the lift. Thank you all for a pleasant Nd peaceful stay.

Obe of the best hotels Ive been to. Parking is somewhat a hassle. Noy enough parking spots. But all in all, pretty good hotel.

Its nice but there are a LOT of stuff that could be better. You have to be 16 to enter pool without parent, most of the time room cards wouldnt work and youd have to go get a new card, you need a room card for everything. But its in corniche so you can ride bikes

Great plan for a holidayThe hotel is very clear and cosy. They upgraded my reservation from two separate basic rooms to an appartment with a sea view with no request from my side 🌻. Everything is nearby, and this morning we were watching the presidential Palace as we were in the sea. I strongly recommend it

Vegan menu really didnt live up to the standard unfortunately, the tv was broken - kept turning itself on/off - and the pool was cold but cleanliness was great and the decor is lovely!

One of the best hotel in abu dhabi

My friends and I booked a family room here. I have high expectations for this hotel since this is Rotana with a 5-star rating. Ive been to several Rotana hotels around UAE and Im the one who suggested this hotel to my friends, but to my dismay the linens were not new and theres a small cockroach in the bathroom. I made a complaint to the guest relations regarding the linens and they just told us that it was new. We didnt argue. I know it wasnt as we saw some stains and the smell isnt fresh. We just shrug it off so as not to ruin our bonding. It was still great but I hope next week that Ill be here, it will be better.10/14/20 Update: I booked a family room again this 10/17/20. Looking forward to another enjoyable stay. :)
