Absolutely horrible customer service ! The rooms are not clean or maintained most equipments are hardly even working from the fridge to washing machine , no basic cutlery available . We were charged for a room with no balcony as the same rate as room with a balcony (£100 difference )when complained to the manager that we booked a room with a balcony his response was to leave ! considering we had booked this room for 11 days with two children under 2 and was told to leave if we were not happy at 10pm at night during the check in. As it was late and we were tired we decided to stay and take the room available however the manager informed the front staff if i was unhappy and if I was planning to put this in a review of their bad customer service then i would need to sign a letter stating that i was happy with service or otherwise i would need to leave (Shocking) I disagreed and said i will only sign a letter confirming i was charged for a room that i had not booked at higher rate . When the check in payment invoice was shown to me not only was i charged for a room with no balcony for a price with a balcony but also charged an extra £50!!!!!!! The manager was very rude and disrespectful and very inconsiderate and told me to leave and find somewhere else with two children at 10pm ! At this rate i requested to stay only for one night but they said it would cost me 100 dollars a night which was triple the price for three nights i had initially booked for the 11 nights . The cleaning service was appalling you would need to keep requesting for someone to come and clean the room and the service was unacceptable they would only wipe the surface but with no cleaning products dry the toilet seats with dirty towels !!!! Never have I ever experienced such poor service and the manager was so rude and disrespectful not only to the guests but to his staff and would refuse to see guests if there was an issue and would either call the guests and tell them to leave or send the staff. Mold all around the propertySTAY WELL AWAY PEOPLE ESEPEICALLY WITH FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN NOT SAFE NOR CLEAN

No words can explain how satisfied i am ♥️♥️♥️, they are spectacular, excellent, and amazing . Customer Service is level 101(superb), most specially to the receptionist (Farah, Haseeb & Imti’az)... Star Metro Hotel Apartment really got me, i do recommend it to all the people out there , i promise that they will exceed your expectations , rooms are perfect , staffs are outstanding, magnificent and splendid . Superexcellent🙌🙌🙌

It was very dirty and bad services as they changed room again and again wasting our important days. There were cockroaches running around. Hygiene and cleanliness was pathetic.

Such a wonderful hotel , everything clean and smell fresh , amenities was so clean and they follow social distancing and you can see sanitizer in each part of the hotel , stayed here for 3 week and im going to extend my stay again because what I have seen here and they way they treat us is completely different than other hotels base on my experience . Specially mentioned to imtiaz, the bell desk who was extremely accommodating thorough out our stay and went over and above to make us good feel and comfortable. Chose this place because of the location. Metro, supermarkets, restaurants all were near by. overall a nice stay. Good management and staff specially Farah, Jude, Siraj and Errol. Definitely recommended.

A good place to stay but some hotel personnel need training on how to provide excellent customer service not only to guests but to visitors of their guests who happened to be the people who recommended them the hotel.

It is really good staying at this place. Excellent service being provided by everyone. I would like to make a special mention for Errol, who is very kind and helpful. One would be able to find almost everything nearby from groceries to metro. A great experience staying here.

Excellent location near by to Salah al din metro station. Opposite to reef mall and many restaurants are nearby. Hotel is very neat and clean , rooms are well equipped with facilities make you feel like home. All the Font office staffs are very cooperative and make you feel like home stay. I lived there for 16 nights and had a great experience. Staffs are friendly & helpful. Everything was in its best for a 4 star hotel. Location is very convenient l, just a few meters away from the metro station. Internet speed is great. Recommend you to just see yourself!

I stayed there 3 months ago its actually very nice and the services are fine but what i dont like about this hotel is that the cleaning boy comes into your room without letting you know but apart from that its good and nearby there a mall and grocery shops i quite like it

Bad service, uncoordinated workers, some of the staffs un ethical, a racist , but above all that I like the restaurant its super and the housekeeping is good, room is okay as I dont use their kitchen so i didnt mind if not complete utensils.I would rate this hotel 1 star, and the restaurant a 5 star.

This Hotel apartment is very clean and has very polite and helpful staffs.The breakfast there was amazing before but is good enough yet.The parking lot is very spacious and is like the shopping mall parking.Its in front of reef mall and near al ghorair shopping mall.Its close to metro station and you can go to fish roundabout and car rental shops by walk in a quarter or less.I recommend it for sure. I had at least 5 stays there.

Though its a old building but the location is excellent and value for money.I have been staying in this hotel since last 7 years and i keep coming back for the same as the staff are excellent with their behavior. One of the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. Price is too high according to the property. No good ambience.No services. No kitchen. It is actually a old property. Making fool of people by showing good pictures. I would strongly say a big No to this hotel. Breakfast buffet has no options. Everyday same menu. It was a bad choice of mine.

Bad experience ever! I always book a hotel in dubai and this is the first time I experience this. Thank you to the management and staff Log in Jan 24, 2020 around 2pm.They all spoil my birthday. I follow ur rules sir! Visitors not allowed. Me and my friends decided to go outside.after 5 mins, I thought i left my valuable things to the room. And when I came back, this Manager sent the cleaning staff to go inside my room with my valuable things inside. Im not even check out!The worse, he keeps on lying! He said, I check out! Im holding the card key. I showed him even.No, this is your key (showing other card key)Hello? are you ok? out of your mind? or just a liar?? (while showing my card key)Respect your customers as you want to respect your business. You are not good to that company, hope the management will do disciplinary action about this.I save money and plan everything for my birthday, but bcoz of this hotel. Everything went off.I even try to forgive and forget everything, I went to room, open the tv and plan to take rest. suddenly again the reception called We need to scan your ID! what the? I gave my Id, with my friends IDs! and still you need to scan!! CMON! then I decided to check out! I didnt finish my stay and they cannot refund also.This is the worse and unforgettable experience on that STAR METRO HOTEL. Guys! dont book here, worse staff, worse management!

Rates are attractive. Room Services and House keeping is very poor. Even if we order water at the reception also , minimum 2-3 follow up calls required them to bring water

We had booked our room through Agoda on 10 May 2018Rooms are very spacious ...located in the city centre...metro station is one minute walk. many supermarkets around good value for money...Buffet breakfast is very nice & available until 10am.Lobby needs to be kept clean. Room service is okay..Theres one staff at the reception by the name WAI is very rude and she wont give you a face. Terrible attitude...poor hospitality.Could have given 5 star..

The room service staff was totally unprofessional and rude,the reception indian guy was off the limits in reminding me again and again that its apartment hotel, everything available subject to availability and they have 216 rooms to cater, so my simple request for an iron is no use to say it to them. Only one filipino lady, as manager, tried to console me, no one else.I mean come on, i stayed in 4-5 stars hotels with more than 400+ rooms, but never such an attitude.Agoda always come up with good deals for me but this was the first worst experience. Will never go there again.

I absolutely loved this hotel, the room is massive, had kitchenette (washing machine, tea kettle, microwave, etc.) And its in the middle of everywhere 😀 I loved how I could just take a few walk to the metro (Al sadin and Union) I loved how peacefully and accommodating the hotel and staff were, I loved the fact that the hotel is surrounded by malls and also close to the famous Deira city mall. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here and would love to stay in whenever Im in Dubai.

The staff were nice and they upgraded our room, I only think they need to be aa bit more clean, I found some baby roaches on our bed and we were Honeymooning ( great mood spoiler lol)

It was an amazing experience at star metro hotel. The room was massive with a kithenette (it contained microwave , tea kettle and a washing machine) and the great thing is that it is surrounded by malls and restaurants !! And it is close to the airport too 🙂

I just started my stay yesterday in star Metro deira and now Im very satisfied with the location and surprised by the kindness of the staff, especially Mr Melad, but also Mr Roben who offer to us the necessary care.

Missing hygiene and cleaning,  the cleaning of this hotel is horrible, all furniture and floor is greasy,  bathroom very unclean and old , hair everywhere.Breakfast completely empty,  we paid for croissants because they were missing at buffet.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!

I think they have changed the management and it is really obvious that everything suddenly changed as in a huge change.. from the lobby the cozy huge sofa has been changed to single seater and feels like no one is allowed to sit unless youre going to order food in the restaurant beside them, sleepers are no longer available, toiletries are only shower cap, soap shampoo and body wash, you need to request stuffs like shaving kit,conditioners, toothbrush kit even extra towels and tissues if not they will not provide it. water bottles are 2 bottles only exactly for 2 guest unlike before there is 4. And also they are now very strict with visitors they are not allowing anyone to enter the room for even less than 3minutes they will knock on your door and tell that the person that is not on the guest list must leave unlike other hotels they will just ask your visitor to submit a copy of ID and they can stay though for a limited time only like an hour or two.no longer a good place to stay. you will feel more exhausted instead of relaxed. :(

Good place to stay with family .Good for children aswell.Malls , restaurants, metro station are just a walk away. Good ambience. Though we found a bed bug on the old sofa which was scary since we were there with infant but the hotel staff was coperative and were ready to change the room.The breakfast was also good. It has a boufey with reasonable varieties.Airport is 3-4kms away.The hotel charged approx $470 for three nights which i feel was reasonable. However, the WiFi was very slow or nothing at all coz they have allowed the access for only one person and we were three.Overall it was a pleasant stay since everything was easily accessible.

We came to stay this hotel for a night and paid £52 GBP. As soon as we entire the Flat it was full of filthy cigarette smell. Soon we took off our shoes , immediately found our feet become black due to the dirty floor. Came to kitchen to microwave my kids meal , it was out of order. Toilet tap handle were broken. Staffs are very rude. Obviously if you keep calling them for different issues then they will start ignore. And all happens due to poor service and maintainance. It is not worthy to book this apartment.

Very dirty rooms with cockroaches all over. Most of the staff were hostile, unwelcoming and rude. Both persons I encounted at check in and check out were not nice at all.Funny thing is that a friend lodged in 2 nights after me and she had the same experience.

Very very poor service, dirty and poor wifi signal. I requested baby crib 5 times and they promised to provide but no respont until the moment. The only good thing is the location of the hotel is very good. I dont advice this hotel specially for families. This is the last time i stay in this hotel.

Quite depressive hotel where if you want to go to the gym, you can only during working hours, same for swimming pool. Catastrophic breakfeast buffet and coffee shop inside the hotel reception propose prehistoric croissant re-heated at he microwave and 15 Aed late coffee which does not worth 50% of it... what about the smoke in my room coming from other room ? What about the staff that do see you at the reception when you are 1 meter in front of them? Dont look how the electricity is wired on your lamp tables.

Rooms are big and service is really good.. Their prices are cheap compared to other hotels near by. Very nice location.. We got a free upgrade from studio to 1 bhk and we enjoyed the stay as it was for 4 days.. Thank you guys

When I entered, the staff were NOT helpful by saying that they were fully booked, even if I made a reservation, however I did not get my room till the next morning!!!!!! However, the swimming pool is very nice and the rooms are cleaned daily, with clean lifts and helpful staff after what happened.

Excellent value for money, convenient location, a few steps from Salah Eldin Metro station, spacious rooms and lots of amenities including a full fledge kitchen. A 24/7 supermarket nearby and an excellent souvenir shop just outside the metro station. The only downside in my experience is that the check-in took a little longer than expected.

This is my fourth time staying. The rooms are quiet and the bed is comfortable. The hotel really does need a refurb and its not for people seeking a shiny new Dubai experience, but for me its perfect and staff are friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a 1-bed apartment which was very spacious.The hotel is a 2-minute walk from Salah Din metro making it really accessible. Its also a 5 minute walk from Ghurair mall and minutes away from a great Syrian restaurant, Aroos. The best thing is the large rooftop pool. Its near the flight path but its not too bothersome. WiFi is a bit slow

Wow the rooms are massive with fridge, washing machine, hot plate, plates and cutlery, microwave, tv, cupboard ..... etc etc ..... best suited for Long stays and a place you can get your family, no night clubs and hanky panky, 1 bed rooms are especially comfy.

A good hotel but needs more care.Location is great. The gym is dead better to close. Sauna is great. Staff are ok. A bit slow. Mohd at reception was great.

Friendly staff & service!!! I usually stayed her during my stopovers in Dubai. The Salah Al Din Metro Station 2 is one block away from the hotel. The Reef Mall is right across the street. They also have a great concierge service here for personal needs as well as for any transportation needs that you have.

Very poor service especially in their reservation department no one bothers to reply on email even after taking a room for our employees no proper documentations also they cant even issue proper provisional bills even after requesting and when you call them front office will just answer you that no one is in the department to answer the call. Very Poor service from staff.

I was at Star Metro with my family in 2014 for a week. Very impressive. Not far fro city centre. Theres a metro station very close by and a big shopping mall right opposite.I look forward to staying there again.

It is a beautiful hotel with well-educated guests and warm people. Breakfast is good but rather limited. The only bad thing is that the bathrooms for a 4 star hotel are very dirty

It has many disadvantages such as it doesn’t has spa and swimming pool. Additionally, there is no sound insulation in the hotel windows so you can hear noise while you are inside the room.

It is an old hotel, however it is in the middle of Dubai, close to gold souk and City Centre Deira . If you are a light sleeper, you have be careful as it is really close to the airport. My baby boy enjoyed the pool a lot.
