Worst experience ever in government office abroad. -30%. Applying for the most expensive and no-value passport in Africa with only 5yrs validity and Im being treated there like trash. We were better off without this consolate.

I got a great service today at the Consulate. My documents were verified, then I was given directives on how to fill the forms for my passport renewal. Within 30 minutes, I was served as well as those that came in before me. Unfortunately I forgot to ask the name of the staff (Slim guy, dark in complexion) who attended to me, but his service was absolutely professional and he was very polite.Continue doing great.

Excellent welcome and service, I had to do my visa for Cameroon and I received always timely responses from them by email. When I arrived at the consulate the process was quick and easy. I forgot a few elements but they helped me throughout and everyone was extremely nice and kind. When things are done well it should be recognized so thank you to the Consulate of Cameroon team in Dubai.

I sent passport to renew it but they didn’t do anything and they say they didn’t receive it even though I have a tracking number shows who get the passport from them. Also, I sent an email on May 5th but still didnt get an answer. How I get my passport back??!!

I Really feel dissatisfied after applying for my passport renewal since the 02/09/2020 7months plus now and until now I didnt get it, after several visits to the consulate and writing to the consule to intervene on my behalf, nothing has been done until now! I had to take upon me to findout whats really going only to find out someone removed my passport from Cameroon without any authorization from the consule or even communicating with me. This guy whose only name I got as Carson is currently demanding for 100,000cfca before he gives my passport. My question is there no law that protects our passport when the reach home? Anybody can just come in from no where and pick them up? Please I wish to use this platform to plead if they can track the person who took my passport.

First Cameroon diplomatic mission in UAE very easy access from financial center metro station

Almost poor customers service. Instant services are prolonged for no good reason. Anyway all was find ones I got my paperwork done there and well though the procedures took longer than thought. I pray more changes comes there and a better tomorrow to our consulate.

This is nonsense just this morning I have been calling and no one is picking up, since 9:30 I have been calling and now is 10:19 no one has answered very bad same thing the do in Cameroon what a disgrace

Good day please.Is the below information valid?TRAVEL ALERT!!!Visitors travelling to United Arab Emirates must have at least *AED 2,000* as show-money at the time of arrival at UAE, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter UAE, and will be deported back to home country.The policy is applicable with immediate effect and several passengers have already been deported due to non-compliance.

Am very happy for this great achievement here in UAE. We are very thankful for the initiative they took taking some of our people back to Cameroon. We wish they do more even if it for us to pay our flights to get home especially for those that are pregnant and home not working and their companies not paying them taking in to consideration the expensive nature of this place if they can help them get home by any means that will really more appreciative again to us thanks to the service providers am really happy

Very poor customer service, rude staff and poor facilities. A passport renewal takes 6 months which so abnormal and very costly. Serious improvements needs to be done as everything is far behind compared to other countries.

Why do we have a consulate here , why why ??????? the was a circulation information about fines waiver which they send out ...... inshort we dont need you here, my friend need a pass to exit from my information all others embassy gives it for free but my country have seen where to make money asking 500dhs , the same things happening in cameroon i see it here ......again we dont need u guys we have been us to that

Worse place ever,they do not even answer calls.no difference from back home ,theres no need for u guys here if u cant even provide the services needed to it citizens.

Am so happy that we have a consolate now in the UAE, and we had the best services today, my passport was renewed with the blink of an eye. I call on all Cameroonians to visit our consolate now for any enquires or document issue they might be having.

The site is quite accessible but the staffs are mannerless. I will like to suggest the undertake proper UAE training on how to handle people. They are just so arrogant and impolite like those back home. They need serious training if I should be sincere to meet the standard of the land the working there.

On Google maps they are open at 8am I visited them at 8:10 but the gate was closed. I knocked and rang the gate bell but no sign of anyone. Minutes later a gentleman walked out of the gate... I tried to get help from him but he was arrogant and wont like to hear a word from me all he could do is to point to the notification board where as it couldnt give me any clue of what I wanted. When I insisted, he sluggishly said: My friend cant you read? We open at nine oclock!I was shocked because their opening hours was not on the notification board. Apart from that, he said 9am but on Google it is 8am.What a waist of time. I can never say Im proud of my country!

This is the third day of calling the Consulate’s landline but no response. I wonder if there are staff in their offices.

Just to bring to your notice the amazing customer service i have experienced with Judith .She is friendly and welcoming and accurate in the information given. She is been very instrumental in various services rendered to many fellow cameroonians be it as far the issue of outpass is concerned or the visas .Judith is on constant collaboration with the UAE authorities who i am conviced appreciate her work .I personally experienced the recent case from Ajman Central Jai( in which i have a relative ) where the authorities needed outpass form and were satisfied by her promptness and effective collaboration .I will humbly suggest to his Excellency Mr the Consul General to consider the possibilty of having a promotion granted on to her for job well done.I would like however to mention that one particular staff of the consulate ( the big black guy sitting on the left side at the entrance) exhibited very poor customer services , he is so rude and needs to be seriously trained on how to talk to people.Judith i am very proud of you.Keep it up !God richly bless you!Happy New Year to all the staff!Long live Cameroon!Fortune

Great place, but some staffs are rude & not welcoming

Im a Cameroonian living in Qatar and had my new born baby here. I had no mean to issue a passport to the child or to get an outpass for the baby to exit. I tried contacting the Cameroon embassy in Saudi Arabia but no one replied.Then, I contacted the Consulate General in Dubai and fortunately, the lady picked my call and explained that I had to be attended by the embassy, due to the fact that I was out of the UAE. But, I explained how difficult it was for me to reach the embassy and the Consulate agreed to make an outpass for my baby instead of directing me to Riyad as per the normal procedure. I am very greatful to the Consulate because, if no one attended to my case, my baby would over stay here. I am grateful to all the staff working there. Thanks for your assistance.

Its easy to spot, and its my country

We are not well informed the call service is poor. We should be told how to know if our documents are available.

The people that we always put at the reception since its creation are too insolent and know nothing about the reception. Poor English, wrong spelling of notices in a diplomatic mission and so rude and uncultured. Even the lady really lacks the training on how to welcome clients who are too insolent, it is as if the consulate belongs to them rather. Really engage trained people.
