We had a terrible experience, we came from Ajman for Marriage registration- Malaysia as my wife is Malaysian citizen and myself Indian, before that we took an appointment through email, we sent an email with all clear details and attachments. We got an appointment call from that receptionist lady Noha saying you can directly come here for registration but she didn’t even looked the email, after reaching there with all certificates she is advising to take UAE MOFAIC attestation in my Indian Marriage certificate but i already took that in MOFAIC New Delhi, I understand if it is the procedure.. yes we need to follow that but while we sent an email we attached the documents for verification... why this lazy lady didn’t say that while she is calling for appointment confirmation. This lady Noha is not even try to listen what we are saying and she is into her own world with headset on and she is seriously a rude and disrespectful person. We wasted our time and lot of frustration at the end of day... I kindly advise Malaysian Embassy to check all email properly and call for an appointment...

Tried to call the phone number displayed to speak with the customer support. Dialed option 0 to get the person on phone, but it gets disconnected automatically. If the option to speak with support staff is no more available, kindly remove that option from IVR. Now when we dial 0, it gives us a feeling that someone at the office is purposely disconnecting it after a few ring.

I read the earlier reviews of people not happy with the service but those are of a year or more ago. Today we went and all was good. Great service from lady with blue eyes (Noha) and all done in less than 20 minutes. Maybe all previous critisisms were taken on board and fixed. Whatever it was I hope it stays this way. Keep it up. If there was one thing that could be fixed - update the website on the working hours and days, or keep the public informed via the answering machine. We went all the way a few days back only to find out the office was closed due to Chinese NY. This hassle could be avoided. After all the consulate is there to provide services and the gate to the country, correct? And last but not least, the flag. The flag is the pride and joy of a country, it should look good and fly proud. I think it is time to change that dusty looking flag flying above the consulate. It just look sad.

Sick people providing sick service.1. The lady at the front desk.. She probably has to be paid more because she is constantly disturbed when she was at sleep (during working hours). Yeah she sleeps at working hours and as many have pointed out, she is ridiculously rude.2. The Malaysian guy who collects the application... 😂😂😂😂. Funny guy. There are numerous Silence boards kept. Better to keep all those boards pointing to him. TRUELY MALAYSIATip : The tourist visa application has to be typed it seems. The application in the website was not editable. (Not sure if they corrected their site recently).Download the application from the Malaysian embassy site of any other country which will have editable versions.

Called up to enquire regarding the documents that will be needed for marriage registration. The employee whom I spoke to ( she didnt even bother to introduce her with her name as a customer service protocol) , sounded rude, being not patient to list out the documents that will be needed, that she actually intruded me with a rude tone while i was still speaking halfway, and said can you just come over straight to the office and do it . Wow, whats the purpose of you sitting there at the customer service desk then lady?

When I wrote my comment I read the comments of others and you were surprised by this attack on this employee or others unfortunately, you do not think about the consequences of what you write and how it affects the employee have you put yourselves in the place of the employee you are dealing with? Certainly not Because if you put yourself in his place impossible to complain about it we all come to work for our families and each of us has his own circumstances (mercy) Why do some people thank the service of this employee and some people no? Through my experience in life I will answer this question It is possible that his treatment was rejected so he put a bad comment on the employee You will not think that the positions you are attached to can lose your job and that you can be responsible for a family or a patient, but for a possible suspension you can end a family life.Be fair

This was my first experience with the Malaysian consulate today and i must admit it was utterly disappointing service from the blue eyed Arab lady wearing the abaya at the front reception. I entered the office and looking through the window it looked like no one was around the front desk.I walk up and knock on the window, out pops the ladies head staring at me like I did her something wrong.I apologised to her for knocking so hard as i honestly didnt see anyone around and yet she stared at me for a good 10 seconds without batting an eyelid and in the most rude tone asked me to fill out the form. i then give all documents needed and sit down and realise that her head is down again,(SLEEPING)meanwhile two other people came and sat next to me thinking that no one was in the office. I then had to point out to the two gentlemen that in fact there was someone in the office, they then go up to the window to ask information regarding tourist visas, without surprise she was equally rude to both of this gentlemen, and directed them somewhere.I finally get my letter of good conduct and had to pay 100 dhs which i didnt get a receipt for which i found very unprofessional. As you may read some of the reviews below it is clear that its not a one time occurrence. She definitely should not be putting her head down and sleeping been in the front reception of a consulate. To the consul Mr/Mrs Neermal Shunmugam,If you are reading this, I have lived in Malaysia and my family still lives there including both my brothers who are studying there,Malaysia is a country very close to my heart and its disheartening to see such people ruining the image of Malaysia. Please teach this lady basic customer service skills and remind her that she is there representing Malaysia.
