Now its 02:10 P.M (DUBAI Time), Im writing this comment live from Burjuman Dubai. I applied for Tourist Visit Of Jordan today 10 May 2021 at Jordan Consulate Dubai around 01:40 P.M and received my stamped Visa on my passport around 01:55 P.M, within 15 minutes!They charged me 270 Dirhams in cash at counter #5 for Single Entry Visa valid for 30 days & stay duration also for 30 days after entry into Kingdom of Jordan.Not to mention Im on Investor Visa in Dubai.The Consulate guy was very supportive & my overall experience was just amazing! 10/10 😍

Excellent service. I applied online for my passport and the service in the consulate was fast without any forms. Just a note to create a different queue for those who applied online as their transaction takes a minute, so it is not fair to wait for an hour or so.

Never answer the phone even if you called them a thousand time!! They also have the worst answer machine.. completely useless.The website simply does nothing.. poor design and no electronic services!! It feels like were living in the middle ages.

I give them 2 stars because they have a few good hard working employees like the single guy in the tent. He is overwhelmed with work but still continues like a machine. An embassy for a country like Jordan shouldnt be that slow in processing applications. The system followed is obsolete by todays standards. Even having an online system to apply for something like passport renewal is pointless because you still have to go back to the embassy and wait in a queue to pay and wait a couple of hours after to recieve the passport. The passport counters are very limited and should be increased to speed up the process.

I came one of the first people in the morning for a visa application and waited 1.5 hours waiting for the employee to open the visa counter. When he came, he said that the form on the website is old and I have to retype it again.Just dont wait for your number to show, you must ask the receiption.

Sad to say this about my country but the service cannot get any worse. Grumpy lady with attitude on the reception. One whole hour and still waiting only to pay for passport renewal for which I applied online - this should take 2 minutes! Not to mention no online payment gateway. Such a waste of time and extremely inefficient.

My experience in Dubai Consulate of Jordan was excellent , very friendly and understanding Staff , they are of extreme help to senior and old visitors , high appreciation to all the team، special appreciation to Mr. Raad Al Tayeb on the front desk , who is very helpful to all visitors with special conditions .

The situation is miserable by all means.I’ve completed my passport application online. Been asked to go consulate to complete payment and issue renewal for passport.Upon arriving on Monday morning was shocked with crowd inside the relatively small space - zero social distancing , people are in queue with many who don’t wear masks. Even the employees of consulates have no mask.Living in Dubai, I don’t see this situation in any place as the rules here are strict in social distancing and wearing masks. Consulate should follow these rules!!They told us the system is down !!! This is the typical answer and come back on Thursday.Employees and visitors were just shouting on each other’s and blaming each other’s.I hope a responsible person in Jordan can see and read this review. It’s bad we are on 2020 and still see this old fashion system and bad organising still happening.

Staff at the consulate are nice and doing their best under the circumstances. Regarding applicants, many lack any sensitivity to the corona regulations and acting irresponsibly and forgive me for saying that stupid. They are a disaster walking around.

Incredible wait times. Why should I waste 12 hours of my life waiting in line over 3 separate days? Once to apply, another to pay, and a final time to receive the document? Why not just twice?The first time I was there from 9 10 am to 1 05 pm. Waited at least half an hour in a queue in the sun when its 40° out. Inside, theres an even slower queue. Theres a 5 x 5 m² tent for everybody to fit into once youre inside, but in these COVID times such close proximity is ill-advised when everyones basically breathing the same air. Wearing masks is hardly properly enforced, with people just putting it on without covering their mouths + noses.There is no indication of what to do wonce youre past the gate. No useful/meaningful arrows, no signs telling you to take a number, or what to do, nothing. Not even a no-smoking sign, which is the least they could do.If the majority of people are waiting outside the building, why is there no screen showing the queue, but you have to constantly nag the security guy and ask him what number theyd reached and be surprised at how slow service is?There arent even instructions on what documents you should have with you for your process, and their answering machine (if it works in the first place) is not useful. I dont even know if theres an option to speak to a human employee on the phone.If youre gonna ask people to wait for 2 hours, a 25 m² tent isnt exactly the best way to ask them to wait.Perhaps a few seats with an umbrella could help, but something must be done.Otherwise you could come for a passport renewal or visa and leave with a heat stroke.The 2nd time I thought Id go early, arrived there at 7 30. On Google maps it says it opens at 8 30 but it opened at 9 am.Women pass by all the men waiting for 1.5 hours, skip them all and stand right in front.I was supposed to be #7 in line but Im #16. No matter, we go in, 1 employee out of 5 is at their desk. I am informed that I need to come yet a 3rd time. Maybe I should pray fajr here.Suggestions: chairs + umbrella at least once past the gate (30 chairs inside the building for 200 people are too few)Instructions and required documents should be clearly placed outside since you may end up spending 3 hours waiting in line before being allowed inside the building, where some instructions areBetter answering machine (just drop the current one and use another. It doesnt respond to commands and is to inconsistent, in addition to not providing enough info)Hire customer service to answer the phone

Service is very good. Prompt response over phone every single time. But back office activities are extremely slow. I applied for tourist visa and got the visa after more than 4 weeks. I was informed that it went for approval to Jordan office. I had to visit the office 4 times for this because the staff promised me every time that it will be done inshallah!

We are abroad, and we need support from our consulate. We are calling to check the required documents before we are going, unfortunately the service for call center agent is awful, it’s very difficult to answer the call , once they answered they are not helpful at all and they hang up the call and never answer again.

Very very long queue, waited for more than 4 hours just to submit the passport renewal documents. Only one main counter for passport renewal and another sub-counter. The main counter staff is leaving his place frequently for few minutes. I hope Improvement to be considered here!
