Dr. Pauline was super caring towards our new pet toy poodle. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and why she would recommend certain tests. All in all thorough, professional with the caring attitude and no rushing. Would definitely recommend Dr. Pauline and British Veterinary Hospital. Receptionist was also very warm and friendly. They also have various plans that you can enroll on a yearly basis - works like an insurance. We will be back soon for the vaccinations.

My and cats last days in Dubai were made stress and hassle free by Danielle Salmon of this veterinary hospital. She was with us every step of the way of the relocation, patient, knowledgeable and knew how to calm our worries. Im surprised by the very negative reviews of others, and Im absolutely certain if Danielle had handled their relocation their experience wouldve been different.

Absolutely miserable experience with this vet (for international shipping), especially regarding communication. I have many friends in the UAE and I will be telling everyone not to go with this vet. They did not clip my cats nails as promised (in emails and in person) and my cat ended up injurying himself. While I am sure they took good care of the injury, the whole ordeal required my cats to stay in the UAE an additional week (while my partner and I were already back in the US). They claimed my cats had not been adapting well to their vet stay (on the phone, per the injury) after saying everything was fine in emails for days. The cats arrived in the middle of the night in the US (after telling me they would arrive the next day), and they then had to board at the vet for two nights (on my dime). Do yourself a favor and find another vet.

Weve gone to see Dr. Jo a few times in order to help with my dogs skin issues. She was very patient with me and understood that I do not like to use medication. However when we realized we had no other option she was very polite and explained to me why we had to use it and how we could monitor in order to make sure he was okay throughout his full 3 week treatment.The front staff are also super friendly always greeting my boy with his name.My only issue is the consultation fee is high compared to the other vet we go to and it seems each visit costs me 550-650aed for consultation and a med/shampoo/medicated food etc..

I cant praise this vets more. My dog nearly died because of a Parvovirus infection despite being fully vaccinated. The staff at BVH saved her and she is now very fit and healthy. Cant recommend them enough. Super facility but the real asset are the staff. Thanks you all.

My cat was ill and I got worried. It was the only place i could find with an emergency doctor on the phone at the time. I wish I had read the reviews before going in. On my visit, the staff were nice and genuinely seemed they cared; they advised me to keep my cat overnight for observation, which I was happy to do. They prepared and estimate which was very high but tried to calm me by saying it was just in case they had to do x-rays and such and will probably be less. Like a fool I believe them. They keep me informed trough out the day and after the first blood test they came up with follow up tests. They planned 3 more. The next day I called to follow up and they said 2 tests were good but needed one more urine sample to be sure and shared the proposed treatment plan, I asked the doctor how much would it cost since thir prices are really high and he said we can check later. An hour later doc called to tell me the last urine test had revealed a new serious condition which needed to change treatment plan and obviously more meds. They send me invoice and I used their pet taxi service to bring my cat home. To my surprise the invoice the driver had was different to the one sent to me. They conveniently forgot to put in an additional test they carried out after they mailed me the bill and send my cat. When my cat arrived her state was deplorable. There were feces on the carrier, she was weak, was soiled and went immediately for the food like she had not eaten in a day. They also CUT Her nails WITHOUT MY CONSENT and didnt even tell me. I know hospitals are stressful but I also know my cat. I also know that I will not go to this vet again and they also know it since after i mentioned it was getting pricy they started adding charges to squeeze evey last penny out of me. PLEASE READ OTHER PEOPLES REVIEWS BEFORE COMING. Where there is smoke there is fire...

Complete disappointment when it come for relocation services very expensive first of all and unorganized on top of all the employee was unfriendly and rude everting was complicated and the explanations unbelievable. I won’t ever recommend it to anyone!!!

This is the only place I trust with the health and well-being of my pets. Both my dogs have gone through all rigorous procedures for international relocation and the time, attention and care from the multiple team members that assist, has been second to none! Big shout out to Dr Francesca who is so wonderful with my rescue dog, she’s the only person who can cut her toenails without hassle :)

Thank you for relocating our two cats. They did a wonderful job. It was the weekend, despite that they stayed on the ball.In general I have been using their services and generally been very happy. They are a bit costly, but then find me a vet in dubai that isnt.

I dont really understand that why people post negative comments here... They are not helpful.Is it expensive? No its just about a little bit more than what you pay for consulting elsewhere.I have no complains from them... If you cant pay the consultant/vet for the pets, its better not to have them

Dr Waseem is an incredibly thoughtful and talented vet. Our champagne mini-poodle has had multiple issues with giardia and multiple UTIs and is barely a year old. Dr Wass is so detail-oriented and is always available and is just plain brilliant. In addition, he always calls and tells you what his plan of action is and why he is proposing a certain regime. We have wonderful vets back in the states but I’m so thankful we were recommended by a friend to see Dr Waseem. If you have pets and you need peace of mind you should look no further and go to British vet hospital. Our dog Cosmo runs to meet the nurses and Dr Wass as he is fondly referred to, is just a stunningly passionate vet. The nurses and admin staff are kind and loving to all the furbabies. During these corona days they take extra precautions by making sure that all hoomans stay outside in their cars while the pets are lead inside by the doctors or staff. We are indebted to them!

This place basically robbed me... the doctor did nothing to help my dog with his problem, he needed urgent help we were desperate so we came to this hospital but it was a huge mistake. My dog is thankfully fine today because i received urgent help from a different doctor who saved my dogs life.

My dog had kennel cough and for two weeks of three medicines and paying around AED1,350 for three consultations , he is still sick. Basically money oriented , do not go there

I went with my cat last saturday and it had allergy on the mouth, i paid 500 AED consultation (290 consultation and the rest for meds) which is already too much. The cat did not heal properly so i called them for a follow up consultation which should be free within a week, they wanted to charge the same amount! They are very money oriented and unfair, i read that in some of the reviews and i thought this might be wrong, but i experienced it just now.

I do NOT recommend this place for emergencies. Theyre far more concerned about the money than they are saving or helping the pet.

My wife and i cant recommend The British Veterinary Hospital enough. We have been dealing with them for many years now and have always been hugely looked after. Absolutely fabulous surgery, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my pets. As well as my own cat’s general health, I have taken a number of rescue cats there. Some have had extremely complicated conditions and where other clinics failed, the British Vet clinic succeeded. I trust them completely.

*******no need for appointment. you will charge me 160aed for 1 tablet and 290aed for consultation?? how fair is that? other clinics will sell tablets 100% affordable than yours with better services and management.best of luck.very expensive deworming tablet! they will charge additional 150aed if you buy one tablet! its very insane especially the cost of one tablet in a supplier is only 2-3aed!! very expensive place. avoid!

Very kind staff, they really care about my dog as if its theirs. The vets are very experienced and caring, I have no hesitation in recommending them.

All my pets go to Dr Hannah and have been since 2014. The love and care with which they look after is unique and their conduct is very professional. Their veterinary team is exceptional.

Big thanks to Dr.Waseem8 weeks ago we brought our 16 year old kitty who was not well & after a blood test we were told he had kidney failure.We were given two choices... first to start dialysis which is extremely costly & expensive or say our goodbyes & put him down after 3 days!!!Fortunately by changing our cats Doctor to Dr.Wassem & under his kind care & without any extreme expensive procedures, 8 weeks later our cats health, blood test & condition has improved amazingly. He has gained From 3.1kg to 4.3 kg. Eating & living happy with us for now.Most importantly... instead of only 3 days we have had 2 great months with him.Thank you Dr.Waseem for your professionalism & actualy caring for the animals ppl bring under your care.Pishi & family

Very clean, tidy and professional Vet.Staff (Reception, Nurses and Doctors) very friendly, helpful and professional. Doctor called each day to update me on my pets health, and was very clear when explaining pets condition and tests to be done.A number of tests were performed to rule out other illnesses, it was quite costly, but health is a priority. Its worth paying slightly extra to receive a western service, in a clean and professional environment.

First time in my life I hear that you have to pay *double* for a consultation because the dog has seen another vet already. Its basically like having to pay a doctor double because youve already been to another doctor. Absolutely ridiculous.

The worst place to go. I think they only care about taking your money. I wouldnt recommend anyone to visit this place. After bringing my dog here and getting vaccines she got really sick and when I went back they just wanted my money.

I have been taking my cats there for over a year now, and was happy with them, but lately they became more money oriented than before and they do lots of not needed tests without even telling me the price for each test before!! My cat has an eye infection, I took her there and after doing tests for 450AED they gave me medicine that made the eye worst I came back in a couple of weeks, they didn’t accept to consider it a follow up and charged me again and did some other standard tests without getting approved before for the price of 970AED!! And after all this my cat still has her eye infected and feeling worse than before, Im changing the clinic and don’t recommend them.

My two cats have been incredibly well cared for at BVH. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, excellent pet health management.

Hy husband and I recently relocated back to South Africa. We have adopted two beautiful cats in Dubai. We contacted the British Vetenary Hospital regarding their relocation services. I would highly recommend them. From the first phone call they were professional, friendly, helpful and patient. The procedures went smoothly and without any hassles. They even sought to it that my babies were delivered to my doorstep in South Africa. Safe and sound and not stressed in the least bit. Thank you to Beth and the whole relocation and vetinary team at British Vetenary Hospital. You guys are the best!

Good service. However, prices are extremely high. 1300 AED for abdominal ultra sound?!!They keep changing doctors and the schedule of doctors are quite confusing. You see a doctor couple of times and then she disappears.

Terrible Experience.No management structure.No communication.8950 AED to relocate a small dog to Poland.I could write a book.Dubai Law firm had been instructed as they refused to return the money after we gave up on them and used another BESPOKE Relocation company. 1500 AED and all done in less than 60 minutes.Our dog flew out that same night. BVH telling us that it is all very complicated and it would take 2 days @ least to process. Well, Most things are complicated if one does not know HOW to do it,as is the case here.They eventually offered us half.We refused as they had done Nothing. After more pressure,they eventually returned all of our money. They wanted to castrate our dog knowing he was due to Fly at any moment.Two Tier Service for this Op. Gold or Normal ! I forwarded it to a UK soft tissue referral specialist who said that the Gold option was Fluffed up,and simply Standard in year 2017. The cheaper Option was a Disgrace and not fit for purpose. 1 Rabies Jab that was not needed and very expensive. £200 + phone bill trying to find out WHAT was happening. The problem is at the top,not with the Relocation team whom are starved of information it seems.I have no reason to doubt the skill of the vets,but far too expensive even for Dubai.As a Brit,I object to this place giving the impression that it is somehow the Appointed British Vet hospital in Dubai.It certainly is NOT.

Despite being a long term customer at the clinic, the lack of communication, awful scheduling services, and overall poor customer service have led me to leave for good.

NEVER GOING BACKDo they usually sound that you are the one at fault, yes they did that with me. I have rescued over 25-30 cats as a member in one of the leading rescue and rehome team and i have tried most of the vet clinics in dubai and I come here for good service as i wanted to spay for one of the cat which i rescued 5 years back and i have been giving heat injection and had hiv test every single time but here i am in BVC for cat spaying. I insisted saying i have done the fiv test and i dont need it. I know any doctor in the world would understand its not needed When i say its negative. It was determined that it was miscommunicated that they thought it was hiv negative before i rescued the cat and that i didnt do the test again when i said i did it every time i gave her heat injection ??? Common sense how can i knw it is fiv negative before i rescue a cat. If it is miscommunicated why do i have to bare and the word said was that management would decide and there my cat lying there after the operation and not wanting to make any problems i left and i knew my money is gone. You guys got amazing medical expertise one of the best as i knw but doing something like this and not doing anything about it. There goes one of your customer :) good luck with the money you got and the more you get, never going back here.Ps : COST told for spaying 990dhs through the phone after giving every detail and after the operation 1500+ And my previous cat i had to spend around 2300+ dhs for some medical reasons with these people and i had no objections but this incident , goodbye.

I had my cat for consultation and theyve done some test without informing me about the additional costs. It was fine for me as long as they cure my cats illness though the cost was a lot but after giving the right prescription as well as the right food, my cat never got any better.

Ive had all my pets treated here. Very professional and kind staff, they know how to handle nervous animals and have never failed me before. Ive been going here since 2014.
