My family and I have 3 elderly cats (ranging from 10-16 years old) and have one 4 year old cat and I took my cats for their annual vaccination last week. Due to my own foot surgery and inability to go into the clinic, the vet came out to the car to discuss the issue of the cats with me- a humble gesture and one I appreciate. He diagnosed my 4 year old very quickly and kept him until his condition was clear and then sent him home with follow up treatment...I was sent videos and updates during his stay at the clinic. One of the older cats was given athritis medication to keep her comfortable and vitamins to help her in her old age. Such friendly professionals who do their work well, are reliable and very responsive - Thank you NAS Vet Clinic.

This is a wonderful experience especially here in Dubai I’ve been in many vets it wasn’t that professional sadly I’ve noticed some of the customers they not appreciate their service because of their selfish demands but the staff their dealer with them with kind and respect. So we’ll done full of gold stars and I will recommend people towards your respectful and professional caring for the pets and customers as well.Sam

We have an African Grey Parrot called “Melon” and he is the love of our lives. Nad AlShiba Vet is the only vet I trust and will ever trust with Melon. Melon was recently admitted due to an upper respiratory infection. He is now home happier and healthier than ever. The Dr. was very clear in the information he provided us and constantly kept us up to date on Melons progress. The entire team of Nad Elshiba Vet are genuinely passionate about animals and their well-being this was very evident and something any pet owner will immediately sense.Thank you for taking good care of melon we will see you after 6 months for his routine checkup.

Over complicated, you need a full day to do a simple check for your pet.If you are a friend you can enter with your pet during checking, if they dont know you you have to wait in the reception.Every ear i go once or twice. Still the same.

Im extremely thankful to Dr. Kurt. Our cute and adorable parrot got hit by the ceiling fan and suffered multiple fractures on his right wing. We took him to Nad al sheba vet clinic. He was treated by Dr. Kurt who was extremely professional and friendly and took care of him. Our parrot who was traumatised and scared, started feeling better and got back to normal in 25 days. Hes chirpy, talkative and playful now. From the pictures posted, his injured right wing can be seen hanging and after treatment it got so much better.I had a great experience and will totally recommend this place!

The front desk staff is not accommodating or supportive! Nothing wrong with the clinic or the overall treatments they offer but the reception staff needs to be more understanding!- Unable to reply to your message but guess theres more to it. The appointment was cancelled a day before. Also the contact details noted were incorrect, there was no clear communication and had to repeat my self several times. The next day I chased again as the condition was deteriorating - to the extent when we asked the pet might not be ok the next day and the answer was not something expected from NASVC. As I said it s not about the clinic but there has to be a process to support cases like these.

Comparative to other positive reviews, mine have been a devastating experience... Pls bear with me if you find this post long.... I’m not someone who would write a bad review about anyone or anything. But this is a matter of everyone’s loved pets & for some their companion & lifeline.I had gone their for my little budgie. We were kept there waiting for almost half an hour ( well it’s understood, as the Vet could have been attending an emergency case). My budgie was already stressed after traveling & being in a new environment. As it is he was having respiratory issues. I was asked to keep him in the entrance lobby, where ppl were coming & going. For me it wasn’t a clean place to keep his cage. I was with my budgie throughout. But I felt bad for an injured pigeon kept in a cage across near a dustbin !! Well that is not hygienic for me. I wouldn’t allow that for my pets. The plants water tray was not kept clean. I went outside & waited. I was told the nurse would come to collect his sample. No nurse came. They just relied on what I told them over the phone the previous day, instead of the Vet examining him, my budgie was put on oxygen cubicle for almost 45 mins. He got more stressed with all that in a totally closed cubicle. So basically the Vet examines him after 11/2 hr since we arrived although we were on time. All this while I was at comfort seeing other birds who were being treated, I thought I’m at right place so dint get worried. The Vet said my budgie is critical & needs to stay there only for further examination. I refused as I knew it will become more stressful for him. I agreed that the Vet would just give him medicines ( thought it would be a water / food soluble medicines which I could him which he can have in the comfort of his home ) & rest would be my responsibility. Seeing the Vet going to inject him 5-6 medicines in one go I told him he is already stressed and won’t be able to take it. But the Vet said he needs it. I trusted the Vet. The Vet kept on giving him medicines & dint even realize my budgie had collapsed in the process. The Vet said he was already critical. Being a experienced Vet ( if he is ) should have known the Budgies can’t take so much stress & that too being in a critical condition !! I have been to other Vet for my other budgies... they have always treated them in the most delicate way as they are different from other birds. I’m surprised that the Vet dint realize when he kept on injecting him..? My budgie was critical ( acc. to the Vet) , stressed & still the Vet kept on injecting him. My little budgie couldn’t take so much. I should have got the hint from the initial few minutes and should have left from there. It’s been 3 days and still the whole experience is haunting me. My budgie was playing when I took him , but had to get him back Still. We miss him... seeing his empty cage & toys are heart weeps.Apologies it’s been a long post then I thought , but as I said it is a matter for someone’s loved one’s life. If anyone of you are in a situation where it doesn’t feel right , listen to your heart. Thank you.

This Veterinary Hospital is one of the best. The reception area is very welcoming. The receptionist is extremely polite, helpful and well informed and puts you at your ease straight away. The vets are wonderful people who explain very clearly what they have to do and why. They show they really care both for your feelings and for the animal you have taken for treatment. In addition, there is no high fee like other Veterinary Clinics. They ask you to give a donation so you can give what you can afford. Hats off to Nad Al Shiba Veterinary Hospital.

My heart is tearing apart and my tears are still running while writing this! Its been 3 days since death of Mochi, our 6 weeks healthy tiger look kitten who brought absolute love and joy to our little family. Mochi was no doubt a gift from god. We found him on top of our car when he was just 1 day old with his embryo cord hanging on him while trying to climb the window shield. We did our best to find his mom, but soon came to know she passed away along with her other kittens in an unfortunate incident. Mochi was a fighter! We took him home and cared for him. He soon became the most important member of our family; our centre of attention, our everything! Mochi was a healthy, smart, and fast growing kitten. Yes like all kittens, he was also fragile and needed utmost care, attention, and love. Until one day again he was not himself, he looked weak and had lost appetite! So we contacted you requesting for an emergency visit but as it was 4:45 you refused to accept the appointment. So I had no other choice but to go to another clinic. I chose the veternity hospital for its high rating and google reviews. The doctor diagnosed Mochi with dehydration. Mochi then receieved a very painful treatment. He had injections before at your clinic which went very smoothly. But this time he really suffered and even didnt feel comfortable with the doctor. We felt his condition looked critical so we asked the hospital to admit him. However, the doctor said the situation doesnt look critical and he can continue receiving the medication at home. We then brought mochi home and as soon as we reached within an hour he passed away. Until now we keep asking ourselves what really went wrong... was it due to a wrong diagnosis because normally kittens tend to get either temperature or low blood sugar problems, or was it the injection that may have caused pulmonary embolism as Mochi really had difficulty to breath when we brought him home. I really dont know what caused this sad regretful tragedy but one thing I know for sure, had I had the chance to bring him to you to his own loving doctor, he could have had the chance to live. I wish from the bottom of my aching heart that you had accepted to see him! Because Mochi was a fighter and strong enough to live if he was treated in good caring hands. My advise is to please next time if someone calls and begs for a visit even if you are closing, give them the chance as they may experience a devastating life tragedy and a scar that could reside permanently in their heart.

I asked them for my pets medical records as I’m switching vets because tatiana is on tentative leave and they didn’t provide an explanation. They took more than two days to send me what they had. Which was still incomplete, and no proper communication and explation. After insisting they send all, they said that they lost some of my xrays. I’m still waiting for their response on where the blood test results are which hasn’t been addressed by them. I’m so disappointed in their lack of communication and poor treatment.
