Dr Elisa, a BIG thank you for taking care of our pet cat Jasmine this weekend. She had been bitten in the mouth by an insect/bee and had a badly swollen face and needed medical treatment. Jasmine was a feral cat so still getting used to human contact, it was amazing to watch how calm and and at ease you made her. You managed to administer the required injection and check her mouth in minutes causing her no distress at all. We are very lucky to have you as our local vet. For all those out there looking for a first class local vet, look no further. Highly recommended.

Mark who works there as a nurse is super qualified and he has great knowledge , he took good care of my canaries , and he really gave me the best instruction to save their life while one was almost dyingHe deserves recognition from the owner of the vet and clients too .

Im very grateful that I came across Pet Connection recently. Dr. Eleni is an angel. She is kind and provides very good information to help you proceed with treatment. She also really helped my cat with her excellent surgical skills. Overall they are easy to work with and responsive and are wonderful with strays which I think is really great, especially by providing affordable services to the extent possible.

My cat had swallowed a tiny bit of metal so I had taken her for emergency check up. She was well treated. I found the staff and Dr. Walter quite nice and helpful. Very unprofessional. Cheated me on my bill and did not even care to call me back when I called them to check as I paid a dog bandage and which they did not give to me and when I called to informed and checked, no one reverted back. Not to mention that the bandage they forced to use to my dog dislocated his leg leading him to emergency surgery. No sorry from the doctor nor from the staff and doctor just said arrogantly that they cannot do anything with a loud voice and still let me pay for X-ray and bandage bills. They don’t even let you go to the room to check when you can hear your dog screaming of pain. That time, I was so angry, tense and was crying but had to run to another vet for his surgery. It’s been more than 2 months now and still my dog is recovering.I suggest find another Vet better than regret after.

The only time i had tried going to Pet Connection was for a medical emergency and they turned me down, telling me their avian specialist is in Italy, and then redirected me to another vet which was CLOSED. I had to treat my parrot myself using google. This vet was not helpful whatsoever and could stand to keep another avian specialist on hand in case of emergencies.

Today I took my puppy to Pet Connections Veterinary Clinic for its checkup. Dr. Walter Tarello was assigned to check my puppy. After he saw my puppy he asked me to get a few tests done. So, he took a few samples for the tests. After 15-20 minutes or so the nurse comes to me with a receipt in hand and asked me to pay the fees. After seeing the amount I politely declined the nurse saying that I rather get the tests done somewhere else for a better price. The nurse later asked me to see the doctor.Now this is where it started.Dr. Walter started questioning as to why have I got myself a pet dog when I dont even want the puppy to be healthy. He started shouting at me in front of the staff members, who were nicely enjoying the show, saying that I dont care for my puppy. He kept saying that he will pay for the tests from his own pocket but wont tell me the results, I mean seriously? He kept coming onto me and that lead me to get out of his cabin because I got scared of him and his behavior and kept saying goodbye. Dr. Walter clearly doesnt know how to talk to his clients and most importantly how to respect women.I wonder how this man still has the license to work. I clearly wouldnt recommend new pet owners to go to this clinic. I would have given a thought to pay the fees if Dr. Walter had explained/spoken to me in a polite and respectful way.

Took both my French bulldog and Arabian Mau in for their vaccines. Doctor was amazing. At previous vet they would both be anxious and fight to be treated. Id always be nervous to see their reaction. Here completely different, everything was easy, they loved the doctor and nurse. Both were calm and got their treatments happily (as possible with needles involved hah) definitely our new vet. Thanks so much for making my babies comfortable.

This hospital really not gud.. They admitted our animal in hospital for stomach problem. But after one day they said she is died if they cant do treatment well why they admit the animal.. Its just greedy for money do nt know how to treat the pet...

Awful doctor lacking in basic compassion and professionalism. When we called to make an appointment, they quoted us a price. Upon reaching, the doctor quoted us 4 times the price. When we asked questions about the increase, the doctor got hostile and implied we dont care about our dog. Very pushy about getting the insurance and they are not wearing masks at all times. Seems like a place only concerned with making money and treating people awfully to push their agenda.

Visited the vet to treat my wounded budgie (Losa), she had an accident, and her chest was swollen like a balloon from one side, not to mention that she broke her beak and she was bleeding from the noise, she was not flying anymore and sleeping most of the day with her head facing backward, but she was at least eating, I visited another vet before Pet Connection and they provided antibiotic for the wound, but the chest swollen appeared the next day so I visited the Pet Connection vet, Dr. Walter examined her and decided that her crop was paralyzed, the swollen was because of an air sac damage, which can not be treated and it should heal by itself, Dr.Walter injected her with cortisone twice (in two different days), and couple of days later she became fine again , the swollen disappeared in about 10 days.It was a good experience and the vet staff was even kind enough to provide a voucher for my next visit.Thank you so much Dr.Walter for your help, you saved my precious Budgie.

We went with my puppy(golden retriever) to get thorough examination before bringing (buying)him at home. The lady who examined seemed unprofessional as well as when we requested for medical bath for him they charged us 300dhs. Later, we realised only superficially he was cleaned. We took package which we canceled and got refund. Pls Don’t trust them blindly. We felt cheated.

DOCTOR THOWING THINGS AGAINST THE WALL-I started with the treatment for my puppy end of July with Dr. Walter- The full treatment cost was around 4500 dhr. He diagnoses my puppy with a blood infection. Today was the last visit to complete the treatment. He required to do a blood test to check in how the treatment went, but guess what? they ask me to make a payment of another 480 dhr for the check.When they hang me the paper, I start a discussion with Dr. Walter saying that it should be include in the treatment and that i m feeling only ripped off. I mentioned that if he diagnose the puppy he should check also if he was effective.The doctor start TROWING AGAINST THE WALL some parcel that he received from US and shouting he said why i m questioning him and his diagnose. The nurse was looking at the situation and did not move. I questioned him his attitude, he removed the mask and start shouting to me.I paid for the test they charged me for some other antibiotics.I ask kindly to be removed from their system... cant be dealing with a doctor that flips and he starts trowing things against the wall threatening the clients

I have been knowing Pet connection since moving to dubai 8 years ago! For me they are really the best! Dr. Walter and his team saved our fur baby’s life for the second time in 4 years! She would have died without them. Safe to say, this is the only clinic I trust in all of Dubai. The other hospital misdiagnosed her. Our dog had to stay in the hospital for almost 2 weeks and she received the most loving care and attention from the nurses there. My cockatiel albino accidentally swallowed the tube rubber earlier, so i run to the pet connection in albarsha to get it removed. And they did it! Im very satisfied on how they accommodate me and my lovely bird. 😊

This is one of the worst clinics I’ve ever been to they take advantage of the pet owners because we know nothing about medications, they trick you into injecting things into your pets that are useless and charge 1500+ for 3 mediocre injections that in other places would cost 500 only. Dr. Walter is horrid with the animals treats them like toys and hurts them whilst just doing a checkup. This place should be closed immediately.

I loved the clinic their they would update us about my cat everyday the staff are so nice thanks to dr.Walter for saving my cat. I am very glad to take my cat to this clinic I also loved the environment their.

I had a very bad experience and lost a pet as a result of their negligence. My turtle had developed some sort of respiratory issue and couldn’t breath so I took her immediately to this vet since they were the only “reptile specialist” in Dubai. After each visit, my turtle only got worse. I went three times over 3 weeks, because I was extremely concerned. All they did was give her 2 shots (vitamin d shot and some antibiotic shot ) which clearly didn’t do anything. She took her last breath before the 4th visit. My turtle stopped eating, moving, and breathing. God rest her soul. Im still completely heart broken seeing her suffer that long and being helpless. And no support or concern what so ever from their side because it was just a “turtle”. Aside from the expensive costs, at no point did I feel that the staff ever really cared, which makes me wonder to what degree they were actually trying to provide care. None of this would have mattered if my turtle made it, but unfortunately she did not, and I can’t recommend this place for anyone seeking professional pet care.

If you love your pet, this clinic is an absolute no-go. From unfortunate personal experience, and now the ability to compare how professional clinics operate, this establishment should be totally avoided.

I remember few years back my son bought a chameleon, he wasn’t well so we took him to this vet and we met Mr Walter , he injected it 3 injections and the pet turn white and dried, they immediately died ! And we had to pay 1500 Dhs after that !! infront of my son who was 7 years old . It traumatized my son for years . I have no idea how come this place is still open ! I should have reported them back then .Take your pets somewhere else if you love them .

Thank god I finally found this horrible place by chance while trying to find a proper vet clinic.This place is far from being a vet clinic, the main doctor “middle person in most pics” is a horrible human being! He treated my poor squirrel very carelessly. He gave him two shots & ended up dying in front of me at the clinic. If you care about your beloved pet don’t even think about going to this horrible place. The doctor should retire for good. Enough from killing innocent souls for money.

My experience with this clinic was simply wonderful. We arrived at 8pm at night with our cat who suddenly seemed extremely unwell. The treatment extended from immediate surgery to 2 weeks of hospitalisation. The clinic is well equipped & maintained, and staff are extremely professional and friendly. Knowing our concern for the cat, they updated us on her progress 3 times a day through WhatsApp; and did everything they could to ensure that both the cat as well as her family were comfortable. Dr. Ali and Dr. Walter were simply outstanding. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Do NOT bring your parrot to Pet connection or to see Dr. Walter. He first handedly killed my African grey parrot that I have had for 18 years, more than half my life.I had to take my parrot after witnessing her not eating or drinking the whole day and making unusual sounds/wheezing. After taking her out I realized that she was trying to squeeze something out of her and through my research online, I figured that she was actually trying to lay an egg - which was a shock to me as she has never had a mate. At this point it was around 7pm and was trying urgently to get her to a vet that handles birds. I called Pet connection and was assured that they have a vet who deals with parrots. When I brought her in, the vet initially looked at her and said she simply has “diarrhea”, but after I had told him that she is trying to lay an egg, he seemed very shock after feeling her stomach. I told him that he had to try to massage the egg out of her as it looked like she was having some trouble, and only after trying for about 3/4 minutes, I came back into the room and next thing I know Dr. Walter had broken the egg inside of her with his fingers. I reiterated to him multiple times that he should not have done that as it is extremely dangerous, he said that the egg was too large (please know that at this point NO X-ray was taken to even see whether the egg was actually too big) and not to worry as he gave the parrot an antibiotic injection and Oxytocin to help her muscles squeeze the rest of the broken egg throughout the night. There was blood all over the table and he told me this was very “normal”. He also told me that they could not keep her as they don’t have the supplies for parrots. The next day, there was blood all over the bottom of her cage and I had spoken to Dr. Walter mentioning this to him and he told me again that this is very normal as she is squeezing the remaining egg and that I should bring her again again for another antibiotic injection. After the call I knew that there was still something very wrong - I held her and realized that part of her internal organ was coming out of her. Extremely shocked and worried I ended up going to another vet who I know specialize in parrots and have a surgery centre. After dropping her off, the vet told me that they took an x-ray and found that there was still half an egg inside of her (it was now in her abdomen) and they had to do surgery immediately. After opening her up, he had called me to tell me that due to the egg not being broken properly and due to her muscles contracting constantly from the injection that she was given, the sharp edges of the broken egg had completely torn her insides apart and there was nothing he could do to repair the damage. She had to be put down.He informed me, that in the worst case scenario if an egg does have to be broken during the parrots labour due to it being too large, there are specific steps to take, the first being sucking out all of its contents using an injection and then crushing the egg completely so they are all tiny bits. He also mentioned that before doing ANYTHING, Dr. Walter should have taken the initial steps to try and see if he can ease the process of releasing the egg naturally by giving her fluids (calcium) to give her some strength as she was very weak, keeping her in a warm place and taking an X-ray to make sure that the egg wasn’t too big before deciding to break it. Pet connection absolutely was the causing factor of killing my parrot as they had not taken the correct steps. If Dr. Walter truly did not know what to do then he should have INFORMED me that this was his first experience with an African grey laying an egg and that I should take her somewhere else. She suffered that whole night because of you.How DARE you take advantage of my situation when I was in dire need of trying to help my parrot, especially given the circumstances of the lockdown, and for also insisting on having to bring her back for another 2 injections of antibiotics so you can take more money from me. I hope you never forget what you have done.

Can’t thank you enough for Dr. Walter and the rest of his team at Pet Connection. Dr. Walter is has been Susi’s Vet since day one. Susi is our 10 yr old pekingese that is still healthy and very active. Our last check up with Dr. Walter was to treat an infection which was done in utmost care.

Went to a number of vets for my dogs alergies with no results. From walking in pet connection diagnosed correctly my dog gave treatment and results have been great. Highly recommended. In my experience the best. Great stuff with a gift of handling pets. In fact note should be taken that the doctors assistant when he held my dog my dog which normally hates injections became so calm that the doctor administer injection with no fuss. Other centenary clinics either put on a muzzle or took forever which stressed my dog out. As long as we are in Dubai we will always use pet connection.

This place is absolutely awful! I will never return and never recommend someone to come here. I can not believe how disgusting and horrible this hospital is. All they care about is money. Not the animals wellbeing. Not the feelings of the owner. Nothing. Its absolutely horrible.

I had my cat spayed on a different clinic, I asked yesterday if its possible to remove her stiches even though the surgery wasnt done on their clinic, and the person i spoke with said yes and gave me a detailed price. Today, i received an email about their 10th year anniversary and theyre providing 50% discount on examination and a voucher for an amount of 85 aed on any services, so I called and verify this voucher and the person i spoke with said that it can only be availed yesterday.My wife went directly on the clinic to ask and was told that the voucher is available for the whole week and suddenly providing that the removal of stiches is not allowed.So we get 2 different information for the voucher and as well as for the removal of stiches.If its possible i would like to get in touch with the management.

Dr Walter is very loving and joyful ! I took my canary there almost a year ago, and they treated him with care, and after giving him the proper meds, he was fine THE VERY NEXT DAY!, few days back I adopted a parrot and I just wanted to make sure everything is fine with the parrot, she would always be scared and quiet, and would always run away from me or try to bite me, but as soon as Dr Walter approached her, she easily went on his arms very easily, this just shows how experienced they are!

On the 1st of April, I took my pet chicken for her monthly Methylprednisolone injection, unlike every other month the dosage differed.I was charged an extra 195 dirhams for an avian examination which did not happen, I confronted Rodelie (the receptionist) as to why I would have to pay for a service that has not been provided..Dr. Walter was standing behind her acting like he could not hear what was happening, so I said doctor, did you examine Alex? He replied saying oh no no I didn’t. The full amount was later deducted from the invoice. (This incident has happened many times)Once I got home I noticed a change in my pets behavior, she was lethargic, weak and had a loss of appetite.The next morning she was breathing heavily, her comb was almost black. I got a hold of Dr. Walter, I sent him multiple videos and photos to understand why this was happening.. He responded saying it’s a transition reaction, let her rest.I told him her comb is almost black, she can not breathe, can I bring her in? He responded saying we will give her oxygen when I bring her in.At 10 AM I was at the clinic, to my surprise they were understaffed, I stood there from 10AM till 1:40 PM holding the oxygen mask with no signs of improvement.We agreed on moving her into an oxygen chamber and I was completely surprised, the chamber had a missing tube that connects to the oxygen source, the staff used a piece of cloth to close the opening and asked me to leave.I had so many questions, would there be a nurse with her at all times? How often would the pressure in the air chamber be raised? Would she be inside the chamber overnight? The nurse responded “ I’m not sure the oxygen tank will last overnight.” I asked if I could take her home but I was told she would be better off hospitalized and the doctor would be online with them.I was charged 285 dirhams for the nursing fee apart from the other services I was happy to pay for.I was updated on an hourly bases, the last video I received showed improvement, a few moments later I got a call from the clinic saying that she passed away and that Dr. Walter was expecting her to pass away.I asked for my pet to be cremated, to which they responded there would be a fee I would have to pay before they send her to the laboratory for cremation.I visited them on the 4th of April with my father, as we walked in we bumped into Dr. Walter.My father said, hello doctor, we are here because we are a little confused as to what has happened, your staff said that the oxygen tank would not last overnight and that you were expecting Alex to die, however you texted my daughter saying you were surprised when you got the news.Dr. Walter started yelling and jumping saying that he is not responsible for what his staff says and he runs to his office and locks himself in. (He also blocked me on WhatsApp) At a difficult time like this you would expect a “doctor” to console his customers that lost a pet he’s been treating for years.I was told the cremation would take anywhere between 5-7 days and the laboratory’s fee is 325 dirhams.I received my pets ashes 27 days later, I also contacted CVR Laboratory and was told that the cremation fee for a pet under 1kg is 100 AED.Please if you care about your pets, think twice before bringing them to this clinic.They will push in as many unnecessary procedures and services in order to generate more money.I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and unethical vet..I wrote this detailed review so your pets would not face the same fate as mine.

Super scary experience (roughly Jan 2018). Took a Persian kitten for her first vaccination, when suddenly they scared us she has some super rare disease and will die if vaccinated and so instead hundreds of AED paid for some dubious tests which came out surprisingly positive (later research told us this is common - those tests mean nothing and the kitten was fine and healthy). They then sold some foam for her to lick and many other things and said they need a special medicine injected to save her which is out of stock, so we should obtain it from a number they gave us and come back. We never looked back. We were shaken when we stepped out. Unfortunately so shaken that we never vaccinated the kitten and thought she would die anyway. She lives, is healthy, and has had kittens of her own.These Vets pretend to be caring and looking after your pets but they’re there for the money. Dishonest vets and dishonest staff. The poor kitten went through a terrible test procedure while she yelped as they put things into her back side.I’m not sure who to recommend as I’ve heard similar stories from other vets. Perhaps most vets here are the same?

Dr. Walter and his staff are very professional, honest and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to make sure their pets are in good hands!

We highly recommend pet connections for your furry friends as you know they are in safe hands. The doctor and nurse (mark) were very friendly and efficient. Our cats were at ease while they had their check ups and vaccinations done. My experience so far has been fantastic with the Clinic but especially with Dr. Walter! He is an amzing Dr. and you can see how much he loves his little patients 😊. He saved the life of my beloved cat and I would never be enough grateful!

Theyve taken excellent care of our pet Cockatoo and has taken in our bird for boarding at the last minute for vacations etc. They loves birds and knows about lot about them. They never once has treated my bird roughly in any way. I would not take my bird to anyone else. Thank you, Pet Connection!!! 💕

I brought my cat to Dr. Walter Tarello on the recommendations from a friend. My cat had a medical history according to my previous Vet of gingivities. My previous Vet pulled out 6 of his teeth(over time) to control the infection.According to Dr. Walter Tarello it was a misdiagnosis. He then treated my cat. I have been with Pet Connection for the last 2 years. Most importantly, I have seen a significant improvement with my pet. My experience has been satisfactory with the care that has been given to my pet.

I took my parrot there for the first time and they diagnosed him with chlamydia. The doctor told me that he has to get a shot every week for 7 weeks and that would treat him. The first two weeks were fine but after that everything started to get worse. My parrot was having difficulty in breathing so I took him back to the vet. The doctor told me that my parrot will be fine after 2 hours of his treatment, however, by injecting him everything got worse adding to that the pain my parrot had to go through during the process when he had to push and pull the needle in and out several times because it wasnt a good needle still leaves me in shock. I doubt he even diagnosed him with the right disease to start with. He couldnt eat, walk, stand on his perch (he was suffering the whole day) so he ended up dying the next day.The worst clinic Ive ever been to and the worst service Ive gotten where I had to call multiple times to get updated and trying to find out why my parrot was not getting better after 2 hours of his treatment.There should be zero stars especially for a place like this. Such a disappointment where I thought Id give this place a chance regarding the negative reviews Ive read, but now that I think of it I shouldve listened to all these bad reviews.My response:First of all, you diagnosed him with both Chlamydia and Syngamus but you acted as if chlamydia was the main problem in him. You did not stress enough how deadly Gapeworms are to me at all. Instead you told me that it can be treated and cured. This is probably your way to take more money. Second of all, the doctor himself with his bare tongue told me that the disease cannot be passed to humans so why are you saying otherwise? (you should have warned us before not now).p.s. where are all the sudden good reviews coming from huh....

Always bringing my cat here and I am very content with their professional attitude by which they offer their services. Very friendly reception and nurses and great doctors.

If you want to feel uncomfortable or disrespected then go to this clinic!This is a place that I used to go to long time ago and I thought that after a few years they might change. Gosh they didnt. They are worse.I took my cat to the them and doctor @ was so focused on listing things that the cat needed prior and after surgery! The doctor who would perform surgery is not there, he will be there after ten days and naturally they wanted me to keep the cat with them all those ten days. Why? We all know why and what it will cost.Doctor @ was very rude and his attitude was shocking after we said that right now it would be difficult for us to leave him because we have such a low budget and he went from being ok to being very rude! He either thinks that we dont love our cats or its all about the money!He even asked me at the beginning do you know anything about cats!? Do you know the policy of cats! Do you know what to do when he has a fever? Did you know that he has a fever!?I dont know of course Im here because I wanted him to help me not to treat me like Im the worst cat owner ever. I bought a street cat that I wanted to help! He treated me like I hate cats!!!!!!!So awkward!Also the staff giggled non stop and kept laughing non stop! So unprofessional!Good luck to them! But seriously thats how I felt and thats what really happened!

I highly recommend visiting this clinic with your pets. They have lovely staffs and very good vet.

Words cannot describe the care you receive when you take any of your pets So many nice knowledgeable people.They also have a clean facilities.Everyone is so friendly and professional, they care about our pets. Definitely would recommend family and friends to bring their pets there.

The Doctors, Nurses and Staff are very professional and helpful

We have been visiting the clinic since I got 2 street cats and and we never had a big problem with the cats. I would take the cats for vaccination and occasionally consultation only. Very friendly staff at the reception. . .I would see different doctors every time.. but the cats were ok.. so... no big deal.But unfortunately the worse happened.My cat Valentina was hit by a car in my neighborhood. we were not at home, and when we arrived We found her screaming at the neighbors garden. I immediately took her to the clinic, on my way I managed to call the emergency number and ask for a doctor. the response was very quick, doctor Walter made it o the clinic immediately and for that we were very thankful.Valentina, was in shock, she actually had lost one leg, she was half body skinless.. poor thing... Doctor Walter examined and immediately took actions to stop the pain, and gave her the necessary medications.He mentioned that he was going on leave that night, but that Valentina was OK, to wait for few days and have an operation to amputate the rest of the leg, but that he was confident about that. He assured us that she would receive 24 hours care at the clinic.I also had a business trip, I left but my husband was in touch with the clinic. For the next 2 days, the clinic was calling us to update and saying that everything was under control, and she was responding well to the medications and was even eating now.. and that they would recommend operating her in another 2 days , when she would be stronger.The next call we received, was that her temperature was too high and unfortunately that night she died. We were shocked.Suddenly she died.What obviously could have happened and we believed that what the clinic said was right, she contracted and infection and died.What makes us even more sad, it was the way was handled. My husband spoke to the new doctor , that he dint know.. he found the explanation very standard and somehow cold .. and thats the reason he wanted to speak with Dr Walter, who was already back in Dubai by then.He never called to explain, or he he did not manage to reach us , we left many message that we wanted to speak with him, we want to hear an explanation, they only sent us the report via email. and that is the end.We were not only heartbroken with Valentinas death , if you are an animal lover.. you know the pain.. but also very disappointed at the team in general.. Did Valentina had the appropriate treatment? what happened? was she in pain? Why did she suddenly got worse? we never got answered. and for that I would never recommend anyone to go through the pain as we did.

The Story of the cat Figaro and the spoiled cheeseFirst of all let me tell that I am a customer of the Pet Connection clinic since 8 years. I started my adventure with my baby bulldog Naki and later on some more babies came in.The eccentric doctor Walter has been always the one to follow my babies and always will be. With his deep passion for animals and his expertise has been always my favorite veterinary.After all this introduction let me tell you my recent experience.My baby cat “ Figaro “ has just had his dose of vaccinations last week and for that I had to prepare myself mentally because I’m scared of the vaccinations for my pets. Anyway the story is that this week I was cooking my dinner as usual and I as pure Italian I wanted to use some Parmesan for one of my dishes. The Parmesan that was brought from my mom directly from Italy unfortunately had some Mould so I decide to clean it. My Figaro that is faster than the sound in the moment I turned my back took this little plastic bag containing that spoiled part of the Parmesan. When I turned and I saw this crazy cat eating from that bag I immediately run to remove from his sharp teeth. I cleaned his mouth and I hide that plastic bag. I actually I didn’t pay attention and I didn’t think that could have been the cause of an infection of fungus. I actually forgot about this episode.Figaro after a couple of days started to be more quiete and this is unusual believe me and he started to have less appetite and sorry to say soft p..*p. So paranoid as usual I called immediately doctor Walter who told me to bring Figaro for consultation.I was already worried and thinking about the worst because unfortunately I lost a previous cat called Porsha. Anyway I brought figaro and I explained the doctor what happened so Doctor Walter and the team decide to do some blood check to see if there were any type of parassite. I was doubting about that because this is an indoor pet. Anyway the did all the check ups and doctor Walter from the analysis room asked me did you give cheese to your cat and I told him no. So he called me inside to see the screen where millions of fungus were nicely appearing all over. Basically this parasites due to the cheese and maybe a bit for the vaccination were giving discomfort to my baby.Anyway Doctor Walter amazed by the case prescribed me the right medicine to give to Figaro the “Parmesan eater”.So the moral of the story is that Pet Connection with his great team and the artistic Doctor Walter are the place to go. Professional and very kind with a truly passion for pets.A small advice for all the pets owners: try to keep always cheese from your beloved babies as it is not good for them.

Update: I got a friendly call from the clinic and we discussed my concerns and experience. They have vowed to have improved their service and transparency and are confident future visits from their customers will have a different impact on them. I have left my original review below until my next visit and experience. Wish them the best.Dishonest vets. The moment you step in even for a vaccination, you’re looking at them using scare tactics to extort thousand dirhams+ by performing needless tests and prescribing needless medication. The staff is in on this with the doctors. They’re unhelpful, will lie you about upfront fees and you’ll soon realize that a lot of the fees was hidden from you in the form of “external lab fees” and the 150 AED you were initially quoted turns into 1000AED+ on your first visit. At a later time I revisited out of desperation and was trying to ask the person at the counter for the fees it would take for tests and he kept saying “sir Lab fees will be extra, I don’t know how much they will be”. After repeatedly asking to give me an idea, I’m glad the other girl at the counter stepped in and honestly said “you’re looking at 1200+”, where as the other guy was telling me kind of low consultation fee + some low test fee + some unknown lab fees, trying to bait me in.Shameful tactics. If I was a licensed vet, I wouldn’t deploy such shameless tactics to earn what I deem as unlawful earnings.Stay clear and find an honest vet based on a personal recommendation.And please don’t reply back with a “we checked our records, we don’t know who you are”. You don’t need to know your customers. You need to know the above is true and do something about it. You’re already at a wonderful spot in barsha. Were you not greedy, I bet you’d have even more business than you get now from gullible people who don’t know any better out of fear and love for their pets. Even if my pets are dying I’d rather take them to 20 miles away to a more ethical honest veterinary clinic.
