Not high class but rooms are spacious and all extras that are missing from many hotels now are provided. Slippers, full bathroom kit with simple stuff such as shaving kit in the bathroom makes a quick business stay valuable. If you need any thing else, just call reception. Mens hairdresser and good supermarket are just across the road...

Personnel are very nice, the rooms are beautiful, but the food been serving is not. Every day curry and rice with one disch that differs(not enough). Also asking for a glass with little bit of ice 23 AED for empty glass with ice.

Its one of the very good hotels in Abu Dhabi - Khalidiyah Area.Its very near to the corniche beach and corniche road.Grocery store - SPAR & coop (24 hours, wineshop, local shops are within walking distance.Would recommend to anyone who is coming for a business trip of leisure travel in Abu Dhabi.

Worst stay I ever had... Especially all room walls are chipboard... Guy next door on phone seems he is talking to me..No basement parking... Guys at the valet parking are difficult to get as the are always busy in parking and bringing cars back to reception...Receptionist seems always tired and doesnt seem interested in job.Food quality was way far from any cheap outlet outside...Fungus in washroomAC. Duct was spilling condensate inside room.Safety locker not working.... Informed... Never fixed in 21 days...I wonder people spend millions in business and workers ruin there business.....

Clean spacious room. Very good quick service at the reception. Good view of the city at night. A lot of food options nearby. Pool was closed though, SPA was open.

I was pleasantly surprised at how big the rooms are. It is tastefully decorated and there are many fantastic restaurants and cafes close by. Definitely worth the dirhams

I stayed here during lock down period from 09th April to 05th May. I am really happy to see the dedication of the staff towards the guests.During this tough time also they were serving with smile and efficiency. Hats off to the catering staff.Very quick room service. Also housekeeping staff was very efficient.It was wonderful stay .I would like to stay here in future also.Only thing need improvement is lake of variety in food for Vegetarians. Need to vary the menu.

The standards have to improve to be even called acceptable for a 4 star?? , as compared to hotels I stayed in many parts of the world and their service level.I have given 3 stars exclusively for the courteous behaviour of some of the staff. Seems Not customer friendly, and the booking was by office. May be everything goes type . The morning breakfast is good, but the restaurant floors can be cleaned when someone spills something and it dries out instead of the boarder having his shoes sticking to the floor. Slightly away from central markets. Ambience is good, peaceful and silent. Rest of the facilities of hotel I did not use.

More of a 3 star hotel and the correct standard of hotel as expected for the price paid for one night. Clean and good hot shower. Slept well on the king sized bed. Hotel has a Irish bar downstairs that serves alcohol and Jones the grocer is 1min walk for dinner

Stayed for a day and had good experience. Receptionist were dull and not inviting. Good amenities like Smart tv, Good furnishings, study table, lavish restroom and wardrobe were available. Had a great view of the city.Theyre not mentioning the check in and check out timing properly. Receipts are provided only if demanded.There is a kerala-style restaurant best Chicken close by to get economy food. Food at the restaurant might be expensive. Choitram supermarket in nearby.

20 days, B&B.Location is perfect and nearby many facilities.Breakfast was quite good but didnt satisfy me.Cleanness was good.Staff hospitality was great and they were very helpful.For me, Fádo was good as well.

Went for lunch to Fados on 6/7/19 to celebrate an occasion. Fish tacos were good. the much praised shepherds pie was a disaster - 1 tsp filling submerged under 3 inches of mashed potato. My friends roast chicken was good, accompanying veggies were collapsed in a mush and unedible . Only 3-5 customers , but service was slow . Nice start, terrible end.

In past this furniture shop was having good quality, but now quality is reduced as compare to price, poorly arranged furniture, difficult to check and inspect, they must re arrange in proper manner, especially in upper area

Hotel is relatively low quality. I say this because I bought a bottle of wine at the wine shop located at the hotel (the hotels name is even on the receipt), but reception informed me that they would not provide a wine glass for me because I did not purchase the bottle from room service! Can you imagine!? Im forced to drink wine from the bottle in my deluxe king room. Not feeling very deluxe or king-like at the moment. That would have been expected at a hostel in my 20s, but not here! Also just noticed that there are holes in the sheets.

I have given it 4 for its fabulous location surrounded by coffee shops and great restaurants. There is even a playground area near the hotel. The rooms are spacious and its good for families.

It looks more like a single room apartment. But believe me, I stayed 5 nights in Hilton Corniche, but I liked Oryx better than Hilton. Theres a smart TV where I was able to connect to YouTube, FB & spent good time.The Room service is so good that they deliver within minutes what we order..!! The location is near to a local park, some super markets,and many other shops.

Such a poor poor poor poor hotel, never worth trade to be 4star! Not even one star for this hotel.The hotel room is very poor actually they chrage you for stanard room but they will give lower end rooms. Useless receptionist to helo for any assistance.The breakfast is okey! Worth for one star but the staff at the breakfast was so so so so rude the ladies think as you are having breakfast without paying.I will never recommend anyone to stay here.

Understaffed with no one to help with luggage. Staff that are there are not particularly friendly, which is unusual for hotel staff in the Emirates. Nevertheless the rooms are very spacious and well appointed - good value for the location and room size.

It was not the first time staying at Oryx and the main entrance experience was not at all good just like the previous time.The receptionist was not welcoming and warm at all but rather very unfriendly, cold and serious.The room was clean and okay but not wow.

I give one star due to the lovely screeching lady who was understaffed serving breakfast. She was great. When ever I heard her telling down the phone, I felt normal about how messed up the place was. Thank you dear lady.Right. Now, lets get on with the review...The swimming pool is not for use after 5 PM. Yeah, right. In Abu Dhabi. Ha ha!The receptionist staff are are about as sour faced as flat bread...I wish the owner had to spend 40 days and 40 nights eating the apalling food the hotel serves up. The breakfast is literally slop... cheapest rubbish from a supermarket youve never had the misfortune of stepping into... the coffee like a used teabag had been momentarily dipped into it. Basically waking up to ptolinged hell.. especially from the bad nights sleep...No sleep! The first week I was put on a floor with a family of ferile hillbillies. Children running from one end of the hallway to the other screaming until 1 AM! Once Id finally complained, the security guard said to me theyre only children. About a week later they finally moved me from the family floor to the floor below, only to have the privilege of listening to these lovely families bang around from above.The manager is very trustworthy though. Sarcasm. Thanks for the terrible stay.If youve read this far keep looking. I found Abu Dhabi has much better hotels that serve real coffee for breakfast!

Love the hotel. Really enjoyed my stay here. Sad to go back home. But i will come back soon and stay here again. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. I stayed here 2 weeks and loved the hotel and the room. The hotel is 5 mins walk to the corniche and a 5min drive to Hamdhan Street where u can do plenty of shopping. And best of all my home comforts with a Tesco and Spar so close by. THIS HOTEL IS IDEAL FOR ALL THOSE WHO VISIT ABU DHABI.
