Worst experience. They will tell buffet but they dont. They will send food to your room what they have. No proper service. If you ask any service, they will take hours. Food was worst. Highly recommend not go. Hotel looking good in website but old rooms.

Good place for stay, receptionist is good and friendly. All facilities available including tea kattle, complimentary water and slippers.

I am currently staying in this hotel. Upon check-in they asked me for my room preference, but in the end since the room i requested is not available they give me something i do not like, so i consider and thats okay. Due to hygiene purposes I understand that its not advisable to use a mug or whatsoever, so they have these styro-cups/recyclable cups for coffee, however, bad thing about this, its leaking. so i call the reception if they can atleast give me something a ceramic cup/mug perhaps, i can clean it on my own since i will be the one using it on my stay. but no, the lady that i spoke with today Sept 9 at 9am said that i am the only one complaining about the cups. OH really? is this how customer service works? housekeeping comes, he never collected the trash from the bins even.

I face pest issue in my room , they upgrade my room immediately with huge spacious one. No parking, you need to pay 15 AED so they will park your car at the next hotel. You need to wait for long to bring ur car back. The staff are friendly, I feel pity on them they have to deal with this everyday.

The stay here was good. They had everything you would need for a lay over in the city.Room service was good. They provide valet parking...all in all it was a good experience I would stay here again

Room is not so good smell, the smell or vibes when you enter the room is not so refreshing. We cant be able to charge your mobile near by to your bed because theres no any plug on it. Receptionist is not so accommodating and friendly. I asked a favor to help me to get a cab or taxi but directly she answered I cant help you. I check-in at 6pm and next day I called if I can go out by 5pm at least but receptionist said no you must go check out and go down at 2pm. When I checked the 12floor I stayed in a lot of room still closed and empty. Theres no consideration at all.

Location , room spacious good. Service is not acceptable . For 2 pax only 2 small water per day. Seriously ? . Even 1 star hotels provide water when required complimentary . Towels and other guest supplies were also had to request. Wht ever I requested them , their answer was not possible. Totally disappointed

Positives : Good size rooms, friendly staff, very good price.Negetives: extra charges for parking. 2 water bottles per day extra charge for additional water bottles. Beds are not very comfortable. Gym was closed due to Covid.

Overall hotel was good, interior was surprisingly good and staff were polite and friendly, overall stay was nice and parking quite difficult to find and hotel location is incorrect in maps, Shocking was hotel name doesnt appear until you reach to the building written in very small and the name is different too it doesnt match with the booking

I hope that message go for the hotel owner to care about his place. Min if you cannot renew the place care about hospitality and services this is the my last visit never come back again.

Our hotel experience was so bad. We were 3 people who stayed at the hotel the receptionist kept calling us (4 times) at at 12 midnight just so we will pay for the extra person. why? cant you just wait for the morning? if in fact they have my emirates id we will not escape. my mother has insomnia and she did not fall asleep after four calls. I can not recommend this hotel. Never again 👎

I left my speakers in the hotel room and the staff said they couldn’t find it. I left it on the table. They lied to me. So unprofessional. Won’t recommend as the staff are very shady and caused me a lot of trouble.

Very poor service...old hotel...no proper food...they will say buffet before booking room...but check in they wont provide any buffet...they will simply give whatever they have...they will not ask customer choice also...what ever they give we have to eat or else they will charge extra if we ask anything else..very dissappointed here..

Hotel is budget friendly. Stayed there for 5 days. Front desk is really efficient.Its a old hotel and rooms are bit shabby.They doesnt provide plate/spoon/fork unless you are ordering food from them, which I really didnt like. They give complementary tea n coffee but will give only 2 pouch of sugar for a single day. Even if you ask for more, they will send 2 more only.

The staying there was pleasant, clean, comfortable and as expected to the prices range. No parking is an issue and few renovation is recommended!

My experience was good.

Company booked accommodation here for 12 days in 2019, excellent stay. But 2 lacunae -1. Nozzles required for toilets. Many occupants are Asian and prefer using water nozzles over bidets or toilet paper2. They provide 2 bottles of 250ml drinking water per room which is so poor. I went to restaurant to refill my own bottle but was rudely denied. Then we filled at the park opposite. Hotel needs to be better in this. Atleast they should provide drinking water dispensers in each floor where occupants can fill their own bottles.

Its lovely place, check in procedure took a little more time than expected but the staff are kind and welcoming at the reception. Its good thing that they have rooms for 3 adults with king size beds. The reservation was as booked and rooms are spacious. No parking for the hotel is one bad thing actually. So after 9.00pm you habe to park your car in a paid parking area. Anyhow its so good so far. Recommended.

Dont go there! Waiting time for check in is 20 min+. Once actually getting on the counter, they do intensive checks and disappear with your ID for 10 min+. And then, they want to see your booking id, numbers and everything. The actual email. Just the name or phone number is not enough. The WiFi in the room is not even not enough to watch a 420p video on YouTube.Pay 10uad more and please go to a different hotel. Where you will be checked in 40 seconds and not 30min. And check out will be a 5 seconds instead of 15 min waiting. I have been to many hotels in the city, this is the worst by far.

Hotel is nice but staff are the slowest on earth. If you have a car, be prepared for paid parking cuz the hotel doesnt offer parking spaces! Children till 12 years old are not free. The hotel lies about it. When you check in they make you pay for children above 5 years for their breakfast!!!

First of all the check-in process was late, it tooks time.I booked the room for 2 persons and the towels was for only one person and there was no hand towel and dental kit in washroom. I called reception to send.There was no water bottles in room and I called the reception again, but they said the water will be chargeable.I faced the TV channels problem. Most of the TV channels was not working and the channels which is in the list is not the same in IP box. In the last before checkout I requested for 2 prayer mats, after 20 mins the room attendant bring only 1. I called the reception again for 5 times to send me one more prayer mat, but they said ok sir we will send for each time and finally I received before I called for 6th time. So i was waiting for 35 to 45 mins just for prayer mats. Very very poor service. The positive thing from the hotel is they given me the late check-out and thanks for that.

No proper information of the parking place and due to this we have to pay parking fine twice.

Check in fine and good central location near to underground car park. However our room on a non-smoking floor was incredibly smoky. Clearly they dont take a penalty charge against clients who break the rules and they dont do a deep clean after somebody smokes in a non-smoking room. Horrible smell.They changed us to a better room but didnt seem interested in the smelly room at all.In the morning, the shower water was not very warm so we couldnt shower - poor really.Otherwise its a cheap and centrally located hotel - a bit old and tired though and not much management interest in giving us a non-smelly room with hot water. Its not much to ask really.We would book somewhere else next time

The hotel is nice. The staff was hospitable and welcoming. The fact that they dont have a valet could deter people but Mawaqef parking is available and abundant, with 3 storeys underground.We had a free upgrade and the room was spacious and clean. We were 4 people: 2 adults and 2 children. We didnt have any difficulties or mishaps.

It is a very nice and affordable hotel but there is one thing that you should know about i.e. they dont have Muslim showers in the bathrooms. Instead they have bidets. so if you are comfortable in using bidet;good for you.

Stayed here overnight, the place was a bit old, some of the gym equipments were not functioning but the staff are nice and accomodating, the breakfast is delicious as well. but overall, we had a comfortable time.

A good hotel, I stayed on 21st floor which is newly built unit and has spacious large rooms. Overall I would say the location is 8/10 as its 12 minutes walk from corniche and around 15 minutes walk from the beach. Luckily I got the rare chance of seeing rain in the city and weather got pleasant in November - December.

Despite booking these people acted like we were venturing without their knowledge and the waiter was playing like a spy. Despite his age, he had very poor customer approach. Pathetic experience.

The beds are good, bud the forniture and the spaces of the hotel was to old and smelling smoke of cigar!

Its somehow OK, not super clean (at least in my room) , wanted to stay for one more day as we were not able to return back and we informed them and they agreed but later they said it is not possible and we had to find another hotel, thanks God some good guys in the management helped us.

Rooms are well decorated & well designed4. Central AC5. All accessories are available6. Sea view from 19 th floor I have seen and it was really fantastic7. Balcony is there & you can access that8. Breakfast was very good & healthy food9. Reception is well decorated , you can take picture & keep it in memories10. Offices & malls are very near11. Hi speed lift is there12. Transport available from the hotel itself13. Restaurant is walkable distance, based on order hotel can arrange food also.Negative:Hotel does not have restaurant / dinning area in it for lunch & dinner. If you order, it will be little costly.Few views are attached to get the charm of Grand Continental.
