Me and my friends stayed there for 1 night, overall review for the facilities and service is excellent. Our room was super clean and spacious. The lobby smells good as well. The staffs were very accommodating especially Elmer who took care of everything that we needed during our stay.

Waiting time for elevator 20 min so please plan yourself accordingly. What would happen in case of an emergency as its super dangerous?! The chefs, the housekeeping, the maintenance staff - everyone is using the same guests elevators. The smell in the room and corridor is disgusting and the furniture old and dirty. Did not even try other facilities as if I imagine the waiting time for elevator - it turns me off! It is such a shame for Marriott.

Very welcoming staff especially the bell boys and receptionists. They were so helpful and attentive, i just had one issue with them, they cleaned our room without our permission or nome of them gave us a heads up, then upon checking out, they were asking about the missing towel on the floor, i told them that it was there on the first day of our stay, but when they cleaned it wasnt there anymore. But immediately resolved.Overall, We enjoyed our 2 days stay in this hotel, so sad i didnt experience the pool. Will come back soon for that.

Stayed here for a day while on a work related trip. I requested an early check in and had to stay longer than expected with no qualms from the staff. Room was very clean. This is a great place to stay at, at least at the rate I had, notwithstanding some issues. Would highly recommend.

Disclaimer: Iโ€™m a titanium level Marriott member, so your mileage may vary. With status, I did receive an double upgrade to a King Suite with a kitchen and washer/dryer. Also, breakfast was included as my welcome amenity. Travelers may care about vastly different things, so skip to what you wish.ROOM QUALITY- Our upgraded suite was very spacious. To our delight, it included 1.5 bathrooms โ€” two toilets to use if the mood strikes you! The bathroom quality and condition was decent, but not quite up to Marriott standards just yet, as the property had just changed ownership when we stayed in early July 2021. Bedroom was very very nice with clean sheets and a medium-firm bed. We had a living room/sitting area that made the suite feel like home. It connected to a dining nook where you could enjoy your meal that you prepared yourself. The kitchen included a double-range induction, microwave, full refrigerator, andโ€ฆget thisโ€ฆan LG combo washer/dryer. I understand that this is a normal thing on other continents, but a little strange for visitors from the US. I guess some people like to do laundry in the same space that theyโ€™re deep-frying! Both the bedroom and the living room had a lovely view of Sheikh Zayed Road and partial views of the skyline. All-in-all, excellent value for the price paid.PARKING- Strange layout with no signs. I donโ€™t not mind the situation nearly as much as the lack of directions from the staff. Front desk tells you to park in back like itโ€™s a VERY obvious situation, but I ended up circling the block/alley three times before a parking attendant from the neighboring hotel decided to take pity on me and tell me to hairpin turn my car beyond some caution tape into what looked like a motorcycle repair bay. The guy who worked with our property was very professionalโ€ฆbut he, too, was clueless to my situation. A general breakdown of communication, lack of posted signs, and poor training of employees are all partially to blame.ALL-DAY DINING RESTAURANT- The food quality if quite nice, as there are a number of options available. A nice combination between continental, omelette, and waffle/pancake, similar to an IHOP or Dennyโ€™s ins the US. Our server, Topan (from Calcutta) was amazing, and a general paragon of excellence to his industry. Both amiable and personable, he helped us through the selection process and offered possibilities to us vegetarians. I genuinely hope management realizes the HE is the one who needs to be doing the training for new staff; heโ€™s doing everything right.GENERAL SERVICE- Front desk staff is generally pretty dismissive, probably from burnout and overwork. One big exception is Elmer, who kept us entertained with stories of his family while we waited for our tour pickup. He is the human touch that the rest of the front desk staff sorely lacks, and is โ€”alsoโ€”a credit to the service industry in Dubai.AMENITIES- The pool was closed. There is no indication of this anywhere, google search or Marriott app. Big bummer for people who just flew 12 time zones.LOCATION- Excellent for food within walking distance. Restaurant and smaller grocery story line this portion of the main road. If you have a rental car, itโ€™s barely a 6 minute drive to the Dubai Mall, where there are LITERALLY four grocery stores if you want to cook your own food. Al Safadi Lebanese restaurant is a huge recommend for everyone is excellent Mediterranean and great service. Itโ€™s a three minute walk from the front of the hotel.

They gave me a good deal and I mostly like the staff here but there were some major problems:1) Max capacity of 4 people per elevator. I realize this is probably government regulation but when youre trying to go down from a lower floor youll have to wait 20-30 minutes before one that isnt full arrives.2) They had the lower floor closed, so just to get to the elevators you have to walk up/down stairs every time.3) Worst of all... the plastic key cards dont work after 24 hours, even if you keep it away from your cell phone, and their app cannot open the doors like they say they can. So you have to deal with the first two problems more often than you should.

I have been in many hotels in Dubai but let me tell you something everything count , the front desk staff are really amazing and friendly and welcoming especially Noha & Jyoti .I did ask them a few questions about places I wanted to go and they went out of there way just to help .I highly recommend this hotel definitely 5 stars โญ๏ธ

This is not a luxury hotel, it is no better than adequate. Rooms are poorly maintained and dated. The bath is microscopic and use of the shower floods bathroom. When I moved in the under sink cupboard doors were actually hanging off. Plug sockets sometimes work. The pool area is a joke. Pool is OK but for some strange reason there are covered tables but no bar so theyre not used. It seems its a dumping ground. The refurbished gym is the hotels best point but not great. The staff are generally OK.This is an expensive hotel for what you get!

Great Hotel which is a new addition to Marriott bonvoy group. The suite is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. I booked for one night but I didnt enjoy my stay so I extended for one more night. Thought I wasnt a big fan of the furniture as its not my style. But the hotel vibes are nice and hospitality is great. Will come back for sure soon

I wish I had read these reviews before my husband booked our stay. The renovations make it difficult to park to check in, and the parking garage is made for small vehicles. The elevators are up a flight of stairs and the buttons are on the outside. If you get off on the wrong floor you have to travel back to the mezzanine or restaurant/pool/gym floors to select your floor. The shower door was not sealed so water flooded our bathroom (pre-moistened toilet paper lol) and the towel rack was pulling out of the wall. The bed was not comfortable. The pool was tiny and the area not welcoming (no view, stuff being stored) so we didnt use it. Our stay was not worth the money and they will have to do a lot to bring it up to the standards we expect from a Marriott. The only bright spot was Lara serving us breakfast. She was a delight.

Needs to be condemned, Travelling with a 5month old baby and 4 year old, we stayed here between 30th Dec 2020 to 4th Jan 2021. We originally intended to stay for 12 days. But left early because the hotel was a death trap. We booked a premium room on Lastminute.com at the Emirates Grand Hotel, when we turned up in Dubai the hotel didnt exist, asking another local hotel with similar name (Emirates Grand Hotel Apartments) we were pointed to the Grand Stay Hotel. They took a while to find our booking, when they did they put us in a basic apartment. The washing machine flooded the kitchen, they replaced this after a few hours. We noticed a cockroach in the bedroom. Then the water in all the taps was coming out bright orange, when we complained the hotel sent a maintenance guy at 1am, who said it cant be fixed, they moved us around 2am to another room. in the morning my 4year old was in the bathroom and the the tap next to toilet exploded, almost injuring her. She was totally shaken up. We complained to the manager he offered us a spa in compensation and nothing else. We were furious, we had to plead with them to move us to another room so we could at least use water. by 4pm, they moved us to a premium room (this is when we realised we were put in a basic room). Again trying to bath the kids, the water was bright orange, thats when we packed our things and left. we complained to Lastminute.com and they have shied away from everything, even though they offered us a refund they still (4months later) havent processed this. Had to complain to our credit card company and are still chasing the dispute. Piece of advice, dont stay at this hotel, and definitely dont use Lastminute.com because if anything goes wrong, theyll try and squirm out of helping you.

This hotel from the beginning was a difficult stay! From the moment we moved in it was like a construction site. They were already in our room fixing the TVs we couldnt even rest. We stayed for a month and had MANY issues and for the price of the hotel the service is next to USELESS especially the reservations manager JELLYN and the manager of hotel Ahmet who never helped us with the TVs which were not working properly lThe whole stay, poor rooms, the windows are dirty, the shower and general decoration of apartment was so old and very dissapointing. The room cleaners and the gym were the best part of this hotel and thats about it! Please if you can dont stay here!

Recrifying my concern is to start with all of your staff. They are extremely uncooperative (rude, sarcastic & want their guest to please her, disrespectful) with the guest and wants us to follow there unreasonable excuses. Is it alright to inform the guest to wait untill the booking is reflecting in your system? even showing them the confirmation number and proof of payment. and Is it alright to tell them they have nothing to do? unless if we will pay extra AED 200 for the rate that night although it will be reversed, because what if the guest have no extra money as it is already deducted to thier card, the guest will sleep in the street then till the booking is reflected on your system? the guest trust your hotel to have a comfortable stay and sleep at night but YOU DONT TRUST THE GUEST about the payment. In addition, we are inly talking a small amount here and the way they treat the guest is unacceptable.to finished the issue as I have no more time and energy to argue my rights as a guest, I paid the AED 200. the filipina receptionist still win on the conversation but was not helpful at all.My apologies, but i am immensely disappointed on the hotel hospitality. and will never go back to this hotel again.. UNRECOMMENDABLE.recommended neighboorhood with the same view are carlton, gevora and emirates grand hotel apartment. i tried these hotel and never experienced the same treatment as this hotel does.
