They have the most epic brunch! Remembering our first morning in Dubai with our children and not knowing what to expect makes me smile! There was a kids section of the restaurant for children to play. Any type of food you can image was there. A wall filled with fresh fruits and vegetables was the juice and smoothie station. Every kind of grain, toast, protein, dessert you could image desiring to eat first thing was there - except bacon, which we didnt even miss because everything else was out of this world! We went here a few years ago and the water park was under construction then. Our kids still loved the place and we want to take them back knowing that it is even better than our first trip - which was amazing! Great prices too.

Worst 5 star hotel in Dubai.Extremely poor service and uneducated staff. They are not welcoming especially the team leader Harumi Marin.They are trying to charge you extra for everything. For example they tried to charge me extra for the pool access even though my parents are staying in the hotel. I gave my room number and name at the entrance and then, no less than 3 times, some staff bothered me and asked for my room number while I was swimming in the pool. They stopped me one last time while swimming and asked me to pay extra or leave. I explained to them that my parents are in the room but they didn’t allow me to stay. They asked me once again to pay if I wanted to stay (while my parents weren’t even using the pool.) Such a SHAME!!!They should invest in their employees and get some hospitality educated ones or at least teach them about what is expected from a 5 star hotel.On top of that the rooms are not clean and the hotel itself looks very old and not well maintained.Don’t waste your time or money there. There are much better 5 star hotels in Dubai.

It was hopless,the reception was very slow made us wait for 2 hours until we started shouting.in every 5 star room there should be everything ready like toothbrushes,combs, soaps,towels and water when we asked them for this they said they would only give it if it was asked then we went to their pool it was very dirty there was mud everywhere. Then we went to westin pool it was amazing and Marriott was using its water park which was ok and the breakfast had only 5 options overall the hotel wasnt complying for 5 stars and everytime we write a review we always dont receive a reply or just a sorry and we will look into it.its the worst hotel I hope you dont visit it wasting 1k

Its a good resort for staycation. Beware of few grumpy staff those are for no reason try to exaplain their poor service is part of hotel policy. The customer service and reception desk is at its best.

What happned to popular Hotel in Dubai?We loved to visit but service, cleanliness and maintenance goes down.EntranceMost of the staff not even greet when you enter from main door.Pool counterHard to get attention for pool attendants to get towels, They never offer to arrange towels or sun bed, lifeguard will ignore even they seen you are waiting on the counter.PoolVery dirty, plenty of algae, debris floating on the water, can see chemical dust while wading in the pool. Lifeguard having chat each other or sat on the chair only,BeachLots of mud, algae farming, they make short the swimming line I couldntbelieve, last day thrash at sun bed and beach area. You lucky to get attendants to open damaged umbrellas or arrange sun beds, you make sure get towel from pool counter as you unable to get a towel at beach. Before we can see at least 2 Lifeguard at beach now one Lifeguard at tower but not sure they are pay attention to you while you swim. Lifeguard hardly engage at beach or see patrol or no proactive.Very few staff have a sprint of Le Meridien

Not recommended at all , i booked through booking then i had to cancel because im close contact to positive Covid-19 case , after I canceled they deducted the money from my visa , i contact them to return money but they said no we cant return, they refuse to give me back my money.i was forced to cancel I cant go to hotel and use all places while im sick and harm other peoples , but this hotel they dont care about the health of customer all what they care about is money!!!!!! ,, i also asked them to replace me with another night they also refused to give me , now my mental health is so bad me and my family is sick and our holiday was canceled and above all of this they take my money!! Poor set up and quality of electric kettle and extremely small tea cups, as if designed to limit the amount you should drink✖ Insufficient toiletries in the room✖ As a Marriott Bonvoy member, staff neglected to inform me and my family that we were entitled to afternoon tea●The only well stocked part of the room was the mini barIt would appear as if, while consciously reducing its offerings to its clients, the hotel is being advertised as a 5 star hotel.Definitely not my favourite Le Meridien hotel in the UAE.All in all, one should be forgiven for mistaking it for a 3 star hotel.

The place is beautiful with beautiful interior design and outdoor views, I booked for an afternoon tea in their lounge. I think the service underwhelming compared to the price, the afternoon tea is extremely small in number of food items u will get, beside the number of boos the portion is also very small. Might not go again.

Honestly cannot belive we found this gem!!!! Isah managed to find us a table without booking, it was a Wednesday so easier, weekends are fully booked!! Restaurant right on the beach, awesome views, food was Absolutely amazing beautiful, recommend King prawns, sea bass & steamed Veg, grilled on the bbq to perfection. Love this place. Food is outstanding.

Ladies day every Sunday (75aed)Free flow, main course & dessert.It gets busy and prepare to queue after lunch.Parking gets really busy too.The early the better.Loads of Instagram-worthy spot.The server is too few to serve the crowd.Hour and half to serve the food.An hour to refill drinks.But cant deny the crowd is fun- and always packed coz its pretty cool in the Barasti.Had fun after all the waiting so i gave a 4star

In my view Le Meridien offers very good value for money. Location is great, facilities (specially pools) are great and service is very friendly and attentive.It is true that is a bit aged and worn for Dubai standards and that is not a top luxury destination. Still I think they do fair efforts in keeping the place updated and as mentioned facilities are good.In my view the selection and quality of restaurants could be better.

I love this place i have been there in 2017 for an event. It was about a weekend picnic party there i have lost the pictures was taken but they make very nice setup to relax for the parents and kids area for kids. There was a small art and craft place for kids as well.And having small stalls for a quick handmade shopping there.We had our henna and tattoo stall as well.And kids hand painting .We welcome the residence as well as the tourists. Had a wonderful memorable day that we spent.

Friendly front desk and concierge. Allowed us to check out by 2pm.Were woken up due to faulty fire alarm, that took over 15 mins to disable. Front desk offered to compensate by allowing us to stay for more time but unfortunately it was when we were checking out. If that was the intention then they should have informed the guests at least a couple of hours before check out.

Am reviewing the beach ,, visited it today for the first time paid 250 for entrance it doesn’t include any drink or any food,, the service was bad and slow , only one person was serving the area , the beach is blocked by new buildings so mainly no view and full of kidsThe food was good though but it took them to bring it more than 40 minutes

Visited bounty beets here for brunch. Great atmosphere and views. Food was delicious. Never stayed at the hotel though but seems nice and clean.

Rooms are small but comfortable. Be warned that if you get full board you are only able to order from a selection of what is available on the menu at the restaurants. Good hotel for couples with no kids at the moment though when the pools open up it would be good for kids too I imagine.

Beautiful private beach front, completely protected by extra marina development. Watch the yachts docks from your balcony. Full access to both le Meridien and the neighboring Westin. Between the two there are quite a number of restaurants.The hotel is also directly across the street from a tram stop, which connects you with media city, the marina, JLT, and the metro.

Loved the place...! Elegant and worth visiting with your loved ones.

This hotel definitely need a full refurbishment

I am a returning guest, who as always found my stay wonderful. The hotel is very welcoming, comfortable and relaxing. It is big enough to cater to everything one might need but small enough to feel like a home away from home. It is always enjoyable just lounging around the hotel or spending time at the beach or pools. Breakfast and restaurants are great and offer a variety of choices. All the staff were unbelievably friendly, accommodating and attentive to our every need. I would especially like to mention Mr. Ahmed Gharib at the front desk, who went out of his way to accommodate us and make our stay comfortable. I would also like to mention Mr. Don Shadowma who kept our room impeccably tidy and clean.Many thanks to the whole team for a wonderful stay.

It was an excellent stay! Staff, beach, pool, kids club, food all were superb. I should say Mathew and all staffs from kids club were so friendly and kind also Gokhan Ozbek from Mina”s kitchen was so kind and welcoming. Also special shout out to all life guards and buggy drivers they were all very supportive. We love our stay here!

The ignorance from the staff is just unbelievable. Got a groupon for the beach and pool pass. It was my first time getting this kind of offer. Arrived in a hotel and was being assisted by Flora Lacorte. She asked about the voucher. Once showed booking reference she said she will need a bar code to scan the pass. I asked for her assistance as I had no idea how to proceed with that. Instead of assistance I heard “You figure it out and let me handle others”. And she assisted another family. It was really stressful. I understand that there was a queue, but if someone would assist me with my problem, it would’ve been solved quicker and without a complaint. I guess if the lady doesn’t know how to handle customer, the customer service job isn’t right for her.

I am not keen to post negative review, however this might help management to improve the cleanliness of rooms, cleaners do basic in rooms and leave dust accumulated in edges and corners, balcony door is full of old smudges same for main door, carpets needs deep cleaning

They should train and have educated people or at least teach the security team how to talk with the customers ,as the customers paying money to use this facility, and I beleive they are getting paid because of that , so I beleive the customer deserve little bit more respect and politenessthanks

Rooms are comfortable. The menu choices for the full board are quite good and the restaurants are very tasty. However I had 2 cleanliness incidents which is not up to the standards of Le meridian chain.

The hotel is of a very high standard. Staff are very professional, friendly and polite. Housekeeping is very good. The restaurants and bars are very good. You can hear the construction noise but it didn’t spoil our stay. Would highly recommended.

Some friends and I went to Barasti on Thursday for their Bingo Loco night. We decided to come an hour early so that we could have dinner before the festivities started. After dinner we had already spent 900 aed in this establishment and as we walked over to our seats for the bingo, the security let us go in and join our friends that were already in after they checked that we had tickets. Our friends and us were the first people in so their wasn’t much commotion.. But suddenly the manager (Adam?) came over raising his voice at us about how we need to go to the front and we are not supposed to be here. When we tried to explain that his own security let us in, he continued to yell at us to leave and then yell at his own security. To be frank, I almost demanded a refund right then and there as it was completely unprofessional and not the way you should treat someone who has spent that much money in your restaurant and has not done anything wrong. On the way out, I went to apologize to the bouncer that got yelled at because of us and he told me this manager was the GM and was too scared to tell me his name but i think ( mohamed ali ) its bad manager . I have come to Barasti since 2011, but I will never be coming back because of this man and the way he spoke to us. Too bad, the rest of the night was fun. But in tough times like these I would rather spend my money in places that appreciate my business and know how to treat their team.

On arrival last night 22/10/2020 a bouncer wearing a blue T-shirt and the egyptain manager ( mohamed ali ) would not accept my friends ID and said it was because she had gained too much weight from her passport photo and driver licence. This was a very bad start to a bad night. We arrived before 8pm and didn’t get served till 9 for the Brunch which starts at 8 till 11 so we had lost out on an hour already just by waiting. The service for the night was absolutely deplorable. On previous times going to Barasti service has been slow but would accept ordering multipal drinks in doubles at a time to make up for the slower service. This time around they wouldn’t do that and we waited 40 minutes to an hour for service and a drink every time. Not impressed at all and seriously not impressed with the disrespect the staff had towards my friend. She was so upset and rightfully so that staff of Barasti would even have the audacity to insult a customer like that. She was visibly upset and nobody should have questioned her weight regardless if gained or not. So disrespectful. Would not recommend.

Rooms are dated and in need of remodel. 2 Construction sites on the beachside and next to hotel. The one beachside club pumps loud bass music until way too late. Tried to check out early and the front desk staff was not accommodating. We had over 5 company employees staying here and any given time for multiple days. Instead of accommodating our early checkout the manager insisted on charging us another night which contradicted the staffs comments at check in. Instead of losing a nights revenue and doing what’s right for the customer, this hotel will never get our companies repeat business. Our company uses over 300 hotel nights per year in Dubai. It won’t be at this property in the future.
