Good place, good food and excellent customer service! I ordered the iftar platter but I would recommend ordering sushi platters separately. I would like to appreciate Leigh who went to an extra mile to make sure that we were comfortable. The noodles were average but because of the extraordinary customer service, I did not mind that even one bit. Overall, I would definitely recommend you to try the sushi especially the California rolls and crunchy rolls.

Had some amazing sushi here! We had the Phoenix rolls, forbidden rolls and the nigiri maki bento. All three items were great especially the forbidden rolls. The restaurant is located in the middle of the mall and has great seating so you can see everything happening around you. Loved it!

This is our favorite japanese restaurant here in Dubai for more than 10 years! My kid loves their Beef BBQ bento and my wife’s all time favourite is their Katsudon. For me I always order Ramen or their rolls and sushi bento. Excellent service and atmosphere here in Jumeirah Town Center branch. We ordered their Iftar set for two (which was a feast!) and the BBQ beef bento for my kid (because we thought the iftar set is not enough for the 3 of us). My Sumo ID number is 18867708.

Undoubtedly a top spot for Japanese. We came here during lunch time and found the ambience to be quiet, sophisticated and being dome shaped the lighting was great as well. They have an extensive menu with a large variety with even chicken fried rice(5/5 - came in very handy as my wife enjoyed it). We also tried the rock n roll shrimp(4/5 - sweet n sour), wasabi prawns(4/5), clalamari(5/5), sake hara(5/5), sumojito(5/5) in starters, the neptune(4/5), twister(5/5), spectacular(5/5) and crunchy philly in sushi rolls and in desserts (which a lot of Japanese places dont have too much choice in) the Choco Bomb(5/5) and Mochi(5/5). Chandra took care of us from start to end so excellent service and overall there isnt much more I can ask of any restaurant. Perfect lunch for us.

Just cant get enough of it.Firstly, the service is great. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming, especially Bisnu, he has a welcoming smile and an attitude that makes you want to keeping coming back.Secondly, this particular location for Sumo Sushi & Bento is great. The one on the Jumeirah road. Imagine when youre just casually cruising along with your friends and think what do we eat today ? And BAM there it is Sumo Sushi & Bento. Everyone is happy, if someone isnt happy and doesnt like sushi, hes not a friend. He is a traitor and you dont need that kind of negativity in your life. :)Last but NEVER the least, the Sumo Sushi & Bento App. They have an app, if anyone reading this isnt aware of it. The app basically lets you collect points every time you dine with them and these points can later be redeemed to buy different dishes. Furthermore, they offer great deals through the app to get free dishes or discounts on dishes. Overall these things make the whole sushi eating experience just PEACHY, I mean great.Now I am doing this out of my own craze for sushi and Sumo has helped me feel at home every time Ive gone, so overall we love the place and cant get enough of it. Clean and open space, located in the heart of the town center in Jumeirah area. The service was not bad, the served food was fresh and tasty. The prices were high compared to the portion, but once tasted youll forget that ;) A place to be visited again!

Some of the best sushi Ive ever had, and Ive been going for upwards of 6 years. But I can no longer keep going as there as always been an issue and I just cant take it anymore: Flies. I know it really isnt in control of the restaurant, and the restaurant does try to help by providing candles, but the flies completely ruin the experience and disgusts me. If this issue could be solved it would make the experience of eating there much more pleasant.

I have been dining at this location since 5 years and never got disappointed with choices / freshness and service I get from Sumo Sushi & Bento. Have tried delivery also couple of times. Sunday is my son’s favorite day as he gets his meal free (Sunday kids eat free). This location is always on my list for a quick run during busy lunch hour as parking is sorted here and good place for relaxed dinner with family and friends. Do not forget to try thinly sliced salmon (if you are fresh fish lover) and Veggie Vietnam roll or Forbidden roll if u love veggie options (my personal favorite)

It is a nice clean and safe restaurant to eat. Their set up of dishes is perfect but unfortunately their food taste was not that great . Their sushi rice was super sticky and chewable like a chewing gum . We ordered Edamame the bowel came less than half filled.

Love this hidden gem. The staff are very friendly and thoughtful. Great place for a family meal. The food is good. The grilled salmon sushi is a hit.. however the last time I went it didnt have the spicy mayo sauce, so I suggest request it on the side so it doesnt ruin your experience. It was also served cold unlike my previous visits when there sushi was warm.
