I reserved a table for me and my 6-10 friends to celebrate my 19th birthday yesterday night. To say the least, Sho Cho was exactly the place I was looking for my birthday celebration. Atmosphere is top, I lobe the idea that you can eat good food and dance to good music at the same time. We decided on the Friday night brunch, and although we were already full from the starters and the sushi plates, we couldn’t carry on with the main course and opted for desserts. Still, it was a night that I will definitely remember. Thanks to all the friendly staff that accommodated our requests when it was possible, especially the sweet lady that answered my first call and bid us goodbye at the end. You made this experience much more personalized. Will definitely recommend to anyone who would like to celebrate an occasion or simply have a good time!

I’ve been wanting to visit for some time now & I finally did last week. It’s a beachside restaurant in the Dubai Marine Resort and requires a bit of a walk so choose your footwear accordingly. They have a DJ spinning tunes from 9pm onwards for their ladies night and serve up pretty decent Japanese fair. I’d recommend the seared seabass & black cod. Pro tip: Wear something warm as it’s outdoor seating & also ask for the heaters to be switched on.

Very nice place with amazing Japanese food. Staff was very nice. Sitting is outdoor on the seaside terrace with Burj Khalifa view. We really recommend to try Lobster and seaweed salad 🥗 🦞

Lovely atmosphere and excellent food!I went here a couple of years ago, but I remember the food being tasty and they have a wide variety to choose from. Their sushi and wines were really good and they played good music. Had an amazing time!

I went in a Thursday evening and it was busy. We had a table booking for 8 -10pm. A few of the guests turned up late and we were unable to extend our booking for longer as they were fully booked, so I do recommend making a reservation for thr weekends. Personally I feel the food is a tad overpriced for what you get. I left feeling hungry! Ambience is nice, staff very polite and the seating area outside is lovely now that the weather has cooled down.

Very nice place on Dubái marine beach resort. You can enjoy the Japanese menu and some drinks while watching the ocean. Athmosphere is always great, couples and groups of friends, with the mix of musics (some Arabic, pop, house). We always have a lot of fun, plus all service is attentive and polite.

Great environment to wind up! The restaurant is outdoor, you might need a warm sweater to keep warm during winter.

Good place to hang out with friends. They offer unlimited proseco and mojitos on ladies night and discounted price on sushi platters. Super yummy!

I Just LOVE their 80s night on Thursday and Sunday evening. GREAT outdoor location next to sea. I will be back! (even though somebody stole my cashmere poncho the last time I was there - I should have been more careful and shouldnt have left it at the bar not watching...)

This is THE place to visit when the weather chills. Beautiful location right by the sea, delicious food (the black cod is a must) and a delightfully unorthodox cocktail menu. The service was exceptional and the prices reasonable for a five-star property.

It has a chilled vibe. 80s nights on Sundays. Great outdoor seating. Its a place to be scene. Free valet parking too but youll have to wait for a while.

You dont go there for the food, which is really so-so. However, it is a great place to go and have some drinks because there is a cool outdoor bar with a beautiful view of the water. The clientele is glam, the music is good and it is a good way to spend an evening with friends, I will definitely go back! After years I finally find a proper Sushi place in Dubai. Funny is that I wouldnt even consider the place a restaurant and still they serve the best Sushi Ive had in long. Service was great, but that might be because the restaurant manager herself was taking care of us.

Sho Cho did not let us down with the evening brunch they offer on a Friday. Me and my partner sat And had a couple of glasses of the sparkly stuff before our friends arrived. The wait was not at all annoying the views are spectacular over looking the night lights of Dubai and the worlds tallest building, breathtaking some would say. We finally went inside to eat as the weather was still a little sticky and I really didn’t want my hair to frizz up like Michael Jackson in the old days. We were served fish after dish, sushi, sashimi, dynamite shrimp,calamari and salmon teriyaki to name a few, yummy! The drinks were bottomless and this obviously put us into party mood where dancing was involved and interesting music played. We ended the night with a nice night cap at the outside terrace. What a night, great company, food and excellent service.

Service is attentive, location is scenic and the portions were generous bordering on far too much. I asked for vegeterian, no fish, no shellfish options and was amazed how diverse and full every dish was and to top it all off, genuinely tasty.

A Dubai staple since 2000 Sho Cho, is a vibrant bar and nightclub location. With large white sofas and a vibrant lighting scheme, guests can choose to dine indoors or relax by the ocean with one of their signature cocktails in hand. With an array of Japanese delicacies on offer and resident house DJs playing until late into the evening, this is an innovative and energetic bar/restaurant.

Nice ambience of the outside terrace. Nothing special about the sushi, little fish used for it, quality is ok, non Japanese sushi masters. At night dance-floor opens for 80’ and 90’ hits lovers. Usually busy in the dinner time and after.

Drinks are full of ice and mixers instead of Alcohol, and on Tuesday there is no maximum capacity .. they let the people in untill u cannot even move your arm. But music and atmosphere are good, thank you.

Very rude and unprofessional bar manager called Stefan. I would never expect a bar manager to turn their back when asking for an issue to be resolved. Having the audacity to turn his back and walk away when politely asking for the issue to be resolved is very disrespectful and ruined our evening. We didn’t stay until the end of the brunch, the food was nice but was overshadowed by the attitude of Stefan.

The worst customer service I have ever seen in Dubai. It was a Wednesday ladies night. the drinks for ladies were supposed to be complementary as confirmed during the reservation. My friends and I; when we wanted to order foods and drinks, the waiter informed that the free drinks are only alcoholic drinks. we asked them not to put alcohol but to serve us the same drink like a virgin Mojito instead of Mojito, nothing extraordinary so far!!! we had to bargain with 3 persons until the manager popped up. we shared with him our point of view and we cleary told him that is discriminating. we are in the UAE we are ladies, it is a ladies night and we do not drink alcohol. it was really an unpleasant moment to bargain for such silly reason. they finally offered only 1 glass of drink instead unlimited cocktails for other ladies who drink. I found it really not elegant from the management and extremely cheap behaviour for this kind of fine dinning place, to have this sort of behaviour towards customers.

This is a place offering quality food and drinks at a reasonable price... also known for throwing a great dance party“Ive never been here for anything but the Friday night brunch, but its solid quality for a reasonable (by Dubai standards) price. If you turn up at the beginning of the evening, expect to be waited on as if youre in a 5 star restaurant with a dozen courses of a lovely Japanese dinner, including sushi, sashimi, teriyaki salmon, and finishing with green tea ice cream or passion fruit sherbet. All this happens with unlimited house alcoholic beverages for one price, or for about 90AED less, you can wash it down with back to back club sodas & virgin mojitos.Its a winning combination of chic and budget friendly night-out dynamics. The location itself is splendid.Now for the gritty heres why I cant get the 5th star going details. Parking options here are sad. There is valet parking for 25AED, but come on guys. Figure out a way to get parking validated. I already had to drive 2.3 extra kms to get across the street to your valet parking after Google led me into the entrance of Le Mer next door and I had no way to pull into the correct driveway.Also, 2nd gripe. If you arrive an hour into the brunch or have a friend join half way thru as I did last time, it seems to confuse the wait staff to the point where they never really figure out how to serve all the correct dishes, ... as they do per the menu when you show up at the beginning of the brunch. It shouldnt be that difficult to track a table and know what each guest has/hasnt already been able to dine on.In summary, its worth doing, and probably one of the best brunch deals in the town of global high-rollers. But theres a little room to reach for the 5th star, or even to keep the 4th one from slipping off the chart.

Sho Cho club at nigth is so crowded and uncomfortable, specially on Sundays.The security guards are rude and aggressive.The beverage is expensive and not great.The music is good but I wont like to go there again.Its definitely not my place.

My daughter and I had the most amazing experience at Sho Cho last night. Having circled the area for one hour , misled by Google maps, we finally found it; well worth the hunt. Amit , our main server guided us in a perfect choice of palate tickling sushi. Their exotic variant of spicy battered shrimp and the mochi ice cream was to die for. All in all, our smiles couldnt be wider.

Food and drinks quality were not high but the music from the 80s-90s and a happy heterogeneous crowd will make your Thursday night out worthy.

Dinner and a night out? this is the place to go. Quality Japanese food and turns into a lounge closer to midnight. The outdoor terrace is on the water. This is more of a venue for the cooler months.
