Stopped by on a Thursday evening for after dinner drinks and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, which is cozy. Chill out tunes add to the vibe and the low tempo buzz. Cocktails are nicely crafted and are presented in attractive glassware. There is a lovely terrace offering a view towards Bluewater Bay and the Eye of Dubai under construction. Will return in the near future to try the food.

I went in a friends plan for dinner the dishes were very tasty... the reservation placed us at terrace with a nice view to the Dubai Eye and bluewaters there was also a option to eat indoor and a bar at the entrance part of the same Japanese concepts. They are at the double tree by hilton easy access, with taxi they offer valet parking, the washrooms were outside bit far but very clean and modern. The waiters very friendly and fast because that day was very crowded. They offer alcohol also at the menu.I recommend this places and will probably go back.

Great Japanese fusion food. Pleasant and entertaining atmosphere to hang out with friends and have a good drink. Good selection of wines.I understand at times might be busy however it shouldn’t affect the staff. Two of our servers didn’t act like they are happy to be there, rather like they had no choice but to serve us.Pricey like in such venues in Dubai.

Sushi, being an obsession for so many folks out there and especially fancy girls, has also proven that Japanese cuisine is so much more than just rolls. In fact the more one discovers the traditional side of infamous Japanese dining the more delicious it gets. Ramusake restaurant at the Double Tree by Hilton in JBR is a perfect example. I was very excited to barge my way into Ramusake on their popular Ladies Nights and that experience led to my personal obsession with the restaurant.First of all, Ramusake is in style. It’s the place to be and a place to watch the crowd. Always being over booked on Wednesday nights they are also being stormed by the most beautiful girls from the Dubai and further. No matter how Insta famous you get (true story) there is no way you can reserve a table unless you call far in advance. My attempts to get a table for four on short notice failed miserably. On a brighter note, there are always a few spots left for the Friday brunch which, in my opinion, is the best way to discover the mystery of Ramusake’s success. My usual Friday brunch strategy is to arrive early. The next move is to convince your server you are the most mega super famous person on Instagram to score an extra cocktail and some fantastic bar magic footage. They are easy to convince and it always works for me :) Once your arrival drink is sorted, look through the pre-set menu and agree to everything they offer. The food at Ramusake is so damn good. The moment the salted edamame beans appear at your table, start ordering and tasting sake. Nothing compliments Japanese cuisine better than this magical beverage, neither jasmine green tea nor Asahi. Sake, based on processed fermented rice, delivers a little kick of happiness with the every sip as well as a balanced taste that works in a harmony with any dish. No matter what you are sampling - a dessert, sashimi or chicken skewers, sake will deliver an accompanying flavour turning a meal into a feast. While brunching at Ramusake it’s easy to sneak a peek at the chefs putting together rolls, main dishes and cooking their way through the experience. The concept of an open kitchen is indeed my favourite way of dining. I love to watch men cook. There is something truly magical when ingredients imported from all over the world appear in the form of something you never knew existed. That’s Ramusake

Instagram: @eatgoseeRamusake is an Asian-Japanese restaurant with licensed bar serving similarly themed cocktails and delicious small plates.HIGHLIGHTS:Outside eating area is a must sit during these cooler Dubai months in winter. You will want to book and if you’re in large groups you can choose from longer banquet style tables or group sofa eating. The decor and Japanese themed garden completes a well curated theme.Service is super punctual and attentive - perhaps this is due to the two hour table turn around policy which I was told about when making a booking? This time we ate vegetarian as I was with a vegetarian friend at the time. The stronger vegetarian options is the aubergine in a slightly sweet marinade. The aubergine absorbs and holds onto the marinade releasing it with every bite as you press into the silky aubergine. The watermelon ceviche a divisive option which will alienate some. It’s a tomato salad with avocado and sweet thick discs of watermelon. The asparagus and crispy hens eggs is delicious with mustard driving a punchy support to the fatty rich egg yolk and crunchy fried crumb. The asparagus provide spears for dipping into the yolk. A delicious dish but would benefit from more salt. The vegetarian sushi platter fails to delight in the same way I would expect.I would come back to Ramusake but I will try their fish and meat options more. I tried the short rib and fois gras gyoza which was mediocre. I expected more richness and a sauce released from the centre but, instead, there was a slightly dry texture and no discernible fois gras flavour - shame.

Delightful experience in Ramusake last night. Arrived at 7:15pm to an empty bar and restaurant and made our way out to a large terrace area. By the time we got to our table at 8pm for dinner the place was buzzing. Service was attentive without being an intrusion. Food was excellent. 8 sharing plates, 1 bottle of wine and 1 bottle of sake set us back around 2000dhs. That is above average for a night out, but giving Ramusake a visit once in a while is well worth it.

Rugged and full of character, Ramusake offers Japanese fare with a contemporary feel. With its trendy vibe and quirky style, you can dine at this upscale eatery and eat to be seen. Located in the heart of Dubai’s JBR, this joint is on trend with its dim lights and graffiti covered walls. Unpretentious, yet with some serious foodie offerings, you will have your culinary mind blown at Ramusake.

Very very bad experience I had there. I and my friends made a reservation on a ladies night for dinner, getting there the gay guy at the door said we couldnt go in for no reason. And said we had to pay with a credit card online while making the reservation before entering, thats never been heard of. This is not my first time making reservations to bars or restaurants, maybe because we are blacks, he was being so racist, because I see no reason why I and my friends would not be let in, even when we were properly dressed.. Saw this place online and saw nice reviews thats why we wanted to give it a try, This is so bad and annoying, Pure RACISM!!!! Do not let this happen again in order to avoid bad reviews..

I’ve been to Ramusake over and over again. The place never disappoints. I’ve been there for proper dinners, dates, and drinks with friends. Anything you grab from the menu will be solid. Even the Brussels sprouts are amazing! Try the ceviche and do not forget to get the sangria. It’s mixed with sake which adds an incredible dimension to the classic Spanish drink! We went to Ramusake recently and was at the bar, area is nice and vibe is good...everything seems were okey, me and my GF decided to have some bite, when bartender or head bartender apparoach us, his name Ankush, he said that its better to eat at the table since bar is busy, but it was not! There was no crowd, literraly few peoples at the bar and beside me was a couple of guys who ate their food and it was ok...which became to me suspitiousWe decide still to go with 2 small dishes, after a bartender took the order we were forced by him to move to the table! And again fine, we moved, but what happen next is made all of us piss off, he gave us a table in the corner near to the door and every time when someone open that door all the wind is coming to your face! Unacceptable! Cmon guys if you see that weather is not good, simply dont allocate people on that tableAfter again approaching a bartender we were transfered to the bar on the terrace and were told that we are having 30 min to finish our food! What? Since when people who having bites at the bar have a have a timeframe for food consuming?I love stick to the bar counter, but this is really something new to usEmbarrasing Ramusake, we didnt expect anything, but you went beyong that!If this is normal, I will never come back or recoomend this place!

One of the worse services EVER in Dubai. From the rude waiter, to the super rude bouncer. We went with a group of 5 girls to the ladies night on Wednesday and the waiter was very condescending. One of our friends is vegan and we asked for the Vegan rolls and the answer was “okay we can make them vegan” because they aren’t vegan to begin with. At the end of the bill we asked for dessert and a fruit platter for our friend and their reply was that “they couldn’t accommodate to have any fruit platter unless we ordered a different and more expensive dessert”.Really rude staff and also security at the exit almost “pushing us out” to let other clients in.The food was good but the horrible service really isn’t worth it!They should learn how to treat their customers better!!!!
