We did a course here learning how to cook Japanese cuisine from chef Jimmy. He is a Korean but has 25 years experience here in the hotel. His teaching is interesting and I learnt a lot not only about cooking but also the stories behind each dish. He even showed how to do the grill, maki rolls and where to get best ingredients for Asian food.Overall it was a great afternoon staying at Hashi, I think I will come back again some time. The coconut cake as dessert is tasty btw.(Photos are by the other participants)

This place is great. The food is truly excellent, but the atmosphere is just perfect too. You can feel the difference in the restaurant with the new head chef, he makes people welcome, creates an atmosphere of calm tranquility whilst delivering exquisite food.The restaurant really is a cut above many of the local alternatives in Downtown - which takes some doing !

Excellent Japanese restaurant in a great location. The Chef Jin is among the best. The Quality of food, service and cleanliness is high range and therefore the prices also.My summary is clear, the Hashi restaurant is for me the best in town. Dr. Christian

From outside, beautiful view on the Burj Kalifa and water fountains. The personal was kind. The sushi were not so good: grab shell not well cooked and the strip of seawed to thick. The gyoza were not tasty. The wagyu meat was fine as well the truffle sauce, the salad with was not necessary. Excellent mochi with aisu (ice cream). Good choice of wine. A bit expensive for a not excellent dinner

We have frequented Hashi for at least six years now. We believe Hashi is the best place to enjoy Japanese food in Dubai. We took some guests for dinner and again Chef Jimmy and his team did not disappoint. Foods and services were excellent and our guests were deeply impressed. The restaurant is not cheap but definitely gives very high quality, not to mention that the view of Bujr Khalifa and the fountain are amazing.

Chef Jimmy is the best. He can make all sorts of food for you. The sound system needs improvement as it feels like there is no DJ and the speakers distort sound.

I don’t think their price match the food quality only the location can justify its high price. I have been to cheaper restaurants with much better taste. View is very nice. Taste is just ok, very bad compare to other Fine dinning Japanese restaurants around the world I had before. They don’t have Otoro, only normal tuna that doesn’t taste fresh. Chicken thighs is over cooked. Their shrimp tempura is not authentic at all, they put mayonnaise on it, to me it’s more like fried food you can get at McDonald. The soup is spilled all over the plate and spoon when they served it, a bit cold too. Not a good experience. Only thing that taste ok is uni nigiri, but if they can wrap it with dry nori warp it will be better.

Very good experience, all the staff have looked for give us a wonderful experience, they take time for small choice for us, a like take a picture with the fountain music on.We really enjoyed the food and the decision of the chef to don’t cover all the food with sauce I like the local like but give on the side.We coming back for sure looking for a more contact with the Chef booking the seat in front the teppanyaki table.If, I repeat IF we need to found something we wish the waiter it was more prepared about the food and exactly what He serve.

I didnt get the chance to experience the food because of the uncomfortable ambiance in the restaurant.There were kids playing around and it was so noisy so i left the restaurant. In addition the seating was very limited indoor.

Their fish is fresh but the cooking is just so so. Their head chef is a fun person. Nice staff. Good fountain view.

Nice but overpriced japanese restaurant. Quality is good but not the best. Kind and attentive staff. Good wine and sake selection. The external terrace has a perfect view on the fountains, if you go outside for dinner you will have a first row seat for the show. The access is through the hotel.

The food wasn’t real good as before, 👎🏻 hope they get back to there quality & tasty.

All was good: food was nice, top notch service, location is great with a palm view on fountains.However one thing spoiled the experience - there are sanitisers in the toilet which are in the bottles as soap bottles and they literally shoot with liquid.I pressed the dispenser expecting it was a soap and it just shot with alcohol liquid so hard it sprinkled from my palm and got into my eye and my son’s face who was standing nearby.It was unexpected and unpleasant experience.Armani - you need to change those sanitisers...

Failure with booking, could stay without a table on the terrace at last minute even though booked in advance.If you are planning to enjoy the fountain show while having a dinner great chance it will not happen even if you have been promised so.

Amazing place with a fantastic view over the Fountain and the Burj Khalifa. You need to book on the terrace as it is out of this world. Perfect for a night out with your partner. Our waiter Sultan was amazing. Always available for us even if the restaurant was full and to my opinion not enough waiters. Sultan made sure that all our requests were fulfilled and contributed to the success of that evening. Good job to him. The chef Jimmy has this incredible personality that he could sell you anything but what we appreciate the most is his joy of life and his fantastic recommendation for all the dishes. Big well done to Jimmy and Sultan for making our evening special.

Dined here several years back and it was great. Visited again yesterday as a party of 4 and had a horrible experience. The food, particularly the sushi was among the worst I ever had. We told the waitress, she didnt seem surprised nor concerned. I rarely review, I felt compelled to given how bad our experience was.

I wouldnt recommend it for food to be honest. I went there today and tried their food and drinks. Drinks were ok. Embi, was upset with us because we made a second order. So what!? Throughout the night I felt so uncomfortable. The music wasnt Japanese! It was disco tech type. Lols. Everyone walks everywhere, the cleaners etc. Food was too oily and too spicy. I couldnt feel anything about Japan. I wanted to have an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, it wasnt. Very sad. Its the worst Armani restaurant ever. I tried the Italian restaurant there and it was a delight.

It was a good experience with a blooming night..warm welcome. chefs are sooo friendly, staff is soo nice.... we had enjoyed our dinner,the service was soooo fantastic and love it... everything on time and so perfect,,,food was sooo amazing,one thing to highlight about sake that we choose. We chose one premium sake and some cocktails...all other drinks came on time except the sake...we want it hot because the waitress explained to us about the hot sake,how good it on this weather but unfortunately it took very long time..we hope to come back soon and I hope this kind of situation will be fine in near future.and thank you for everything see you soon...

Very unremarkable experience, except for the fountain views. Service is borderline average and the food is less than average in portion size and above average in quality.

The place is excellent not everywhere you can have sushi in a restaurant next to the tallest building in the world and with the scenery of the dancing fountain next to the mall.The food is delicious every plate is elaborated in an excellent way.

This place used to be my favourite place, but not anymore. I was there with my family and visitors from outside of UAE last week. We ordered a lot of dishes including sashimi, sushies, some grilled dishes, soup. The grilled fish was too sweet. The soup smelled fishy. The Octopus dish tasted like chewy chicken with too much sweet sauce...Raw scallop was too mushy..etc. Very disappointing experience..it really became an average place to eat.

One of the best hotels in the town

Definitely the best sashimi and nigiri in Dubai. I am a big lover of Japanese cuisine and this restaurant always meets my expectations. The Chief is very experienced and very attentive!I love his octopus sashimi. The selection of 36 pieces of sashimi (I’m not sure about the number but it’s the biggest portion there) is their must try dish. Chick and stylish atmosphere.

I wanted to see a fountain show on the last night in Dubai this evening and got dinner at an evening where I was introduced by someone I know. It was so delicious.I think I ate the most delicious sashimi out of the Japanese restaurants Ive been to this time.I would like to come back if I come to Dubai again next time.

Great service and super quality fish

Terrible service, made a reservation a month in advance and on the day of arrival found out that the table will be inside, although we booked on the terrace.So, if you are promised fountains, even if you have a months reservation, this is not a guarantee!And yet it is in one of the top places in Dubai!I am very disappointed with this fact, I advise you to be careful, but this will not guarantee that something will not happen to your reservation!

The scenery is the best.I had stayed in the Maldives for a few days, so I thought that I would soon want to eat sushi.Well, I suppose the store clerk looks like a Japanese hired Asian guy, but we dont pass it.The sushi was also crazy, and came out like a super California roll.Well, it ’s a place fee.The fountain show was amazing.By the way, are you Chinese at the entrance to the worlds best building? I was asked in English, but I am Japanese with all my strength! ! If you answer in English, it will turn into a smile, I was told.Oh, I see.However, I think that it is still indistinguishable when I think it is indistinguishable.
