Authentic Korean Restaurant! Sumptuous options of dishes from stews, noodles, meat, side dishes and desert. We (4 of us) had the modeum set which was a mix of 5 variety of meat, side dishes and soup. Japchae was amazingly tasty. Staffs were really helpful and accommodating. Highlt recommended!

Visited for dinner with some friends who happen to be Korean. They ordered a large selection of mostly Korean cuisine. All the food was extremely tasty, I thoroughly enjoyed the education into Korean food and culture. Definitely worth a visit if you want to try good food and great service. But you should be ready to give something new a try to really appreciate this place.

It’s closed.It was one of my favourite Korean restaurants in Dubai. They also had Chinese and Thai food.I’m not sure if other branch in media city is also closed or not.

A great Korean BBQ experience. The service was quick, the environment was lively and the staff was very friendly. Ordered the meat and absolutely enjoyed it. The meat was perfectly marinated and the veggies were fresh highly recommend this place. Will be back for Lauren

Not recommended to this branch

One of the best korean restaurants I have been to. We ordered kimbap , fiery chicken and beef bulgogi. The beef was perfectly cooked and the chicken was spicy and flavourful. Special mention to all the side dishes, Variety of kimchi and the shrimp. Dont forget to try the passion fruit mango iced tea, its delish! The staff were very pleasant and helpful with the order. We would surely return.

Shogun is a fusion restaurant which serves Korean, Japanese and Thai Cuisines. We tried Korean which as expected, did not disappoint.

We drove here today with high expectations but unfortunately it’s temporarily closed. The google map is not correct. Don’t know when it will be opened again.

Been going here for ages now and the service is ALWAYS good and the food is good without fail. i would recommend this place blindly. Thai food or Korean food or Japanese food. Not the cheapest place to go to but considering the quality I dont think its expensive.

I wanted to go to this restaurant because someone recommended it, and I tried the Korean food but I was disappointed 😔, the Thai was much better, never going there ever again. The table was smelly and sticky I had to wipe it with the sanitiser.

Home style Korean restaurant (but they serve Thai and Japanese too). Among few Korean restaurants in Dubai, this is one of top ranked ones on my list. The entrance is a bit hard to find (it is in Al Ghurair building but not the mall)

The best food south East Asian by far , they serve Japanese, Korean and Chinese food most authentic, the best barbecue chicken with vegetables, have it every time we go there , you could also try the barbecue prawns they are great too, you could have the barbecue platter on the table and enjoy and experience of doing it yourself on the table or ask for it to be done... the kimchi is really nice too . The ambiance is nice and clean but not glitzy. The sushi is awesome too

We had our friend celebrated his birthday here. The place is okay and quite relaxing just like the typical korean houses. The food is just usual. Nothing special about it or maybe weve missed their best dish. I feel bad for the servers because theres only like 2 of them running around to take orders and bus tables. I cant say good service but Ill commend them for their effort.

Im a regular guest of kimchee by shogun because I like the food and most especially their service. It just happened, were in the same area and craved some Korean food and had the worst dining experience ever. While asking this rude server, because we got confused by the menu there. She just raised her voice and left us very annoyed. We even heard her ranting from outside. She even glared at us when we go. Very unprofessional! Its not my first time coming here and left hungry and disappointed. Totally ruined our night. 😔

Great food great experience if you like cooking yourself. My favourite dishes are the raw sirloin that you cook yourself on the table and the octopus rice. Their duck is also great. Flora, the restaurant manager is a sweetheart. Amazing Korean experience.

Nice restaurant that serves Japanese and Korean dishes with partitions for privacy of dining family or small groups. You can also grill foods on top of your table. It is a restaurant worth dining again.

This is one of my worst dining experience here in dubai, one of the staff The Old Lady does nt know whats the meaning of sequence of service.. we have nt finish our food because of your un ethical attitude! If you dont know how to approach the guest properly, you should not be working there, you will just ruined the reputation of SHOGUN..I Will surely not recomend this place.

We loved the Korean food and boy the concept wax great. The problem is they put sweetener on the meat dishes and that is something I dont like. Sugar in meat is a no for me.

Such a yum it is! ) Located in Al Ghurair Tower 2, Deira.FYI They provide with complimentary appetizers and dessert (choice of fruits or ice cream) which is very appreaciated.So, if you want to experience Korean BBQ on the grill built-in the tables, then I would recommend you to visit this branch as the the grills are missing in the other one in Madis City.P.S. Do not plan to visit any other place after your BBQ experience here as you are gonna smell with food. Just move home and take shower 😄Thank you, Shogun. We will visit you again soon 💛

Ive been looking for a Korean BBQ joint for quite some time, and after going to a few not so great places I think Ive found the ONE. Shogun gives you a truly authentic Korean BBQ feel (each table has a grill in the center for cooking), the ambiance is fantastic, the service is top notch and the food is out of this world. We ordered from the Korean menu (the BBQ beef, chicken, shrimp and kimchi fried rice). Overall great experience and will definitely be heading back.

Shogun is a bit a hidden gem that is tucked away in the 2nd floor of a building in the Al Rigga area. Unless you know to look for it, you may not find this incredible restaurant.The restaurant itself serves 3 cuisines - Japanese, Thai and Korean, so this is definitely the place to come to if you are a fan of Asian cuisine.While Shogun doesnt have national chefs from each nation making the cuisines, I have to say that the quality of food that came out of the kitchen for the most part were above average and tasted authentic.I tried a number of Korean dishes off the menu and Shogun serves the most common Korean cuisines that you have heard off, plus traditional dishes that  you may not have heard of before. Rest assured that everything taste great and for the most part, healthy. Korean dishes typically do not have much oil in their preparation and for the ones that do require a bit of oil, it is made in moderation.Korean food is known to be some what spicy, especially with their love of Kimchi, you will find a number of Kimchi items on the menu and can expect the level of spice to be in the same range, you can always ask for spiciness to be toned down if you cannot handle it. The spices mostly give you a hint of hotness before it fades away.I do wish that they serve some Korean drinks, but perhaps the local crowd isnt a fan of them so I dont blame them for not having any.The prices are fair and consistent with other Korean restaurants in Dubai. The quality is great and is what you would expect if you have ever had Korean food, if you havent, you have a menu full of treats for your taste buds waiting for you. The food is so amazing that I would have no hesitation in bringing a Korean friend here.
