My first time trying raw sushi was at 99 sushi and I was not disappointed! The sushi is amazing 🥰😻

A real birthday treat in a special sushi and meat restaurant! A nice spot overlooking the Burj while devouring on a nice lobster sushi piece. From the crab to the sushi mix, to the tenderloin and lamb chops! An incredible place worth visiting at night to enjoy the views. Hope to be back soon!

For sure, this is one of the most luxurious sushi bars you can find in Dubai. And the taste of sushi here is, well, not real Japanese taste but westernized one but really recommendable. Loved the tuna tataki roll and salmon aburi nigiri. Great for those crave for sushi in downtown area!

It is truly worthy both of gushing reviews and the price that is charged for the eye-catching, mouth-watering menu.We enjoyed the tasting menu, which has options to pair with wine, or to simply enjoy the food. I really enjoyed our evening at 99 Sushi in downtown Dubai. It was only two of us but we ordered a good amount of dishes and had some nice wine.The location is great as it’s next to the Burj Khalifeh. You can get some beautiful views of the landmark. The seating and decor of the place was quite nice too. The only thing I didn’t like was how bright the place was. There was something wrong with the lighting and the team said they were addressing it in the next few days. They moved us to another table which was a bit better.The staff itself was very nice and accommodating. They were warm and helpful which is very welcomed. Nice hospitality.The food was a bit above average. I’d probably go to other dining establishments to get Japanese in Dubai. The food highlights were the special edamame on the menu, the tuna salad was awesome as well. The dressing was very good. The rolls and nigiri were ok.Overall the experience was great but the quality of the fish could be better for the price. We ended up paying 2,500 AED for two people including a bottle of wine and plenty of food.

An innovative sushi place serving some unique dishes. Some items were very good others were ok. #desserts were average. Overall experience was Very Good. Outstanding dishes: King Crab au Gratin. #japanese #taco was also unique. Service was very good and our waiter Ayoub was very friendly and attentive.

Been there with my lovely one for our Anniversary. Great atmosphere, beautiful interiors, cool music that entertains you.We had a set menu paired with a couple of white wine glasses. Yummy mix of Japanese dishes, extremely well presented. Special thanks to Alexandra, whom assisted us the entire dinner with professional and discreet manner. Five stars experience!

Love this restaurant!! The weather was beautiful today so we sat outside and had a really nice lunch. The staff was friendly and the dragonfly sushi was absolutely delicious!!

Food is good, but pricey. Service could be more/ better synchronised. Alcohol is served there.

Very nice cozy high quality restaurant however the prices are very expensive. For two people with one glass of drink we paid 650 per person. Sushis are amazing the quality of ingredients and how they differentiated their sushis are great. Fish they used were fresh and yummy. I would go this place again but would be cautious with i am ordering.

Amazing… One of the most underrated place in Dubaï. The terrace facing the Burj Khalifa is one of our favorite spot in the city for a casual yet hype dinner in a lounge atmosphere. Food is absolutely amazing (i recommend the spicy tuna tartar, the tiger prawn tempura, and the golden bricks). Trust my advice… Five stars for service as well !!!

Great new restaurant in Downtown. We went for tasting menu and worth it. Different dishes very tasty. Price is alright for the type of restaurant.

Place is super nice but few inconveniences, starting from the fact that you have to walk a lot to reach there, they should have valet parking in the closest access to them, not in the Address hotel. Also, when attending a networking event, we were offered 3 tapas and 2 drinks. First tapa, apparently, were edamame, which normally are just a snack, I wouldnt call it a tapa. Other than that, the service was very good, views are fantastic.

I have been to many sushi restaurants in my life. But this restaurant has been an experience i never will forget for my whole life. The sushi was simply amazing. The quality was outstanding. But now the best part. Never have i been threathed so good as in this restaurant. The service was more than perfect. I would suggest everyone to try this restaurant. At last i want to specially thank Alexandra. She was very kind and her service was the best ever experienced in my whole life. I will definitely come back.

It is in a wonderful place next to the Burj Khalifa, the food is very good of a high quality, the problem is that it has no entertainment, I have been twice and it is boring, it needs a dj to play every day or one singer , the restaurants of this level have music live every day.

Located under Zeta the terrasse has alimited view on the fountains...anyhow you will come here for the perfectly executed food: The guandzou beef, the crispy shrimps with house mayo... Great service as well.

This restaurant is one of the best Japanese places we have been! Incredible food and service! Roka used to be our favorite but this place is wayyyyyy above! Thank you Ayoub one more time for impeccable service and knowledge.

Loved the warm nilgiri and tuna tartare.. but the black cod for main wasnt great.. I had better black cods in other places in Dubai..

We walked past by this restaurant a couple of times and we decided to try this one out with my kids. When we arrived the manager didn’t make us feel welcome and didn’t greet us and he just walked by without eye contact. The place was really quite so after 5-10 minutes another family came in with children a table next to us also and unfortunately the manager stopped by their table and had a conversation for over 5-10 minutes. It felt like we didn’t were welcome... when the same family left, the manager said bye and thanked them. A couple min. After we left and felt the same energy without any grate of the manager. further the food and service was ok/good. Not a busy day but not coming back

Very good sushi!

I organized a brunch for 5 of us on January 8. I have been regularly going there for dinner and drinks. Food has been amazing for dinner as well as great ambience and drinks. The brunch though was a very unexpected, high priced disaster. You know it was a more than terrible experience when a regular customer is suddenly angry about the value of the meal. I walked in and the hostess, who has interacted with me on multiple occasions, did not welcome me warmly, nor greet me by my name and was unsure what I walked in for and appeared to not know me at all. We sat down for drinks -- took at least 10-15 mins for someone to come and ask us out order even though the restaurant was very empty. Upon sitting down for food, I requested more of the first complementary sushi roll they bring out and the waiter said there is more food coming, and walked away. No one came around to ask about water and we had to ask. The food was absolutely nothing memorable unlike the rest of the times I have been there. It was variations of sushi and thats it and nothing specifically tasty. The dessert was the worst. Expecting a grand dessert selection, we were given one measly mochi each. For 600AED, this was insulting. No one came to ask us for coffee or tea. No warmth in making our brunch a warm or comfortable experience. Ive been to ROKA for the brunch countless times and would advise the management team to go and experience their brunch which is at half the price. I certainly wont go back for brunch nor reccomend it and I have a distaste to go back for dinner as well. Very very unfortunate and so far from what I had expected.

Tried this fairly new restaurant recently and wasn’t disappointed at all. The food was amazing and so was the service.In a weeks it would be perfect to sit in their outdoor terrace and enjoy the Burj Khalifa view. My favourite food here was the Lobster Sushi and the Australian Wagyu.Would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes Japanese food.

Had heard about this restaurant which is from Spain and I was quite intrigued while going through their menu. Had taken my husband here for a lunch and with the Burj Khalifa and fountain view he couldn’t complain.The food was no doubt fantastic especially the Sushi, tempura’s and the wagyu meat. Decor was fantastic and it is a relatively big place. Service was excellent and when it comes down to rating them on the food they have aced the flavours and the texture.My favourite here was the Spicy Tuna Tartare, Shrimp Tempura, Miso Cod and the Yuzu Kunafe Cheesecake. Of 100 quality, it is not cheap, for the same reason, but if you combine it with their drinks, the design of the place, and their view of the burj kalifa, you are happy !!! (And the terrace bar, great)
