Had a most excellent Teppanyaki meal with the family at Sakura on 19July. Theyd recently reopened after the covid.Its always a big meal but very doable because every bit of it is cooked to perfection making it thoroughly enjoyable. Ill take a Teppanyaki meal over a brunch anyday, and its available everyday day - not just the weekends.I am giving them 5Stars because of the friendly, engaging and accommodating service we received from Mona, Archie and the rest of the crew.The photo is of Archie trying to avoid setting his eyebrows on fire! He did it a 2nd time for the photo. There are no photos of the food because everything was so good we forgot to take photos.Great evening... highly recommend trying it!

Japanese food lovers should definitely visit Sakura . Place is well designed with very kind and polite team . We had an wonderful dinner with wide range of their food and soup . Must visit .

Located in the Crowne Plaza Dubai on SZR on the 4th Floor. Monna the hostess was very pleasant and oversees everything to make sure the guests are well taken care of. Archie the teppanyaki chef was entertaining and made sure everything was cooked as desired. Ashmita & Anuma the servers were very good and provided excellent customer service. Overall a very nice experience, will return and would recommend.

If you like teppanyaki, thats the place!Everything is fresh and tasty. The cooks are fun and friendly. Waitress helpful and nice.I am quite demanding with this kind of cooking way, because I know a few other very good places doing it.For me, this one is now one of my favourite. Great Teppanyaki Experience! We went here for the teppanyaki dinner and it exceeded our expectations. The staff are warm and friendly. The teppanyaki chef is well-experienced and gave us entertaining dinner service. Food is superb, good portions and tasteful.

Sakura is a great place to go in a group as the Teppanyaki table seats more than 8 people and the chef puts on a show while cooking the food of your preference. The staff is very knowledgeable and great on service. Sakura is Highly recommended!

Went recently for the 2nd time. Still good but selection of the sushi buffet was reduced from the previous visit, but will still go again to try the Teppanyaki nights.Just went again, this time for the Teppanyaki which was a great experience. Chef was very entertaining. Every course tased great. Will go again. Have to many teppanyaki in my life time and this is one I recommend.

We have been to this restaurant twice and this time I would like to surprise my parents by bringing them to Sakura to experience Teppanyaki night, yes thats a very good successful. thank you Monna, Nozanin and our chef Roden.. Monna is amazing and so friendly, her attention to details from the moment we make reservation, greetings and always make sure that our dinner was enjoyable especially we celebrate on special occasion for my dads birthday dinner.

Ive been there for the sushi night. Im sure I will never go back!1. Service is super slow.2. The buffet is very small, not much variety is available( 3 sushi rolls variety and 2 nigri )also sashimi. Thats it!3. The manager is very rude. We had a problem with our bill and the manager came to our table, she was very rude handling the issue (she didnt even know how to handle it, and when we told her we are leaving but we are so not satisfied about our night, she simply said: I can do nothing)4. Not worth to pay for a sushi night here with all other places in Dubai having better costumer service and better buffets.

Tried a la carte and ordered spicy edamame to start along with our drinks. It was good, but lacked salt, which a bit of soya sauce fixed straightaway! :) For drinks we ordered 1 mojito, 1 beer, and 1 carafe of sake.Next ordered 2 portions of salmon sashimi, 1 spicy tuna maki, and 1 lion king maki. What a treat!! They were generous portions - 6 thick cuts of sashimi each and approx 8 pieces of sushi. Everything was delicious, especially the fresh sashimi and the lion king sushi. Loved it!The ambience & decor is tacky and a bit outdated with crooked paintings, trip advisor awards, and picture frames hung everywhere, and a bit more gimmicky than authentic to attract diners of all ethnicities. The table we sat at had huge cracks on the top surface that looked terrible. You also have the noisy teppenyaki section that seemed to attract most of their crowd.Apart from that, this is definitely a value-for-money restaurant, especially if you get a discount using certain membership cards, bank cards, etc. All the above mentioned food and drink items came up to just under 500dhs (before the discount), so its still a bit pricey, but portion sizes are definitely better than other similar japanese restaurants.Staff are very friendly and attentive. We would definitely go back again.

The food was very good. The show however was completely nonexistent. The hibachi griller brought out prepped, mixed veggies and meat, simply put them on the grill and cooked them. Never said a word other than asking who ordered what, no show, no entertainment. We could have gotten an equally good meal for a cheaper price somewhere else but my wife and I chose hibachi for the entertainment. Sadly we spent a lot of money and had a boring time, but at least good food.

I was their for sushi night buffet..it was a bad experience..1-The buffet is small .2- The service is bad .3- the sushi not to much delicious.4-The soup not delicious.5- The price is not match the sushi standard .6-only 1 small salad is allowed to eat.7- the drink is only Pepsi and market juice ..no hot drinks .

The finest institution! For several years, Ive been looking for a restaurant with teppanyaki on trips. And, finally, my first experience was accomplished. Very polite and smiling staff, cheerful show from the chef and incredibly delicious dishes. Prices are high (for teppanyaki separate menu, about 10 dishes with a price of 160-300AD), but its worth it. Moreover, we used the Entertainer coupon, and paid only for one of the two dishes. Before the show, they brought a delicious salad and soup, and at the end - a set of rolls as a complement from the administrator. I advise everyone to this institution!

Tried my first teppanyaki experience here in December 2018. Absolutely positive !!They made the buffet available to us (good, maybe a little to enrich) and then the cook came to introduce himself. We enjoyed the excellent food cooked in a fun and witty way with games that leave you speechless ... The icing on the cake is the delicious desserts!

Definitely the best sushi I have ever eaten. We visited here with a bigger group and the food was heavenly. This was indeed an opportunity worth experiencing to see the chefs also use the knives excellently. I recommend!
