[ Worst Service in Dubai ]I wish I could rate 0 star for this horrible restaurant.Hope you compare the 2 pictures first.I could barely find seafood in the Tomyum soup unlike the picture on the menu!Can you believe that both are the same food which is AED 33??Most horrible thing of the rastaurant was the manager.The manager of the branch was really really really rude!!He has no idea about his job and never educated how to treat customer at all.I suggest this place to whoever wants to experience the worst service in Dubai.If you dont, I strongly suggest you to visit any other branches.I will never ever visit the branch again in my life time!

Great quality and affordable prices (considering regular sushi prices) make this the right choice for lunch or dinner with friends and family. There’s so many types of rolls available that you’re spoilt for choice! My favorite, however, is the one with sweet potato crisps on top. I also tried their different vegetarian sushis , mojito, ramen noodles and fried ice cream. My favorite was definitely fried ice cream. Overall my experience was great.

Delicious Food, reasonable pricing, with above average service. Their chicken teriyaki bento is consistently awesome! Its dark meat, crunchy, tender, and comes with extra teriyaki sauce. Highly recommended!One minor downside is that they dont serve local still water, only acqua panna. Nowadays, I prefer Masafi or Al Ain water compared to Acqua Panna.

Good food for reasonable price. Public Parking is close to the restaurant but be aware of only last row (the furthest row from the building) is available for public (see photo in red) Other parking slot is reserved and you will be fined if parking in a wrong place. Then buy a ticket and place on dashboard for parking there. Prepare coins for tickets. 2AED per hour.

Sumo Sushi has one of the best tasting sushi at amazing prices in Dubai. I love the fact that they are so creative with all the ingredients and flavours. I generally don’t order dishes other than sushi but tried their Miso Soup, crab salad, sushi sandwich and I was impressed by them as much as im impressed by their sushi. Until today it was one of my favorite place for Sushi...But today I totally got disappointed with the Manager at media city branch.... Not happy at all with his behaviour and attitude. Very rood!!! He has no idea about his job description and how to talk with the guest. He has zero % customer service.Today after dinner with my family I used Enterteiner app which they suppose to remove one main dish instead of that he has removed the kids meal and have charged me extra. Instead of extending his apologies he was rood and very arrogant!I will never visit this branch again and will never suggest to my friends and families.

Just had an amazing dinner experience at Sumo Sushi & Bento at Media City. My husband and I ordered the rock n roll shrimp, california roll, sushi sandwich and the shinobi roll. Everything was so fresh and delicious as always.

Great sushi platters and bento boxes. The quality and taste is amazing. The only dish I disliked was the tom yum soup way too salty and basically just basic broth with some calamari and shrimps and salt.

Nice setup with indoors and outdoors on a little garden. Tried their July special but was not impressed by the starter. They only have a variety platter for 2 or more persons but the waiter was nice enough to find me something similar. Drinks were very nice and sushi very fresh. Prices are ok for a sushi meal. It is a well known location, exists quiet long ago and a favorite corner for my workplace colleagues. I cant remember their quality then, but now the quality of all slices, taste, and caviar coatings on rolls gave the dishes different experiences, crunchy chewy and soft. Good presentation 👏👌👍.oved their food. Chefs Special Tray/Platter is quiet good enough for 2 to 3 adults and 2 kids. Loved their Kimchi compliments, I had love for the spicy flavor of Korean Kimchis, and they served Japanese version, Iam kinda not that food specific or that food aware to find difference..As kids are not regular to Shushi/Bento, I prepared to get them try all their varieties, though it is way more in quantity for us.Dont forget to get their application to get some Kenji coins 🪙💰. 90% of the menu is with tempura, i asked if they can make custom order they did but they posted 5-10 AEDs on each item without informing me about the extra charge, the pieces were very small and some of the pieces had missing ingredients inside means the ingredients inside were not distributed right or they put a little portion and since the pieces are small then definitely they put a little portion... Crab salad was actually cucumber salad u can notice in the picture i didnt even feel the crabs by tge way tge plate is not empty i ordered half portion, i returned one of the order twice in order to modify it, the staff are good but they didnt know what to say when i told them i didnt like the food

Inefficient app. DMC did not receive my Dine In order. Besides, the item in the menu which I ordered was not available in DMC. I ended up placing my order again in person. And when I checked out and paid for my bill, 1,500 Kenji Coins were deducted although I only used 500. This happened on 19 Feb afternoon.

Not good. We have always been a fan of Sumo but todays experience was not nice. We always eat there with kids. Before we ordered our food we clearly told them that were going to use entertainer vouchers which we usually do. No problems in the past. They said its fine we could use 2 vouchers and took our order. After we already ordered abd waiting for food a few minutes later the new manager came out and told us that the vouchers are not applicable to kids. One of my kids is 13 and one is 9yrs. Old. When we asked him he couldnt even answer properly of what the real rule is and where its written. Being a manager he could have accommodated us and explained us the rules for next time (maybe) but losing an old customer was no problem especially in these crunch times when everyone is trying to help eachother. Sumo preferred to lose a customer over a 1+1 meal.

Worst sushi ever. Oil fried in seem like 2 days old. Quality of food below basics. I got a shrimp digestive system in my food was so yuck. Really sad to have such japanese places that dont meet 1 star rating.
