Good hotel to stay.Economical. Recomended

Well the rooms are big but they have this strange damp smell which welcomes you each time you enter the room and its kind of permanent. This smell is very unpleasant. The air-conditioning is strong and apparently the temperature regulator doesnt work so you either switch it on and have a super cold room or just switch it off. The washroom is okayish but there was a constant flowing water noise coming from one of the vents and it could disturb your sleep late at night because of the sound of constant flowing water. Hot water is more like luke warm and it gets a bit colder as you fill up the bath tub. So in short you dont get that hot water bath feel in the tub.Water bottle is only complimentary on day one. They have some clubs down there as well and enterance fee is like 100 Dhs. Access to hotel is easy with the metro station right next to it.

Its cheap for a reason. You can get much better accommodation for a bit more money. The rooms are not clean. The smell of cigarette smoke is heard throughout the building. The bath tubs are not cleaned and stained. I canceled my booking and paid the fine. It was worth paying the fine and getting the hell out of there.

I think it is cheaper in rates as compare to others so if you want to save money on trip then chose this one.Hotel management also make policy flexible for guests and never let them to complain.

Good points.... reception and service was great. Room had 3 beds to accommodate my family. Location was very convenient. Close to shopping and the train. Bad points..... not the cleanest hotel Ive stayed in. Food on the buffet was not good. Internet was very bad. Only one double electrical outlet in the room. I had to move my entire bed close to the other side of the room close the outlet to be able to utilize my laptop. Lastly, I paid good money to stay for 3 nights. I bought a burger from a local place, but the room had no microwave. I went to the kitchen to ask about using theirs and they told me that management said we have to pay to use the microwave. I was shocked and kind of insulted. I thought this was a HORRIBLE policy, especially for a hotel in Dubai, the biggest tourist destination in the world. I tolerated the hotel until that incident.

The location is very nice: just a few steps from the Salah Al Din metro station. The stuffs are friendly and welcoming. Didnt have to wait too long for the check-in. The only cons was the bathroom was too small in our room (I believe it varies). You can find super markets and restaurant in the neighborhood. Overall a very nice hotel in a nice location.Unfortunately, one of the two lifts was not working, and another one was very slow. It was bit disappointment. Breakfast was not great either, I was below average.Room Tip: Ask for a room that has a decent size bathroom. Ours was too tiny.

Budget hotel with good room. But very poor cleanliness and they dont give water like other hotels. I stayed for 6 nights but the cleaning guy just made up my room once!

Hotel is old, less light, facility is not good, hand shattaf is broken, no kettle for hot water, window is fix so you have to do something with room smell, its not worth it. Club in the ground floor is so loud and on the second day of our stay no WiFi at all. Our door card required to be re-charge due to 1 day access only even our stay is for 2 days. No slipper and carpet is dirty. Been into different hotel and its not qualified to be recommend to a friend or family.

Had such a bad experience that I really frustrated me... Id done reservations online and when I reached there at about 7pm they told me its only allowed for couples of the same nationality... and at that moment I got so miserable not knowing where to go... atleast such information should be displayed on the website atleast... so even if you have a girlfriend of not the same nationality they cant accept you... guys its the 21st century ... wake up!!🤬🤬

If youre planing to visit Dubai and looking for a hotel in city center, I recommend City Star Hotel located in center of the city with almost all facilities near by you. Clean & spacious room and highly cooperative management.

I am only giving this hotel a 3 star because I waited long in the reception. To think that Dubai is hot and humid I sweat toooooo much. That lady dont know how I like to go to my room already and take a cool bath. Yes guys the water here is cold even though its summer during that time. In Marco Polo Hotel. Its hot.

Totally Disappointed with the service.1. The towels are torn and are not cleaned properly.2. There is wifi for the name sake(i dont think anyone in this buiding is using it).3. Not suitable for family.

Horrible service. There is no internet connection and when ask they threatened us to leave without a refund. The receptionist said he is not bothered to give a solution and also mentioned if we wanted a new room withninternet we had to wait till 100 p.m or leave without a refund. I am surprise to see a service so bad :(

Its so bad experience i made a booking last february no emails /message confirmation. I just notice that they hold amount on my debit card and i sent a message true email like everyday to follow-up but you guys can keep on promising you will check... Its not normal how may days i keep on calling and you keep on transferring my call to reservation and accounts same alibi. I just spoke today to your very rude staff in accounts (MS CHERYL) she answer me im alone in accounts im busy that why i dont have time to check????? what a nice answer... Guys its a hospitality....CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOO POOR..... Its been 2 months you blocked that amount its should be released in 2 weeks maximum.....

Very good value to money. Location is very good because of easy access to Metro and very close to Al Ghurair shopping Center. Close to Dubai central area like Bani Yas Square. It has parking facility but you have to pay for which is very necessary if you have a car. Hotel rooms are spacious and room service is acceptable.

This hotel is located approximately before Salahaddine metro station when going from alghurair center. The location is very good and the 🏨 city 🌟 star is very good with best service provided in a very professional way. The hotel is neat and clean .. I have been there for sometimes and senn that they are qualified

Waleed, a guy working at main entrance, is a dishonest man. I came from Australia (Sydney) to Dubai for vacations. I went to this hotel to have a drink at Arab bar. This guy has a monopoly with bar staff inside. After drink when I wanted to pay for my red bull, waleed took me out and asked me to pay directly to him and not to bar counter. He also lied to me that city star hotel does not take payment by card. I said this is impossible. He wanted to take cash from me and put in his pocket. Due to this man, I will not come here again and also I will inform my friends in Sydney that don’t go to city star hotel because their staff is dishonest. Very disappointed.

Bad experience . Couldn’t stay more than 15 mins very bad smell in the room ...I think it’s for the people need 3rd class night life with pub and girls..not for stay ..Good things -Staff are good ,Good location they have refunded immediately.

1 star because it is too expensive for what it is. This is not an hotel but a place with at least 4 nightclubs where there are bedrooms. The sound is so high that I could here it at the 4th level (dont forget your Bose handset). There is a dark and weird bar in the hotel next to the lobby. This is a shabby hotel to me.What I like :* the fresh orange juice and espresso is not so bad.* you baggages are taken from the taxi to your bedrrom.* nearby the metroWhat I dislike :* the cleaning is approximative (there is dust in my bedroom, stains on the bedsheets. The plastic cover is still on the lampshade).* bed and chairs are not comfy (I have a back pain).* TV doesnt work very well (the image is not clear and very few )* go somewhere else for the food.* free wifi in the lobby. This is very slow.* avoid a bedroom on the big boulevard.

Its a very poor hotel but its good for people need somewhere to stay but they dont want to spend money- its possible to take one master bedroom for 100 Dhs daily.

A Very Good Hotel near to Salah Al Din Metro Station and Bus Stop. Has almost 5 Dance Clubs. Reef Mall and Al Ghurair Centre is nearby.The Only problem with this Hotel is WiFi. The WiFi Connectivity and speed is the worst

No house keeping service at all. No bedsheet is changed. No drinking water given after entry. Purchased own water bottle. Not at all happy .

Rooms are nice but dont allow visitors even after producing valid id proof. Dont understand why after seeing the reception and its people around.

Good price and location. Limited and confined car parking, noisy night club, no kettle, nonsmoking room smells of smoke. WiFi is aed 10/hr.

I dont know about the hotel service but Parking is not free and is 15 AED per night. So please check before yoù book.

The experience was nice. Silent and peaceful. Has their own restaurant and food was nice. I can recommend this for family stay.
