Absolutely horrendous. Nobody bothers to even pick up the intercom. Very rude front desk. Cleaning and housekeeping was prompt. Also the security is very friendly. The interiors are stuck in the 1900s. Value for money - probably. But spend a couple hundred more and stay somewhere better. Would not come back even as a last choice.

Nice room, big clean parking, staff professional. Unfortunately they don’t serve alcohol beverages at all anymore, compared with previous times when they had famous club and great restaurants. But in generally it’s value for money

Had a very bad experience with the Hotel. I have booked my stay the night before. Then when it’s time for check-in, the queue is very long. I waited for almost an hour before someone assisted me. When I am about to check-in, one of the receptionist, just took my ID and put it in an envelope and ask me to write my number to call me, because they don’t have an available rooms at the moment. Which is the case for all the guest who are checking in that day.I ask them why they are still confirming online bookings if they don’t have rooms.. They just answered, “I don’t know”..I just asked them to cancel my booking and I just left. Until now they haven’t issue my refund.Very bad experience, i will never consider booking again on this hotel.

It is very basic in providing comfort. Net is too slow. Nobody bothers to respond on intercom whether you dial guest relations or reception.

My experience in MD hotel ( old name is Cassells hotel) is absolutely bad🤬👎🏻. I agree that is price staying in this hotel not high, but even they SHOULD TRY to provide good customer SERVICE , what they DON’T HAVEI faced here the worst customer service i have ever had ( Front desk ). I really wondering how they hired such a rude people to work in reception. First of all front desk staff, they dont know how to do their job properly even they can’t make normal check in and really like to bother guest who is staying in this hotel. And also second worst thing is a way how they communicate with guest showing absolutely dis respect. I feel that they did’t get any education. And really want to give bad feedback to receptionist with name Vismho (from India or Pakistan). He really need to learn how to talk with people in polite manner, especially with woman 👩🏻( he need to understand that not open souk in Deira)Only one thing is good in this hotel is location, easy access to metro🚉, Mall of Emirates and beaches. Rooms furniture is very old, some of them already broken + bad customer service. Only who is doing their job good is HOUSEKEEPERS 👍🏻and DOORMAN👍🏻. To mine opinion i will never come back here and i will not suggest to any one. Better i can suggest you to stay in Mena hotel plaza also in Al Barsha, were we was living last week . Condition of room and customer service is 100%.I will leave my feedback in Russian language as well for my friends from CIS countries

The hotel location not bad 100 meters from the metro station.The stuff is friendly, hotel includes gym and roof pool, rooms are spacious and you can find small vault for personal valuable things.The food not bad but there is no variety in all meals.You can find small market close to the hotel for quick grocery shopping, also some restaurants and dry cleaners in the same street which the hotel located.After all good for 4 star hotel and many thing around can help you for what you need.

Great hotel and a perfect location to the metro,On the other hand, the front office staff are not friendly at busy times, also they keep us in non smoking room which was really upsetting us as smokers.I think the hotel management should ensure to comfort their guest according to their needs.Also the markets surrounding is very well,Supermarkets, pharmacy and local cold store are seconds away from the hotel door step,The availability of the taxi is outstanding in my opinion.

Pros:- very close to the rta (metro)- not expensive .. Room space and amenities are good value for what I paid- the room service guys (Abdul Latif) is a hardworking, polite young manCons:- far from most attractions in Dubai- far from downtown Dubai- rooms bleed noise, last night I was in there were three persons in the floor hallway laughing and speaking loudly till 4-5 am. Woke me up an I couldnt get back to sleep- they charged me for 75 derham for a 2 hours room visit... I wasnt even sure if thats legal or not.. And the person was a friend not a sex worker or anything like thatWould I choose to stay there again..? Not really. I would try to find some other hotel, and dont mind to pay a little more to have a better service

First of all - the hotel cancelled my booking.com reservation even if I wrote to them that Ill be late and they confirmed it. After our arrival we asked for room with some view..I bet they doesnt have a room with worse view than we got. In the room was everything really old, the fridge smelled like a s..t, windows were dirty (but whatever, nothing was behind them) and in bathroom was mold. After spending 10 days in this and paid 1540Dhs they us wanted us to pay for 4 papers, that we needed to print.Definitely not worth the money!

Over all experience is good, very warm and good staff. Only 1 star less for bath cloth line was not working even I complaint.

Nice hotel room and friendly staff especially Rami.

Rooms are comfortable but the reception was rude with customers specifically the bulky arabic guy. His attitude was take it or leave it. I would prefer other hotels next time. Al Barsha area is full of hotels, all nearby mall of the Emirates.

They rejected me just because I got tested positive from covid 19 eventhough I have a certification that says I am physically fit and I have completed the quarantine period. They don’t understand that after that completion, you won’t be infectious anymore. The manager even gave me this gesture to step back as if I am really contagious. They made me feel uncomfortable and they put me to shame. Even the manager is not talking to me in a nice manner. I really don’t recommend this place. Good thing they rejected me, because I have found a better place with cheaper price. I am a covid nurse and it hurts that because you got infected, someone would treat you like that. I hope you read this comment!!!

Not a bad hotel but the rooms should be taken care of more.

I was so dissapionted just right after I stepped at hotel reception, receptionist guy was very rude,after I entered to number, it was my second dissapointment , room was very smelling, I felt like I was in hostel, there was hair in the washroom, yellow stains, and it was bubbles on the wallpaper, wallpapers were torn, and the worst thing was blood and other stains on the matrass.... After I complained they moved me to another room but I guess all rooms were in same condition. Since it was late night I had no choice to go and look for new place, so in the morning I left the place running 🏃 away..... I know the place is only 4 stars, but Ive seen better 3starts hotel...

Been here for roughly 10 days, its such an amazing place to stay. The service is very professional. They understand how to make you feel at home and yet have the hotel experience.

Our time in Cassells has been the best stays we had so far. 1bedroom suite is massive and Customer Service is excellent. Satya has been so accommodating as he assisted us in booking and usage of banquet and to his Mgr Mr. Ahmed. We will surely comeback for more stays and will definitely recommed to our family and friends

Although the personnel is very friendly and attentive there are some things which aren’t good at all to my consideration.The rooms are dusty, so if you have a dust allergies, everything smells like dust. Carpet, bed, sheets, curtains.They only provide towels for the shower no towels for the face or towels for the hands, which is the first time I’ve seen something like this.They’re promoting a lunch of the day at the hotel for 25 and charged me 150 when I ordered it to the pool.While in other hotels and locations you can easily connect to a vpn to use WhatsApp and Facebook and video call your family, abroad. In this hotel is impossible or nearly impossible, everything seems to be block. A major reason for me to switch to another hotel.The fire alarm has been going on everyday even inside my room and that like at 5 am while I’m sleeping! Very loud and scary.Plus points: the rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday.

I have witnessed the most horrible experience of my 20 years living in dubai when two tourist were rejected for an emergency help.There were two guests by the name of Mrs. Gulsara B. and Mrs. Sevara B. stayed in room XXX, in Casselles Al Barsha Hotel -  both Uzbekistani nations.On the 9th of February 2021 - there was an emergency incident which took place with Mrs. Gulsara B. - age 58 , she had a sudden extreme heart pain and was unable to breath properly in her room. Since both do not have local numbers and do not speak the language , Mrs. Sevara rushed downstairs and requested the reception desk to call for an ambulance immediately! She also translated on Google translate that there is an emergency in the room and they need medical assistance right away, and presented the same message to the reception.They managed to bring in a Russian speaking Employee - Anna Sakyan , who is working as a sales executive in the hotel and who is able to communicate in Russian language. However, instead of taking immediate action she mentioned that they are unable to call the ambulance and that the hotel will be charged the expenses.The Hotel staff and Anna Sakyan ignored the request completely and NO medical assistance nor efforts were put into calling any ambulance for the emergency incident.Instead , Mrs. Sevara managed to ask me - a complete stranger to call in for an ambulance for them.I was shocked and couldnt believe that this is happening.I spoke to the people in the reception and Anna Sakyan , and she was extremely rude and inconsiderate and left the reception desk instead !For any of the people considering to stay in this hotel please keep in mind ‘ZERO help will be provided during critical situations.

My room has leaking ceiling near the entrance and in the bathroom. Internet sucks, always disconnecting and reconnecting over and over again.

One of the most convenient places to stay in Dubai. It’s close to metro station and have good leisure facilities.Staff is extremely good especially Ms. Anusha and Mr. Bishnu at the front desk who attended to all requests and complaints spontaneously.Spent 5 months over here because of the comfort level they offer and the homely feeling that gradually comes.This will be one of my best experiences of staying at a hotel. Thanks to all the staff who made this memorable.Recommended place to stay in Dubai

Really bad place to go , will never do it again , room service takes forever , many missing things in the room , unnecessarily room upgrade which lead us into a room with no AC , booked a two single beds through online and re confirm that with the receptionist then Im surprised with a single king sized bed , pool is out of service , not recommend unless you will just get the room to sleep not to enjoy your staying

A bit oldish, still, old is gold, or so they say...The staff was nice and friendly, apart from a manager who was literally barking at some of the bell boys, not really professional and friendly for a manager I must say.The place is quite crowded and affluent, many activities on site like a kind of nightclub, a restaurant etc like all hotels with this standing, however, like I said, it is a bit oldish.Rooms were large and had all the facilities, however again, the furniture was a bit... Yeah you guessed it, oldish. Comfy beds though.Wont tell about the bad experience there but well, thats not their fault after all.

Closer to a prison than a hotel.

The place was good, the room was big. Location itself was fantastic. Near to everything specially the supermarket front of the hotel. Only the thing we didnt like, The time when we arrived, when they gave us the key and going to the room, the room was not fully ready So we waited in front of our room. The receptionist should asked the housekeeping if the room was ready before they gave the key. It should have proper communication.

I stayed in Cassells hotel Al Barsha yesterday and checked out today, but I’m really sad to inform everyone that the I forgot a dress in that room which had AED300 and on enquiring about it later, they blankly refused about it. I dn’t understand How can money vanish from the dress? I am very unhappy with the hotel service and the house keeping staff’s integrity.
