Good hotel

Hotel is at prime location. City center mall at walking distance. Local shopping market also at walking distance. Rooms have bathtub and rooms are also spacious. The restaurant of the hotel is also very good with live music.

Very good place for a reasonable and intellectually person

It was a cosy hotel. Decent rooms. Good view from the window overlooking streets. Housekeeping and cleaning services were satisfactory. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good. As we were group of Indian people and most of them were vegetarians, they served us veg food which was quite good. Its quite well-known hence finding it wasnt difficult as well. Good place to stay for a tourist, Indians will feel quite homely

I usually come here once a while. Ambience is good, bar attendants are friendly. Food is good. They offer a wide range of liquor brands which will not cost you more than the usual average price in Dubai. A nice place for weekend refreshment.

Located on the prime location of Bur Dubai. Decent rooms. House keeping and room services are quite good. Well maintained, Clean and neat place. Staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was also awesome. Good place for tourist. Experienced very good hospitality. Walking distance to market. Overall it was nice stay.

Good location, near metro, bus stop, Creek. The place has a feel of Indian hotel, offers mostly Indian food & almost all TV channels show Indian themes. There is a basic swimming outside pool, I didnt get to use it. The sheets and towels are changed and very white. The bottle water is refilled from filtered water, same bottle refilled twice or so. I didnt like the taste of the filtered water, I preferred to buy local water. If you intend to stay for business it shopping in deira or bur Dubai it is in a great location. Not good for luxurious vacations,l.

George and Dragon at the Ambassador Hotel is a quaint little place which serves great spirits along with some groovy music (jukebox). Sports aficionados can watch the latest global events and can catch up on a game of pool

The place not to be missed in Dubai. It has a long history to tell. It has seen Dubai from 40 years back. The mini bar and the restaurants are a class in itself. A must visit place.

Such a waste of time. Sad to see the state of the hotel which was at one time and iconic place. Out of the three restaurants on the ground floor, two were permanently closed. The one which was open was such a dead deal. They said that they dont have beer or anything from the draft. Ordered the fried calamari which had no flavours. Just saddened by the whole experience. A golden era gone.

Part of the ASTAMB Hospitality group and managed by the Lulla family, Ambassador hotel is a major landmark and probably one of the oldest 3 star hotels in Bur Dubai. A few minutes walk from the Textile Wholesale market, the ABRA (Water Taxi Station), Dubai Museum, Meena Bazaar Ghubaiba Bus / Metro station and Computer street, this establishment is perfect not only for business travelers, but also tourists.

Very friendly staff. The hotel itself is an icon, a witness to Dubais history. I like that theyve kept the original structure and design since it was inaugurated decades ago. If you want to experience the old dubai, this is the place to stay. A very unique experience.Plus it is very near to the bus terminal and the dubai museum.

Food was good..one of my colleague forgot his watch...when we visited next day..the staff was not Co operative and not willing to show CCTV...till now we didnt receive a satisfactory answer.

Friendly little Hotel good bar with cheap good quality food and beer. Parking on site ( haggle the price) or across the road. Bar can get a bit smoky when busy.

Its one of the oldest landmarks in Dubai. However, its lost its charm off late with most of the restaurants within Ambassador closing.

Its the oldest hotel n every time I visit Dubai I end up staying in Ambassador hotel as it is in the very convenient place.

Neat place, oldest Hotel in Bur Dubai (as informed by the staff), Mostly Hindi speaking staff, good breaksfast.. . wonderful location, close to Metro, Shops, Restaurants, close too Indian eateries. Close to the ferry point as well

The staff have not been paid since July, so tip heavily! A once great pub being slowly destroyed...

The hotel isnt a kind of a luxury type but called it to be 3 star hotel. The hotel and its rooms give a little old fashioned look. Rooms and service provided were good but not to the top notch. For foodies its sad, the hotels restaurant offers only a limited kinda of dishes. The hotel is located near to a subway metro, so reaching there wont be a difficult thing for tourist from Dubai airport.

Right in the center of old Dubai, it is one of the oldest hotels in Dubai. Great connectivity to the metro as well. They have the yummiest chicken tikkas and stuffed mushrooms.

Rooms are very bad and u will feel the humid air every where in hotel.Food was nice tough.

We stayed there for 5 days.Location is very handy. Only couple of minutes walk to the public transport service and the Big Bus tour. Museum and abra is also few minutes walk. Restaurants, pharmacy and supermarket just a step away. Most of the staff were nice and the service was awesome. Room service lady was friendly and did her job well.Room was a bit rundown. Aircon was horrible. Didn’t cool properly and was a very outdated floor unit. The noise from the aircon was so bad that you can’t sleep properly at night and when you switch it off, the rooms are not even sound proof as mentioned otherwise on the website, you can hear the noise from outside. Shower pressure is good but the shower space is quite dark and space is minimal. You can’t turn properly when taking a shower even for a normal sized person. We had the next door guest arguing at night and early morning for 2 consecutive nights and as the room wasn’t sound proof, we couldn’t sleep properly. When we complained after the second night,we were just told that they will check out today.

Had gone to the sports bar at the hotel with a couple of friends. Not bad. Not an upscale bar and found it bot too crowded on a weekday. The pool table is the center wofe the attraction and was fun playing it. Beers on tap and bottles. 3 pints with one food dish cost was 107aed. They also had an option of 5 pint with one food dish but forgot the cost for that. Reasonably priced and decent service.

Ambassador Hotel is a 3 Star hotel and is located in Dubais business and commercial district, Bur Dubai. Its a very central if you are coming to Dubai for a business trip. They have decent in house restaurants and bars. The rooms are neat, clean and comfortable, the staff is polite and helpful.Very accessible to the Dubai Metro (Al Ghubaiba Station on the green line) and public transport. It is a short distance from the Old Souk, Meena Bazar, the Textile Souk, Saeed Al Maktoum House and the Gold Souq. The closest mall to the hotel is BurJuman.The Dubai airport is less than 8 km from the hotel. For residents free parking is available at the hotel. Free WiFi also available for guests staying at the hotel.

Best place in South Mumbai

Such a weird and disappointing place. I find myself as undemanding traveler but I simply wanted to spend most time out from my room. Extremely outdated standard rooms (they still use keys, not access cards), smell of indian cuisine is coming from the street all the time, AC unit is too noisy to sleep. At least this place was clean...
