The service and knowledge are at an elite level regarding of my policies, particularly the international policy coverage, and rates. The convenience of being able to get things done through their professional staff is just perfect. The many options available for policies with different companies allowed us to get the best service, premiums and coverage from them. Overall, I couldn’t be happier.

Insurance should help people stay in good health, not what you’re doing. Your team of general practitioners needs to learn that specialized HCPs are prescribing medical and they have no right to reject a claim if they are not suspicious of medicinal abuse

I am a 16 year old with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and ventricular tachycardia, I was supposed to receive an ICD implant as my heart rate was unstable and going up to 270 bpm randomly however Aetna put my insurance under review and rejected it a day before the surgery. I am deeply saddened as my life is on the line here and due to my heart palpitations being random I will not know when this will happen and this can easily be fatal. I am honestly disgusted by their sheer disregard for my life where my family has paid and they should be expecting a law suit/ large influx Of negative media attention coming their way

My wife is registered with them and due to give birth. Very disappointed in their service. Robotic answers. Very arrogant. Time wasting. They denied a water birth claim even though it is same cost as normal birth- they just could not understand this nor offer a solution. Staff require a lot of training and their guidelines require work to understand modern medical requests. On this experience, I would not recommend. Hopefully they take this feedback and improve training, empathy and effort to help.

DO NOT have health insurance with this company, they will make you suffer even more...Google should make the NO STARS at all option also available...They dont even deserve a negative star!Not to mention that they dont respect your privacy.

I am insured with them and I am not very happy. Their IT and claims process is very complicated and it takes much longer than other providers I had in the past. Second they seem to question heavily expenses to try and question doctors, looking to for reason to say this was a pre-existing condition (even for chickenpox vacination for my son how can that be pre-esting?). So with all the back and forth between Aetna, me and doctors (who already provided a report). This is really time consuming and frustation. I really advise people to consder this. If they dont end-up paying claims this means that the insurance becomes really expensive. If things improve, I will add to this post.Update at on June 2019 - continue to have problems getting valid claims processed. The people on the phone are like robots quoting processes and asking me to get more infomation from doctors even after the medical report was submitted. Complete time consuming nightmare.Update June 09 - Spend 40 minutes on the phone checking the oustanding claims. Agent (Veronica) cannot answer on the phone, says she needs to check and will call me back in 15mins. Its now June 13 and I got no call back, so I am again on holding with them going thru the same process. Agent says has system issues will call me back in 10 mins. Again, time wasted no progress.Now 90 mins have gone by no call back. I can them again, I have Veronica is not there maybe on a break the

One of the worst insurance provider, we are so regret that we enrolled to aetna membership. stingy to provide approval for any test even for a medicines the hospital pharmacy has to call them to get approval even for a panadol which they reject sometime. We have been deceiced by them our thousand of dollars have been stolen by their broker in the middle east in the name of medical insurance.

Extremely bad service and more than unprofessional. Paid $12k premium a year and they declined 300$ claim for total unjustified reasons. I felt like been stolen. Also call center were not helpful, with no smart guidance, and very arrogant !!!
