I have rented a car for a period of six days.I know the prices was a little bit higher than the others but they have given me a new car .The drop off check took around three minutes .The authorization hold removed after two days . I have never was satisfied with a rental car company .PS. Before I returned the car I made a car wash and fill it with petrol like when taken .So ,Thanks thrifty especially the young lady on the front disk .

I got bad experience returning a toyota corrola for my first time in Dubai International Airport. I wasted around 25 mins only to get final receipt for the car. The inspection guy was so diligent to check meticulously the car exterior and car interior. He compared every single detail of the dents between car-out and car-in. Everytime i rented a car, i awalys treat it as my own, so the car was in perfect condition, just it was dirty as i did not have time to wash over my limited holiday time. Fortunately, i made a video during my car out, so he could watch it and ended the inspection. Then he founded a water mark in the back seat and i did not have the video. So he confused what to do about it. I told him that i did not have much time so i needed firm action whether i needed to pay addtional charge to clean the water mark, then he summoned a cleaner and disccused. Finally after 5 mins, the cleaner said that it was small issue and could be removed easily. I approached the manager to get my final bill and paid toll charges i used during my rental.One more thing to remember is about full insurance coverage. In Dubai, you can claim car insurance after got police report. So if the car got a significant dent while parked, you can not make a claim. So beware of this different treatment than in USA.

I was deducted for the cost of replacing a tyre blow out. I am sure this was due to poorly maintained tyres as I only did inner city driving during 4 days. Never mind the inconvenience of replacing a tyre in the middle of Dubai at 1:00am (apparently road-side assistance doesnt cover tyre change).After bringing the car back to the airport, and being told that I was to pay for the cost of a new tyre, I was given a replacement car with overdue engine oil maintenance.I could bore you with more details but I think you get the point. Hire from them at your own peril!

Horrible experience. Was charged a crazy amount for a tiny scratch that we didn’t cause. Horrible service and reps were extremely unhelpful. Made us very late to our flight. Don’t recommend at all

Although we had great service and the car was in fine order, se are still waiting (after 19 days) for them to unblock the cash on our credit card. They said it will take no more than 10 days. Not cool mess with peoples money!

Nice selection of cars.There are 2 problems that I faced:1- They keep you waiting for so long to receive your car. This is was not the first time.2- They charged for the parking lot. Seriously!!

No Pros - Cons only:Car required service after 600km after it was issued. Car battery died 4 days after being serviced, and was told to call a friend to jump-start the car?!Service agent from T3 hung up on me multiple times when requesting info regarding my rental. New rental agreement was booked for a standard car class, and Thriftys would only honour a compact??Vehicle was received filthy on the interior, was finding hair, grit and packages of sauce in seats/etc throughout the duration of the rental.Thrifty service fully represents the very definition of its name!

Getting the car wasnt an issue for me. It was the broken GPS that gave me plenty of problems. At first the GPS unit they gave me wouldnt stay in the socket and kept popping out. After the 2nd one did the same I had to open the middle dash compartment and stick the GPS there so I could see where I was going. The screen was out of calibration since I had to keep pressing the buttons around it for it to register my touch.What kind of GPS doesnt know the difference between a Gas station or Grocery store? On the morning on my way to the airport to return the car and catch my flight I asked the GPS to route me to the nearest gas station on my way and it kept taking me to grocery stores. I got out and asked the attendants of those stores for directions to the nearest gas station and they said they didnt know. I was looking for a gas station for an hour and a half. At the end I gave up and paid 30 dirhams for gas.Not a satisfied customer nor a happy one.

Worst car rental ever, don’t be fooled by their low prices, they will rip off ur wallet. if u like 2 stars style to save few hundreds go to Thrifty. The mgmt seems to be low budget

Worst car hire experience ever.... Im still waiting for my refund of 3000 Dirhams. Its been more than 50 days and was promised a refund by 30 days. They dont reply to my countless emails

I do not recommend dealing with them at allTwo scammers so far I have spoken for more than two months and the insurance amount has not been returned, 3 thousand dirhams, and my complaint on the site, Twitter and contact is ignored.

Company fraud and fraud and this is clear from the beginning of the receipt of the car !! Where are the airport authorities for them !? Why do not they cancel their services from the airport? Many people who complain about them, took three thousand dirhams from me as a deposit and say they will return after 31 days !!!!!

First they didnt give me the car I reserved, they gave me a yaris with a supposed free upgrade lying to me that it was better than a lancer. Later, when the vehicle returned, they charged me for an alleged non-existent scratch on the vehicle, to which I had no choice but to accept because I did not have time to make the necessary claims because my flight was leaving. Scammers ...

A company is extremely embarrassed by the shame that it is at Dubai airport. The car in the company’s website, for example, 70 dirhams goes to their office 129 in addition to 50 airport taxes on their claim to become the car from 70 to 179.
