Employee was kind of unfriendly . Even as a Sixt diamond member we were Not treated very welcome. I felt like an annoying customer that was not worth his time.The car had a high milage, more than used from Europe. Experience was ok, but next time in dubai i will look for a different rental car company

It was the worst experience with Sixt i’d ever had.I had an experience with Sixt before 2 times in Memmingem and in Wien, all was fine. In February 2020 I had a trip to Dubai, before it I had booked a Mercedes-Benz A250 car for 4 days. When I arrived at The Sixt facility I examined the car, all was fine at first sight I put my signature. In first 5 min of my driving an error appeared on the speed-board that the pressure in the left back wheel is 0.2 less than in the rest wheels. It’s not critical and I decided to drive further and if the pressure descended more I would take the needed actions. At the checking out, I came to the Sixt office and provided the keys to the respective person, and he went to examine the car outside, I was waiting in the office.In 5-10 min he came inside with a grinning smile on his face showing me a photo on his phone: a nail stuck in the wheel...At first I did not understand what is that and than I tried to explain to him that the pressure sensor was popped up on the screen as soon as I take the car and it’s impossible to catch a nail on the highway roads in Dubai. It was intentionally stuck in the wheel. I had to pay for that. You know, it was a deceive. Besides that at the checking in I paid additional money for decreasing my deposit sum cause initially the deposit sum was around 1500$ and it was not mentioned anywhere.

TRULY OUTSTANDING... I rented a Mercedes Benz E300. I did the booking from the Sixt App. When I arrived they already had my information and just needed my passport and drivers license to verify. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. They go over any previous damage on the car. I didnt felt rushed like at other car rental agencies. They quickly went over some traffic laws in Dubai and to watch out for the speed cameras. I will definitely recommend family and friends to Sixt.

No one answer the number provided on the paperwork and in Google. Needed to extend my rental days, but on 8007498 no one answer. Dont rent the GAC GS3 is very uncomfortable and slow.

Stay away from this place !!! THE Indian staff included manager are terrible , the costumers service in this location is 0 . Just philipino lady are ok but the rest I can’t believe how they can operate and work for Sixt company . DONT TRUST not one there , they SCAM the guest , be careful and definitely I don’t recommend it. The car are ok but the staff are not . THEY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION , STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEOPLE .

Highly recommended! Best rental car store in Dubai, energetic and polite customer service giving excellent customer experience. Make the reservation, pick up the car, then return it. Not much paper being thrown around, its been streamlined to electronic.Car is being delivered in front of the store, instead of having to walk to another carpark (like in the airport). I arrived at 8 AM and Im in the car in less than 10 mins. I have tried the different classes and the conditions of the cars feels new and less than 30K km.Keep up the good work!

Dont trust this company. Very creative accounting on how to charge you with everything possible. Even full insurance is not enough not to get ripped by them in processing fees (40%) of the documents they require for that. Well done guys- very sophisticated. Never again. I would give you 0 stars but unfortunately its not possible.

The two stars are an average of four stars for the Car and one star for the Customer Service and Processes.The car was nice, well maintained and fun (an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce). But the Processes and level of Customer Service are more aligned with the low quality local car rentals, than with that of the global brands, which is where Sixt should belong.Everything from the huge amount of paperwork, the high deposit, the difficulties in paying with international cards like American Express, the credit card charges without corresponding invoices, take the enjoyment away from an otherwise exciting inventory of cars.For example, I had to write thrice to ask for a reason for a charge, which I correctly suspected was the Salik tolls. But I still havent received a proper invoice after three weeks, so I cant get the money reimbursed from my company.

Awful place to rent a car, the models are all really used poor with lots of dents the brakes even failed on my first Nissan Sunny, the replacement car once I collected A Mazda was just as bad dents all over it was nervous drove home in the rain and realised no washer fluid came out so my window got smeared and couldn’t see so went home and checked under the bonnet it had no engine coolant, no brake/ power steering fluid the car I returned again to get another Nissan sunny with dents all over and spongy brakes told the car was like that and when I returned the car after a month they try to make out I did more than the allocated mileage allowance! But i had taken a picture to prove I didn’t go over the mileage!

Good luck trying to get your secuirty deposit back. Thought Sixt was an international company but their standards are just like any other local rent a car companies. Almost been a month and a half and still the security deposit has not been refunded.

I agree with Filip, Dont trust this company.Extreme rip off. They take advantage of the tourists unawareness who trust the name.They charged me 10 times more than other companies on traffic ticket processing fees and insurance rates. Unfortunately, Sixt is the worst in UAE.

Ive been using such services many times in different countries but this one is the worst Ive ever had. I dont recommend it to anyone. Charged my card after returning the car saying those are additional fees for police fine (creating the police report after accidental damage of the car with no my fault having full insurance for such incidents [paid on top]) and took another commission for processing this purpose (40% LOL). Its funny and pathetic at the same time. Next time I would rather walk to Abu Dhabi than make any deals with Sixt Car Rental. Stay away from them.

Bad customer service after 1 day the car was not turning on and no one was answering my calls in the hot summer weather .and finally they send a replacement car and charged me at check out for the gas of the broken car .I missed my airpods in the car and kept texting them if they found it and no reply .Stay away .it was my first and last experience with them in Dubai.

We had a technical issue with one of the car we rented. The support from sixt was absolutely not meeting our expectations. We ended up fixing the car ourselves because of the lack of support. Will never rent again with Sixt both for business and leisure purposes...

BE CAREFUL, this branch will steal you especially when they know you are a tourist they will not return your deposit. The managers name is Philip one of the rudest people you will ever meet he literally screams at customers he thinks he is the owner of the company he tried to punch a customer in front of me hope they kick him as soon as possible or he will keep stealing people and act like a mentally twisted person.

I rented an Alfa Romeo Giulia from your company that was picked up on Sheik Zayed Rd agency. The Same car, according to record, was returned at dubai international airport T3 on Tuesday, March 2nd at 4:40am.At the time of return, as it should be, your employee looked around the car (with a flashlight) about 4 times looking for any “damage” that could have been made. He found nothing after going around 4 times, so he handed me the device to sign the return of the car, which I did. From that moment, the car was Sixt’s responsibility and our contract was finalized.Nevertheless, and for my huge surprise (as I am a Sixt client in the USA for years), one of your employees texted me TO MY PERSONAL NUMBER VIA WHATSAPP an hour later saying that he found a “big dent” in the car’s rear door. Somehow he missed the dent after going around the car 4 times when I was present and all of the people that were there missed it too. Moreover he tells me that he decided to take “another look” an hour after and magically he found a big dent.This is not only unprofessional but also makes a company as big as Sixt look bad. I don’t know if you’re the same company as the one in the United States or just a franchise but events like this cannot happen as they violate the rental agreement. I don’t see this happening in America, ever.To my further surprise, today a charge of 200~ United States dollars appeared on the credit card stating “damage compensation”. I gladly accepted every single charge you made after the rental including a traffic fine etc but I am not accepting to pay for a damage that wasn’t in the car at the time of return and that was not signed on the return statement. I sent an email stating this and you didn’t reply... but oh surprise surprise the same employee texted me on WhatsApp again saying he read the email, how unprofessional. I’m still expecting an official reply via an official channel. I will not be using Sixt anymore at least in the UAE

As a loyal (platinum) customer I have never had this poor experience with Sixt. Not met with any recognition or upgrade ”no cars available” - are you telling me there are no other better car?! Poor lies continued even though I challenged this.Car given had small scratches everywhere and interior not properly clean, even though it was just cleaned/washed. Carpets in the car were soaking wet. Not accepting AMEX. Well, if I have had more time I would’ve walked out immediately so take my advise, go with a cheap/better option. Even if you have status.—Update from 1 to 3 star: after complaining to Customer Services they agreed to provide an upgrade but did not offer an apology.

Not recommended at all, worst experience I ever had.I have rented Alpha Romeo car and paid for full insurance then upon delivering the car they noticed minor scratch on the tyre wheel and they wanted to charge me for 4000 AED. They were insisting that should go to the police to get a report on that tyre scratch which doesnt make any sense, then after extensive negotiation it went down to 1400 AED. The Sixt team treated me in rude non-respectful way. Then after all of that painful experience, do you want to hear more? lets talk about the 2500 AED deposit; they promised to return the deposit amount in max 2 weeks, then waited for one complete month with no response from their side until I sent them email and CC every single email exist for Sixt on their global website and finally returned the amount. So as overall , dont waste your time and energy and go for more respectful car rental agency that wont steel your money for no reason.

When I took the car, we found empty bottle in the truck.When I arrived home I check the car inside and in the middle part, there were some dirty tissues and in the back side some old crisps.I have try to call the sheik Zayed branch and speak to a manager when they told me no managers was there for few days and they said they will call me back which they never did.I called again and the same story.I am very upset for the customer service from this branch because no one is calling back and this are not the standards of a world car rental agency.I have rented a car for 2 month before this one but will not rent again from them.Very disappointed by the customer servic.Be careful and check your car before to take it, inside out, especially with COVID and especially when they put the sticker « this car has been sanitised »

As many people have already pointed out, take a full insurance otherwise they will find all the way they can to charge you extra money. I got charged 700 AED for some very light scratch near the underneath of the front bumper that I have never caused it. When I inspected the car at the time of rental, there was no way I would go down that far to check with a flash light. Take a full insurance or go somewhere else. Pointless to talk to the staff who wont be able to understand normal humans like us.

The branch employees are good, & thats as far as the good goes. The company Sixt itself is a totally different matter... They will charge your credit card without any reason. Over & above any charge, theyll charge you another AED 155 as admin fees. In 155 AED it is possible to rent a whole car for a day with unlimited mileage. Extremely disappointed by the companys unprofessional behaviour. Will ensure to tell all my friends never to use SIXT and will make it a point never to use it myself as well. Worst rental experience ever.

My wife visited the Sixt office on Sheikh Zayed Road to collect the prepaid car and unfortunately forgot her credit card at home. The same credit card that was used to book and prepay the car online and the same card that I sent to the office via WhatsApp while she was on site. After leaving her ID documents and other valuable items, we promised to return with the original card as soon as possible. Me being at work and her having to drop off our daughter to school and deal with urgent stuff that came up, we were not able to immediately return and bring the card. While I understand that this not the standard process, I would like to note that there could have been a hundred different ways how to deal with this. The course taken by a gentleman called Philip was to call both me and my wife, shout at us, call us liars and then he hung up on us. I have never been treated that poorly by a customer service representative before. This is surely the last time we will use Sixt for car rentals.

Everything was ok, except that service is mediocre.- When arrive at the office the person who attends me, he even says good morning, even when I was asking him some question, he didnt reply to this till I ask again.- when I received de car by another person, this person doesnt even bother to show me the scratches of the car, he just shows me in broken cellphone the scratches of the car and told me everything is here I will send you by email.- when I returned after 24 hours, the person who took the keys even say hello nothing no nothing just took the keys and when to see the car looking everything even under the car could be more easy if she see the file of the scratches that they send me before, an have a look with the same, trying to charge of scratch in the Windscreen on the driver side, and in the file say that is in the passenger side, and when he checks the passenger side there no scratches so?? why you are trying me to charge me something that is your mistake!

NEVER GO TO SIXT! The following happened now twice to me. I reserved a Jeep Wrangler and when I arrived to the SIXT office, they told me they had no Jeep Wrangler. They then tried to give me another car. What they did now twice to me is that they manage so poorly their office that they do not have the type of car you have booked. They practice over bookings. I called the manager that told me that other customers had extended their booking! Their service is awful and their prices are expensive. DO NOT GO TO SIXT. This is my LAST Experience with SIXT.

Reserved a car online after reading carefully the terms and conditions, based on that rental I sent my own car to the service center.after going to sheikh zayed road branch to pick up my rented car I was surprised with different terms and conditions than what they posted online during my reservation (traffic fine service charge 220AED/fine). Mr.Phillip/Manager said that all those terms are the same as what mentioned during the online reservation , however, we did the booking from his own mobile to see those terms which were absolutely not mentioned. also he tried to argue that this reservation and payment is not an official agreement and only the paper one which they demanded me to sign is the real agreement!!!!. I rejected this contract and requested a refund which they did. now left without a car.

They like to ask money on everything bit by bit but cannot reply to emails. I know its a custom to answer sometimes or not since its hot and slow all year round but if you provide a premium service you should be able to use the reply button faster than usual.

Friendly customer service! Hard to find not many signs to indicate where to pick up the car. Located inside the Mercedes-Benz dealership. Just walk inside and ask for Sixt Rental. Great selection of Mercedes-Benz to rent. Seems well maintained, very clean and new current year models. Great price!

Worst company to rent a car in Dubai. Unreliable and untrustworthy. Make sure every single detail (I mean, even the smallest of the smallest) is reflected in the report on the hand over or they will overcharge you when you return it. Even if the they tell you that is ok, I recommend to put it in the report

Not recommended at all ....😬If you rent a car at SIXT you should take full insurance (which will double the rental price) because if not you can be sure they will find a way to charge you between 1.000 to 5.000 AED.When taking the car you should spend one hour inspecting any small details inside, outside, and even under the car.Do not hesitate to lay down on the floor under the car to double check everything. if they show you the car parked close to another car then ask to move the car somewhere you can really check all.Take minimum 10 or 15 pictures from all sides including the roof, inside the wheels, under the car on all sides, even take picture of the engine.Believe me if not you will have to pay...This what happened to me ... the guy when checking out took a flashflight and inspected under the car which I did not do when checking in. Result 1.050 AED to pay ...Do not also hesitate to add any microscopic scratch or bump or even spots because they will charge you ...Of course, if you do not have one hour for inspecting the car from all side and if you dont want to lay down under cars because of your suit then I strongly recommend that you go to any other rent a car company.Regarding customer service, I dont think it is existing at Sixt UAE.It was the first time I rented at SIXT (usually I go to Hertz or Europcar) ... and this is the last time ...Just a word to the wise ! 😉

Avoid at all costs. They will dupe you into buying full insurance even though the car is already fully insured. It is a scam to up-sell the CDW. When confronted they will try to explain that full insurance is the same. Terrible service and over-priced.

I was given a higher spec car than I ordered, however it was filthy inside. The seats look like they had sweat patches all over them. Also, sixt have ridiculous admin fees if you incur any traffic fines.... Not something that I was aware of when I booked it online

I had booked a 4 seater convertible car. Sixt didnt have one at any of their locations when I went to pick it up. I was there at 8.45am as my booking. They could offer me a 2 seater - difficult for 4 people. Or an upgrade which its called in car rental logic which was a sedan car... They know you have something planed when you rent a car so what can you do... The rental car was fine but not what I had booked and paid extra for vs what I got. No discount or money back...The tires on my rental was so slick that you would get a huge fine by driving with them in Northamerica or Europe. There was no tread on the tires - nothing. Its insane to give this to any client! I have reported this to the police in Dubai and they said the same.

They treated me luxuriously and I had no problem. The truck that I removed was perfect and it was brand new, even the baby seat was perfect. Highly recommended !!

A bunch of crooks. I returned the vehicle without damage. The person asked me for 20eu in cash for a so-called striped hubcap. I have to pay immediately otherwise the deposit will go up. When I returned to France, they made me jump 450eu deposit, a real scandal. Thank you to Madame Le Roux for responding to my emails.
