They keep you wait for long time and each costumer stays for 45- 1 hour with the costumer service no joke.The branch manager is a good person and he’s trying to help but the stuff behind the computer literally not moving at all

**UPDATE**As i have been dealing with this particular branch and it is literally the worst branch ever. There is only one person in customer service and she is taking a lot of time per customer. Its alomst one hour and still 10 people are in the queue before me. The branch manager doesnt care at all.Please never never ever try to deal with this branch. It also has some special number system for some people. They will skip the queue. Literally this is happening.Very bad service for such a huge reputable bank.

Awful service. Waited for 2 hours for my number, 2 out of 4 counters were working, while one of them was occupied by one customer for more that 1 hour. The second operating counter lady disappeared at some point in time. Complaints to a branch manager lady dont have any sense, justifications are ridiculous. After this experience I am changing my bank without hesitation.

You wait for all long day to get to the counter and they will tell you drop your contact they will contact you which they won’t ever. Dib moe branch, the customer service guy asks my friend to come another day to apply for a Cheque book after waiting in the queue for an hour and did not take the request the same time. Today he is here and is now waiting in the queue and can see the staff busy on their phones instead of taking the customers and this is for an hour with only two people taking customers and that is also slow service. One lady here went out twice for 20 minutes in one hour. Pathetic service. Would not like to give even one star here.

This is the worst bank in UAE. I don’t know how come one of the oldest and biggest banks, in terms of reported combined net profit, in UAE has such really horrible terrible customer services.They are charging 105 AED for cashing the cheques over tellers’ services. I almost literally visited the bank with our company authorized signatory over 10 times to submit a letter authorizing me to cash the cheques to avoid the charges. Eventually it is still not done till the date of this review.I tried also to open a bank account for our business; we filled up the forums and submitted required documents yet the customer service agent failed to complete the transaction and eventually when we visited for follow up they told us that the customer service agent has been transferred to another branch and for business account you need to go to main branch in Deira!I can tell that the waiting time is longer than 50 min at rush hours and almost the same at regular hours.

Today, I experienced the most Racist,Lazy, and unprofessional behaviour ever at Dubai Islamic Bank Barsha Mall.After waiting for over 2 hours ,Just to open an Account . I was first asked my nationality with a frown face as though I was a stug!Note that I have tried to no avail to open it online. Even costumer service is a mess. Ask me to go the branch.She was talking to me and playing with her phone the whole time. Carrying her nose up and rolling her eye.I gave her my automated certificate salary certificate with sign and stamp but she refused. She was not even ready to hear any explanation from me .Even if it is her father that owned the entire UAE, she isnt suppose to interact with humans ,Not to talk to working in a bank. Its very shameful.She is a stain to the entire banking profession amd a disgrace to Dubai Islamic Bank.This Bank should close down...! SERIOUSLY. Its a waste of peoples precious time .

Over 1h of queue to get serve. Half of the staff are on the phone pretending to working while so many people are waiting. Very bad service. After 1h30 of waiting I got told I went to the wrong place. I got given a ticket to wait but the lady at the reception should know I could not get what I needed and tell me where to go directly.

My God! This is the worst branch of Dubai Islamic Branch in entire UAE. Imagine to deposit a money to teller will make you wait for two hours just because they only have one teller out of 3 counters everyday! Please fix this branch, I’ve seen a lot of negative comments here and nothing have changed!!! We have also other things to do, your company must hire if you don’t have enough manpower! The entire team are all slow, all looks sleepy and tired but they opened only at 10AM, I came at 130PM! Imagine your team are not working efficiently and no energy for only 3hrs of working!!!! What kind of standards your bank requires to hire people? Or just referrals from family and friends regardless if they can perform or no!?! Do assessment and try to change the mentality of all your team in this branch!!!! Btw, I left the bank 3:27 PM!!!!!

Worst bank service ever had in my life!Zero recommendation....When i was opening the DIB bank account i thought this an one of the most effective bank in dubai.Proving me myself wrong, i had the most irritating incident with this bank.First thing, when i was in hospital trying use my atm card didnt work saying transactions declined. I was so helpless that time to find cash and there was no branch open that time. How dare a bank just stop a transaction without informing their customer. If any issues in the bank account someone has to call the costomer and infrom them . That is basic of customer service. Speacilly when bank dealing with customers money.Then i called call centre and they told me i can go to ANY BRANCH and have to update my passport n visa details in my account .then i went to dubai mall branch and they said you can not do it here.and i had to wait in que and get money manually and the lady issuing money had a big attitude. She only said u can not take money . She doeant even care to explain me why i cant take money . Regardless the service, as a human being human has to be kind to one another and humble when somone come towards you seeking for a help. i spoke with manager there. He said this is the last time that i can withdraw money and should use my atm. And said it needs to be done by a branch which is out of malls. Apparently DIB staff dont really care about their customers . I felt that on the first dayI do not undestand their theory. As a customer any branch is same .Then i went to business bay branch where i got so annoyed . When i was trying to get a coupon the security said i can not update bank account here and should go to al quoz branch . Which makes no sense.!!!!When i said i wanna speak to manager and he let me go to agent and update the details. The lady sitting there on 26th feb around 11am took my passport visa and emirates ID and updated the details and said after 3 hrs i can use my atm. I checked that aftr 4 hrs And AFTER 4DAYS. STILL I CANT USE MY ATM.I can see how irresponsible this bank is and how they waste customers time.Later i went to emirates mall branch.The staff is not helpfull at all . I wonder how they get customers with this attitude. i spoke with manager there and explained my situation. He said this is the last time that i can withdraw money and should use my atm.Then i said i already updated those in businessbay bank and i have done my part. Its bank s fault not do do that simple thing properly .I have no help from anyone. So i called the contact centre today and lodged a complaint. They they someon will get back to me on 3 to 4 working days. And he also mentioned that passport details n KYC form n Emirates ID is updated . Bt Only the expiry date of emirates id is not updated . How can they just b this irresistible. ?Am still waiting here as a poor lady till someone is getting back to me .I cant take my own money whever i want. What if i had an emergency?No one took any initiative or ownership to do this smiple 2mins task for me as bankersI have been wasting my time for one month for this .Such a poor customer service in DIB and shame on such local bank in a well developed country like dubai.

Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest rating I can give them because it feels generous after the service I just received.I needed to deposit money into the Dubai Islamic Bank atm. I requested them to break a 100 hiram note but they wouldnt because I dont hold an account in the bank. I was asked to use the teller instead to deposit some money. They then made me wait for almost half an hour until I finally decided to go to the next shop, get the change I needed and deposited the money in the atm in less than 5 mins.I then walked up to the teller to let them know how bad their service was (politely of course) and also reiterate that the sign for Quick Service was misleading given that it was neither service that was offered and nor was it quick. They wasted so much of my time and sadly noone cared. What made this worse is that there were 2 other clients who went through the same experience right before I did.It is truly pitiful that these entities get away with such a poor attitude towards clients. If my review counts for anything then I strongly advice that people avoid dealing with Dubai Islamic Bank if it can be avoided. The very thought of ever dealing with them for anything again makes me cringe.

I have read the reviews before visiting the branch and wasnt feeling happy about it as most of my fellow guides or DIB Barsha branch customers are talking their heart out guiding what to expect in here.Talking the chance Since it was the only branch near by to me and had no options at all and being optimistic I thought these posts are mostly a year old and hopefully things must have been changed by now well surprise...surprise they are worstThe token machine is nightmare dont know how many girls have broken their nails on it trying to enter the phone number even there were two tokens ahead of me still have to wait for 25mins. Even the que system was showing 4 counters serving but no there wasnt more then two last but not the least was the attitude of the representative as if didnt got the salary in ages.Avoid if can 😔 (Ras al Khor branch isnt any different) the security guard gives you more banking suggestions for your problems then the representative as he is the one attend all CS trainings.

I have not personally banked with this bank - but have gone though all the pains with my husband who had a car loan with them...and let me tell you...if you have high blood pressure or a cardiac problems, steer clear!My minimal knowledge of banking is still more than the rude and basically useless service consultants possesses. The advise they offer is so obviously wrong but alas the frail egos refuses to let common sense see the day of light.It has taken us more than two weeks to get the loan settled. Mainly because after the instruction was given two different people tried to contact us and convince us not to do an early settlement. After we insisted this is what we wanted they said they would go ahead - a week later nobody did anything.Then after another round of wrong instructions and money being placed in incorrect accounts because they insisted this is how it is supposed to be done...finally we have sorted it out. Thankfully we didn’t listen to the last lady! (At Al Barsha Branch)*the one star I give is to the bank manager at Al Barsha mall branch - he at least could give us correct directions with confidence. Would be great if his staff could be on the same level as him.

I am here to update my information on system. Now its one hour and 10 minutes. Still waiting. I met manager but can not find any of his intention to help me. Extremely weak customer services and very bad experience. Organisations are now a days working hard to provide exceptional customer services but here it seems that they do not care about customers. There is no option to give zero star else I would have given it. Complete waste of my precious time of life. Even I can not do this updating by sending documents by my official email. Such a weak efficiency.

I have stopped visiting this branch after a series of bad experiences. Cutover service is terrible. A small transaction which normally requires 5,10 minutes maximum will end up im hours. Can you Imagine, I was refused to withdraw money from my own bank account having Valid EID with me.!!!!!. Mostly staff is busy in chat and using cell phones. Not recommended at all.

I am living in dubai for last 16 years but DIB is the worst bank I ever came across. Using islamic name and cheating clients with mistakes from back office. Call centre Staff is so rude. My guarantee cheque for car loan was incashed and filed case against me even I had been paying my installments regularly for four months. Please avoid DIB for car loans as bank is full of mistakes and errors and you will suffer in the end as they never accept mistakes.

Very bad experience in Al Barsha Branch never happens like that took 1 hour to update my passport renewal information. And still panding i dont know she will do or not Because i was very late due to delay by customer service then she said wait only 2 minutes I keep patient then it took again 15 minutes then i cant stop my self i request to please give me back my passport and emirates id ...while register my passport details the attitude was not good she said write your number on the paid when i start writing then she said what you are doing my mouse is not working then she stop one system and took ma to another again log in and waste my time...

Employees are always on the phone , taking ages with every client and then need 10 minutes after every client to call the next number .. even the fast track service is slow! To be honest I gave up to use their services, they dont know the regulations which cause my application to be rejected in the first place then they said i brought wrong docs, i went there every day for a week and they requested a new document every single day which were ridiculous.So i visited their mall of the emirate branch, now the funny part is that they said no the first documents were correct and i explained what had happen and their response was we cant do it go the first branch which at that point i gave up and said im better off. For god sake it is a savings account

Dont ever come here for a customer service. They have four cubicles for customer service, but only one is working. The one who is workings keeps walking around and leaving the customer behind. while the guy is just sitting on his table and doing nothing. Worst ever. Almost an hour now, they cannot even finish one customer. I regret coming to this place. So for those people who wanted to visit DIB on this branch. No no no. Find another branch that treats their customers and gives them importance.

I try to call dib al barsha branch for first the man answer me and inform to transfer the call with the representative but I waste time no one answer and I tried to call again this man who answer 3times before and told me to transfer the call he never answer again. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Inexperienced staff. Took more than 6 weeks to do a buy out. The staff took too long to process the application and so documents would expire and would request me I’ve and over to resubmit. Unprofessional, don’t waste your time and go to another branch.

I call the customer hotline to ask until what time i can open an account to this branch customer service told me its until 9pm so that i rush going to the branch i reach at 7:28PM i wait for couple of minutes then suddenly telling me that they cannot open me an account because there is no time and come back tomorrow..l suggest that if cannot assist the customer for opening a new account better to tell on the first place and not giving a token number to wait..Wasting of time and effort
