I wouldn’t even give it one star but it’s the lowest I can give. Shocking customer service!! I won an Instagram competition for al maya which had no time limit on it and they refused to let me use it even though they had been closed for summer! I don’t think it would have done them any harm to honor it, it was very poorly handled and customer service was the worst in Abu Dhabi.

Had so much Fun👍🙌 Staffs are very accommodating. Right from Port Area. Mr. Kind Man waited for us as he saw us coming from the taxi. Late for 5 minutes. Food, I can say 3 stars but go for the Seafood grill very tasty and fresh! Over all we are happy and We enjoyed! God bless to all staffs🙏🙌

Away from everything, surrounded by the actual sea. Has a huge pool and a Jacuzzi. Very relaxing environment and these days the day pass charges are very reasonable. Food in the dining restaurant is bit expensive but taste good. Pool bar is very average especially their mocktails. Overall very relaxing place.

Not allowed to bring own snacks which is literally the only negative thing. Menu has lovely food options but kids wanted snacks.First boat ride back is at 3h30 which was not busy, 6h30 boat trip back was very busy, had to wait for a boat. Plan for 5h30 or 7h30.Great day out.

Al Maya Island & Resort is truly a beautiful place to just kick back and relax.Its only a 10-15 minute boat ride from the mainland and in addition to the beautiful scenery, several dozen deer can be seen roaming around, grazing peacefully.All in all, a definite must on your list of places to visit.

It’s simply splendid...😻😻😻 I always love the concept of having the best of both worlds - the beach and the pool. Highly recommended place for family and friends bonding. The space is wide, social distancing is not hard to observe at all. It was well maintained and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. It was just sad that jetski and kayaking was not available when we went. But overall, it was a very great experience 😺

Very relaxing family beach and pool area. The service is solid and the facilities well kept. Some of the prices are increasing and the 25 dirhams for bottle water seems like highway robbery, but overall a nice day out.

This beautiful ,clean and peaceful island is based in Abu Dhabi and its a must visit place!🤩I have been visited during the week, came early in the morning, and felt in love with Maya Island. The stuff were very friendly, great hospitality and services, delicious food and nice mocktails🍹 You can reserve your place in advance, the price is great, basically you can spend the entrance price on food and drinks. There a beautiful swimming pool, jacuzzi, and you can play volleyball with your friends!🤩 Great experience,thank you Maya Island!🤗

Went there on a Friday (only above 21s allowed), was awesome. Had a few too many and forgot to take my beach towel, wallet, hat, and slides with me when leaving in the evening, it all has been found on the next day. Great service!

Be prepared to be harassed by the locals if you are a white female.

Below-average beach and the restaurant still serves in paper plates and plastic glasses. But overall great atmosphere, well organized boat trips from Abu Dhabi, temperature-controlled pools, decent food and great price if you can catch their deals.

The boat trip to the island is very Nice we have enjoyed the view all the way long, once we arrive to the island we start enjoying the view of the beautiful beach and the island facilities.The pool was so nice I like it very much it is just a perfect place to beat the heat 🔥🔥🔥The restaurant was very nice as well and the meals were delicious 😋The beach looks very beautiful however the water wasn’t that much clean ☹️ therefore a few people were swimming in the sea 🌊The island have a beach volleyball court 🏐 that would be nice to use in cool weather 🌤Over all the experience is amazing and it is highly recommended 👌

Very relaxing island just 15Minutes boat ride of the coast of abu dhabi. This island left me speechless, as it has to menone of my top things to due in Abu dhabi. Their lots of drinks, food and even dears roaming around the island. At 50 aed per person, it worth every durham spent on the island

Very nice city escape with nice, but crowded pool, beach and full food and beverages facilities. The boat trip from docks is one of the best part of the deal and gives a close look of the small islands facing the presidential palace

Very nice place to spend the day. We had the boat from 10.00 and had breakfast in the restaurant. There were no other visitors this day. Nobody else in the swimming pool or on the beach. All to do with the corona virus. But everywhere they supplied gloves, desinfectance and masks. Swimmingpool and beach were very clean and is was a pleasure to stay in the water. Even if the swimming pool water was a bit to warm.I think they should take care for some shading above the pool and jacuzzi to make it all perfect.

This is the best place I have visited in UAE.I love the beach and the pools and the Island is awesome 👌 we have to go by speed boat 15 mts from the jetty area near presidential Palace. The ticket day pass is 199 but book online its 105 and 50 back for few days.So best time to visit the Island.Food not allowed strictly.All the umbrellas are free and every thing included in 105 the transport.Best this is the pool is warm water temperature maintained.I really enjoyed the place so relaxing.The pool bar is not serving in the pool as of now due to covid. Beautiful resort on the Island near to Abu Dhabi.No need PCR test.

Pretty average. The dock isnt hard to find. The boat ride is short and comfy. The pool is great; its big and cold! You get to choose where you want to sit. You can get a table, chairs, canopy bed, and deck chairs for your group. BUT, the beach is tiny, the water has alot of seaweed, and worst of all, the restaurant is overpriced and the food is TERRIBLE. I ordered the Angus burger cooked to medium only, but I got a dry over cooked burger with a sad cheese slice and tomato. No flavor, no juice in the burger.

One of the best place to spent your weekend open pool for everyone even you will find a place for volleyball. Prices are really good 5 bottles of beer you will get in 99 aed nd 5 cans of redbull in 120 aed for etihad staff entry is free before 2 pm and they will get a discount also however if you purchase a ticket of 200 aed you will get back a voucher of 100 aed and you can use it at the bar.

We had a magnificent time with family, definitely the place where we go back! Lovely boat trip, excellent service, great beach side.

This was our first daycation after the Covid outbreak and we wanted to have a really nice holiday feeling. I choosed Al Maya because its an island and we had to take the ferry, which just improves this. We went on sunday, which is ladies day, so i didnt actually payed any entry, just 100 AED, which i got back as F&B voucher. For my hubby it was 200 AED, got back 150 as voucher. With their offers it is great value for money. Since we still have the pandemic rules and regulations, it was almoust empty, everywhere there were sanitary pods with masks and gloves. We wanted actually to take loungers on the beach and enjoy the sea, but it was our first visit there, so we didnt know, they have these really huge and ugly hoses in the water. They were disturbing us enorm, so we desided to take a cabana on the pool side. The pools were open, but another disappointment for us was, that the bar in the pool was closed. Only the main one was open. The staff was very attendive and friendly. So we had really pleasant day out, but i dont think, we will come back, because of the beach, which is for us more important then a pool.

A great destination to get away, have fun and chill!Went on Monday 3rd August 2020 and took the 10 AM boat.Although we reached just as one boat was leaving, they sent us immediately on the next boat despite only 4 passengers being present.The ticket fee was reasonable considering they give you 150 AED back as vouchers that can be used for food and beverages.The boat ride was enjoyable and not too long.The place in general was well maintained and clean and the staff members were friendly and kind. They were even understanding when my vouchers got soaked in water and were almost completely washed out.The food was not special. It was just enough to fill a hungry stomach. We ordered nachos with chicken topping and a pizza.The nachos were ok, though the topping was not generous and the chicken pieces were there just for decoration. As for the pizza, the gentleman was kind enough to take an order for us of a pizza with two different halves while keeping the price of the cheaper topping. Taste wise, it wasnt that good. There wasnt much of a flavor to enjoy.The swimming pool is big and spacious and has three parts. One deep and two shallow, allowing for enough space to chill. Theres also a separate small childrens pool. And a jakuzi in the ground.There are clean changing rooms with lockers, showers and toilets, but the showers were locked for the time being.The beach was clear and nice, although the swimming area was very limited and the rope line was close to the shore.Overall its a fun place to go with family and friends. And would make a nice venue for events.
