Orient isurance is the one of worst insurance in UAE.Yesterday 05-6-2021, they waste alot of time for claim approval. they always blame on delay in response from Dr, which is absolutely wrong.I will submit a complain to my Company as well so that they can avoid this company next time .I would say, if patient dies this company dont care,,,, they create alot of dramas,,,,, I would request everyone to avoid this orient insurance company.

Really not supportive and not user friendly... For approval they are asking for many documents from the clinics or hospital. They are saying its covered but they rejected all the lab approvals and continuously asking for documents and giving headaches to the doctors and us ...i was waiting for approval last 4 days. Doctor also continuously submitted documents but still asking for documents.Disappointed.

The service is really bad, I have my baby insurance created under Orient Insurance PJSC, I got the insurance in January and for some reason should have to consult a doctor in March month, when I visited the clinic the receptionist told me that the insurance is suspended. When I called customer care no one responded to me on that day. After reaching out to the relevant supplier (who created this insurance for me) he told me that the insurance is suspended and no reason mentioned so it is escalated but no feedback was found from the last 5-6days. This is the worst service I have ever found in my UAE journey.

I dont know whether I took a right decision or not by purchasing insurance from them. I had claiming issue in the clinic. When I rang the insurance provider they say I have coverage but in clinic they said I dont have and my claims got rejected.. I have no idea who to believe 🤷

Worse service . Call centere never answers phone calls even you keep on hold for a day and call back request were never responded . Requested for a online renewel link and that too was not responded . Waste of time , money and effort .

This is the worst insurance I v ever had during 10 years in UAE!!! Bought insurance for child, paid double price to declare preterm case and now they reject all doctors follow up visits due to exclusions. This is nonsense, to take money for exclusions declaration and now reject every consultation !!! I would say this is cheating on clients.I would never recommend this insurance to any friend or company!

Please dont go with Orient Nextcare medical insurance. I had the worst experience. Even though 3 scans are covered under maternity, insurance did not approve request for 20 weeks scan. I had to call them many times and explain and finally approved my request. Now again they are not approving GTT test which is mandatory for all pregnant women as there is a high risk of gestational diabetes. My doctor gave all the required details still Nextcare insurance provided by Orient is not approving my request. Please dont buy this insurance. They will make you go through hell. Really sad.

Worse experience ever!!! My mother who had a heart procedure had to suffer and wait 8hrs in the hospital after discharge before their approval and even then we had to pay out of pocket. I will make sure my parents and any other friends I know cancel their plans after this.

Pathetic health insurance. First they have no way of renewing the insurance policy online and once you try to do it online, it shows no record found. I finally called the call centre and after long time of waiting and dialing a couple of times, I finally got an answer to go through an insurance broker. When I renewed even long before the policy end date, I was issued a new policy number which now gives them and their pathetic nextcare another reason for rejecting any claims. When contacted, they say that since its a new policy, it has a waiting period of 6 months. When visa number, emirates ID and all documents are the same, how could they issue a new policy instead of renewing the old? There is no courtesy and even simple tests like a CBC is rejected by their provider citing the same reason.This insurance is only good for renewing family visa. Apart from that, there are absolutely zero benefits.In my experience, this insurance is only good for buying panadol that you can anyways buy from a grocery store.

I do NOT recommend this insurance for anyone. Even if it’s cheap they are not capable of handling simple reimbursement claims that were caused by multiple doctors visits and invoices related to the same emergency case. If you as their customers visit the same clinic for follow up procedures that you used for the emergency, this insurance does not cover that!?? You need to see another doctor as per their policy and start everything from beginning + extra paperwork and other policies. Really inconvenient. One star only for quick response from the customer service unit.

The worse experience called them multiple times was put on hold for 15 minutes with no response, I hope you realise that the person on the other end is a sick person who need help on urgent basis to visit the hospital. If you cannot cannot answer the phone you need to hire more staff.Would never recommend them to anyone👎VERY POOR SERVICE

Their Nextcare insurance is useless! Worst experience with a any of the insurance company in UAE!Need to wait 5 days to get an approval for an MRI. Need to wait more than 1 hour to get cold and fever medicines. All pharmacies in UAE knows about it. You need to call them at least 3 times to follow up and get the approval.No words to explain useless experience I got with this insurance. You will be able to see rating from the Google reviews as well. I will tell everyone I meet about bad experiences I had with this worse insurance company.

I hardly ever write a negative review, however this time I could not let it go.I tried to renew 6 insurances and after 2 weeks on calling basically daily not once did I get call. I ended giving up. The reception once had the audacity to hang up when I requested to speak to a Manager in the office(23rd August). The last call (today) when I told them that I would not renew the insurance because it was more that 2 weeks and now all the insurances had expired she stated thats ok . Clearly customer service here is not there best. I have worked with Oman Insurance - Bupa / Aetna / Axa, etc. and never had such a bad experience I would not recommend this insurance company. Lets not even go to the part of claiming, nothing is ever covered. Everything comes rejected and you must refute it to be able to get whats yours by right.

I am really dismayed by how I was treated today about my inquiry over the phone with your so called professional consultants. I called many times to seek assistance about my medical insurance (simple inquiry to link my insurance to my Emirates ID) but I was not assisted properly. I talked to 4 different people the whole day and got nowhere, no answer to my question. It is really unprofessional to be passed on by different people and yet got no assistance on a simple enquiry. Is this really how you do business? I will not wonder why your ratings are really poor online, it really reflects how I experienced your customer service today! Never we will recommend your company to anyone.

Orient suspended/canceled my sons insurance and I only found out when we were at the hospital and he is very sick and they the hospital wont accept my son. I then called Orient hotline and they said that his insurance shouldnt have been approved at all and Ill get a full refund. But my broker is saying I must fill up a cancellation form with something stating that I am requesting it to be canceled and that I am liable for any claims and they are saying Orient is the one requesting this in order to process the refund. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional from both Orient and the Broker and in my sons expense.

Very bad experience. Was calling to activate the health insurance and you won’t believe why they said... it’s lunch time please call later... then why do you have a call center to pick up calls if people are eating lunch... it really doesn’t make sense... would definitely change my insurance.

Catastrophic!! This insurance does not reimburse anything ... it refuses everything. She had agreed to care for me and then rejected everything. I had to pay 4000 Aed out of my pocket.Unreachable and incompetent. They are simply thieves. Avoid this insurance for you and your family because you are in great danger in the event of a major health problem: it will never pay.It’s shameful that she can still exercise in 2020.
