I have a car insurance policy from them and have been a loyal customer for about 4 yrs now. For the current policy they didnt add the rent a car option. To add it from the middle of the policy they are asking for an amount plus the rent a car cant be used from current claim, only next claim onwards. Then why pay the amount?? I am surprised by this ridicilous process. When the car goes to garage for repairing it easily takes a week or more. Its so important to have a rent car option which is a basic need. They should be more flexible in such times. Wont renew with them.

Very bad service. I had premium insurance for my land cruiser. It was hit by another vehicle, rsa took my vehicle to some cheap KM garage and they ruined my car. They installed damaged side view mirror of some other car and installed fake tail lights. None of the parts installed were genuine. Didnt expect this kind of response from RSA eventhough having a premium comprehensive insurance

I noticed that my bike was hit inside the parking on Monday 9th August, I opened a police report and thats when it all started with RSA!Since that day I am running after the insurance company, where they informed me that I will have to fix it at their approved garage, I sent the bike there on Saturday 14th, and then went personally to check if they finished the quotation on 15th and they confirmed that they did, After that I took my bike to my preferred garage to have another opinion and quotation and they provided me with that.For over 10 days I am on the phone and email everyday not less than 10 timrs... where every day they say tomorrow we will get back to you, and during all this time my bike is just sitting there with no one working on it.After all of this waste of time I hear back from RSA last week that their Maximum liability is 3,500 AED! that they will transfer to my account and I can fix it at my preferred garage! which is not even enough to fix the slightest issues with the bike caused by the person who hit my bike.... keeping in mind its a harley davidsom fatboy not a delivery bike.This was by far the worst and most unprofeasional experience I ever had in my life dealing with any company not just an insurance company where you dont have feedback over the phone or on the email.

Very disappointed , couldnt renew my policy . Called during working hours , i was told to call back on Sunday as all seniors are on leave and my policy needs approval.Called AXA and bought a insurance within 10 mins , thats called professionalism at customer service .

Below is the list of issues with the Body shop Performance Tunning (Non agency repair under RSA) after keeping my car for 16 days.First thing, it was very strange the advisor was not ready to listen to the issues & take a note of it.First time I came to know that they going to replace the damaged parts with used ones from the local market.No update on the vehicle readiness.Advisor did not explain anything regarding the work done on the car and parts replaced.Steering wheel was off-center and when I mentioned while collecting the car, the advisor says Car was tested by Mechanic and is Ok and he will call me back after 2 days.Rubbing noise in the front wheel was still there after keeping the car for 16days.The bearing, he mentioned was ordered from Germany was not listed in the hidden Job Card (happen to see while signing the satisfaction survey report, where you are given no time to see the documents).When I asked the advisor to give me the details of the work done , answer is the insurance company will send, which is not received till date.Again I had to take my Car to VW service center to check whether the Car is ok because I drive regularly to Abu Dhabi.U cant trust them AT ALL, because every phone call you listen to a new story.

Extremely poor customer service! The managers are never available when a customer wants to complain. They never call back either. Had more than 30 cars insured with them over several years and lately have been facing “very poor” customer. Will not recommend anyone RSA to anyone!

Very good insurance company I always renew my motorcycle insurance there. One thing I would like to see in the future which is dedicated parking for RSA customers.I always suffer to find even paid parking note that all other insurance companies have free parking dedicated for their customers.

Had a minor accident front bumper, light and tyre suspension damaged. Car wad towed and sent to make repairs in a reputable garage in no time. Claim raised stress free. Costumer service were very professional and helpful. Definitely recommend this insurance company.

I Insured my own personal cars with you through a broker & l had an accident rear bumper which is not my fault! Till today i am confused!Unfortunately today I tried to renew my car insurance without avail during the last two days! Ms.jeana the office secretary said you could not! I asked why! She said your file is blocked by your broker! I said simply i am trying to renew! Actually in my country no one knows who is really managing the insurance industry! My experience with RSA has not been very good as it has been just one week I am dealing with their tantrums already. I cant provide NCD proof for last four years because I just bought the car last year. Since one week I am driving around only to know that my insurance is not active.I have paid a premium to you already since other companies are quoting better plans and relatively economics.And the process of cancellation is so tedious that I am paying more to activate the insurance. One star is for the courtesy your employee showed while discussing the mess.

Made a no fault claim after 20 years no claim (2 cars). Summary go to Axa Insurance, cheaper, better cover (replacement car), and visitor non UAE licence holders covered. RSA offers none of this. The tediousness of the RSA claims management process is too tiring to list here, just shop around on renewal, and dont be a twenty year fool like me!

I got disappointed about how long procedure to do with the renewal and their is a problem between the brokerage and the insurance company, hasn’t to do anything with me, they kept me on hold for 72 hours just to solve the issue between themselves, RSA is procedures are getting longer, complicated. I unfortunately have no other options than to register a complaint with the Insurance authority in UAE. It’s day light robbery on the home insurance sold by RSA via Najm care. Had RSA Insurance for my car for one year (cant remember if i had them previously anytime for my 10 year old car). Firstly they provided me Comprehensive Insurance with a very good car value at a very competitive premium price. Unfortunately the car was involved in an accident including Public property damage as well as car damage. Car repair costs were estimated to be very high and hence the car was written off. As a customer i got the insured value as per policy (minus the depreciation costs) + the Municipality fine charges. Whole process from raising a claim to receiving funds in account took around 25 days. Yes there was some delay in the registering of claim for property damage but it can be ignored considering the above time period for such claims. There were times when Technical Team who makes decision on claims doesn’t respond on emails or phone but constant followup eventually did the trick. Overall happy and do recommend RSA but i would request the RSA team to improve on the communication to the Customer. Thank you and look forward dealing with you again ( unsure how i will be dealt with when i approach them for a new policy... higher premium??)Special Thanks to George V, Ahmed KP and CS Team - Reynaldo, Coutinho, Garry

Terrible service. I broke down and guys helped me push car into carpark. They said because im near a workshop......even though not my workshop, its no longer an emergency, so no tow. Essentially saying just take my car to the workshop next to me!!!Quoting small print is fair enough, but this is 3 cars now off RSA books, because I will not entertain them again.11/10/2020I have emailed you and will await a response and voice what the solution from your end is for this bad service!

Worst experience I ever had in my life, they do not even deserve 1star. Why? well Where do I start.......at this time I am on hold to speak to someone for 54min.The reason I need to talk to them is that I trusted them to renew my insurance online. The price was approx the same as last year so I simply renewed and paid the fees.Today, with a broken car I realise that the renewal was the same price but they have removed services that the year before was included. This way they scam you in giving the same price but in reality they have increased the rate by 20 to 30PCT.I just passed the 1 hour holding on the phone. Still no one to answer me.If you consider doing business with them, please for your sake or the sake of your loved ones, consider again.

Agree 100% with the most recent reviewers. I wish Id seen these reviews before buying an insurance policy from RSA. Worst customer service I have ever come across in any company / industry, RSA is an insult to Dubais bid to be the happiest city in the world. Dont bother calling 800 774 because no one ever answers. Dont bother visiting their offices on the Ground floor of Burj Al Salam because you will find the two most non caring and rude women you will ever come across attending to claims. My advise to anyone insured by RSA is repair your car yourself regardless of the magnitude of damage because a single claim with RSA will age you a few years and its just not worth it.Edit: Considering the company responded to my review 6 months later, I have no doubt in my mind that they actually do not care about their levels of service.

Excellent customer service and excellent insurance prices if you have no claims for a couple of years. I was buying a car and they gave me a a very good rate as I had a car insured with them for 3 years without any claims , I purchased the insurance from them and they sent it to RTA to enable me to transfer the car , unfortunately the sale didn‘t go through and I didn‘t buy the car , I sent them and they advised that normally they have to discount an amount from the insurance value before refund since they already sent the insurance document to RTA but they told me we will try our best to not discount any amount and they did , they refunded me the amount in full . Special thanks to Shahid that followed up with me and replied to me instantly for any request I sent, he was extremely helpful and special thanks to the management for refunding my full amount without any penalty.

I’ve given the car for repair to their “trusted garage” and instead of just fixing my bumper I got the half car stupidly colored. Because KM garage hit it. After that they colored half car with not matching color with million dots. Till now RSA didn’t take any actions to meet my complaint. Don’t ever deal with it!!!!!! Totally unprofessional!

They would give you unreasonable estimate that would barely cover fixing your car and when you ask for a breakdown they tell you this is what it is and dont reply back with any breakdown or anything at. Im so unpleased with the service, I was in the Emirates Group Headquaters where they have 1 open office and they dont know how to tldo their job.I needed to extend my insurance and they couldnt finish because it was done by the broker, so they sent email to the broker apperentally and told me I have to wait up to 3 hours, after I called the broker to reply back, they said they didnt receive any email.I called broker and gave the guy a phone who works in the RSA and they talked and he said to wait still and told me off.After 3 hours I called RSA and now one of colleagues told me that he will finish it just for me to reply to his email and he will try to do it but its late, they are closing.All I can say, everything in Dubai is like this, I dont know why 50% of workers get their salaries!

I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (Middle East)*TIMELINE OF EVENTS*Friday 6.30am on the 10th January 2020, my automobile had broken down on the side of the road, due to Dubai floods. No one from RSA answered any calls on this day. So much for 24 hour road side assistance on my policy !Saturday ~ 11th January 2020 again I contacted RSA to assist me with my breakdown. I spent over 6 hours on the phone back and forth to RSA motor insurance and Road Side Recovery assistance. Every single RSA phone adviser gave me conflicting information. I’ve never been so confused about car insurance procedures in my entire life. At 5pm offices closed and no progress, no call back regarding road side assistance.Around 10am Sunday 12th January 2020 I called RSA again and finally after complaining I received a call from RSA road side assistance.11am I met with the RSA road side assistance driver, he informs me he can’t take my car to the repair workshop in Al Quoz (recommended to me by one RSA phone representative), and to the police station, without paying extra money. So again I waste more time (over 30 mins), calling RSA to try to resolve the issue. Finally I was informed by an RSA service representative to take my car to Al Barsha police station Dubai to obtain a police report. Then onto Dubai Investment Park for the repairs.12 noon, we arrive at Al Barsha police station Dubai and I wait another hour at Al Barsha police station with my car on the tow truck and the driver waiting patiently at the police station car park whilst I go through the procedure to obtain a police report. I finally receive the police report.It’s 1pm and we proceed to travel onto Dubai Investment Park for the repairs. *Note: I was advised to pay for extra road side assistance time/travel. The RSA road side assistance driver asked for Dhs 150 payment in cash. What if I didn’t have cash? Then what ?*ALSO NOTE : I requested the for the RSA phone representative to forward me the exact address for the service repair shop, which she failed to do.By this time it’s 2pm ... 3 hours after meeting with the RSA road side assistance, where my vehicle sat after breakdown for 2 days.2pm we arrive at Dubai Investment Park with the road side assistance in tow, we discovered we’ve been sent to the wrong address as there was no workshop anywhere to be found.So yet again I attempt to call RSA and it was clearly impossible to speak directly to someone as the waiting time for calls took well over 30 mins to get through, so I proceeded to call the manager of the service repairs workshop.He informed me it’s not Dubai Investment Park, it’sin Dubai Industrial City !So I travel yet another 30 minutes drive, with the road side assistance truck in tow and head to Dubai Industrial City.Around 2.30 pm we arrive at Dubai Industrial City. Only to be told by the body shop service advisor, that we are at the wrong address for vehicles affected by floods. We are to take the car to the Service Center in Nad Al Hamar Rd - Dubai. Another 70 km away from the destination.NOTE: I was sent to two wrong addresses1. Dubai Investment Park2. Dubai Industrial CityI’m totally disappointed with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (Middle East) Dubai UAE for their lack of communication, clarification and direction which was absolutely essential to organize the service for my vehicle. The unprofessionalism by RSA for my motor insurance claim has been noted and recorded. The massive disorganization from RSA is appalling to say the least.Something must be done !

Worst experience today with Road Side assistance. Manage to reach someone at call after 10 continues calls and waiting for more than 30 minutes. That is also after trying non-toll free number. Toll-free number keep waiting with standard message of We will attend you shortly.Reason of delay was simply explained as Busy because of many calls in Sunday morning.RSA is the costliest in market and supposed to provide best service...

I visited the branch at 4:00pm only one counter was available so I had to wait for a while, but I was looked after very well. Refused to pay for a home theft claim from home insurance policy. After extended persistence RSA finally sent a lost adjuster. Despite the loss adjuster noting it was a clearly theft claim after further months of delays and unanswered emails and calls RSA refused to pay. Have cancelled all car and home policies.

Very bad service, no sense of urgency, no clear process, no understanding of Oman process.On top of that, you discover a lot of limitations in the insurance coverage for Oman that was never mentioned in the policy.Also the call center agents, doesn’t differentiate between emergency case for someone traveling in Oman or normal accident in home country like UAE. On top of that, they are really unprofessional and not trained enough.Every time you talk to agent, they start from the beginning asking obvious questions as if they don’t have any case management or CRM system to track what happened in your case.It’s completely unrecommended and I will terminate such policy ASAP.

Worst customer service along with unexperienced staff...after renewing my policy for the fourth year without any fault or accident...im surprised that my policy is not under agency repair condition even my car is under warranty rsa agent want me to go to the garage and repair my car and lose my dealer warranty...my original policy included agency repair i just called year after year to renew it...i didnt ask for any change just renew and take the payment...agent decided to remove this option without thinking that my car isbunder warranty and if my car is repaired in the garage i will lose my warranty which is more important and more expensive than what i have paid for the insurance

I have been using them for last 2 years . Wont renew my insurance with them . I got stuck in desert just 200 meters from road . I called them and they said operations team will contact me and I sent pictures along with location . Advisor on phone told me 40 mins approx. In next 30 mins o didnt get a call from driver nor operations team .After I called them and they advisor kept me on hold to check the status , and told me now its getting dark so we cant send anyone .We can send someone tomorrow .Is this a joke !!! What am I supposed to do ? Spend night in desert just to get my car towed . By the way it was 5:50 pm in evening on a weekday .

I was with them for the past two years without any claim nor traffic offence. Now, they do not offer the Agency Repair anymore with same price with previous year even they have increased price for my premium for almost AED 1000 with the same policy. Their excuses were they can no longer offer the Agency Repair with same price. It seems to me that there was no discount as a corporate member which they claim did in their quote did not explain any detail of discount at all. Consumers, be warned about buying a policy and shop around wisely. I have managed to decrease AED 1000 of premium with other known Insurance company with Agency Repair. Very disappointing to see the business practice like this. Hope this comment will help some to find the better deal.

If you have an agency repair policy with them, youll probably be OK, but if your policy is none agency repair, then I feel sorry for you.They have a tie up with a garage called KM Garage and it is probably the worse place you can take your car to.Not only they did a very bad job on my Ford F150, but they actually damaged other parts of the car. RSA asked me to bring the car back for repaiting and to fix all the other damages, which I did, and after another 5 days, they did an even lousier job and more damage!RSA acknowledged this and asked me to bring my car again, thats when I asked for another garage since I could not trust them anymore. RSA ignored my request and just didnt care. I ended up repairing my car at my own cost.
