This was a quick and reliable way to purchase Travel Insurance, I was very satisfied with the experience as I always use this Company for that very reason.

Pathetic service. Highly recommended not to buy the insurance from AIG ever. I bought a travel insurance during pandemic. My baggage was damaged by airline. I have provided all necessary documents. At the end they didn’t want to pay my claim. Instead they asked me to purchase new to claim reimbursement. Which I told them that i don’t want to spend money due to COVID situation I am going through money restraints and struggling. They didn’t bother to consider and never contacted to solve my claim till date. It’s been more than 3 months. Greatly disappointed. NEVER BUY AIG INSURANCE.

Think twice before you buy insurance from here! I have been an AIG customer for 10 years. I have always purchased travel insurance from them and I am a relatively frequent flyer. I had a flight to Japan in March with a transit in Hong Kong. I flew from Dubai to Hong Kong but due to new rules that were issued by the Japanese government the airport in Hong Kong received in the last minute they denied me boarding to my flight to Japan and I was stranded in Hong Kong for 2 days. This cost me extra hotel fees, transportation, and food. When I returned back to Dubai, for the first time in 10 years I had tried claiming my insurance as I was eligible for a claim as mentioned in my policy. The insurance company made a bunch of excuses and denied me my claim. Even though I had provided them proof (original flight itinerary, Japan Hotel bookings, etc) they asked for more proof such as a letter from the Hong Kong airport staff which is not possible to get.Henceforth I have decided I will never purchase any sort of insurance from AIG and made sure everyone I know who is a customer to be wary of this company. I hope this review makes you consider your options when purchasing insurance.

Never again 👇😡.... My flight was canceled and they said Corona is not covered. I purchased it early 2019 for 1 year. FRAUD!!! After I bought an insurance and had my luggage damaged they tried to give a lot of excuses why I can’t be paid despite any of these excuses where never mentioned before!They are not just not professional, they are FRAUD company!Be careful!
