I had a very good experience with the customer service agent I dealt with who answered all of my questions clearly and thoroughly, and provided guidance as to what plan work be best for myself and my family. One reason I am impressed is because I did not receive this kind of attentiveness when inquiring with other insurance companies as I was comparative shopping. The well-informed and responsive agent was the reason I ultimately chose Orient.

If you want just insurance for visa and dont need any deal with the insurance than this one if fine, else worst would like to give minus 5 star... but sadly option not available, calling to customer care waited 20 mins with no one picks up call, I have tried twice, and tired of waiting.Finally I got a call back from the office after this frustrated message, But like to request please improve you customer service, and improve your communication with customer with proper instruction and steps to follow on each service with mails and messages.

I have been trying to contact them every week for the status of my wifes insurance refund which i had clearly asked to transfer to her account and they keep emailing me that my cheque is ready for collection..when i email them back saying that i had requested for a bank transfer they send the same email saying its ready for collection..when i try to call them there is no response. I try their customer care number and i am put on hold for more than half an hour with no response and finally i have to opt for the call back option but until date no one has reached out to me. They are playing the cat and mouse game as they dont want to address my issue.

My single worst experience regarding insurance.They suspended my medical insurance without notifying me and I got to know when I visited a hospital due to a mild chest pain (note it could have been worse) and I had to pay hundreds of dirhams just for consultation.I have tried to contact them for the past 3 weeks but they have not responded.I do not know why they are doing this. I will never recommend them to anyone. If I wasnt an NRI here I would have sued them to the teeth!

One of my very bad experiences in Dubai.I hold a personal insurance from them.Now imagine one of my most horrible mornings - I fell down on a balcony at 7 am and broke my arm.I mean I really broke the bone, fractured it and a complicated operation has been required...And I got approval for this at 8 pm.More than 12 hours to wait with a fractioned bones. Practically my arm was totally disconnected from my body.I had to call to support center 4 times by myself, as they did not react to a hospital request...Simply the insurance company didnt have available doctor to take a look on my medical report and decide if my operation is needed and can be approved.If you choose insurance in Dubai, try to get some more responsible and reasonable company.Strongly not advice this Orient Insurance to anyone.

:: Cheating customers is their actual business. Its all quick & wonderful before signing up for health insurance but once you do, they have million reasons to not accept the claims, even surprising the doctors who deal with insurances every day.:: Their customer service is a joke. They never pick up calls. They never call back unless you wish to buy something. Claim related calls are put on hold or never answered. There is no explanation for basic medicines not being covered.:: Their network of clinics amd hospitals changes so frequently that you will mostly be disappointed by whats actually included. This is by the way mentioned in their terms so you have no option but to accept.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SUCH COMPANIES AND CHOOSE A BETTER INSURANCE OR SOMETHING FROM YOUR HOME COUNTRY THAT GIVES INTERNATIONAL COVERAGE.

I’ve been attempting to renew my auto insurance with Orient today (during working hours) and was placed on hold for 32min before I hung up. I called the main office number to see if someone could help and was forwarded through to a voice mail. Your operations and sales teams need to address the customer experience otherwise loyalty will dwindle in this competitive market.

My personal experience, i wouldn’t recommend this insurance, This is a waste of money, i’ve bought Silver class insurance for 15k , and i have to beg them for approval like a 200 AED insurance, very slow service, and it takes ages for them to reply on email, i’ve submitted reimbursement and it’s been 6 months and still nothing, i regret insuring with them and i don’t want this to happen to anyone else, especially when you pay lots of money and get poor service

We’ve been cheated in the most cruel way. We applied for insurance for 2 employees (through Insurancemarket.ae) and they assured us that it can be refunded if not used. We were super clear from the start about might be having to refund it because we were going to replace that insurance with a higher level one. We have been chasing them for a year (!!!) now and all in vain. Just empty promises and lies. 1500 aed down the drain. Extremely disappointed and feeling cheated.

Extremely bad service and attitude towards customers. Made a mistake of taking medical insurance policy where I was charged 2 times for my insurance. When asked for immediate refund, they introduce their in-house policy of refund after 1 month. Thinking that I would get my refund in 1 month, 2 months pass by and still no sign of any refunds. Have to say that I will not make this mistake again or ever suggest anyone to go with Orient insurance.I suppose this is the case with all Al Futtaim group companies.

My experience with this company is really soo disappointing starting every time I will ask for the SOA or receipt of my payment they will take time to respond. And now after 2 years Im withdrawing my policy they emailed me what are the documents to send, and I forwarded the documents requested (1st page of insurance policy, emirates id, filled up form, passport copy) last September 28, 2020. October 16,2020 I received a reminder of renewal policy. I reminded them that I already send my documents for withdrawal and Im waiting for the 21 working days from the day I sent my documents. And now after 20 days from the day I emailed my documents they will tell me that I still need to send few pages before they will start the process. I am sure they will start from today 20 or 21 of October. And I got a reply that my documents have been received and they will start the process and if they need any they will contact me. I think they forgot (as always) to contact their clients. I am not expecting anything I just wanted a Reasonable customer service from them. When it comes on the claims, insurance companies will mess up with you like what ORIENT Insurance did. They will put up delaying techniques! and this one of the most reason why Im withdrawing from them. They dont help you at all!!!

I have bad experience with the agent of this company, first i called them to renew my insurance with them, they gave me price higher than the market by 500AED and they decrease my car value 25% !!I told the agent that i have another good offers from another companies try to give me a good offer, he told me wait i will get offer for you but he was lair he didnt, i a called him many times and he didnt answer, even in WhatsApp. At the end i went to another company by the end they will lose all there customers by this way. I dont recommend it at all because of this agent

There is no proper details on website to buy new insurance. While talking on phone customer care , they saying that if you salary is more than 4000 then you are investor, not employee. Someone just teach them proper english . they are forcing us to write wrong details while taking insurance so at the time of claim they are not responsible. 08/01/2020Today I had a very disappointing experience from orient insurance team. They rejected my wifes maternity coverage request while she was at the hospital waiting for approval after delivery. They rejected as I did not declare that she was pregnant while adding her into my insurance which was a mistake done by me while filling up the form. Thats genuine. But in that case, they were supposed to reject my request for all the pregnancy related check up from the very first day, so that I will be aware and would have added any maternity coverage for her. But they did not reject it up to 7 months. And the rest two months check up and delivery was followed in India. And they are justifying that all those approval was done by the system automatically which is not at all my concern.There are many more incidents with them experienced by my colleagues.Just be aware guys...

I do NOT recommend this insurance for anyone. Even if it’s cheap they are not capable of handling simple reimbursement claims that were caused by multiple doctors visits and invoices related to the same emergency case. If you as their customers visit the same clinic for follow up procedures that you used for the emergency, this insurance does not cover that!?? You need to see another doctor as per their policy and start everything from beginning + extra paperwork and other policies. Really inconvenient. One star only for quick response from the customer service unit.

There is enough parking in and around the building.The ground floor reception is very well furnished with helpful staff and a proper sitting area. Most dissapointing insurance. Customer service score should be negative. I wasted my time and money on this insurance. Would not recommend it at all. I just ask a simple question of what is the number to contact in case of emergency on the road and the lady who answered my call coudnt answer it at all. She gave me 10 different number to call and all are wrong. One of those number is a travel agency.

They declined my application even I have complete documents and I never miss paying my loan insurance with them. When I lost my job even I have letter from the company stated that its not my fault and its because of the market and I need to use my benefits with the insurance they just declined it and telling the bank reason that i dont know and when I contacted them they just told me they can just communicate with the bank and not with me.FYI...Im the one whos paying the insurance monthly not the bank so why you cant explain to me the reason!. Even the bank dont understand why you declined it. This insurance is not being fare to their customer!

Very poor customer service! I cancelled my car insurance policy and its been more than 20 days now with no one contacting me back regarding my refund. However I have sent 5 follow up emails, only I got a reply on two emails from Orient with (wait we are processing the request) and no timeframe or clear information on how long this process can take also how much they will refund back.I have also called them on the phone and seriously after two or three times with no body answers, finally someone will answer you and transfer your call to otjer person who never answers tje phone!Also, all the office takes lunch break from 1:00 to 2:00 and the office is closed during that time (Nobody works and you have to wait) not kidding.

Lets be clear them, when they claim on website itself some human values, it is something that they dont apply to all customers. Me complaining about this way of being treated I got answered by email, clearly stating that I should be happy to receive the minimum service that the law force them to have - fair enough - but why going to Orient if it is to be treated the same way as cheaper competition does? So there is no best experience nor humanist culture in the deal, there is saving a few dirhams here and there irrespective of the impact on the customer struggle to have his car fixed. Especially when all the class A garages they work with are all located in northern Dubai only, and Im not expanding on what they call a class A garage which is just like a nasty joke, so God has mercy if they take you to class B.I will close on a tip for them (because it doesnt cost more) for logistic consciousness - just bear in mind that your customers about to be without car in Dubai for a couple of days or more, with a job, dont necessarily live near to your convenience and you could at the very least try to partner evenly with other garages in this wide city to make others life easier for once.

For those who wish to take package which cover maternityIts Worst Worst Worst.....Before taking policy ask clearly about the benefits.Especially womens who wish to give birth here for their childrensNormally they will say the package (1650 DHS) will cover maternity, but it will not... you want to pay 1650 + 12000 at the time of renewal.. (Information from the customer care representative)Conversation with customer care representative:Me : I need to know details about the Medical Insurance Plan which covers maternity.Customer Care: Sir, there is a 1650 DHS Plan which covers maternity.Me : It will cover maternity?Customer Care: Yes Sir, but it will cover only if she conceive after 3 or 4 months from the date of issue.. Before that, it will not.If she is conceived after 4 months and she is not delivering before card expires she want to renew the policy with an additional cost of 12000. Total (1650 + 12000)[Want to conceive after 4 months and to deliver before card expire.. (card is valid for 12 months) # 8 months...Dont they know a normal delivery period is 9+ months?So for sure, we want to renew the policy and for that we want to pay the above mentioned amount (1650+ 12000)]Me: Ok for the last month (9th ) i will renew my policy by paying 13000... How much you will cover for the delivery?Customer Care: For normal delivery , it will cover up to 7000 and for cesarean 10000.
