The nurses and doctors are great. But is there anyone on the phone especially on the insurance office? Ive calling for over 2 hours and I havent talk to anyone at all. For goodness sake assign people who will answer the phone

Very poor service. I was booked for an infusion at the hospital and after doing all the blood test, and check in, they said that the medicine is not available. The pharmacy department and its head is inefficient to get a non formulary drug for us..

My father is admitted in normal ward, the noise of the monitor is too high which is disturbing the patient, I informed the on duty team and they said they need to hear the sound to react, I mean so what about the patients comfort.?? Emergency wards are nice and quiet but normal ward a big no no!!!. They really need to work on this part, the room sound like some gaming zone, my father is not able to sleep at all, how we can expect him to recover soon?? Nurses in the night duty were not really helpful and careless, my father was on saline and suddenly the drips stopped, we informed the staff and 1 nurse said no need!! Now saline, after checking with other nurse she says its necessary to give him saline then someone came and switched it back on! Really a dreadful experience. Urine bottle was left beside my dad n upon asking nurse to send someone to remove it her reply was you have to take it by yourself, we are not going to take it where in same day morning nurse took it by herself!! So we dont know what is the rule!! And not only this upon asking for the new bottle we were asked to use the same bottle after washing it!! Honestly in respect of the other patients I could not say much because they were fast a sleep! I wish I could give 0 stars here!! I expect someone from the marketing team to call me. Dr. Abdul Rahim is a gem of a person, the only time I was happy in this place is the time he use to visit my father, he is great in explaining the matter, laughing and joking with patient to make him feel better, couldnt ask for better.! Thank you so much to Dr. Abdul Rahim.And a big no no to Dubai hospital!!!

Went to the emergency today cuz my sister had severe lower abdominal pain and could barely stand or walk from the pain. At the entrance of the emergency not a single nurse or anyone who works there cared to help or even bring a wheelchair. Instead they were like go bring your own wheelchair and how are we supposed to know where the chairs are ??? When a person is distraught and not feeling well they cant focus therefore the medical staff shud have helped. Anyway just wanted to share this so that perhaps something is done to care better for patients who come to the emergency.

I am so much grateful and thankful to Dubai Hospital, the staff from Emergency, Surgical ICU, Isolation Ward and Covid Ward on the 12th Floor, my Dad who is 77 years old came in as an emergency on 14th January due to coronavirus and was very critical at that stage, he was put on ventilation and oxygen for almost 2 weeks but with all the treatments and experienced staff my dad pulled through this hard time and was removed off from ventilation and oxygen, he was stable and geting monitored all the time from the staff, within one month my dad fought the coronavirus and was discharged on 10th FebruaryTHANK YOU DUBAI HOSPITAL & ALL THE STAFF HANDLING THE CORONAVIRUS SITUATIONYOU GUYS ARE REALLY DOING A GREAT JOBGOD BLESS YOU ALL !!👍👍👍👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

Everybody is not rich to hv their own car or hire taxi. I was very weak n walking was a nightmare to me.to catch bus to gold souq I had to walk from the only entrance to the opposite of the post office to catch bus which took sbt 45 mins to reach. Hospital should keep in mind to help out the padistrians an easy access to the main road. The entrance opposit to the post office was blocked but no construction was going on or any labourers were seen around!! I can not set in words my suffering to walk down from the main entrance of the hospital all the round walking to the bus stop across Union coop in my post COVID days!!

I am disappointed.. Normal Delivery is very expensive, almost 12k with 2 days stay in hospital. Plus antenatal package of 5k I purchased as said its mandatory. So total I spent 17k. Not to include vitamins. No insurance, no work no pay since lockdown in March, both husband and I are suffering. . Getting pregnant here is like a crime.Its more expensive than private.

My husband waleid was admitted in icu ward as covid patient, the care and support that he got from doctors and nurses were amaizing they were like a family and they saved my husbands life .. am very thankful to all the nurses .. katrina,myumi,shiny,maricris, may,neethu, jacqui, vijay, mini,rinu,zahra,siju,bindu babu ,lalhe, sowmiya, bindu thomas, manal ,jincymol,mira,louella,sweery,farzana,salini,waqas.And special thanks to Dr.Ashraf, Dr.Nahed,Dr.Nikkil,Dr.fayaz, Dr.Raed.Thank you so much .. you are a real heros 💗💗💗💗

Worst Hospital in the UAE, their resident doctors dont know how to treat a case of lung infection and they usually admit the patient, who are already financially suffering charging them AED 21,000/- and even the emergency room procedures are charged. No country that I have ever been too has charged ER service in government hospital. What are you running a hospital or a bank and if you are going to admit someone atleast provide them with a proper diagnosis.

I visited Dubai hospital for an emergency case, its long story that what happened to my wife, but in short words, we were met by professional staff, & Exerienced doctors, who eased her pain. I would like to thank HIS HIGHNESS SHEIKH MOHAMMAD BIN RASHID AL MAKHTOUM for providing such a great facility to us. we were treated by a doctor named DR. Shandi Nawar Mustafa, she visited us in Emergency Department & later we followed her to the cilinics, for the followup checkups. she was an angel to us, i dont know if there are doctor awards, if there are she deserves to be the best doctor. she s not just a good doctor but also a good & Kind Human being.

Worst General Surgery unit. People should not have General surgery here. They can destroy simple surgery case and cause complications after surgery.

Dubai hospital is located in al Khaleej Street ,Dubai. This is a goverment hospital with numerous specialized departments including oncology,cardiology,and nephrology. I visited last day with my nephew. A well organised hospital with all facility. Inpatient facility available. Very neat and hygeine. All staff members are helpful and caring.

This Dubai hospital is one of the best and well known hospital in Dubai.Big operations are done here with high success rate.Staff very helpful and hardworking.Parking area is very big.Too many specialists can be found here in this hospital.Location is very good and taxi service is available and bus routes can be found nearby the road outside the hospital gate.Shops and restaurants,cafes and gift shop available inside the hospital.For insurance coverage just check with the help desk and they will assist you with more information.Yes they have ATM machines in the hospital.I wish and hope you all have a good health and getting well soon.

Worst hospital ever I would give 0 star if i can !!Dont be fooled by bells and whistles, the hospital work staff are lazy and throwing responsibilities over training students thats why the treatment quality is really bad and a lot of medical mistakes happening there not to mention the rude behaviour of some of the staff personell . Our experience with this so called hospital, my wife was admitted for normal delivery with no issues , we were surprised that the obstitrician in charge was not there and left his duty to training students ,the horror story started when a CLEVER nurse said that baby is dead as there was no pulse on ecg machine which badly affected my wife morals to find out that the machine wasnt properly sat up and followed by anaesthetic doctor who also terrified us beside to all of their manipulations with us the obstitrician said that we need to go into caeserian section immediately . After all of this mess i have came to conclusion that they are not only non professional but also greedy and running behind patients pocket ,at that time the surgery costs double amount of the normal delivery beside the risk and after surgery complications happened to my wife... in general the humanitarian side is totally ABSENT , not to forget that the expat does not have any kind of medical coverage . AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Horrible experience... had an appointment for my 2 years and a half daughter at 11 am in the LASIK clinic and I had to wait for almost 2 hours after the scheduled appointment. Nurses do not control who goes in the doctors consultation room therefore there were some walk ins attended. When finally my daughters turn came I was asked to wait in front of the consultation room where are no chairs being told that it will take only a few minutes. Almost 20 minutes later I was still waiting standing with my daughter for her turn.

Waiting period is much, though you have appointment. Not all staff knows about the Administrative procedures. You need to have much patience here.

Amazing care given to My Daughter (Ayesha Hussain) she was in serious condition but treatment go well . Thanks to professionals and caring Doctors and Nurse .

Last night i went at the mid night for emergency stomach pain and i am pregnant for 2 months.. The nurse who was in that night shift did not take care in gyno session.. she shouted at me to sit when i asked few doubts abut my pain. she didnt explain me the machines name and took some ear test.. i scared .. for that also she shouted.. she said some instrument will be placed for scan..i scared.. she shouted again and didnt explain me what was that...again she asked me to take urine sample.. i gave her.. she started shouting me to sit out.. she only asked me to bring but the way she shouted i felt really wounded... finally after the scan i didnt aware of that i wont get report instead of i am new to this Dubai..i asked scan report again she shouted at me and screamed that get lost......i paid for the consulting 250.. i didnt see her free.. i dont know why she behaved like this.. the shameless thing which i want to share is she is also from India my country.. i really shocked .. for the first time i had this much worst experience.. hereafter i will never ever visit them... hate the core.. Any higher official will read this kindly change her ...she is the biggest black mark.. i didnt notice her name.. else i would have mentioned... if you call me for verification i will show her directly .. i never ever forget that arrogant lady face..

My mother was in a lot of pain and I had to rush her to the emergency room on August 28, 2019 shortly before midnight. The gentleman at the reception made this already stressful experience much worse.I was told a few times to go to the reception to ask for information or directions, every single time this gentleman would not let me finish asking a question or allow me to speak before loudly cutting me off or speaking over me. His rude and arrogant behavior was a shock because it was not busy or crowded at that time.We were not there to receive free treatment – we paid in full for the consultation, tests and medications. The least we can expect from the hospital staff is a reasonable amount of compassion or not add to our distress. I was born in Dubai Hospital and I have been going there for years but this experience has put an end to that. Thank you.

I would not give even one star but Im forced to because i want to write this review. Really its horrible hospital and horrible staffs I think they brought them in the hospital for war not for nursing. My wife had very serious pain and she was 30 weeks pregnant when we went there doctor and nurse were talking outside and laughing they were in their own world like they were on vacation or something after 30 minutes she came inside and she was asking what happened in rude way. thanks Allah suddenly my wife said my pain decreased and I suddenly told her lets go out of this torturing place. I recommend DHA to look after this and I recommend people who want to go for pregnancy please look for some private hospital all private hospitals have outstanding service. Im writing this to help people not to fell in such a horrible event that i fell.

Forced to delay my mothers small surgery because the hospital says give us Full payment Advance AED 18,000 or else my 65 years old mother suffering in sever pain will not be admitted for operation despite several requests that we will pay half cash now and arrange the balance payment before she is discharged. On human grounds please operate on her she is in sever pain in this old age.. but nobody listens.. full cash advance payment or you can go thank you!Same thing happened few months back AED 20,000 full Advance cash before admission or else you can go.. nobody not even the hospital charity department / social service department listen about paying half amount after surgery. Problem is why are Insurance companies and hospitals making profit from old patients? Why not give them 50% off on insurance, medicine and surgeries? They are already so weak and do not earn income why charge old people so much and make them suffer by waiting for surgery if their medical bill can not be paid? They are already in pain and tired of life. Another issue is Not all insurance companies want to give them policy! Tuff life.

Very friendly staff, shout outs for the nurses in OB sections.. They took care of me when i was hospitalized.. They dont have dull moments.. Kabayans, indians, Arabics, etc diverse nationalities and they work harmonious..My food as a patient is well prepared too, they served it on time... The hospital is clean, every hour they check around and clean what is supposed to..Doctors are accommodating, they dont talk down with the patient but with care.. so i felt safe and comfortable during my stay.. They gave me all information i need to do for my medications so currently i can easily understand the procedures i need to do though Im in my home country to continue some procedures i need.I really appreciate the care and service.. Been there for blood test.. For the first time in UAE i felt i am in some stupid 3world country..!? All of this feeling because of two persons :1st one security guard who s giving the right to pass to people that approach him for some money 💵 tips.. 2nd one Egyptian nurse (guy) in the section of blood test who s shouting to people like if it was his own hospital.. On this day.. Only two nurses :that stupid Egyptian and other soudani lady.. Very sweet and polite..that guy he is not even qualified to take a blood specimen in a stable..!? DHA hospital with major specialities. But in Emergency, avoid bringing patients with trauma(accidents, falls etc) as these cases are transferred to Rashid Hospital(another DHA hospital). Here in Emergency they mostly deal with Medical cases.

All praise to Oncology department head to doctors on duty and pra-medical staff for best treatment and care.
