I applied for Emirates id almost 3 weeks ago. Every time i call they say it’s technical issue, they gave me a case number and told me to wait 5 working days.After 5 days expired i called again and they told me to wait another 5 days. Still waiting! Somebody is not doing his job properly and thinks technical issue will be resolved by itself.

Their number is a call centre. I need to clarify the ID card replacement process and called the call centre so many times, but after a long wait for more than 10 mins, I still didn’t get to speak to a representative. They just let you listen to auto messages again and again.Update: After a long wait, i was able to connect to a customer service agent and he was able to help advise. However, they dont seem to know when the new ID card will be issued and delivered due to the long delay.

This Federal authority is now a main partner with immigration department after merging the two services in one ... the main work frame is to issue eid for everyone locals, or residents this was a national project almost 10 years ago 2012 at the beginning the process was super as it started in Dubai in immigration and it was so easy and timely after few years the process became a night mare specially for the companies as the eid centres were few and the applicants were huge the lines were very long and the waiting time was so long due to the few centres and few employees who are handling the finger prints process biometrics recently and earlier in 2021 the authority started to open new centres like Yalayis, Satwa, and al-Nahda in Qusais so the lines nearly has been disappeared and the time of the process became shorter ... the best main eid centre in Dubai is al-Barsha which has evaluation of 6 stars recently as people there are so friendly and helpful .

Dont waste your time, at this place they will redirect you to other centres, better to go to other centres straight.. waste of time and very unwelcoming reception.

Wouldn’t take my biometrics. Apparently because of where I did my medical. Sent me to Al Yalayis which is over 20km away. Seems I wasn’t the only person to be redirected. Check first to avoid wasted journey

They are not doing emirates id finger scan. who did the medical in alquse mall medical fitness centre. i dont know why this guys doing this. federal authoritys all same right. if u have should mentioned your site or application form to go specific branches...... This is not right

There is no negative star. I would rate it negative if possible. Went there 3 times since Feb. They refused to hear your problems. Keep explaining problem of my ID could not read biometric but the staff there would not listen. Until today i havent get my ID fixed. Went there last week and was promised someone would call to fix my ID but no one called as expected! I dont know whereelse to go if they keep treating customer like this! No reference number was given etc etc, when u asked for more information, they just told u just wait for the call arrogantly. I just need to fix my ID thats all and dont expect unpleasant experience and additional stress! The front desk is so rude too! And furthermore, they could not be contacted via phone, you have to go there personally for just to waste your time! I hope action could be taken to improve immediately!Update: I went there again. Was assigned to an officer Jamililah and Mohammad. They are so professional and finally get my issue sorted in 2 days. Very very pleased. Kudos to Jamilah and Mohammad. Get my replacement ID the next day. Very happy. Not everyone is like Jamilah and Mohammad, hope you are lucky to be served by them.

This is review for Al Quoz mall ICA office:Very disappointed with the experience. Ladies staff exhibit rude behaviour- disrespectful, unprofessional behaviour ( yells and shouts at the customers instead of helping them out), smacks hand if you fail to position correctly on the biometric device. If you face trouble with getting form barcode detected by the scanner,they will kick you out and say its not their problem instead of guiding the customer about how it can be rectified. They will take your photo without cue and if it comes out with closed eyes,wont entertain any request for retake. Expect lot of shouting, yelling and screaming. Disgusted!

Updated on 24 June 2021. If you have taken Medical at Amer in Ibn Batuta Mall, they will send you to Al Yalayis Government Transactions Center in Dubai Investment Park (DIP). There is a Federal Authority section there along with many other government offices like RTA, DHA etc. This Federal Authority office has been recently shifted from Al Quoz area.For Al Barsha Branch, not sure for which category of people they do the biometrics as it’s difficult to have a conversation with the people on reception and get this information. On the other hand, the Security Guard have been really helpful.P.S. - I wasn’t asked for a PCR test as it has been written in few reviews below.

For finger prints/you need to show negative PCR test before allowing you to go in. Fast service only few minutes and you are done. Thanks for all staff

I had issues taking the fingerprints in Al Quoz center, however after a complaint i was redirected to visit al barsha branch. Support there was very helpful and the process took less than 10 minutes.

I applied for Emirates ID and got it on the same day (with 150 dhirams extra charge). Well organized system and everyone is nice and so responsive.I had hard time to find a taxi as this place located in highway and could not find any hotel/coffee shops near by.Over all, it was good experience.

Its really good and responsive, I was meet the 2 staffs both are good , I have some mistakes for my emirates id application so i wasnt get the id,Thats our side fault but those staffs clear the my issue. Now I got the emirates id,

Slow government office, make you wait and redirect you to reception. Also had to make several trips between here and Al Quoz for Emirates ID because their barcode did not work properly and they cant do biometric here. Not a good experience

They should be more courteous towards attending the person coming there keeping in mind Nobody comes there without a cause.

Can anyone please tell me if PCR test is required to enter the building?

This place is very good for the people living nearby. The staff are very helpful and hard-working. They are very professional and know what is needed.The place is so big with lots of staff and seats for waiting area. You can find coffee and tea machine there.They are very organized once you arrive there get your token and wait till it appears on the screen. This help and protect you from other people jumping the lines. So you can save your time and finish early.They have all the machines to process your card there including the cameras to take your photos there .Just check the documents needed for your renewal or anything else.Have a great day

Very good cooperative staff specially in AlBarsha, I had one issue of my new born got fine due to pandemic consulate was closed. Anyhow after many rounds to Amer centers and other EIDA centers rejection of requests, someone told me to visit Al Barsha and explain your issue. Literally they are cooperative, manager listen my issue and after verify all the documents she asked me to register again with change the EIDA center location. It is solved come on ... 0 AED fine Alhamdulillah

People having issues with VISA related and things related to ICA, should really use their website. The development team is awesome and they really help you. I am just not so happy because i thought the response from them will be also the same in the way i approached others (wasting my time). But i was surprised. I really have respect now for UAE government and the ways they have made to help the residents here. In simple words Great Work

I was there yesterday for issuing my children new Emirates I’d , system was down in the morning and we went back in the afternoon and still system was down, one of the staff which was very friendly , guide me and explained about my documents which has some issues from typing Center, with his guidance and his professional scale we were abled to got our documents in order , he was trying to solve our problem for more than half an hour and finally he done it , we were very surprised how he tried several time and not give up, finally he managed to do the job done perfectly and that was during this tuff time epidemic and system problem , thank you Mr. Kh M 🙏I am posting this to show my appreciation to him and his team, I am expat resident and happy in Dubai since 1982 , my appreciation to this country with excellent leadership 🙏wishing happiness and success to all🙏🙏🌹🌹❤️❤️

I came here first for my Visa and they sent me to Muhaisnah, 2nd time I came with my wife and they sent me to Karama. I believe they dont entertain new visas or people without visa stamped on passport. If you are applying for Emirates ID before your visa is stamped on the passport Please make sure you visit either Muhaisnah or Karama to get your fingerprints scanned and photo being taken. All the branches should clearly mention who theyll entertain and provide all the services. Very disappointing.

Other then nice building this centre was huge disappointment. Staff was just not willing to understand our issue. Ending up paying fine which was was totally unfair. My son ID issuance/ renewal fine for the tenor we were not even residents of UAE. With same documents rest of family had no fines. Really funny!!! Cant believe. Cant give zero star for performance so sticking with one star.

I told them that our embassy will take more than 45 days to issue a new passport. They said Ok, Just bring us a new passport and a letter from the embassy explaining the date the passport was requested, and the date the passport was delivered to you. ”This will help you not to pay any late fines.I brought the new passport, embassy message, and payment receipt that proves that the passport application was made before my sons ID card expired. I was surprised when they said (Federal Identity Authority in Al Barsha Branch Dubai) we need another letter from the embassy with two dates. She requested another letter from the embassy, ​​and made a request to remove the fines.After all these tiring stepsFrantic, and all the pressure I went through, my application was rejected. Why ?! Why did they ask for all these hectic measures, and they simply rejected them in the end.I felt very sad, did not help, disappointed, and my case was not considered at all, although I have all the evidence. very sad!!I had my sons ID to expire on Dec 19.
