When you return the car they want to charge for everything, also already exisiting scratches. Very bad experience. Stay away.

Beware of hidden charges, I had the worst experience after booking via their alleged international website rather than local website. Thrifty.com is apparently different from ThriftyUAE.comMy original booking promised zero liability insurance, but after reaching there I was notified that insurance does not apply in UAE and only reduces excess to 50% and there was also additional registration fee driving my rental cost up, none of which had been mentioned even the detailed rental agreement email I received.I had no option but pay or withdraw my rental. The receptionist mentioned of other customers being misinformed the same way but nothing has changed in their practice to be more transparent about these charges.The only pleasant experience was with car collection agent (Saeed) during the pre/post delivery check-up.

Terrible customer service. DO NOT RENT from them. Upon return of rental car, they will not accept the car if there is the slightest scratch, even as small as less than 0.010 depth and less than 0.25 length, whether on hub caps or bottom of plastic bumper that might have occured during normal driving conditions. They will argue with the customer for hours and refuse to accept the car unless you drive to the police and get a police report. Do not bother with the insurance as they will find any excuse to make you pay a large fee of several hundred Durhams (it will cost you as much to obtain a police report as well; it is not free). They will charge you for fake traffic violations. DO NOT RENT from this company.

Initially service used to be good but then it changed. Now it is horrible increase rate when they want, remove vehicle from fleet, does not provide replacement, improper salik billing, failing delivery of vehicle on time. Horrible service go else where if you are looking for better service

Rented a car for 1 day and then asked for a few hours of extension. They have doubled the price and charged me for 2 days. Sigh.

Booked online for 180 2 days then they claimed the booking didnt exist and tried giving me a car for 200 per day.
